Dimension: Limbo

Allegiance: Evil

Dr. Wily was at one time Dr. Light's colleague in the Robert University of Technology, becoming friendly rivals during their professional lives. Wily and Light create many robots, being responsible for advancements in the field of robotics. Though Wily won many awards in his time, he was consistently upstaged by Dr. Light, and this slightly wounded his pride. When Dr. Light founded Light Labs, Light hired Wily because he felt the two would create great robots.

Their first project was Protoman, the first humanoid robot with feelings. However, Protoman had a defect in his Solar Reactor, and he left Dr. Light's lab fearing to be changed, wandering around the world on his own. Despite that, they continued creating robots to help humanity. But over time, Dr. Wily grew jealous of Light receiving all the credit for the team's work. He stole and reprogrammed Light's industrial robots, attempting to take over the world. This was his first attempt.

After his first two failures, Dr. Wily began secretly working on a biological experiment to create an heir to his throne. After his third attempt, Jenny Wily was born. Despite the multiple attempts at taking over the world, Dr. Wily was a good father to Jenny Wily, teaching her everything she knows and being proud when she built her first robot by Age 6. He planned on retiring from villainy and giving his daughter full reign over the Wily empire, but Doc Robot had other plans.

In front of his own daughter, Doc Robot decapitated Dr. Wily's head off. That was the last time Dr. Wily was alive and at times the Undertaker regrets granting Doc Robot his wish. Is currently in Limbo because despite the multiple world take over attempts, he hasn't killed anyone to do so and has been a good father.

I think a great twist for Mega Man 12 would be that Dr. Wily claims some other villain is behind the robot attacks this time, but nobody believes him because why would they, but get this: IT’S ACTUALLY NOT WILY THIS TIME.

Something I find a bit wholesome in the Megaman series is that Zero seems to actual have inherited a couple aesthetic traits from Wily when being created. We see in flashbacks that Wily was blonde when he was younger, along with having a thing for ponytails at one point in the Archie comics.

Guess it makes sense why he wanted Zero to have a big-ass ponytail, he might’ve been projecting just a liiiiittle bit

Got bored and decide to make this for fun (andtofurtherputoffansweringasks) as I haven’t seen a post like this for any Mega Man iteration fandom, hope you all enjoy!
