Planning the week ahead
So I’m struggling with the change of season which is impacting my motivation and I also think I’m feeling a bit fatigued. (Tricky to tell as this might just be that change of season funk).
So I’ve decided to take a deload week this week on the weight training, which means 50% reduction in volume and 10% drop in the weights lifted. BUT… I’m not going to adjust the calories to be back into maintenance, and will continue with the cutting calories.
Next week I will evaluate how this week went. But I think I will take a diet break week next week, and of course go back to the normal weight training sessions.
Hopefully this will snap me out of the change of season funk, get me acclimatised to the new weather, have me fired up again AND keep making progress.
That’s the plan anyway. Let’s see what happens.

Planning to take a deload....
I've had a great time being off work since the 22nd, but when I go back tomorrow it's gonna be crazy busy and stressful.
I've also been accumulating injuries (right leg, left elbow, right shoulder, in order of appearance), and I want them to be healed by the time we go skiing in a month's time (!!!!).
And the final straw is the January influx of new people at the already over subscribed gym I go to during peak hours that I'm expecting to start next week.
So I'm planning to take a week off. I did a full body day today, and I'm gonna resist coming back until at least the weekend. I might train a little at home. But I'm gonna need to put more hours into my job this week and I should rest my body too. I injected 0.52ml today, aiming for 0.5. No point in having any extra as I'm not planning to train.

the idea that people think about me outside of when i am in their direct field of vision (and by extension the things i create) is like. baffling to me sometimes. my friend was like “yeah my other friend and i were talking about you and she wants to hang out” and i was like ???? me??? of all people???. most of my dnd group picked my character to save (he’s the youngest of the party) and i was like. gobsmacked. you think about me and my guy??? what???

I'm taking my first week off from exercise (excluding my recovery from surgery and bizarre two month illness), and it's because of an injury lmfao. Does this count as a week off or is it mandatory rest?
#NOTE: i do a deload week starting from right before until right after my period#so it's not like i dont work in rest#i also have 2 rest days every week (nonconsecutive) and two half days due to my residual fatigue#(which may be from the illness but who fucking knows. i need to see an endocrinologist bc no one else has been able to help me yet)#(i would say that it could be poor nutrition but my blood tests have all been fine aside from my wbc#which was always a little high. probably bc of my allergies but apparently it could also be due to the tooth that i need#a crown on lmfao#might have to get it removeeeedddddd!! <<this all happened bc of covid. a filling from my dogshit old dentist popped out right#before everything closed#and none of the dentists around me were taking new patients#then after i finally got a root canal i couldnt get a crown bc of reasons im not getting into so i dont accidentally doxx myself lol#and now another fillung from my old dogshit dentist popped out and i had to wait 2 years to get it filled#and a third filling from my dogshit dentist popped out and i had to wait a year to get it filled#so i might have to get ANOTHER root canal -_-#this is what i get for not taking care of myself due to 10 years of horrible depression#but im getting my teeth fixed and a cleaning#so i should get a nice reset!#i wont be able to.fix the damage done to my gums already but ive been diligent in brushing and flossing for the past 2 years#and i started showering regularly since last summer!! and even more often during summer months!!!!! so I'm doing great :D)

Ugh my muscles hurt I was literally hearing such a lazy day I didn't eat enough 😮💨 it's okay it's actually oddly easier to hit my macros when I'm working lol. Plus I just take two shakers with me and I'm good. I'll be fine again tmo

Got my leg day deload week session in.
Changed up how I am having my protein shake and tried to make a protein hot chocolate type drink (with added tumeric and other spices).
It tasted nice but the whey clumped up in the hot milk which kind of brought down the experience.
