one last thing I will say on that topic. Americans getting upset about you calling out Zionism. When you're not talking about Judaism or in fact, about religion at all. When you're talking about a national military funded by a country that has been dropping bombs on the middle east since the 1980s. But then I suppose when people who are so so so comfortable with equating a whole religion, or further a whole entire group of multiple ethnicities, with simply 'terrorism', are criticised on any aspect of their wrongdoings of course they must think we're talking about their whole religion. Literally every word is a projection.

i’m not saying this to defend rt it’s simply because i hate misinformation but. from what i have seen no rt employees found out about the company closing from twitter. some people they have hired in the past as contractors (ie. casey lee williams) found out via twitter and do not get me wrong. this is very very shitty. but as far as i can tell no one found out they were losing their job via twitter.

i am suddenly thinking a lot about jiang cheng and jiang fengmian, specifically in how jiang fengmian—while not being outright cruel to jiang cheng—gives us no reason to believe that he is proud of or pleased with jiang cheng due to jiang cheng’s 1) penchant of maintaining a certain status quo/refusal to take risks and 2) the similarities of his personality to yu ziyuan. and yet, the time we see jiang cheng put himself in the danger, take a risk, defy yu ziyuan, is when he is putting himself in yu ziyuan’s own line of fire to protect wei wuxian from zidian, all while the wens are there and the threat they pose is dangerously tangible. and jiang fengmian is not even there to see it, let alone live long enough to hear of the events.

oh right i talk abt this sometimes on twitter but never here so
if you want to repost my art, please ask me first. i will most likely say yes, but PLEASE ask! not only for my art but anyone's art, really. it doesn't matter if you're going to give credits or not. some artists don't want their art reposted at all, not even with credits. make sure to ASK FIRST.
same way if you're going to use someone else's art for personal use (icon, header, etc). DON'T DO IT UNLESS: 1) the artist has stated that it's okay to use their art for personal use (check their twitter bio, about page, carrd, etc), or 2) you personally ask them and they say it's fine. if they don't answer, it means NO.
don't treat someone's art as a free drawing you can use however you want!! is all.

So now that my brain is functioning a bit more correctly, I'm no longer totally overwhelmed by discord and groupchats and am actually interested in shooting the shit with other people. I've gone full adhd recently as far as getting into a million conversations in youtube comments and joining the discords of a few smaller youtubers I enjoy. So I was curious if any of you guys would be interested in joining a little discord server if I opened one? It would probably be mostly shitposts, maybe some WIP artwork, as well as talking about mental illness and health & fitness. I'm having so much fun documenting all my recent progress, and I figure it might be fun to get to know some of you better, especially my long-time mutuals. (No minors allowed tho--I'm a grown ass adult so I have no desire to hang around with any teens who aren't directly related to me lmao)
obviously my IRL friends who follow me on here would be more than welcome to join too lol so if any of you would be down for something like this, like or comment below so I can gauge interest! Maybe you could give suggestions for possible channel topics or whatever

Yeah because those cases were actually fun.
You don't get to mock turn about goodbyes and reclaimed if the case your giving me is dull as shit and drawn out to hell.
I literally stopped this case half way through to replay goodbyes because I needed to remember that this series isn't actually bad and boring and it's just this case. Keep her name out of your dirty fucking mouth

okay this is gonna be Controversial or whatever and i don't really care but you have Got to stop acting like people using words in contexts you don't like. is the most important problem that we all need to focus a lot of energy on. This is vaguely in response to someone i saw going off at someone who's post they Entirely Agreed With but op said "delusional" in a not exactly positive context and THAT became the issue to focus on, rather than the actual subject at hand.
like please. can you stop. for a moment. take a deep breath. and remember that this is not the most important issue for disabled people in real life. nowhere near. nowhere near
we all have limited energy especially disabled people. and there's so many things you can do that will make disabled people's lives tangibly better, beyond just avoiding being upset by a string of letters. the words are not the problem. the words may be a symptom of underlying societal issues but please can we address the societal issues instead of yelling at people about words. you're just gonna make people defensive and then you've created a division and an enemy where there really needn't be one. when you could be spending your energy in so many other, more useful ways
here's a couple examples ok
disability benefits/welfare. lobby your government. get involved with activist groups. campaign for disabled people to get enough money to live on and then some. campaign to remove barriers to access to support disabled people are (/ should be) entitled to
social stigma around disability. this doesn't mean yell at people over words they use but it does mean this. tell people being disabled (/delusional/crazy etc) isn't a bad thing, campaign for mental illness and neurodivergence to be seen as disabling conditions, make people aware that the vast majority of us will become disabled permanently or temporarily at some point in our lives. destigmatise use of mobility aids and such. make support easily accessible and don't make disabled people have to ask and fight for support where it can be avoided. don't make disabled people prove their disability and don't make them have to get more sick in order to get help. etc.
there's so much more but this is like the most basic stuff n i might make a seperate post about this. point being. stop making it seem like words people use are the main issue When They're Really Not.
seriously. discourse about what words are okay to use in what context is a great way to stall progress and distract from the actual issues disabled people face, that threaten their lives and livelihoods. just look at what's happened with lgbtq activism - progress is reversed and erased while baby queers fight each other about slurs. its sickening
by arguing about language you're putting the cart before the horse. can we please make sure we don't have to fucking fight for our lives first. and THEN maybe we can tell people to stop using deluded in a negative way. but can we make sure disabled people can survive and thrive first. can that be the focus of our activism please. yelling about words is not real activism holy shit you guys.

Harry has talked about not sharing his personal life. He said he did it in the past and gave away too much of himself and that didn't add anything positive to his life. That he protects himself by setting boundaries and that he compartmentalizes his work and personal life. And this tells me he puts himself and his mental well being ahead of his work. Not sharing himself is very much a choice.
https://www.tumblr.com/rainbowparadiseharry/684808648430682112/accidentalharrie-for-the-anon-who-asked?source=share
Of course it's a choice anon. And it would be great if Harry put his mental wellbeing ahead of his work anon. I'm not at all convinced that he does.
I think the key thing you're missing - and what Howard Stern mentions at the end - is that not revealing anything about himself serves a career purpose as well as a personal one.
Harry has made it clear that he's really scared of saying anything. I think a lot of him talking about reading Jon Ronson's So You've Been Publicly Shamed and feeling more free to say things and then saying absolutely nothing. I think there's every reason to think he's scared of saying anything substantive for both personal and career reasons.
There's nothing wrong with how Harry is trying to navigate what is basically an intolerable situation. But I think it's naive to cast it as Harry choosing his personal life over his career - and a sign that he's fine.
