There are nights I might feel a little tender. A little hollow in the chest. Not broken — just soft.

I am not waiting. I am blooming in my own time.

I am not missing a piece. I am whole, even in longing.

I am not unloved. I am deeply loved — by God, by life, by the version of me I’m becoming.

He can take his time. He can take his space. That’s okay.

So he didn't remember her? Delia always thought there was a 50-50 chance of someone recalling her when she had previously infiltrated in his dream. She only ventured into Khari's surface level of his psyche, as a dream walking succubus.

But now she was face-to-face with this man, and she pouted in disappointment that he did not in fact remember her. She looked around in the smoke, wondering if he created them, or if they were linked to some sort of shadow powers. So much to learn...

"Gives us a chance to introduce ourselves, then. I'm Delia. What shall I call you?"

Delia waved at Khari, "hello stranger...."

A heavy fog of swirling smoke surrounded the fashionable man.

He let his eyes wonder through the smoke as he tried to relax after the day that decided to reap his soul. His instincts kicked in to jolt up a little from his comfortably slouched position on his sofa to an upright one. His hues focused on the girl that was before him, trying to recollect the memory of her existing to him in the past. No success.

Khari stood up, placing his free hand under his elbow which was connected to the hand that held the lit cigar that fed the smoke around him. He sized her once more before he took another puff, enjoying the delay he was giving to her as a response. "Dollface, with a face like that I would remember you," He said with a smirk "Hate to disappoint, but I dont know where in the HELL you have came from....Do we know each other?"
