Una pena no haberla tenido para el día 3 de la Perlina Week, que era “New Merch”. Pero lo importante es que ya está aquí, a falta tan solo de la base para ser un auténtico “amiibo”. ¡Por cierto, el portátil lo he “pintado” con pegatinas!

Voy a intentar pintar a Perla a tiempo para el lanzamiento de Side Order, y cronometraré las horas que tardo porque con Marina han sido así a ojo más de 15. Me duele la espalda.

Por cierto, destacable la costumbre que tienen mis figuras de romperse justo antes de fotografiarlas, en este caso el colgante. Y NO SÉ CUANDO SE LE ROMPIERON LOS LAZOS DE LAS ZAPATILLAS, ESTABAN ASÍ YA ANTES DE QUE EMPEZASE A PINTARLA, ESTOY TRISTE.

Hubo una época en la que Olivetti y Braun eran los reyes del diseño. Eran tan buenos que sus diseños siguen siendo algo difícil de superar. Dieter Rams y Walter Ballmer siguen siendo a día de hoy auténticos dioses.

Un diseño que ni siquiera Ettore Sottsass pudo estropear.

La idea original del gig póster de #Interpol era colocar la catedral y asta bandera detrás de los empalas, sin embargo, al haberlo trabajado así, me di cuenta de que no es realmente lo que estaba buscando, sentí de más estos elementos así que fueron sustituidos por unas ondas de reverberación tal como se ven en la versión final.

Este concierto gratuito me tomó por sorpresa, y en cuanto me enteré, vinieron un par de ideas a mi cabeza. De todas ellas, los impalas fueron quienes me convencieron.

The original idea for the #Interpol gig poster was to place the cathedral and flagpole behind the impalas. However, as I worked on it, I realized it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I felt these elements were too much, so they were replaced by reverberation waves, as seen in the final version.

This free concert took me by surprise, and as soon as I found out, a couple of ideas came to mind. Of all of them, it was the impalas that convinced me.
