🍸 The Lumen Lounge

The Lumen is the peak of the luxury club scene in Del Sol and is where the Starlight Accolades take place. Once a swanky hotel frequented by the rich and famous, the building now boasts an intimate lounge, VIP balcony seating, and exclusive dressing rooms. Sims often enjoy the luxe, pastel interior during the day before watching the building light up at night.

Bottom floor: Lounge with piano and restrooms, open to the public for mingling or rubbing elbows. Some outdoor seating, a fenced-off trailer area, and valet stand.

2nd floor: Ceremony area with stage, large screen, and seating. Intended for Starlight Accolades but also functions as movie theater.

3rd floor: VIP-only balcony seating with private restroom and access to the next floor.

4th floor: VIP-only dressing rooms and outdoor table seating.

No CC. Playtested & functional. (However, I did not get a chance to test an actual Starlight Accolades event.)

Its finally summer. Time to head to the beach, sip some Baja Blast, and cruise around in a Honda Civic/Crx Del Sol.

New beater/commuter acquired! 95 Honda Del Sol Si that needs lots of TLC, second one I've owned. My Subaru wagon is too rad for such a long commute several times a week now that I moved. Probably start a Honda dedicated blog soon for this whip. ✌️

What would your ocs do if they swapped roles (I’m bad with names. The guy with his apartment friend)

This was such a good ask I had to show it to Gunny. It would be a swap of complete chaos.

Graham is the neurotic guy with something wrong with him who's in too deep with shady stuff. Kingfisher is the weird ai/ surprise tool in his head that keeps him alive and mostly unscathed. Graham's probably hired muscle or some lackey and hating every second of it.

Del Sol is no longer the moon fungus in Aiden's brain but the overbearing AI running the assisted living apartments with Aiden (Foxtrot) somehow normal and adjusted (you cannot get me to say that man will ever be well adjusted). His friend is potentially still alive and he's not fighting for his life, it's Graham's turn.

Kingfisher (Now Del Sol) Apartments are a great place to lay low and recuperate while being mother-henned and treated like a feral cat receiving kindness for the first time. I think Graham will revert to be more Miller-like and panic on the job while Kingfisher yells at him to get his shit together. Its not as calm and focused as Del Sol and is new to being in the meat.

I love how these older auto transmission shifters work compared to later models.

95 Honda Del Sol (left), 98 Subaru LGT (right). (Genuine Momo shift knobs on both.)

(From the Del Sol owner's manual) You can easily shift these like a manual because the shifter moves in a straight line, not a dumb zigzag. Makes it more fun too. Essentially works like a sequential 4 speed transmission.

Don't hate on automatics you jerks, our pedals can be to the floor while shifting. No chance of missing a gear, lol. 🍻
