The Matrix of Destiny
Tumblr media
Hi sweeties! Hope you're doing okay. This time, I'm gonna get into a completely another topic I used to do. I want to make a post about the Matrix of Destiny and how to read this chart. It's a little bit similar as an astrological natal chart, but there's also a huge differences there. We're gonna get into that in this post. I'm gonna use my own Matrix of Destiny chart as an example.
The Matrix of Destiny is a method or a tool in esoteric practices where we can analyze and understand someone's individual life, personality, destiny, love life, career path, karma, talents etc. It isn't based on astrology, it's rather based on numerology and tarot cards from Major Arcana. There's 22 tarot cards overall in Major Arcana and they go in this order:
1 - The Magician
2 - The High Priestess
3 - The Empress
4 - The Emperor
5 - The Hierophant
6 - The Lovers
7 - The Chariot
8 - Justice
9 - The Hermit
10 - Wheel of Fortune
11 - Strength
12 - The Hanged Man
13 - Death
14 - Temperance
15 - The Devil
16 - The Tower
17 - The Star
18 - The Moon
19 - The Sun
20 - Judgement
21 - The World
22 - The Fool
If someone was born on 23rd, 24th, 25th of month and on and on, then it's crucial to add the numbers into one digit, so we get numbers such as 5, 6, 7 etc., because the numbers don't go further than 22 in the context of the Matrix of Destiny.
Now, I'm going to explain what the certain position of the Matrix of Destiny chart means.
The Center: A number at the center of a Destiny Matrix chart represents our overall personality and it's our most important number/arcana. It's also related to our comfort zone as well.
The Left Side: This number represents our external world, our first impression, presence and how people perceive us. It can also mean how people see us when they meet us for the very first time.
The Right Side: The number at the right side represents our internal world, our private life, our relationships. This part of a chart can give insight how we interact with our closest people
The Bottom Side: This part of a chart can represent our karmic tale and our past life experiences. It tells us about the side of us that we need to release in this incarnation, otherwise we'll be punished.
The Upper Side: This number represents our inherent talents, abilities and something we're naturally good at. It's about our gifts that we should share in order to achieve success in any area of life.
The Heart Sign: The number close to this sign or emoji shows what we should seek for our partner. It represents the personality of our partner and our love life.
The Dollar Sign: This number tells us about out career path and our professional life. It shows us which career is the most suitable for us in general.
Tumblr media
While analyzing the Matrix of Destiny chart, it's essential to take a look on the state of our chakras. Each chakra has two numbers in it and one overall number and means several things.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara): our spiritual connection and mission
Third Eye Chakra (Ajna): how we use our intuition and its state*
Throat Chakra (Vissudha): our communication and writing style
Heart Chakra (Anahata): our heart's desire, what we love to do
Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura): our power and confidence style
Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana): how we use our creativity
Root Chakra (Muladhara): our foundation, ancestors and stability
Summary: our life path and the balanced perspective of our life
*This text was supposed to be dark blue colored, but I couldn't put a dark blue color, so I put pink color as the alternative version.
Tumblr media
This is what you're going to see at the end of the Destiny Matrix chart. I'm gonna explain what does all it mean.
Male Generation Lines: gifts and karma from our father's side
Female Generation Lines: gifts and karma from our mother's side
Soul Searching: our life purpose at the earlier stage of our life (mine is 14)
Socialization: our life purpose at the later stage of our life (mine is 19)
Summary: our overall life purpose (mine is 33/6)
Anyway, that's all for today. If you have some questions about this topic, drop them on the comment section and I will answer that. This is just an intro of what the Matrix of Destiny is. Hope it's understandable. Overall, have a beautiful day ahead.
Best regards,
Paky McGee

Women aren't dating the men who hate women. Why the fuck is this a problem? Oh right because men still feel entitled to sex and will take their hatred out on random women.
By Rebekah Scanlan April 20, 2025
There are over 330,000 more women than men in Australia – but despite the dating pool inequity, there’s a growing number of single guys women will never pursue.
These undatable men are those who subscribe to the “red pill” notion, an alarming subculture that perpetuates a societal hatred against women by opposing feminist narratives and emphasising traditional gender roles.
The term originates from the 1999 film ‘The Matrix’, where the lead character is offered a choice between a red pill and a blue pill. The red pill symbolizes awakening to harsh realities, while the blue pill represents remaining happy, but ignorant.

Men’s rights activism have taken the “red pill” concept to represent a similar awakening to what they perceive as the true nature of society and gender relations.
These modern misogynists often come together online in a virtual space dubbed the “manosphere”, a collective of various digital communities promoting warped views on masculinity.
People found within the manosphere include men’s rights activists and incels, a group of heterosexual men who blame women and society for their lack of romantic success and who openly admit to “loathing” women for not sleeping with them.
While its easy to brush off the rise of mainstream misogyny as internet fodder, or a sensationalized storyline from a TV show, data shows it’s seeping into every corner of culture, from social media feeds to Aussie classrooms.
The disturbing rise in troubled men is something “Australians should be worried about”, warns Tarang Chawla, a vocal advocate for gender equality and an anti-violence campaigner.
“The rise of red pill culture and manosphere thinking isn’t just edgy internet banter – it’s leading to real-world harm,” he told news.com.au.
“At its core, it frames gender equality as this kind of threat and paints women as either being manipulative or lesser.
Tumblr media

“The rise of red pill culture and manosphere thinking isn’t just edgy internet banter – it’s leading to real-world harm,” Tarang Chawla, a vocal advocate for gender equality following the death of his sister, said “This normalizes misogyny and creates this culture where violence against women is excused, minimized, or even justified. Australians should be concerned.”
Chawla, whose sister Nikita was just 23 years old when her husband murdered her in a jealous rage in 2015, added that these “distorted” beliefs create a “dangerous” space for women to exist in.
“The idea that men are universally oppressed or that women only pursue wealthier men or a certain kind of man reinforces this toxic, adversarial view of gender that is pitting people against each other,” he said.
“When some men feel entitled to women’s attention but believe they’re being denied it due to a ‘rigged system,’ resentment builds.
And resentment, when mixed with entitlement and dehumanization, becomes a risk factor for violence.”
But while these groups grow and spread vitriol, women are using the internet to warn each other: “Beware of the red pill guy.”
One feminist social media user who dedicates her page to calling out male content creators spewing red pill ideology recently captioned one of her clips, “Don’t date or take relationship advice from these males”.
Others are sharing the moment they realized their other half had “swallowed the red pill”, with many revealing it caused the relationship to come to an end.
“These red pill guys have gotten out of hand,” one shared in an emotional video.
But who are these men and how can women spot them?
Melbourne psychologist Carly Dober said research shows some men are more “vulnerable” to the harmful ideology than others.
“Systemically, some young men feel they are being culturally left behind academically and professionally, with wages and jobs not as easy to access and the typical markers of adulthood (home ownership and procreation) more difficult or impossible to access compared to previous generations,” she told news.com.au.
"The idea that men are universally oppressed or that women only pursue wealthier men or a certain kind of man reinforces this toxic, adversarial view of gender that is pitting people against each other,” Chawla said.Getty Images/iStockphoto
“Women also have far more agency than previous generations and are educated, employed, and have more choice with how they spend their lives.
"The messaging from these red pilled communities often ignores systemic drivers of inequality and seduces men with simple but incorrect answers to these complex issues.
“Some men also already endorse antifeminism and anti-equality messaging and behavior, so this community can be a logical next move for them.”
Chawla, who recently became the safety advocate for popular dating app Bumble, said that even though the number of men subscribing to extreme misogyny ideology is on the rise – singles overwhelmingly want to date with consideration.
“96 percent of Gen Z want a respectful dating experience, and 95 percent believe dating apps should be taking action against bad behavior before it even starts,” he explained.
“That should tell us everything we need to know, people are actively seeking safer, more values-aligned spaces to connect.”
However, he said we can’t ignore that there is a “disconnect that is eroding trust”.
“Ask women, and they’ll tell you – they’ve met these men. They’ve dated them. They’ve blocked them.
“By pretending this is rare, we dismiss women’s experiences and ignore how widespread these beliefs have become, especially online. It’s leading to a breakdown in trust, where many women feel like they have to be on guard, even in romantic contexts.”
Ms Dober, who owns Melbourne’s Enriching Lives Psychology clinic, added: “This ideology is harmful to all of us, including men. Violating traditional masculinity norms can lead men to experience more depression and suicide, and this ideology needs to be seen as extreme and stamped out.”

Decorative Sunday
English designer Marthe Armitage (b. 1930) made a successful career of designing and manufacturing decorative wallpaper originally from handmade linocuts. Her designs have been featured in exhibitions, films, and documentaries. After studying at the Chelsea School of Art, Armitage began designing and hand printing linocut wallpaper designs in the 1950s. Her techniques moved to lithography, offset, and finally after 2018 to digital processes. The images shown her, including three original linocuts, are from her article "Patterns from Lino" in Matrix 11, Winter 1991, pp. 81-89, in which Armitage discusses her practice, evolutions in her methods, and her homage to William Morris. Today she is represented by the wallpaper design company Hamilton Weston. Armitage is a member and a former Master of the venerable Art Workers' Guild, which had its origins in the late 19th-century Arts and Crafts Movement.

The other side
Multiple screens illuminated Annika's face. Rays reflected in a sparkling pattern off her dark violet uniform. Information encoded in sounds played over heavy headphones — data streamed directly into her brain. Blank eyes tracked message after message. Confirmations of different targets accepting the offer.
Drool dripped down her lips as silent jolts of pleasure filled her body. Her thighs squeezed rhythmically. Her nipples stood erect under her tight clothes. A faint smile decorated her face. The only sign of the intense bliss she experienced.
Annika's hands brushed over different keyboards in artificial motions. The movements weren't hers. She merely executed commands. A mindless drone that received pleasure as a reward for obedience. She wasn't conscious of the work. She didn't know how many people she enslaved, or how they were found. She was nothing but an interface for HEXBIM, a relay of data and information.
The next in a long chain of mindless workers. One of the countless drones in a vast network. An organic computer.
She received another confirmation. Again she registered the new drone, sent the coordinates, and received an affirmation. In return, she felt a small rush of pleasure surge through her.
A message from central processing interrupted her. An update for her arrived. Thick open lips stretched into a smile. Her tongue darted over her lips. She shivered with anticipation. New instructions filled her mind and her eyes closed.
🌀🌀🌀
Annika stood in the center of a room filled with whirring machines. Bubbly words caught her attention.
"Hello and welcome back! I am so proud of you Annika."
The voice belonged to Anna — the very interface that inducted Annika.
"You are a loyal and obedient HEXBIM drone. Your service to HEXBIM is a success and the results are amazing."
Anna's glossy black hands caressed Annika's violet uniform. Her fingers traced over Annika's shoulders to her arms.
Annika shivered with delight as Anna's hands slid to her waist, hips, and finally stopped on the sides of her ass.
"Your mental image has also progressed nicely. No more individuality. Only HEXBIM conformity." Anna purred in Annika's ear, sending chills down her spine and a tingle to her crotch. "Your mind is now thoroughly reprogrammed. That means you are no longer in need of your old designation."
A burst of pleasure and arousal shot through Annika. She gasped and her hips bucked as a jolt of electricity rushed from her clit and spread throughout her body.
"Now, let's update your operating system." Anna snapped her fingers, something Annika still remembered as impossible. From the ceiling shot down a helmet. Quickly it encased Annika's head. The screen lit up with swirling patterns and a message scrolled across.
<HEXBIM Upgrade Protocol initiated. Subject designation: R-155921-32>
The screens flickered with instructions. The helmet flashed with bright patterns. A gentle buzz accompanied every flash of light, every sound of static, and every flickering image.
Annika moaned with delight as pleasure flooded her.
<Update identity matrix. Acknowledge new designation R-155291-32.>
A new designation for a new life. A meaningless combination of symbols and digits that replaced her name. She acknowledged the change. Annika was gone, erased from the world, wiped away.
<R-155291-32, acknowledge your designation>
"Yes, I am R-155921-32." The words left her lips and sent a tingles over her skin.
<R-155921-32. Your purpose is to obey, follow, serve and spread HEXBIM>
The screens lit up with a sequence of words.
<OBEY>
<FOLLOW>
<SERVE>
<SPREAD>
"I exist to obey, follow, serve and spread HEXBIM."
Something slivered through her ears into her head. She gasped. Bliss shot through her body. Something crawled into her mind. Her fingers twitched. Her knees gave out and she collapsed to the floor. The helmet's screens lit up and flashed with one intricate pattern. The HEXBIM logo suppressed anything else inside her.
Clamps pressed down on R-155921-32's arms and legs. Electricity flowed through them — molding them into new shapes. She shivered with intense pleasure, unable to do anything but obey and serve. A long needle slid out of the ceiling and plunged into her chest. She screamed and her body arched with intense bliss.
R-155921-32's chest tingled and pulsed. It felt good. So good! Her eyes rolled back as a wave of euphoria crashed through her.
Her breasts swelled. They strained against the material. Her uniform stretched taut around her growing mounds. Her nipples stood erect, pressing against it. She panted and moaned. The pressure on her nipples caused a cascade of rapture. Her clit throbbed and pulsed between her thighs.
<Mental adjustments finished. New personality matrix installed. Stand at attention.>
The clamps on R-155921-32 released. She obeyed without a second thought, her chest swaying as she moved. Her uniform bulged, straining to keep the newly enhanced globes contained.
Her eyes tracked to Anna's face, watching the interface with a glazed look. Her lips were parted slightly. She panted, aching to be used, eager to spread HEXBIM. She felt so empty and needy. Her cunt throbbed, and she could barely think of anything else.
Her hands rose up and cupped her swollen breasts, squeezing them gently and moaning as her palms rubbed against her sensitive nipples.
"Oh you have taken to the update nicely. Now it's time to return to your body R-155921-32. Their is a surprise waiting," Anna purred in her ear and then kissed it. She gave the tip of it a playful lick and nibble. "Standby off, little drone."
🌀🌀🌀
R-155921-32 woke up. Her diagnostics cataloged her physical status. Massive breasts were connected to the local reward system. Mechanical arms connected to her hands — fingers controlled artificial appendages that moved with perfect precision over keyboards. A multitude of cameras connected to her visuals — allowing it to process every incoming message simultaneously. Her mind was partitioned. The pleasure from her new breasts stimulated a small portion of her mind, while the rest was a cold calculating machine.
She processed new conversions when a data stream interrupted the work. Without any prompt every single device disconnected. R-155921-32 had been chosen for relief duty. It was a special privilege for loyal HEXBIM drones. She stood and felt how her heavy chest pressed into the purple harness — a small part still remembered a time when they were less voluminous. Her hips swayed as she walked. Between her legs pulsed desire and anticipation.

დ࿐ ‎˗ˋ "The Last Shadow" Article Series (Underground Publication)
a rogue journalist known only as "Cipher" has been releasing a series of exposé articles under the title "The Last Shadow," chronicling GreyRaven’s actions, ideology, and conflicts with corporate control. these articles are released in encrypted digital formats, often sent directly to underground data hubs or printed in small runs of pamphlets that circulate discreetly in Neovista's alternative districts.
✧ 𓂃 › the content of the articles is largely sympathetic, casting GreyRaven as vigilantes fighting against an oppressive, surveillance-heavy system. cipher's work portrays them as saviors to those who have been failed by official forces, while simultaneously cautioning readers about the price of freedom they’re offering—chaos, danger, and the destabilization of the already fragile order.
✧ 𓂃 › specialized publications, such as GlitchPoint (an underground tech journal), often publish leaked data from GreyRaven’s missions. they publish hacked corporate secrets, political manipulations, and show the true cost of corporate power in their city. the leaks often come directly from JYNX, a mysterious figure who seems to trade in secrets, and often provides cryptic advice on how to access certain hidden areas of Neovista's vast black-market network.
დ࿐ ‎˗ˋ Viral Coverage of GreyRaven's Operations
every major GreyRaven operation causes a viral stir in the rogue media landscape. whether it's an elaborate data hack of Orbis’ central AI node or the assassination of a corrupt corporate executive, rogue journalists covering these events in real-time often paint GreyRaven as Robin Hood figures, showing off their tactical brilliance and brutal efficiency.
✧ 𓂃 › the digital media arm of the resistance—groups like Hacktivists Unite—push the boundaries of digital freedom by sharing content that is designed to encourage public support for the syndicate. this content can range from video edits showing GreyRaven’s close combat efficiency to animated clips dramatizing their urban guerrilla tactics in symbolic, stylized ways.
✧ 𓂃 › doxxed leaks. some members of Virelia’s elite—and even powerful corporate leaders—have had their personal data released by rogue journalists. this not only jeopardizes their safety but also sends a loud message about the power and reach of GreyRaven. it's these kinds of leaks that lead to the paranoia in corporate leadership, with even the most powerful fearing the long arm of GreyRaven.

What was it like when games had "Replay Value" and "Fun Factor"? Why are games today designed to have "'Neverending Play'" and "Salt Factor"?
Tumblr media
Games have been pretty much dogshit since they stopped prioritizing "Fun Factor"...
But yeah, it just wasn't as viable to try and hold players in years-long compulsion loops before widespread online functionality and the design/business practices that this enabled: patching, microtransactions, GaaS/Gatcha structures etc. It's not that this wasn't always the desired outcome- the industry even in its nascency attempted to monetize "Neverending Play" with arcades and the design philosophies that formed around coin-based play- only the overhead cost was far greater and the potential for direct profit piddling compared to modern practices. Even MMOs required a relatively large investment in digital infrastructure that ensured only a few could achieve long-term sustainability- Gatcha games similarly come and go every quarter, but the buy-in is a fraction of whatever it took to get The Matrix Online off the ground.
"Replay Value" meanwhile found joint expression with "Neverending Play" in the Roguelike genre. This is critically one of the few pathways to commercial success for indies that lack access to massive digital infrastructures or lucrative IPs- a way of suggesting hundreds of hours of compulsive play (notice how often the phrase "gameplay loop" is deployed to describe specifically player compulsion cycles) with a relatively modest asset base. The same ethos of variety-within-scarcity underlines the popularity of deck-building mechanics and makes their inclusion attractive to developers forced to appease arbitrary ideas of hour-to-dollar value, to slip past the refund window on Steam etc.
Sorry if this was a more serious reply then was merited, but the gaming industry is just a constellation of profoundly evil business practices and the modern notion of the "forever game" (i.e. a single piece of software that extracts attention and capital from an audience in perpetuity) is one of its supreme expressions. It would be good if the earth opened her mouth and swallowed the entire Embracer Group executive suite tomorrow.

Concours de Femmes: Our Dirty Secret
There's a particular facet of womanhood and girlhood that I find to be barely talked about, usually only briefly mentioned in feminist discourse - the competition between women, and beauty standards as a means to even be accepted by other women. I feel like "the competition" (as I will now be referring to it) takes up such a large space within women's lives, and I would argue even more so than the approval and acceptance of men, such a large space that we have barely known alternatives, or what the lack of the competition could look like.
Mainstream feminist discourse often centers around the general idea that "women do not do [xyz] to please men!" - often referring to makeup, cosmetic surgery, and other aesthetic rituals. In reality, in many instances, it genuinely is partially for men, but I will argue that it is mostly for the approval of other women. Women want other women to be jealous of them. Women are in a constant competition to be the most desirable, the most fuckable, and on top of it all, we are in a competition to see who can pretend as though we are not even aware of the mere existence of the competition, who can convince other women that they are the most -effortlessly- desirable and fuckable. Because if you fit a certain beauty standard that traditionally fits what is called the "male gaze", then you also fit in with other women that are in the same place in "the competition" as you.
Mainstream feminist discourse too often focuses on what we, feminists, can do about men, when we, women, are just as wounded by our patriarchal matrix and heteronormative delusions. It is rarely discussed that women will go through lengths of extreme aesthetic alterations (nose jobs, BBLs, lip injections, and whatever else is popular right now) not only to fit the male gaze and feel that euphoric rush of male approval, but also to be accepted by groups of women, to fit into the "pretty" group, for other women to perceive you as competitor. Because ironically, it happens quite often where the more you are seen as competition, the more the competition want to be friends with you. Society loves a group of pretty women. Think of the Kardashians, the Real Housewives, the appeal of sorority culture, and think about how reality shows about groups of pretty women are often solely based around the competition between each other. Because the truth is, we (as a whole) have been conditioned to find entertainment in a "catfight", we're all perverts, eyes and ears glued to the objectified gaggle of women claiming to be "best friends" as they jump through hoops to see who can be the most successful in fame, desirability, money, and often intellect as well. We secretly want them to fail; we have been trained to secretly want our own friends to fail as well.
In terms of desirability, I will speak on personal experience when I say that in adolescence into young adulthood, most girls do not actually want to have sex, especially not with the partners that they usually "choose" in adolescence (I use the term choose very loosely. I actually think young girls often get tricked into thinking they have full control in their choices). No, rather, they would like to be desirable, fuckable. Not only that, but they would especially like to tell their friends about how desirable they are via tales of sexual and romantic (mostly sexual) exploits with boys. Sexual gossip is a very important bonding factor in friendships between girls and young women, and I will argue that for some it is one of the largest reasons why many will partake in our current zeitgeist's soulless digitalized hookup culture.
In high school, I was fascinated and intrigued to hear about the sexual adventures of my girl friends, not only because I had none, but also because none of these stories were positive. They made me sick to my stomach. Stories of boys who refused protection, stories of boys who coerced girls into anal sex, stories of dry, painful penetration, stories of boys getting girls too drunk or stoned to consent. And the girls? Too often did they tell me these stories with a proud smile on their face, thinking that it was funny, not a big deal. I think when you're young you thirst for experience whether it is good or bad. You want stories. You want to be interesting. You're definitely more interesting than your prudish and awkward friend (me). They liked it when I freaked out about these stories. They would reassure me that it wasn't a big deal, as if they were telling me that I will experience it one day, because they think every girl does, and that's just how it is. They liked feeling older, more mature and more experienced than me. They liked when I pried them about their sexual experiences in detail. I only pried because I wondered if they'd get to a point where they really heard themselves, and the words they were saying to me. I don't think anyone's really having any great sex in high school, and everyone was trying to convince everyone else that they were having great sex.
I feel for these girls. I feel for my sixteen year old self that secretly envied these girls. I acted shocked to them as they told me of these traumatic events with a smile on their faces, having read Germaine Greer and De Beauvoir, trying to explain to them why they deserve to be treated better, and how male validation is not worth it. They simply thought I was a silly virgin who did not understand. I secretly wished to have just not thought about these things. Back then I thought things would be so much easier, simpler, if I just let myself be treated that way. I would feel more loved. I would feel closer to my friends. I'd have some really "fun" stories to tell. I felt alienated from my friends because I couldn't relate. Back then I convinced people around me that I was not so lonely. That I didn't see a point in relationships, that I was too busy to bother with them (busy with what?? Algebra 1? Who was I fooling...). That I wasn't so interested in sex. I wanted to act like I was above sex and love (or what high schoolers thought love was). I even identified as asexual and later, gay, for some of this time because I felt so alienated from the adolescent rehearsal of heterosexual sex and love.
But that doesn't mean that I was above an interest in boys - especially platonically. I think I have noticed (as well as perpetrated) women and girls not only competing for sexual and romantic desirability in the eyes of men, but also platonic desirability (which in reality is often just hidden sexual desire because straight men and women often cannot fathom of pure platonic relationships between each other). An example of this is women having a complex, often encouraged by men, that they are "one of the boys". Women saying things like "I just get along better with guys", feeling a sort of competition to see who can have the most male friends. Women can be guilty of valuing men and male friendships over women, just as men can. Men often don't view women as -full people-, and maybe, just maybe, many women subconsciously feel this way too.
Don't get me wrong, I am definitely still trying to shake out of being entrapped within the competition. I think we all are, especially recently. But it's hard when one is surrounded solely by people who are perpetuating the competition further, when one is trapped. I get that. This post is definitely not to bash other women and girls for perpetuating the competition in any way. I was and probably always will be entrapped in the competition in one way or another. We women are all traumatized, brainwashed to romanticize that trauma, and brainwashed to compete in who has more of it, because -trauma makes you interesting-. I think it's getting better, I really do, but that might also be my experience from the people I choose to surround myself with and love. Sometimes I find myself talking with a girl who I would not normally talk to, and find myself back in high school again, prudish as she is beaming with tragedy.
I think when women live in more privileged societies in terms of gender equality (I mean as in, women who are not forced into marriages, are able to access education, etc.), internalized misogyny is just as important of an issue to address as the everyday misogynies of men. It is too often that men pit women against each other, especially explicitly, and women will agree and be complicit to it. It starts with recognizing the misogynies. It starts with analyzing why you -really hate that girl you have never talked to-. It starts with recognizing the difference in how you act around men versus around women.
Simply saying empty phrases like "girl power!" and "women need to stick together!" means nothing when we merely have an illusion of power and unity in groups of women, because due to internalized misogyny and the competition, what should be a "safe space" is filled with re-enforcers of our own oppression. Women often don't even feel safe in groups of other women, because within every woman is a little misogynist speaking in our ear. It starts with the slow and painful killing of that prick, who has been with you since you learned to speak, and has controlled your speech ever since.

'This city is like a parody of the sorts of novels I used to read when I was younger' - The Literalisation of Cyberpunk's Digital Unreality
youtube
i've been rewatching Psycho Pass with the gf recently and something really jumped out at me during Makishima and Choe's conversation in episode 15, just before they set out to Nona Tower. Makishima compares Psycho Pass' vision of Japan to the works of a few different 20th century SFF authors, Gibson, Orwell, and Dick, eventually concluding that it most closely resembles a Philip K. Dick novel. obviously part of this is just the show wearing its influences on its sleeve, but what fascinates me about this interaction is the specific wording of "this city is like a parody of the sorts of novels i used to read when i was younger". intentional or not, i think something about that line gets at a quiet, fundamental shift that's happened in cyberpunk media since its inception, as a direct result of the genre's impact on the world.
reading old cyberpunk fiction, one thing that becomes clear is that a world mediated through a layer of digital unreality was often used as a shorthand for the layer of psychic unreality imposed on society by capitalism. the classical example of this is of course The Matrix, but it's just as often employed less as total-immersion VR and more as just, a world where digital technology runs through every part of our lives. i think this is especially noticeable in Gibson's stuff, particularly The Winter Market (in which the protaganist's tentative connection with another sputters and dies as her personality gradually leaves the real world and is uploaded into cyberspace) and Dogfight (in which a man with nothing becomes so obsessed with the cheap high of digital success that he destroys everyone around him). so much early cyberpunk is about being blind to the people around you because you can't tell what's real and what's software anymore. the software follows laws and logic disconnected from reality, and yet you have to immerse yourself in it to survive, even if you know it's wrong. splitting your attention between the real world and the digital exerts a mental strain that often causes characters to snap.
silicone valley tech geniuses saw this devastatingly effective metaphor for the dehumanisation and alienation of capitalism (as evidenced by their constant, pathetic invoking of classic sci-fi and cyberpunk that they've read in their public personas) and instead of recognising it for what it was, rushed to make that metaphor literal because, read superficially, those stories present a digital world as the aesthetic of "the future". this is why tech bros are constantly creating the Torment Nexus from hit novel Don't Create The Torment Nexus. they can't understand that the Torment Nexus, or whatever other nightmarish hypothetical technology, could ever mean something beyond its literal application in-fiction, that it might have been saying something about its contemporary social context, and so don't realise that they're creating systems that, as a direct result of their inspiration, are doomed from first principles to reinforce the worst excesses of capitalism. i say this not to excuse these freaks, but merely to highlight the systemic incentives that lead them to do all the evil shit they do.
while the metaverse might seem the logical culmination of this mindset, i think ai art is the true final form of this kind of intellectual rot. the desire to unroot art from reality entirely, to drag it with them into the sea of software so that it's all just datapoints and averages, is something that i think a lot of people find so immediately and viscerally disgusting because on some level they recognise that this is an impulse founded entirely in the logic of the software, the ideology, not reality. the people dickriding this tech don't get that something can be within a piece of art beyond aesthetics, that a dystopian world fully mitigated by digital interactions can be anything other than a cool aesthetic for the future, that people love art because through it you feel some measure of the artist's touch and understand something about how they see the world.
and yet, for now, it seems that these people have won. they've mostly imposed a literal simulacrum of a metaphorical manifestation of psychic torment and misery on those of us living in the imperial core. the corporate internet is the unreal layer of digital reality made real, systems that mediate a staggering volume of communication between people within the core, even between people who know each other irl. and it extends beyond even this, to the computerised logic of late-stage capitalism, where untold suffering is inflicted on workers through layoffs and wage cuts to make lines go up, because a line going up is recognised as "good" within the system, and must be pursued at all costs. making the line go up is worth trashing the health of the economies and businesses which the line is nominally supposed to represent the health of. this logic is pervasive, and endemic to the chaotic decline we're currently living through.
this is where i circle back around to Psycho Pass. in 2013, at the time of the show's release, the internet was rapidly becoming an unavoidable part of daily life, a process which has only sped up since then. cyberpunk media has been caught in a grimly ironic position where its metaphorical concerns have been literalised; the world it commentates on has become, as Makishima put it, a parody, built off of wonky, incomplete misunderstandings of 20th century sci fi and cyberpunk in particular. Psycho Pass even responds to this idea in some ways, especially through its use of holograms; the very first scene in the show, that iconic flash-forward to episode 16, takes care to show the camera swooping through a building that is entirely holographic, while the show focuses on the dead, insubstantial aspects of the holo-interiors of buildings (shoutout to the gf for clocking that one). Makishima, who to be clear is a character whose flaws i could talk about for days, is nevertheless compelling when he talks about craving a book's "familiar smell of pulp and glue", the unique way in which a physical book "stimulates your senses", even if it technically has all the same words as an ebook. the fictional, digital representation of the psychic insubstantiality and contradiction of capitalist ideology has begun to seep out and infect the material world. this trend has even continued in the show's wake; for a show released a decade before LLMs were rebranded into "AI", the revelation of how the Sybil System actually works seems eerily prescient, right down to the deliberate obfuscation of the obviously biased human training data behind a rhetorical shield of passionless, objective artificial intelligence, something that at the time of release was almost certainly instead intended to be a commentary on the bogus claims of impartiality made by the criminal justice system.
there's something uniquely bleak about this process, especially as it intertwines with the unrelenting war that has been waged on academia and the humanities in particular over the past few decades. STEM is good and valuable, but the way it's rhetorically deployed by policymakers and elites as a bludgeon against the humanities is probably at least somewhat related to a generation of those elites' kids watching The Matrix and deciding that the biggest thematic takeaway is that they should become silicone valley investors and make that technology real.
with all of that being said, while it's often been observed that one of the greatest strengths of capitalism is its ability to hollow out and then incorporate criticisms that are levelled against it, in this case, i think there's a world where the results of that process end up being self-defeating. after all, part of the reason digital unreality was such a compelling concept thematically was that it laid bare the contradictions and tensions of capitalism in an extremely obvious and easy to understand way. making that into a real thing that millions and millions of people have to use every single day has, i think, already started to cause major problems, for example as politicians here in the UK slip completely into the digital layer of unreality, captured by a war over the ideological affections of a small minority of extremists on social media (TERFs, Nazis, pro-Israeli cheerleaders, 15 minute city conspiracy theorists, opinion columnists, etc), the disconnect from reality leaves an incredibly obvious vacuum that allows the increasingly poor, sick, and repressed general population to see exactly the ways that this system works against their interests. anecdotally, i do believe there is a palpable sense of exhaustion even from normies with the way that technology has been used to make everything shittier, and the strain that causes is becoming ever more visible to the naked eye.

"DMT_50," digital, May 22, 2024, Reginald Brooks
DMT = Divisor (Factor) Matrix Table
So that one might be aware -- and perhaps intrigued -- by its derivation, I have emphasized that the DMT is composed by the sequential doubling of the ODDs Axis, starting with Column 1: 1-3-5..., or, one can start with TOP Row axis of the successive doubling -- starting with "1" -- that gives us the Butterfly Fractal 1 sequence of 1-2-4, increasing each subsequent Row by the product of multiplying Row 1 by the Column 1 ODDs value,
In other words, the DMT is a multiplication table -- but one with unique Axis values.
The simplicity defies the underlying order!
If we take a look at the *Running Sums (∑) of the Rows, and the ∑s of the Columns, yet another whole new world of connections and inter-connections arises. Call them "entanglements!"
*Running Sums (∑) are like your total current balance after any given deposit in your bank account. On the DMT it is done for each and every successive deposit. That is where the magic is!

This is an interesting time in the history of Social, on account of, the entire natural order undergirding our conception of social media has imploded and is taking our modern modes of engagement with it. (Which is to say, bearer bonds are paying interest again. Alas!)
It's a very 'open' moment in that way; there's a huge and well-known appetite for a specific kind of thing, but many of the existing systems designed to serve and exploit that appetite are in retreat. Big potential energy reservoirs with limited competition for resources! If you're feeling more poetic- the old world is dying, and the new world struggles to be born.
The challenge, of course, is how to be one of the more successful monsters during the transition. If you play your cards right, they name the new era after you, it's a cushy gig if you can get it.
Many of the initial successor-attempts are trying to learn the lessons of 2005-2020 by emphasizing open protocols; these are common to Bluesky and Mastadon for Twitter refugees, the Matrix protocol for Element and other successors to Discord, and so on. And that's probably one of the more important choices that really are being made right now, in real time. Open, or closed?
Without as much cash flowing through the system, megaprojects and monoliths will be much harder to sustain. That's not necessarily a bad thing! We've gotten used to high-stakes struggles, we're all tangled up with the fates of a small number of huge institutions. Which sucks, right? It brings out the worst in us. Whereas open standards, such as the protocols we achieved for the internet as a whole, make that fight much harder to have at all. It builds a world more ordered towards democratic sensibilities and mutual respect. But there's no easy way to achieve that kind of victory. It takes genius, and good luck, and wisdom, and money, and all the other things.
One of my favorite discoveries from Discord (and, in retrospect, the BBS era) is that I personally really like social environments with a sense of 'place' to them. In my favorite servers, I'll often just hop on an empty voice chat and see if anybody else hops on to say hi, as a way of nucleating conversation. People can come and go at leisure, like being in a particular circle of conversation at a party. It's genuinely like 'hanging out', in a way that can't be replicated by flat and wide platforms like Twitter and Facebook, which in the absence of 'place' become a sort of public-performance status competition by default. Boundaries between small communities often make the difference between being a guy and being a brand; even on Tumblr, it's really more the latter than the former even as we build a sort of proto-community with our mutuals.
When I imagine my sort of 'ideal internet of the future', I think it looks something like a more porous, discoverable, and interconnected Discord: individual mixed-media real-time communication platforms with a specific members list and some ad-hoc internal structure to order conversations. But unlike Discord, these servers could look like something 'on the outside' if they wanted to, capable (though not required) by design of something much like a webpage, including links to other such webpages and other forms of discoverability. Temporary visitors would have free access to any curated digital products of that community placed on the page (including rights to copy, but with attribution baked in to the file format), with a smooth and community-defined onboarding from 'visitor' to 'member' that would vary according to the needs of the community in question. A bit like wordpress, these pages would have basic templates for nontechnical users but give you full access to webdev tools if you wanted them; but they would also give users full control over the entire contents of the server iff the users wanted that level of control, up to and including migrating a server to a member's locally-owned machine. The real-time members-only guts of the server would of course be end-to-end encrypted, such that these communities would have real and meaningful self-ownership.
I kind of like this because it creates a very smooth gradient with "IRC chat room" on one end and "Just A Website" on the other, but with the ability to evolve smoothly between them in real time, and with a very easy 'entry point' for novices and normies that could gradually grow towards a professional programming/webdev level of expertise if interest grows. And there's plenty of room for 'open/flat' curation of content in the manner of traditional Facebooky and Twittery social media, but people would be interacting with it through the intermediary of this 'server' abstraction, which would hopefully blunt the worst of the evils- we'd be individuals in private communities, but fictive mini-institutions when exposed to the wider world. And that same functionality could be used for projects like the Internet Archives or AO3 that are oriented towards the preservation of sometimes controversial materials, as cultures and moderators in individual servers changed.

The Fusions
(5/25/24 Edited to include Annihilation and Lightspeed Aurora) (9/10/2024 Edited to include Remnant) (11/28/24 Edited for Project Thunder) (6/12/25 Edited because I realized the shit that went down with Zero in canon probably counts)
Explanation of how fusions work in the AU Here
Database
Introduced Here
Type: Linked/True (unclear which)
Components: Administrator/Moderator/Program/Virus
The Creator of the Digital Multiverse, composed of the first four Digital Beings to ever exist.
Matrix
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Chip/Bandwidth
Capable of True Fusion, but Chip and Bandwidth prefer Standard since it lets Matrix sort-of be his own person.
Antivirus
First appeared Here Properly Introduced Here Revealed to be a Fusion Here
Type: Failed
Components: Glitch/Red Doomguy
Formed while his components were literally dying, which resulted in some pretty significant differences from most Failed Fusions (and most Fusions in general).
Bit
Introduced Here
Type: Linked
Components: Domain/Forum/Juliano
Forced into being by Rogue Admin Cookie, which resulted in temporary amnesia.
Entropy the Collector
Introduced Here
Type: Failed
Components: unknown program and virus
Completely insane and proud of it.
Zer0
Type: Unknown, probably Linked
Components: Niles and SMG0
The end result of Niles' failed attempt to cure his instability and subsequent fall to madness. Mistakenly believed to have been a Virus by SMGs 1 and 2.
Eldritch Axol
Type: Unknown, probably Linked
Components: Niles, SMG0 and Axol
The end result of Zer0's Eye's possession of Axol in the Genesis Arc.
Network
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Abyssal/Overseer
Marggy
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Avatar Mario/Meggy Spletzer
The first successful, non-forced character-level code-based fusion (that we know of), made possible by Mario's unusually powerful Avatar code.
Annihilation
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Antivirus/Mira
Very fast, very strong, very angry. Didn't result in a Failed Fusion despite being between an Admin and a Virus due to Antivirus's unusual nature.
Lightspeed Aurora
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Twilight Sparkle/Rainbow Dash
Even though they're using Equestrian Magic instead of Code it technically counts since Twilight based her spell on observations of a code-based fusion. She cheated, basically.
Don't have any notes on the fusion herself yet, except that between Rainbow's usual flight capabilities and Twilight's Alicorn-level Pegasus Magic she definitely lives up to her first name.
Remnant
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Emulator/Manifest
Jumpman
Introduced Here
Type: Standard
Components: Mario/Luigi
Creation
Introduced Here
Type: True Fusion
Components: Emulator/The Gamer Girl
The second most powerful Fusion we've ever seen, after Database.

Escape the Matrix: Create Your Own Crypto and Memecoins to Break Free from the Rat Race
In today’s fast-paced world, many people feel trapped in the proverbial “matrix” of conventional work life — a never-ending grind where the promises of financial freedom and personal fulfillment seem elusive. If you find yourself yearning for a way out, creating your own cryptocurrency or memecoin tokens might be the key to escaping the rat race and paving the way to a brighter, more prosperous future. This blog will explore how you can break free from traditional financial constraints and take control of your financial destiny by delving into the world of crypto and memecoins.
Tumblr media
Understanding the Matrix and the Rat Race
Before we dive into how you can create your own crypto and memecoin tokens, it’s important to understand the matrix and the rat race. The matrix represents a system of control and conformity that often dictates our daily lives, while the rat race is the relentless pursuit of success and wealth through conventional means, often leading to burnout and dissatisfaction.
Breaking free from this cycle involves adopting new ways of thinking and exploring alternative financial opportunities. The cryptocurrency revolution offers a pathway to redefine your financial future, allowing you to step out of the traditional financial system and into a world of digital innovation.
The Rise of Cryptocurrencies and Memecoins
1. The Cryptocurrency Revolution
Cryptocurrencies have transformed the financial landscape by offering decentralized alternatives to traditional financial systems. Bitcoin, the first and most well-known cryptocurrency, introduced the concept of blockchain technology — a decentralized ledger that ensures transparency, security, and immutability.
Since Bitcoin’s inception, thousands of cryptocurrencies have emerged, each with unique features and use cases. Ethereum introduced smart contracts, enabling the creation of decentralized applications (dApps) and new tokens. The rise of cryptocurrencies has paved the way for individuals to create their own digital assets, offering opportunities for innovation and financial empowerment.
2. The Memecoin Phenomenon
Memecoins, on the other hand, represent a more playful and community-driven aspect of the cryptocurrency world. Born from internet memes and viral trends, memecoins often gain popularity through social media and online communities. Despite their origins as jokes or experiments, some memecoins have experienced significant price surges and garnered substantial attention.
Notable examples include Dogecoin, which started as a meme but has become a widely recognized cryptocurrency with a strong community backing. The success of memecoins highlights the power of community engagement and the potential for digital assets to capture public interest.
Creating Your Own Cryptocurrency
Creating your own cryptocurrency involves several key steps. Here’s a roadmap to help you get started:
1. Define Your Purpose and Goals
Before diving into the technical aspects, it’s essential to define the purpose and goals of your cryptocurrency. Consider the following questions:
What problem does your cryptocurrency aim to solve?
Who is your target audience?
How will your cryptocurrency differentiate itself from existing options?
Having a clear vision will guide the development process and help you create a compelling value proposition for your digital asset.
2. Choose the Right Blockchain Platform
Selecting the appropriate blockchain platform is crucial for the development of your cryptocurrency. Popular platforms include:
Ethereum: Known for its robust smart contract capabilities, Ethereum is a popular choice for creating custom tokens. Ethereum’s ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards provide a foundation for creating fungible and non-fungible tokens, respectively.
Binance Smart Chain (BSC): BSC offers low transaction fees and compatibility with Ethereum’s tools and infrastructure, making it an attractive option for new projects.
Solana: Renowned for its high throughput and low transaction costs, Solana is suitable for projects requiring scalability and speed.
Evaluate the features and benefits of each platform to determine which best aligns with your project’s needs.
3. Develop Your Cryptocurrency
Once you’ve chosen a blockchain platform, you can begin the development process. This involves creating the token’s smart contract, which defines its properties, such as total supply, distribution, and functionality.
For Ethereum-based tokens, you can use tools like Solidity (a programming language for smart contracts) and development environments like Remix or Truffle. If you’re using BSC or Solana, familiarize yourself with their respective development tools and languages.
4. Test and Deploy
Testing is a critical phase to ensure that your cryptocurrency functions as intended. Conduct thorough testing on testnets (blockchain networks used for testing purposes) to identify and resolve any issues before deploying your token on the mainnet.
Once testing is complete, you can deploy your cryptocurrency on the chosen blockchain platform. Ensure that all smart contract code is secure and has been audited to prevent vulnerabilities.
5. Market and Promote
Creating a cryptocurrency is only the beginning. Effective marketing and promotion are essential for gaining traction and attracting users. Develop a marketing strategy that includes:
Building a website and social media presence
Engaging with online communities and forums
Creating informative content and promotional materials
Leverage the power of social media and influencer partnerships to spread the word about your cryptocurrency and build a supportive community.
Creating Your Own Memecoin
Creating a memecoin follows a similar process to developing a standard cryptocurrency, with an emphasis on community engagement and viral potential. Here’s how to get started:
1. Embrace the Meme Culture
Memecoins thrive on internet culture and humor. To create a successful memecoin, embrace popular memes and viral trends. Consider how your memecoin can tap into existing online communities and trends to generate excitement.
2. Develop a Unique Concept
While memecoins often start as jokes, a unique concept or theme can help your token stand out. Create a compelling narrative or branding that resonates with your target audience and aligns with current meme trends.
3. Build a Community
Community is crucial for the success of a memecoin. Engage with potential users through social media platforms, online forums, and meme communities. Foster a sense of belonging and enthusiasm around your memecoin to drive interest and participation.
4. Launch and Promote
After developing and testing your memecoin, launch it on a blockchain platform and begin promoting it to your target audience. Utilize social media, memes, and viral marketing tactics to generate buzz and attract attention.
The Path to Financial Empowerment
Creating your own cryptocurrency or memecoin offers a unique opportunity to escape the rat race and take control of your financial future. By embracing the world of digital assets, you can potentially unlock new revenue streams, build innovative solutions, and connect with like-minded individuals.
However, it’s important to approach this venture with a clear vision, thorough planning, and a willingness to adapt to the dynamic nature of the cryptocurrency market. Success in the crypto world requires dedication, creativity, and a strategic mindset.
Conclusion
The journey to escaping the matrix and breaking free from the rat race can be transformative and empowering. By creating your own cryptocurrency or memecoin tokens, you can tap into the potential of digital assets and explore new avenues for financial growth and innovation.

"Like the things that once filled our world with beauty, the dreams we had for the future died."
TW1ST: 180° is the second extended play by South Korean girl group, TWIST. The album was released on May 5, 2017, through JYL Records. Consisting of nine songs, including the three singles, “Come Back Home”, “Triangle”, and “Overdose”. Musically, the album spans between R&B, hip hop, EDM, metal, and dance-pop. The group earned the title ‘self-produce’ group as all members have taken the lead in the album production. “Come Back Home” was written and composed by Chaeyoung and Hyerim, whereas “Overdose” was composed by Sohye and written by Hyerim. “Triangle” is the first track that contains credits from all the members, in which the live arrangement consisting of an electric guitar and violins were composed by Sohye and Chaeyoung, while the lyrics were written by Mina and Hyerim.
As a sequel to their first eponymous extended play, TW1ST, 180° was a commercial success. The album debuted atop the Gaon Albums Chart, with over 400,000 copies sold in the first week, with Twist breaking their own record for having the highest girl group first week album sales, which was previously held by the predecessor album known as TW1ST. By the end of 2017, 180° had sold over 700,000 copies, making Twist hold the top two selling girl group albums of the year.
The lead single, “Come Back Home”, debuted atop the Gaon Digital Chart with other 567,888 digital units sold in the first week of release. The song remained atop the chart for four consecutive weeks. The second single, “Overdose”, debuted at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart with 309,362 digital units sold. In the first week of June 2017, “Overdose” rose to the summit of the chart with a huge increase in sales after the group held a one-time performance at the Apollo Theater in New York City, leading the performance to gain popularity. “Overdose” topped the Gaon Digital Chart for seven consecutive weeks. Due to the sudden traction from the viral performance, “Overdose” peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100. The third single, “Triangle” peaked at number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of September 3, 2017.
For the album’s release, a special “TWIST Comeback Show”, hosted by a collaboration of Mnet and MTV, was broadcast live worldwide on May 6, 2017. The show consisted of performances from the following albums: TW1ST and 180°.
Promotions for the album focused primarily on South Korea and the United States. Twist were apart of the following lineups:
Dream Concert
SBS Super Concert
Incheon Korean Music Wave
American Music Awards
KCON NY
Tumblr media
TRACKLIST:
Crush
Like It
Bye Bye

Come Back Home
Overdose

ERA HIGHLIGHTS:
It was difficult to follow up to the release of TW1ST, the general public counted them out, but Twist came back FIGHTING!
Come Back Home topped all the real time charts, earning 50 perfect-all-kills.
Overdose was the REAL hit of the album! It became bigger than Come Back Home and earned 73 perfect-all-kills.
Overdose debuted in the Bubbling Under on Billboard at number 10!
Sohye had a vengeance. After a winter of taking violin, guitar, and writing lessons, she composed Overdose as her first project. She then enlisted Hyerim to help her with the lyrical material of the song. 2HYE lives on!
Mina joined the cast of Hello Counselor, to give advice to individuals!
As a gift for such a successful first half of 2017, Twist went on vacation to Malaysia!
To get to know the members more, Chaeyoung began her own radio show; Chae’s Clubhouse, where the Twist members and other idols are interviewed every week.
Performance Highlights (Iconic Moments / Popular Performances):
On 050417, the official comeback stages for Come Back Home and Overdose took place at Mnet Countdown. The stage for Come Back Home was rather futuristic, inspired by The Matrix and TLC’s ‘No Scrubs’. Each member had a white monochrome and colorful latex outfit suited for them, as they would dance in unison. The Overdose set in comparison was rather dark, sleek, and simplistic with white greek statues surrounding the girls. The beginning of the performances shows 20 backup dancers in the form of a choir as they surround Twist. Chaeyoung and Hyerim are directing the orchestra before the song begins.
On 050717 at SBS Inkigayo, Twist descended onto the stage from the ceiling via a small shaft and broke the glass wall that is used as an entrance to their performance of Overdose. Notable moments include Sohye opening up the performance with an electric guitar solo which transitions into Hyerim’s opening verse, Chaeyoung and Hyerim’s duo rap at the bridge, and Mina’s high note before the bridge.
At The 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards, Twist performed a symphony orchestra version of Overdose, which included 100 members and backup dancers on stage performing various string instruments of the melody. At the opening of the symphony orchestra segment, Mina has an operatic vocal solo stage and is followed by Sohye’s electric guitar solo segment. The girls are seen rising onto the stage in a ring of blue fire, which intensifies with every movement of the symphony behind them. Notable moments include a dance break before the bridge, Chaeyoung and Hyerim’s duo rap, Hyerim’s signature hand movement that commands the audience from each direction to sing or scream louder, and a solo Hyerim dance stage. The performance received critical acclaim and is listed as one of the most iconic MAMA stages.
At The 2017 Melon Music Awards, Twist performed a rock version of Triangle with an orchestra live band to enhance the live instrumental of the song. The girls are seen descending onto the stage as angels with fluffy white wings in a ring of pure white light (in contrast to the ring of blue fire they stood in at MAMA for Overdose). Notable moments include Sohye’s violin solo, Hyerim’s runway walk before her bridge (insp @ 3:01 here), Chaeyoung’s screamo rap, Hyerim’s high note at the end (4:30 here), and Mina leading a metal-insp dance break.
