I recently repainted my sweet little Itsy Betsy as she’d badly damaged her last Faceup by leaping off the shelf in my doll cabinet, trying to take dolls with her. Fortunately no other doll got damaged, and it was the perfect excuse to finally repaint her as I hated the last Faceup I put on her.
I’m really happy with the changes I made this time around in painting her. She’d been based on a peacock jumping spider, so her old Faceup was really dramatic, but it didn’t suit her. Not only did I soften her look, but I put the extra painted eyes along her cheekbones, which gave me room to put eyebrows on her.
Quick before and after of her. It’s funny to me how much her body’s mellowed, she needs a good cleaning to match her head again!
The what is what:
Sculpt: Doll Chateau Elizabeth on the Spider body in grey skin
Eyes: Ashuradark on Etsy
Wig: Unknown
Dress: YoSD sized 1/6 dress by Frezje on Etsy

Repainted my Doll Chateau Elizabeth in grey skin, to be softer and to have eyebrows. It’s actually really fun for me to see how different faceups change a doll’s entire vibe.
Just look at that difference!
I was able to give her eyebrows this time because I moved the extra painted eyes onto her cheek bones (and I must say, they turned out brilliant) and I got rid of the overly bold lips.
I’m so glad that I moved the eyes, as now they are not hidden by her wig anymore. Oh, and I put so much gloss onto the fake eyes they have a slight dome.

I am thinking about selling my Doll Chateau Elizabeth, I don’t have time for major projects at the moment and she takes up so much space
The only thing is that I don’t have her certificate and that stresses me out. I bought her from a local community member who had lost it after moving (totally fair, I’d struggle to find mine with all the moving I’ve done). Her faceup looks right and she’s got a doll chataeu plate in her head but the body blushing is completely different
Any thoughts/advice?

MM's con is taking a toll on her. Haha!
--------
Hi Skippy. I think it's safe to say that MM and her PR team have followed the story of Edward VIII and Wallis, save for Prince Harry being 6th in line to the succession.
I. Background
Wallis
• twice divorced, childless, middle-aged during the affair (facts confirmed with evidence)
MM
• annulled, divorced, cohabitation
• childless, middle-aged (questionable birth year)
II. Outrageous demands, carelessness and ignorance of Royal protocol.
- These facts apply to both Wallis and MM.
III. Two brothers drifting apart.
- This happened between Edward VIII and George VI.
However, it's not confirmed for Prince William and Prince Harry as most stories come from MM's PR, unless otherwise stated.
IV. Tension with sister-in-law.
- Wallis met and spent time with Elizabeth, Duchess of York, whereas MM only met Catherine through official events.
Malicious stories against Catherine come ftom MM's PR.
V. Happy domestic life of one brother.
- Living children vs doll. No further questions, Your Honor.
VI. Deliberate and calculated display of power.
- Both have none.
VII. Damage to the monarchy.
VIII. Place of residence.
• Edward VIII and Wallis lived in a Loire Valley chateau lent to them by a French billionaire.
• Farry and MM allegedly stayed in Canada and US after Megxit.
- Tyler Perry mansion, uncomfirmed.
- Montecito mansion from a Russian billionaire, unconfirmed.
IX. Refusal of titles.
• Edward VIII insisted on formal recognition for Wallis, i.e Her Royal Higness.
• Farry's alleged "What Poop wants, Poop gets" outburst.
- This story came from MM's PR, hence unconfirmed.
X. Dossier.
• China dossier for Wallis.
• Daily Mail dossier for MM.
As for the BRF, who knows what other confidential information they have aside from the Daily Mail's.
XI. Heart's desire.
• This can be applied for Edward VIII, regardless of Wallis Simpson's true intentions for him.
- Wallis was on her own.
- They had a real relationship.
• Con/fraud/coercion for MM and her backers.
- MM can't pull this trick on her own. She's phantasmic to even come into the consciousness of mass media in general.
- No real relationship timeline.
- No real photos and videos to prove the authenticity of the alleged relationship prior to the spooky wedding.
- Everything is PR for her.
XII. Copycat/imitation.
• Wallis didn't have a beautiful face, but she managed to improve her fashion sense and appearance after starting her affair with the Prince of Wales.
• MM is a creepy mimic for Diana and Catherine.
- Her real beauty comes from random, raw and unedited photos and videos taken from official and gatecrashed events.
- MM lives on freebies, merching and exchange deals.
Great job! So interesting...Thank you so much!😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

One of my own dolls, a Doll Chateau Elizabeth in grey skin. I painted extra eyes on her. Her coloring is based on a Maratus Nigromaculatus peacock spider. Very cute and very blue!

My Rap1993 Danni, Adelaide, got a faceup finally, and so did Enid, my Doll Chateau Elizabeth. Enid’s is kinda minimal, heh. Now Addie just needs her proper, red eyes.

BJD Box Opening (featuring not a single box) - Doll Chateau Elizabeth
If you remember me posting about having inspiration for the first time in forever and then almost immediately posting that I had found the perfect doll for said inspiration, this is her! I was super lucky in that a local community member was selling her and willing to negotiate a little on the price. Yesterday I went up to pick her up in person (and got to have lunch with @luminiari yeee)
I am so incredibly excited to start working on her (Plus I’ve worked out what I’m going to be doing with Vivienne’s dye job as well) and step one is going to be A LOT of cleaning, she’s a bit messy and has a lot of very heavy blushing (plus her default face-up) that all needs to come off (the very first thing I did though was taking out that other neck piece, those freak the living daylights out of me)
If you’re not a fan of spiders, all posts with photos of her in them will be tagged as ‘spider doll’ She also doesn’t have a name yet, so if anyone has got any suggestions I am all ears :D

Look at my sweet, dangerous cinnamon roll; Hemlock is back from being painted by @shadowedforce who has been brilliant. ♥ (Body pictures tomorrow when I can get natural light again.)
It’s so funny how a faceup can change your opinion or help you make up your mind on some things, I was so torn between giving her either a brown or a pink wig but this has cemented my decision to go with brown - only a lighter colour than I had in mind before.
