Shego: Dr. D, that's it. I'm done. You burned too many bridges.
Dr. Drakken: That's not true! I put out that bridge fire when I flooded that Macy's.

Why I think Shego is twice Kim's (and Ron's) age and why I'm an anti Kigo shipper.
Shego was definitely in her mid to late 20s when the show first started. Perhaps Shego IS around her 30s in S3 to S4.
I will always believe that Shego is a lot older than a teenager like Kim and Ron, Ron even said that she IS older than him and Kim twice in two episodes in Season 4. Shego is definitely 90% an adult because she had a temporary thing and went on a date with Kim and Ron's teacher Steve Barkin when she was Miss Go, and then flirted and almost kissed a grown adult rich man who is a single father only for his wealth, but her interest in him doesn't last long when she found out he has a son (which I do find weird because he said he IS a single father when she was still in disguise)
How could anybody watch Stop Team Go and not see that she was clearly a teacher and went on a date with Steve Barkin, who is twice Kim and Ron's age? Ron Stoppable would HATE the Kigo ship by saying "Is there an alternate fan fiction universe where K.P. and Shego are dating? Because that will never happen in our world. Shego is older and twice a teenager's age. 🤮"
#I'm not trying to force Kigo shippers to stop posting their fanfiction ship and change their opinions#this post is just me expressing my opinion and why it doesn't make me feel comfortable#please don't attack me for having an opinion that's different from yours everybody has their own opinions that make them feel comfortable#kim possible#shego#drakgo#drakken x shego#my opinion#disney#disney channel

Alright, its a long chapter and I hope you all enjoy!
CHAPTER 200!!! Facades Part 3
A/N: 200 CHAPTERS!!! I have finally reached 200 CHAPTERS! I am so excited.
Facades Part 3
The dim light glow of Shego's hand contrasted with the eerie red glow of Gil's eyes as they and Adrena made their way through darkened tunnels. The splashing of the sludge beneath their feet and their breathing the main sound around them. They had been walking now for a few minutes and Shego's mind was repeating a mantra against her will.
This is stupid!
It was dark, damp, and again... stupid. Shego let out a low sigh under her breath as she pulled at her collar. The water still drifting along the inner lining of her suit making her more uncomfortable than she already was. The one she'd worn on their flight to this impromptu rescue mission was an older one and lacked any updates. It had leaked and her phone was officially fried and the water had now shifted to the inside of her boots. That being said, or rather thought, this was the least of her problems. Her eyes looked towards where Adrena walked a few inches ahead of her, intentionally staying back from where Gil led the way.
She almost wanted to fixate on the idea of updated attire rather than what she was doing, but she needed to focus. The fact she was walking blindly into a possible trap, or at best an unseen electrical grid, was sinking in with each step. While what Gil had told them was plausible, wanting to fix his mutation problems, secret facilities, Camille getting in over her head-- it could also still be an elaborate set up.
What were the odds that they had been on the same island in Croatia... chosen to be at the Villain's Inn that night... had been at the very spa Adrena had talked her into going to for a so called interview. She felt her steps slow in pace and Adrena's few inches became a few feet. Her eyes took in the back of Adrena's head, wondering if the blonde was capable of being part of an elaborate team up.
Adrena wasn't dumb, she was annoying and overly excitable at times, but not dumb. She had worked in multiple industries, pulled off deviant scams and publicity stunts... would this be in her wheelhouse? Shego ran every instance involving Adrena back in her head, and while she knew she was in fact capable of it, there was a part of Shego that hoped this wasn't the case.
She kept her pace slower as she thought of the alternative, that this was a series of coincidences. It was possible, given how many she'd run into in her years of villainy... Camille getting in over her head with the wrong crowd or overstepping a simple blackmail not knowing what some people are willing to do... that was an easy scenario. Shego thought back to the comments from Halloween... she knew Botox probably had loads of ties in the medical world, they had been a top surgeon as Dr. Taxley... and villains like that had hands in a lot of cookie jars... and given that Camille was most likely not the only one in the family with a desire for plastic surgery... it was believable that her father might also be willing to call in an expensive favor... blackmail could be a double edged sword.
But what about the Swamp Monster?
Her eyes looked at Gil again, she noticed that he looked less... green... she watched as he looked at his own hands and a look of disgust pulled on his more human looking features.
Camp Wannaweep?
“Adrena,” Shego whispered, “How did you know about that camp?”
“What camp?” asked Adrena. Shego gestured towards Gil, “Oh, Wannaweep? We we're going to do a stunt show there once but it got closed down due the toxic lake... which meant we we're for sure going to do a freaky creepy episode... unfortunately Kim Possible and company busted me a week before we had planned to do the shoot there. Good thing too, it was actually... very toxic.”
“Possible?” asked Shego. Her eyes widened as she recalled where she's heard that name, “That's the place Stoppable ranted about being captive with a monkey or something.”
“Is he still on about that,” hissed Gil, “You know, it be nice if I had more impact than a chimpanzee roomie.”
“That sounds personal,” muttered Adrena.
“You think,” snorted Shego. She took the opening, “Struck a nerve?”
“You could—Gah!” Gil yelped and was flung back into them, “Found the grid.”
“You think?” scoffed Shego as she shoved the two off of her.
“So, now what?” asked Adrena as they go to their feet.
Shego looked at the invisible barrier, trying to find anything different around the large metal pipe. Then she saw it, several black small dots surrounding the the band to look like screws. She smirk and let her her hands ignite higher, filling the channel with brilliant green.
“You stand back,” was her only warning.
She let out what she hoped was a concentrated blast.

The backup hovercar wasn't nearly as silent as Drakken wanted it to be as he double-checked the coordinates. Again, praising the internet for the ease it aided in finding others locations and the stupidity of bragging about ones new island lab location to anyone doing an interview. He had spent too much time looking this up, when if he had simply remembered that in his desk drawer was the list of attendees for the GIST conference where Dr. Bortel's address was clearly listed... but that would be something to learn later.
At the moment, Drakken thumped the back engine of the hovercar, hoping to stop the loud whining sound. It wasn't exactly stealthy when he was trying to break into someone's residence. The engine finally went silent, seconds before dropping fast towards the water below. Furiously, he began hitting buttons, and letting out a loud panicked cry before the boat feature kicked in and with a splash, he was soaked... but floating. He let out a sigh of relief and tried to slow his heart rate.
Something flew passed his head and he yelled, only for Flower to block the dark watery view. Drakken growled and smacked Flower out of his way.
“Where were you when we were plummeting,” he snapped. Flower turned towards him and then looked behind him, “I'm aware where you were—Nghn, just forget it.”
He looked at the flickering of the hovercar's panels and sighed as it showed the coordinates weren't far ahead and with a squint into the distance, he thought he could make out something on the horizon. Vines made round circles his eyes and he glared before shoving Flower out of his face.
“I don't need glasses!” barked Drakken. Flower hung its head and slowly shook back and forth, “I'm not having this argument again.”
He chose to ignore the appendage contradicting him and pushed forward through the waters, following the coordinates and hoping that he could use a backup on his phone in case the screen went. He reached into his chest pocket for the small cellular device... and continued patting his chest and then his other pockets before it dawned on him.
“I forgot my phone,” he patted around him and then looked under his seat, “I cant believe I-- Oh look binoculars.”
Drakken pulled them out and used them towards the horizon, where in fact, there was an island. He mentally cursed himself for forgetting his phone, but moved forward with his plans and sped along the waterway hoping to hurry this along... ignoring the fact he now had no backup plan. He wasn't planning on calling Shego, but if things had gotten troublesome, it had been an option. As he neared the island, he could see a boat hidden in the rocks with something tossed over it to obscure it. He notated the oddity that Bortel would need to hide a boat. As he rounded the edges of the island, he could make out no structure at first before he saw lights. Tucked into the trees of the island, there was what looked like a small lit stairwell going downwards.
Before Drakken could double back to hide the hovercar and go on foot, something hit the hovercar from underneath. A blast of murky green light under the water that flipped him out of the hovercar and into the salty sea water. He sputtered as Flower yanked him back in the boat and shook the water off it violently.
“What was that,” cursed Drakken as he shook water off himself.
Flower shrugged and shook the last drop of water off. There was sense of unease washing over him as he looked around, as if a sense of familiarity mixed with the mission he had given himself. He shook it off and docked the hovercar behind some rocks not far off from the boat he'd seen hidden and proceeded on foot into the darkness.

Water rushed around them in a swirl of salt and sludge.
“What was that,” gasped Adrena as she choked out water.
Shego let out her own choke of water as the water receded down what might have been a flood valve below them. She hadn't expected the whole pipe to crack, but it was clear that this base had safety procedures in case of leaks. The water that had rushed in from the sensor band suddenly had a black liquid around its edges that seemed to harden in seconds. She'd have had more of a curious reaction to this if she wasn't ringing out her hair and getting the taste of salt and sludge from her mouth.
“Probably set to blow if its tampered with,” lied Shego, she knew she'd overpowered them too much and her blast had caused it.
Little rusty I guess.
She made a mental note to blast a few things once in a while when she got home just to keep a better harness now that she wasn't using her powers as often for fighting. Shego glanced at the two with her, Adrena was still bracing against a wall and coughing, but Gil seemed annoyed the waters had receded down to just ankle level now. Looking at where the sensors had once been she could see that black ooze again forming. Shego let out and exasperated sigh and grabbed the arms of the two behind her and rushed them forward with her. Either they beat being shocked or were about to dive into an electrical current instead of a wall.
“What's with the grubbing,” snapped Gil as he yanked his arm from her hand, leaving some slime residue on her glove.
“I was trying to not repeat another session of shock therapy,” scoffed Shego, she wiped her hand on her leg, “Trust me, it wasn't a treat for me.”
“So... now what?” asked Adrena, who remained close to Shego, “This is as far as he got--”
“This way,” Gil was already a few feet ahead of them down a different tunnel.
Shego and Adrena both shared a confused look, and whatever concerns Shego had about Adrena being willingly involved in a trap faded away at the unease in her eyes and the way the other women's eyes darted back towards where they'd gotten in. They were both uneasy, for different reasons she was sure... but as they hesitantly moved forward... there was an unspoken agreement that Gil was omitting something from the story he'd been telling.

The smell of burnt leather assaulted Drakken's nose as he moved through the metal vents. While the security around the entrance had appeared lacking, a flamethrower blast had not only ruined the bottom half of his coat, it had also made him take a detour to what he hoped was an air vent shaft. Whatever it was must have been need a waterway because every so often he could hear a splashing sound beneath him at certain cross-sections. He reached another down facing vent, the fourth one actually. He'd come across three storage rooms so far, but this one had a faint light in it. The annoyance of the burnt smell fell to a hopeful glee as he saw he was above a room with a computer and files. He did his best to carefully dislodge the panel and give out the least amount of sound only for it to fall to the ground with a loud clatter. He froze and waited to hear anything like approaching security but after five minutes, he heard nothing.
Drakken did his best to stealthily drop down but slipped slightly on the discarded grate and cursed under his breath, but managed to steady himself. The glow of the computer's screensaver vanished as he moved the mouse. He looked at the locked screen and rolled his eyes at himself for not thinking this through. He mentally tried to recall how to get passed this point and tried the keys that he'd used back at the Conference to get into the hotel computer... it did not work and a lock timer appeared indicating twenty minutes. He rubbed his face in frustration and then looked at the files and let out an annoyed sigh at her began a more tedious search.

They had made their way out of the damp drainage systems and had come across a series of tunnel like halls big enough to drive a small car through. Strangely enough, Shego couldn't see any cameras in view as she rung out her her hair. The only sound in the tunnels was the damp squelching of Gil's feet and the drips of Adrena and Shego's clothing and hair on the concrete. The tunnels reminded Shego of her lair back in Greece, the tunnels that led to the water basin and to the house above the cliff's edge. Hallow and winding. Down the tunnels and along the walls were scattered doors with no real indication of planned out space. Vents lined along the base of a few walls for sewage and waste cleaning she was sure, but all was a dark stony gray with wide beams framing certain doorways.
“No what?” asked Adrena, “This place is huge.”
“You're friend was taken to the second door on the left... down there,” said Gil as he indicated a direction and began going the opposite way.
“Where are you going?” asked Shego.
“I'm not here for your friend, I'm here for what I need,” scoffed Gil as he began moving along the edge of the walls, “Good luck, don't get caught.”
He vanished from view and Shego glanced towards the direction he indicated.
“Do we trust him?” asked Adrena, her eyes still focused where Gil had vanished.
“He's a mutant monster who tried to kill us and clearly knows more about this place then he originally told us,” said Shego, “What do you think?”
“I'd usually say, 'No,' but given the company we normally have... its hard to make a call,” sighed Adrena.
“The answer is no... but I get your point,” said Shego as she began heading towards the direction Gil had indicated, “Come on, we've come this far. Stick to the wall in case there are guards.”
“Do you have any idea what we might be walking into?” asked Adrena.
Shego's brow furrowed as she thought back to Halloween and the Cabin talk with Cleopatra... small hints that she'd gathered and direct data. If this was in fact not a trap and Camille had gotten herself in over her head with anyone with ties or even Botox themselves... they could be busting right into a hive of Henchdolls. Shego felt a shiver up her spine at the thought of the last time she'd faced them. Her hand subconsciously slid over where the tracker was on her belt. She recoiled her hand with as much restraint as she could muster. She wasn't about to set it off if she didn't have too, but she needed to be vigilante if any more red flags arose.
“I have some idea, but just keep an eye for anything... off,” said Shego.
“Shego, that's this whole day,” stated Adrena, “We we're just supposed to gossip and relax on my bosses dime...”
Shego rolled her eyes at the truth of Adrena's statement. If she had simply turned her down, she might have been comfortably snuggled in bed right now or listening to Drakken prattle on about the mood ring... or both. Either way, this was not the day she had planned on having but she should have known better.
“Shego?” asked Adrena. There was something soft about her voice and Shego glanced at her to see worry and unease on the blondes face.
“Talk later,” said Shego, not sure what Adrena might be thinking, but it was not a time for sentiment and questions. Time was limited.
Shego darted to the door that Gil had indicated and she tried the handle, it was locked and a pin-pad blinked a gentle red light. She looked above them to see what looked like a vent shaft a good six feet up and Shego looked at the large bolts on the beams before using them to guide her way up the beam. Shego glanced down at Adrena, about to tell her to wait there while she unlocked the door, but she was surprised to see Adrena only a few bolts below her, following her path upwards. Shego smirked and continued on her way, she forgot to often just how capable the one time stunt and adrenaline junky was... if she wasn't going down the entertainment route in villainy she would have been a really good mercenary.
Maybe I should have utilized this friendship more when I was in villainy.
Shego used the strength of the vent-shaft to lean on as she yanked open the vent opening. She managed to hold onto it so it didn't fall to the ground below and make a loud noise. She shoved it into the vent before swiftly leaping to grip the frame opening and swing herself inside. It was narrow enough that she couldn't turn around but wide enough to easily move through. She backed out to lean out the vent best she could. Adrena gave her a nod that she could make it, so Shego moved forward in the tunnel and looked back over her shoulder as she heard Adrena grab onto the vent-shaft. She could hear her struggling and Shego realized she at least had gloves on. Shego move backwards and moved a bent leg out and Adrena used it as leverage and Shego moved forward to help her pull herself in. Once Adrena was fully in and let go of Shego's leg, she moved continued along the vent shaft and it was barely a few feet before they saw an opening.
Looking in she could see a lab filled with various surgical looking equipment that only had the emergency lights on and no one inside. Looking forward she could see another light vent and moved about twenty feet to where the light seemed brighter. Its also where the vent ended before turning off down a another shaft. Shego saw the light was coming from a room with other small vents on it. Shego looked at the wall, it was a different material than the rest of the vent.
“Shego?” whispered Adrena.
“I think there's something beyond this wall,” siad Shego, “This is our starting point.
Shego yanked off the vent and revealed another part of the surgical lab. It was dark like the others, but the bright light from different air vents was even brighter with out the obstruction. Shego leaned through the opening to see that a thick heavy door with large locks and a pin-pad on it. The vents at this angle were definitely light shafts. Shego flipped downwards out of the vent and looked around carefully and saw the door about thirty feet off or so in the distance through the darkened lab. She could see the door was also pretty secured as well. A loud thump behind her made her jump only to see Adrena had not landed as graceful as she had.
“Sorry,” whispered Adrena as she staggered to her feet.
Shego looked around them but no noises seemed to fill the room indicating any alarms had gone off. There was no faint lights different from before that would have been a silent alarm or motion. Apart from those black sensors that had repaired themselves, the security was not as secure as she would have thought... especially if it was keeping someone against their will. Another glance over the surgical part of this lab made Shego uneasy, but she shook it off.
“This looks like its used as a medical facility,” said Shego under her breath, “How much did you know about her surgeon.”
“Only that he used that experimental stuff and Camille signed a waiver allowing to be a test subject,” said Adrena, “When we we're at Junior's party she had mentioned they'd gotten released and she needed to see him... but then the whole thing with her distancing herself...”
Shego mused on what Gil had said and the timing... perhaps Camille had not fully gotten the chance to blackmail her father like he'd said... if that was the case. Either way, they were here now and the how and why was not really important. Shego approached the door and looked at the keypad closely. It was far more secure than what she'd seen so far. There was a badge and recognition component which meant it wasn't as easy to counter, and a blast would for sure set off an alarm and it still might not even open.
“Do you blast it?” asked Camille. She was looking at the light vents, “Do you think this is where she is?”
“Well, its a random secured room with air vents and lights in what is clearly a medical lab. She or someone is either in there or we are about to open up a very dangerous experiment and book it,” said Shego. Adrena's eyes widened.
“Like... zombies?” asked Adrena.
Shego let out an annoyed sign but paused.
“... there... would be hazard signs,” said Shego, whether it was to make Adrena or herself feel better she wasn't sure.
Wracking her brain with any method of making this work, only one thing came to mind. A vague recollection of numbers and a long forgotten pinpad lairs in the past. She was more than a little annoyed that Mego's voice entered her head in its smug tone then looked at the scan bar before opening up a tiny side panel with numbers.
Worth a shot.
“We need something with a strip,” said Shego as she began padding her suit and then down her leg to the old pouch where she felt something.
“We left our wallets-- Oh a credit card,” said Adrena as Shego pulled out a very old one from her pouch.
“That's where this thing has been,” snorted Shego, “I thought I lost this years ago.”
With a roll of her eyes she shoved it the wrong direction into the slot and began typing on the pinpad.
“00110011,” Shego muttered to herself, holding the card in place.
This is stupid, this is never going too--
There was a beeping noise and then the light turned green.
“Shego, you're amazing,” gasped Adrena, “How did you know that?”
Shego opened and closed her mouth in shock before clearing her throat.
“Skill,” she said as casual as she could before yanking out the credit card. “We're going to keep that in there... Stand back just in case there's something another security feature.”
“Or something else,” said Adrena with a concerned expression, but she took a few steps back.
Shego pulled the heavy handle up and watched the bolts shift. The door was strong and heavy but Shego pulled it open to reveal a well lit room with basic amenities in it, an empty messed up bed, a small desk, a lamp, and speakers on the wall. She stepped into the room that seemed empty and silent, but before she could register anything, movement from her left and a sharp pain in her head blindsided her.
Panic and defense set in, the fear this was a trap hit her like a truck as the figure darted out the door. Her mind raced and she darted towards the door herself as it was about to close. As she slammed into it, the door was being yanked open by Adrena, whom she collided with. Shego's ears were already ringing and the collision onto the hard floor was not helping. Adrena and herself scrambled to their feet to follow where the figure had gone. Shego saw blonde hair and someone wearing what looked like white linen scrubs of some kind... not banging on the pin-pad of the exit door.
“Camille,” called Adrena, hasting towards the other women, “Camille, its us.”
Attempting to shake the ringing from her ears, Shego assessed the situation a little more clearly now that her panic was being pushed away, something she would deal with later at her own reaction. She could see a desk chair on the ground in the lit room and it was clear Camille had been attempting her own escape at hearing the door being open. The buzzing sound of frantic beeping pulled Shego back into the moment. She looked towards where Camille had not registered either she or Adrena and was still bashing the pin-pad. Shego watched the lights in the distance change.
“Camille,” snapped Shego as she looked at the pin-pad, “You're going to trigger the alarm!”
Shego began sprinting towards the other two women just as Adrena reached Camille and yanked her away from the device. Unfortunately, as the lights flew on and an alarm began blaring... it had been too late.
“Great,” groaned Shego.
“Adrena... Shego?” asked Camille looking between the two, “What are you doing here?”
“Getting you,” said Adrena as they got to their feet.
“You... you cant be here,” she said with wide eyes looking at Shego specifically.
Shego opened her mouth to inquire, but what looked like a closet door opened and six identical guards appeared, all eerily and distortedly alike. A confirmation that Shego had already suspected of just where Camille's surgeon had gotten their chemical cocktails. The stretched features of the guards made no adjustments before they charged towards the three.

Drakken let out a sputtering and exasperated laugh as he held the very file he'd been looking for in his hands. Every drawer was a mess he was sure but he'd finally located it on the second to last drawer under the 'W' letter... the original file name being 'What's You're Mood-Ring,' Drakken rolled his eyes and tucked the folder into his coat pocket. As he was about to head into the vents, he heard voices outside the door and the handle turned. Drakken spun around and looked for anywhere to hide before darting to a the small closet behind the door. Barely fitting with the amount of junk surrounding, the door slammed into the door of the closet and caused something heavy to land on his foot. He muffled a scream as someone walked into the room.
“I am surprised you came so fast,” was Bortel's voice, “I only sent out a message a short while ago.”
“It was no big, we we're dealing with a robotics lab robbery lest then an hour away,” came the familiar voice of Kim Possible, “So the break in was recent.”
“That's the thing, it's like-- what happened to my files!” Bortel yelled. Drakken mentally yelled at himself for leaving the mess.
“Wait, this isn't why you called us?” came Ron's voice.
“No, I called because there was a blast in one of the waterways and my security devices went off, I had hoped it had deterred them,” said Bortel, “This room just has my files and the security computer for this unit.”
“Unit?” asked Kim.
“Yes, you see this is--” What Bortel was about to say was interrupted by a loud humming sound, “That I believe is an alarm.”
Drakken heard movement and then silence in the room as he assumed the group had gone to find the source of the alarm. Drakken let out his held in whine as she removed what had felt like a bowling ball on his foot and stumbled out of the closet and knocked the computer and several items down in the process. He nearly slid on whatever had fallen on hit foot and it in fact looked like a bowling ball until it rolled into against the cabinet and revealed what looked like a giant eight ball. The little die locked into place and said 'Eminent.'
“What does that mean?” asked Drakken to himself before the device started spinning on its own and small spikes appeared, “Gah!”
Drakken hastened through the vent with the held of Flower as the ball below spun out into the hallway to yells and panic from Bortel who had clearly been on their way back to the room. He didn't stay to hear the fallout and hastened back down the events and away from whatever had began to transpire.
–X
The guard flew into a beam as Shego fired a blast into them. Whatever material their uniforms were made of seemed to deflect a majority of her hits, but it kept them at a distance. Adrena had attempted to help by throwing lab equipment, one of which had caused one of the guards faces to essentially melt, which would have been horrifying if it hadn't revealed that the guards were not human.
“Robots?” asked Shego, “I just thought these guards were a new brand of ugly on loan from Botox.”
“I'm not sure how much favor Dr. Beaufox has, but since this is their lab, maybe that's not included in their arrangement, ” said Camille, “I don't know who supplies the guards but I couldn't even fool them with shifting into Beaufox... You'd think robots would be easier to fool.”
“If their robots, there has to be a way to short them out or turn them off,” muttered Shego.
As she looked at the melted face, something familiar about its facial frame structure. As she went to kick one only for it to spin and throw her into a different wall, it clicked. While they had more human-like features that appeared to differ from each other, and their movements seemed more fluid, the facial frame and revealed red eyes made Shego eyes narrow. These robots were built from Bebe parts, at least their faces. While they didn't seem to speak or communicate verbally, they all moved as if knowing the others movements. Something she made note to bring up to Drakken after she got out of here, but she needed to disrupt their communications or turn them off.
“Get off me!” yelled Camille as two of the guards had began to drag her back to her containment cell, she was shifting to different forms as if she was trying to slip out of their grasp.
Adrena yelled as she dove out of the way of a guard and another grabbed hold of her arm. Shego leapt out of the two attempting to grab her and used the lab equipment like a platform to cut off the guards headed towards the containment area with Camille. Shego made eye contact with Camille who went limp as Shego kicked both the robotic guards in their heads causing them to let go of Camille and fly through the containment cell door. Shego slammed a blast into the pin-pad causing the door to shut the two in.
“That's two down at least,” stated Shego as she whirled around to where Camille had gotten off the ground, “Four to go.”
Shego looked at Camille a second before she got an idea.
“When you say they recognized you, who were you impersonating.” asked Shego.
“Dr. Beaufox... one of them,” said Camille.
“They might have recognition chips for those... so try shifting into me,” said Shego, when she glanced at Camille again, it was her face staring back at her, “This is the one and only time I wont fight you for doing this, so try and mirror me.”
“I mean what you don't know wont hurt me,” snickered her own voice at her. Shego glared, “Kidding! Lead the way.”
Shego darted towards where the two who had been after her were charging their direction. She watched them hesitate as if trying to distinguish Camille's mirrored movement to hers. It was enough for Shego to grab one of the robotic guards heads and launch it into the other sending them flying into lab equipment as she moved to where Adrena was still attempting to get the guards off her with kicks that did no damage. Shego yelled as a metal rod almost hit her as Camille had grabbed a broken lab table leg and was attempting to bash the robotic guards metal dome in that was holding Adrena.
“Give me that,” said Shego as she lit her hands and Camille tossed it to her, “Adrena, keep your head away from theirs.
“I'm trying to get my whole self away from them all together,” stated Adrena.
She heated the rod up and used all her strength to bend it swiftly around the heads of the robot guards. They let go of Adrena as they tried to pry the bar from around themselves. Adrena kicked and caused them to stumble back into where the other robots were starting to get to their feet. Shego grabbed Adrena's arm causing her to stumble to her feet as she shoved Camille towards the door they'd originally entered through. Who knew how much time they had before more guards came.

Drakken pulled his way through the vents once more, mostly hoping that Flower knew where they were going, in his haste to avoid Possible and company he hadn't really given much thought to the directions he'd taken. While he wasn't exactly doing anything villainous, he was still breaking and entering.
Wouldn't have had too if someone had just given me all the information they were supposed too..
He saw a light up ahead and was relieved that there was another vent that might give him direction again, however his relief was short lived as it wasn't a vent giving off the light, but a familiar naked rodent with a headlamp on. Drakken froze as the naked mole rat illuminated his face, he gave his best pleading look and made a hushing motion before sputtering reason.
“I'm not who your looking for,” his hissed and he reached frantically for the folder in his chest pocket, “Shh, no... you see... legally I was supposed to have something and-- I'm not doing evil, I promise.”
Rufus looked at him and Drakken held his pleading look as he produced the folder. He knew the thing was intelligent, but a hope for reason seemed unlikely. He mentally tried his best to come up with a better pleading for when the naked mole rat called for Possible... but it vanished as Rufus turned down the other tunnel and in the lamp light gave a pleasant chattering noise and waved at him before continuing down the vents in search of whoever else had broken in tonight. Drakken paused in disbelief, before backpedaling down the vent to try another direction.

They raced down yet another corridor after leaving what felt like the seventh door they'd gone through in hopes of a normal exit. There had been other medical labs, some storage, some general lair aesthetics, and the third general chemical labs... all leading back to the narrow car spaced area.
“How many labs are in this place,” snapped Shego as she glared back down towards their last door.
“Maybe its a lair share island,” said Adrena as they darted around another corner as one of the robotic henchman went by.
“It has to be,” said Camille, “Those places has a different vibe all together. But... there too permanent for a lair share, don't you think?”
“I don't know what that is,” they all jumped as Gil's voice came from near their feet.
They looked down to the large metal drain below them. Shego could see through the grid that Gil's eyes no longer gave off the red color when they'd first come in here.
Maybe he found whatever he was looking for.
“Nice of you to join us,” scoffed Shego, “Could have used some backup with the guards.”
“Hey! You guys were her for your friend, I was here for sludge,” his eyes darted to a confused Camille, “At least one of us got what we came for.”
“So you've been just... hiding in the drains?” asked Adrena with a grimmace.
“No, I was trying to find you two... the screaming was a pretty good indicator you were going in this direction... These waters aren't exactly easy to navigate,” said Gil, “There's so much runoff down here; combustibles, sludge, chemicals, but not mine... Much different then the lab waters, I was hoping for some residue for what I needed-- Hey!”
Adrena and Shego hushed Gil as Shego blasted open the drain.
“Did you not hear me say combustibles,” scoffed Gil as he climbed out of the opened hole, “Geesh I thought you were all smart.”
“What is happening?” asked Camille with wide eyes as she looked between Gil and the others, “Whose the cute guy wearing swim trunks and a shirt?”
Shego looked at Gil as he stood in front of them, he was in fact human again, not just the eyes.
“This is Gil, Gil this is Camille... he's the sea monster who tried to kill us in Croatia,” Adrena hastened. Camille blinked at her, “It's been a really freaky day...”
“I have so many questions,” huffed Camille.
“Can we save all this until we get out of here,” said Shego, she looked at Gil, “How bad are the waterways?”
“Unless you three have some secret mutation, there is no way your not going to get a massive chemical burn just touching it,” he looked at Shego's hands, “Or set it on fire.”
“Then by foot it is,” huffed Shego.
The sound of multiple footsteps approaching made her growl under her breath and she scanned for another lab doorway or exit. She could see a few more tunnel entrances a few yards away but there was no way they would be able to make it there without being seen. She glanced around the beam obscuring them from view slightly and saw an unmarked door.
“This way,” said Shego before racing to the door.
She tugged at the handle and wasn't surprised it was locked, she fired a blast at the doorknob and it gave way with ease.
“They really need to upgrade their security,” scoffed Camille.
“Do you want to leave them a note?” asked Shego sarcastically as they raced through the door and closed it behind them.
“It would be funny,” smirked Gil.
Shego ignored him and looked around the room, her eyes shot open and she swatted towards him.
“Is this what you were looking for?”
The room not only had an odor to it, but there were massive tanks filled with gigantic mutated fish that gave off an eerie glow. Shego covered her nose as something in a blackened tank shifted as they moved forward through the eerie light. Gil did not walk, he had all but vanished from view as he looked for whatever he'd come for. Her focus was on getting out of here before any guards or more security alarms were tripped. Glancing back at the door, she shot another blast that melted the hinges so it wouldn't be easy to enter.
---X
He had no idea where he was but the alarm sounds were louder than before, which either meant he was headed to trouble or towards the exit. There had been no real turn around points to go any other direction, so forward he trudged. He finally came to a fork in the tunnels and chose left only to smack right into someone. Drakken reacted and hit forward, the same time the other did right as their headlight clicked on... both resulting in smacking each other. A familiar face came into view holding their eye where he'd hit.
“Killigan?” asked Drakken in shock as he rubbed his cheek.
“Oi, Drakken... what are you doing here?” asked Duff with wide eyes, “Back to villainy?”
“No,” snapped Drakken, far more defensive than he should have been, “I came to get my end of a contract.”
Duff raised a brow.
“Well in that case... same,” said Duff as he indicated to a bag over his shoulder, “I'm fulfilling my end of a contract.”
“Bortel?” asked Drakken. Duff raised a brow.
“His place is here too? Aye, I should have taken that other contract and done a two for,” sighed Duff, “Next time.”
“So you set off the alarms?” inquired Drakken as he continued heading down the tunnels.
“Not that I'm aware,” came Duff's voice behind him, “There was a lot of open mercenary listings for this weekend... maybe there's more stuff here.”
“Fantastic,” grumbled Drakken, “Hopefully whoever else is here keeps Possible and company busy.”
“She's already here!” Duff said in shock, “Ive only been here for forty minutes at best.”
Drakken hummed in thought as he recalled the chatter he'd overheard.
“She was an hour away so if you've been here for forty... that means whatever that blast was had triggered to security,” he mused to himself.
“There was a blast?” asked Duff.
“Yes, when I arrived there was... a green... blast,” Drakken thought for a moment back to his phone left back at the lair and wondered what messages he'd had missed.
It couldn't be... could it?
Whatever musings flew from his mind as a loud metallic pinging sound erupted before the vent they were both in. They only had a split second before the metal tube dropped from the ceiling with them inside. The long drop down was stopped only by a tingle in his spine and he and Duff both floated a few inches from the ground as Flower wrapped around the outside of the vent.
“Well that's useful,” said Duff as they slid out of the vent.
Looking around they were in a long and tall cement hallway with large beams framing tunnels and an occasional door. Drakken was about to lament about the usefulness of Flower before suddenly the lights were cut and red emergency ones replaced it. The soft alarm that had originally been emitting was not loud and the lights began flashing. The sound of people or presumed security yelling came from a nearby hallway and two men exchanged a glance before sprinting forward in hopes of finding a way out and evade capture.
–X
The eerie lights didn't differ as they navigated the lab, one massive tank was upon the far wall with massive fish that didn't not look right being as large as they were. Shego was fairly certain that a ten foot goldfish was not normal. She'd wondered how the tanks and specimens had gotten in here if Camille hadn't pointed out that the walls looks like old metal garage doors. Which made the lab much longer than any of the others they'd been in.
“How did you know I was here?” asked Camille breaking the silence.
Shego nodded towards where she could see Gil tearing through items in the distance. Camille looked even more confused.
“Apparently he's been stalking us all since Croatia,” said Adrena, “He jumped us at a spa and honestly... didn't even know he was telling us the truth about you.”
“Yeah, we blindly came looking for you,” scoffed Shego, “You're welcome.”
Shego glanced at Camille to see an unreadable expression on her face, as if she was trying to school her emotions but there was a softness in her tired eyes and she seemed to drift closer to she and Adrena. There was a million questions she would ask her about later, mainly for safety and connections, but that wasn't the current focus. They needed to get out of here before security caught up to them.
“Yes!” came Gil and Shego looked towards where the young-man held two disgusting looking bottles he'd ripped out of a fridge.
“Good for you,” grumbled Shego before she watched him down one of the bottled, “Hey!”
“Well, I gotta make sure,” stated Gil before jumping into the large tank.
“Shego, do you think we probably shouldn't have helped him do... whatever is happening?” asked Adrena, Shego shook her head.
“I mean he tried to kill us and mutate us... so probably not,” scoffed Shego. She looked at Camille, “You're lucky we like you.”
There was a hint of a smile at the edge of Camille's lips as she held a distant look in her eyes. Shego didn't know what was racing through her mind but given the look and how she seemed fixated on smoothing her hair and sticking close to she and Adrena... Camille was mentally dealing with piecing together and soothing her own thoughts. Shego knew the look well, she'd had it a lot herself in her life.
“It worked,” Gil reappeared out of the water and with a loud damp thump, he'd appeared in front of them... every bit the sea monster they'd met in Croatia, “Much better.”
“That's not...” Adrena trailed off and took a step back behind Shego.
As Gil grabbed the other bottle and tucked it into the pocket of his swim-trunks, Shego kept a good distance from him and decided to hasten their way out... the guy had just drank a mystery bottle and turned into the Creature from the Black Lagoon and was over the moon about it... maybe it was a step to whatever cure he'd been looking for, but know knew what the chemicals after-affects might cause.
Last think we need is one of those mentally unstable mutant monsters from the Inn walking around with us.
The image of them all aggressively attacking them or each other was not an image she wanted to relive... especially in their current predicament.
“So long as we keep under the radar we should be able too--” Shego was cut off as the walls began to open up, “Crap! Run!”
Shego and the other three sprinted ahead of the opening doors where the six guards from before had appeared with what looked like weapons or very large stun guns. Firing blasts over her shoulder, Shego aimed to create a pathway blockage at least, only for them to run out of running space. Shego went on defense and began blasting, hoping they could double back out one of the now open walls. The guards surged forward and as a shock hit her, she realized they were not just stun-guns but some sort of electric rays. She flew back a few feet but stood her ground and she blasted the gun out of one of their hands. It was short lived as another fired at them, but they kept moving around the messes she'd made to double back the other side. One guard hit Gil with the ray but it didn't seem to do much, only give Gil enough time to throw the guard with ease.
“Well at least we got him on our side,” said Camille as a guard flew and took out two others, “I've been saying for years we need more muscle... henchmen and bodyguards are not keeping up.”
“Well I guess mutated bodyguards is the next step,” said Shego sarcastically.
“I don't like that,” said Adrena.
“I'm not sharing,” scoffed Gil, almost guarding the bottle in his pocket.
“We don't want you too,” said Shego confidently as another electrical charge hit near her, she blasted towards them but like before it did little more than shove them off a bit.
A loud guttural sound came from Gil and something that looked like slime and bile hit the guard with the robotic face, sticking them to the pillar of the wall.
“Disgusting,” said Adrena making a gag noise.
“This day just keeps getting... weirder,” cringed Shego, “Now he can make more potent stuff.”
“Normally I'd say Ew, but it worked,” countered Camille as another blast flew passed them and she screamed and moved behind Gil, “Do that slime thing some more.”
“Better idea,” said Gil, and he charged forward and began tossing the guards.
Shego sprinted, and shoved the other two with her as they cleared through the opening in the wall as past the guards. Shego fired another blast as electricity hit her, it stopped as Gil tossed the guard back into the tanks... a loud cracking noise began to echo as they stood in the corridor. They all paused momentarily as the massive tank let out a loud squeal and erupted.
“Great,” groaned Shego and they began running as the water gushed right into them.
The rushing water sent them flying down they tunnels a good twenty feet into the turning wall where it tapered off. Shego hissed at the pain in her shoulder from the concrete she'd been slammed into, but there wasn't much time to recoup or hesitate as the lights went out. Clearly the electric had been cut due to the water breakage, thankfully. Suddenly a wailing alarm began to blaring and red emergency lights flickered on and off giving the only illumination in the dark and now watery tunnels. Shego got to her feet and looked for the other three who had gone flying with her. Gil was already on his feet and had, the water had not effected him in the slightest. Adrena was helping Camille up but the thinner than normal women had clearly taken a pretty hard hit and there was a darker liquid along her leg that could be seen in the red flickering lights.
“Any clue which way from here?” asked Shego as she looked at Gil.
“The tunnels we entered through should start near here... I think,” Gil's glowing red eyes darted to the ground below them, “The water sounds like its coming in from the left... so we go right and towards the source.”
Shego wasn't about the question his ability to know or hear water flow below them or even if he was right... it was the only knowledge she had to go with.
“Let's go then,” said Shego as the sound of footsteps could be heard approaching.
“I need help,” said Adrena, and Shego looked to where she was helping Camille stand.
“We need to move fast,” said Shego as she went to the other side of Camille, “Can you walk at all?”
“I'm trying,” hissed Camille as she attempted to do so and let out a muffled yelp, “I did something to my knee.”
They managed to move a few feet before the weight of Camille began to slow they hobbling pace they'd attempted. Shego looked to where Gil was a greater distance in front of them and glared.
“Gil!” snapped Shego, surprisingly the red eyes looked back at her, “Some help here.”
There was a grumbling growl of annoyance but he cleared the distance he'd gone and was suddenly very close to them. He practically shoved she and Adrena aside and tossed Camille over his shoulder.
“Excuse me,” gasped Camille, “I am not a sack of potatoes.”
“Potatoes weight more,” scoffed Gil, he looked at Adrena and Shego, “Can we go now?”
Shego didn't reply but instead began running in the direction they had momentarily delayed. Adrena and Gil ran withing the same speed as her as they rounded a corner, the sound of splashing fading as the water died off behind them. As they rounded a bend, Shego glanced behind her to make sure Adrena wasn't too far behind she and Gil, and in that brief moment, she slammed into someone running in their direction. The loud noise and yell beside her indicated that Gil had done the same, and in another painful blow, Adrena rand right into both of them. Shego flared her hands in defense, ready to fight whatever security they just hit and whose hands were on either side of her arms.
“Shego?”
The green glow and flickering red light illuminated the last person she'd expected to run into, literately, in these tunnels. Drakken looked at her with wide eyes, his grip increasing to gently squeeze her arms as he was in just as much shock at seeing her.
“What are you doing here?” they both asked in unison.
“Oh wow, what are the odds,” said Adrena.
“Oi, get off me,” came the Scottish accent of another familiar face. Shego looked to see Duff shoving away Gil, “Aye, not one of those again!”
Drakken seemed to have looked towards Gil at Duff's statement, his eyes going wider.
“It's a long story but we have more important things to worry about,” Shego waved her hands, “Mainly security, robots, and whatever else is in this hornets nest.”
“There was a room of those,” said Gil.
“What?” asked Camille, her head peaking around from behind Gil, “There are giant bees?”
“Not as many as before,” muttered Gil and Shego chose not to inquire.
“So he's with you guys then?” asked Drakken. Shego shrugged, “We have a lot to talk about.”
“Agreed... but let's get out first,” stated Shego as she could hear splashing approaching behind them.
“Why are you still standing there,” said Gil as he and Camille were already yards ahead of them.
They all glanced at each-other before sprinting in the same direction Gil had vanished down a different corridor. Her mind was racing about the odds they'd all end up in the same place on the same evening but as she glanced at Drakken he'd seemed more shocked she was there than the others. Glancing at where Duff was tossing back explosives every so often, she wondered if they had planned the team up or if Drakken had chanced a solo mission. The copious amount of labs and storage around, she wondered who actually owned this place.
“Not to bring this up,” panted Adrena as she seemingly grabbed Shego's arm for stability as stumbled another turn, “Once we reach this exit... then what?”
Shego glanced back as guards came into view and she saw a charging electrical light.
“Down!” yelled Shego as she gripped Drakken and Adrena's arm and pushed them down just as a blast flew over them and hit a beam causing a crack, “Great, now the robots are charging them.”
“Robots?” asked Drakken.
“Oh well, then I don't feel as bad,” said Duff as he began tossing more golf balls as he got to his feet.
Shego hastened to her feet and yanked Drakken and Adrena with her before resuming their escape. Drakken's grip on her hand didn't loosen as they began running to where Gil, still carrying Camille, seemed to be waiting... or ran out of places to run.
“You have a point Adrena,” huffed Shego as they skidded to a halt at the end of the corridor, a large doorway stood heavily secured, “Now what?”
“Vents?” suggested Camille looking up.
“Waterway,” stated Gil as he pointed along the floor where a line of vents were, “If you don't mind some burns--”
“Better idea,” smirked Shego as she pulled her hand from Drakken's and grabbed some of Duff's gulf balls from his hands.
“Oi!” yelled Duff, but Shego had a thought... a dangerous and potentially stupid thought.
“Flower! Get the door,” yelled Shego.
She didn't hear what Drakken had said or even if Flower could get the door, but it had done more damage on an alien ship that a simple metal wall. Shego began tossing the golf balls down the water drains and which a concentrated blast... the combustible liquid did just that... combust. A line of flames erupted, getting a bit of Shego's hair and singing a part of her suit as she was yanked backwards by the very appendage she'd ordered to worry about the exit. A cold breeze hit her as the night sky came into view and then ground. Flower had presumably opened the door and in the haste of exiting, they'd all run out, or in Shego's and Camille's case... carried out. Unfortunately it was dark and the emergency exit they had used was on a rocky downhill path. Flower's grip on her tightened as they all seemed to be sliding and tumbling down the steep path. She wasn't sure how far they'd slid before a vine net seemed to catch them and Shego finally was able to take in her sights.
The path had left to a cliff, a cliff that showed crashing waves in the darkness illuminated by moonlight below. The only thing that had stopped them from falling was Flower's makeshift net, and as Shego tore her eyes from the waters below she looked at the figures around her. Adrena was clutching the vines for dear life, Duff was attempting to scurry backwards. Gil was using a rock to climb off the net, Camille was actually a few feet up holding onto a rogue tree growing from the incline, obviously having fallen off in the steep tumble. Shego looked around her but didn't see Drakken despite Flower aiding her to her feet.
“Drakken?” hissed Shego.
“Kind of busy Shego,” came Drakken's voice from under the vine net, “Hope everyone's brushed up on rock climbing.”
She looked down through the vines and sat Drakken with his arms crossed swinging below them as if hanging from a parachute. Shego attempted to get back off the net and cling to a rock, she looked to where Adrena had not moved and reached out a hand to her. Adrena relinquished her hold on the net and took Shego's offered hand.
“Well that's a freaky help,” snorted Adrena in a tired voice as the net began to uncoil itself and Flower spun around the large boulder Shego was clinging too.
“Now what?” asked Camille from above them.
“We climb, lass,” said Duff as he gestured to the robe that Flower made.
“I would appreciate some haste as well,” called Drakken from where Shego could no longer see him in the dark below.
“I'll meet you all down there,” stated Gil and in a second he'd vanished only for a lout splash and Drakken to scream below them.
Shego rolled her eyes and gestured to Adrena to start climbing down.
This is has been the longest day...
–X
The sun seemed to be a continuous light fading behind them as they flew. While hours transpired, they stayed ahead of the sunrise. Shego looked not to far off where Drakken flew the other hovercar, his eyes met hers, equally as tired as her own. A half smiled was given and returned from him, a nonverbal agreement that sleep sounded welcome. Though, how sound a sleep it would be was still pending. They'd managed to reach where both she and Drakken had hid the hovercars mere feet apart, unlike Duff's boat... which had ended up being discovered by Possible and Stoppable... which had led the mad golfer to double-back and ask for a lift, which was agreed for him to just stay at the lair... which had somehow turned into everyone heading back to the lair. It didn't make sense to fly back to the spa to drop off the others... while Shego wasn't overly keep on any of them visiting her home... one in particular raised more concerns.
Shego glanced to the people in her hovercar, glad she and Drakken had switched, four people would have been too much for the craft she'd originally taken. Gil sat next to her and holding the glass bottle that gave off an eerie glow as if it were the most precious thing he'd ever held. He still remained in his mutant form despite having drank the other bottle... a reality that was slowly sinking in that his 'cure' was not what she'd originally thought.
Despite her misgivings, she couldn't just dump him in the middle of the ocean and not expect him to resume his stalking but for revenge this time instead of assistance. Shego looked over her shoulder to where Camille and Adrena had fallen asleep, Adrena slumped against the seat while Camille was curled up on the seat, her injured leg now wrapped in the remains of Gil's black shirt. She scanned over Gil and the liquid again and then back to Drakken's hovercar where he was engaged in a conversation with Duff. She looked ahead again and knew there was still a good distance from the lair.
“So, that liquid you got there...” Shego trailed off and looked at Gil.
“Hopefully I wont need it, but just in case the other beaker wasn't enough,” said Gil, “If not, I might have to go back there when I run out.”
Shego thought back to the Villain's Inn and how he'd tested the previous chemical he'd gotten on others and an idea came to mind. There was a chemical duplication machine at the lair and a good ploy to control any fall out from helping the young man next to her.
“I'm assuming you don't exactly have a controlled environment to contain that or duplicate it do you?” sighed Shego.
Gil looked at her with curiosity and his content expression faltered as he looked at the bottle.
“You can keep it at our lair. We have no use for it but if need be there's a device there to duplicate the formula,” said Shego. Gil's brow furrowed and she shrugged, “Or don't. Hopefully the chemicals hold up in whatever bog you plan to dwell in.”
“Pft, you expect me to just trust you?” scoffed Gil, “I don't exactly have faith in anyone with a lab.”
“Whatever, its your little chemical soup,” stated Shego, “Just don't expect another team up, that was ridiculous... and don't waste it on another Villain's Inn experiment.”
“I only did that to test what I'd found... clearly it wasn't the same mixture of sludge I needed,” grumbled Gil.
Shego let the silence fall and kept a mental note to try again later, regardless the sludge in question would be at least locked in the lab until everyone left the lair. She glanced back at the two sleeping women and sighed, this wasn't exactly the group she'd ever imagined being the first to be invited to where she and Drakken lived, but there was no turning back now. Especially as the cliff-side came into view revealing their tucked away cliff lair. The white color looking only like an illusion by the slowly lighting sky. It was clear by Drakken's direction that he was choosing to land on the balcony and Shego followed suite. She landed only a few feet from Drakken as there wasn't much room for both to be parked up there but she wasn't about to fly into the bay and share an elevator with her company all the way up.
“Alright, get out,” said Shego as she lept out of the hovercar and cringed at the pain in her body.
I need to hot bath...
She looked at where Drakken and Duff were talking and to where Gil, Adrena, and Camille were getting out over her vehicle and sighed.
Not today.
“I think she can walk,” said Adrena hastily, Shego looked to where Gil had moved towards Camille who was clutching her leg.
“Fine,” shrugged and he withdrew his stance with little care.
“Actually, I could use some help,” interjected Camille. Adrena tried to exchange a look with Camille, but the other didn't reciprocate, “My legs throbbing.”
Shego couldn't help but note that in the morning light and without the adrenaline, Camille looked much thinner and paler than she'd last remembered. Despite this, it was clear she was still using her normal facade to keep up appearances, but not enough to turn away an offer to be carried... even if it was by someone as questionable as Gil. Shego supposed after he'd carried her while escaping already, any disdain the former heiress might have had from Gil's swampish features, were mute.
“There's only two guestrooms on the main level,” said Drakken, Shego looked at him.
“Camille and Adrena can share mine,” yawned Shego, “I don't feel like giving a tour through the floors, do you?”
“No,” agreed Drakken, “Where are you going-- Nevermind.”
Shego snorted as Drakken answered his own internal questions.
“There's a lot of flowers,” said Duff as he took in the waking vines, “Have you created a weedkiller for them yet... there starting to infringe more on my golf course.”
“We'll talk about that later,” hasted Drakken as Shego noted some of the flowers perked up as Duff's words, “Let me show you to your room.”
“Speaking of rooms, you three follow me,” said Shego, “Camille and Adrena you can stay in my room, Gil... there's a guest room for you but for safe keeping... no sludge goo unattended.”
Gil's brow furrowed and he looked at his shorts pocket before grumbling under his breath but the three followed Shego inside. She knew she'd be able to put the jar in the lab while she grabbed some medical bandages for Camille's leg after showing them their rooms.
–X
Drakken laid on his bed and watched the small stream of light from a small crack in the curtains, dance across the ceiling. He'd washed up slightly, but was in no mood for a shower, and he'd remembered to set the security to high given the guests residing at the moment... but despite exhaustion, sleep hadn't come yet. A whirl of questions and replays danced in his head. What were all those labs and mini lairs doing clustered together, was Bortel hiding something, why had the naked mole rat not given him away, and how on earth did Shego end up there tonight? His racing questions slowed as he heard his bedroom door open and saw Shego close the door behind her. Her hair seemed damp and she wore mismatched clothes which led him to believe she's at least washed her hair.
“Shego--” he was cut off as she flopped on the bed as well, half her body on him, “Done playing nurse?”
“Really she needs stitches but she almost kicked me in the face at the suggestion... so lets hope the glue holds,” Shego's voice was muffled from where her face was buried in his arm, “She's Adrena's problem now.”
“So... the spa day?” asked Drakken.
“I want a spa built in the lair... and one of the henchmen is going to message school because I will not deal with this... again,” Shego turned to look at him, “Gil crashed our spa day... told us Camille was being held captive... its a long story but I'm going to need your help getting him to relinquish that bottle of mystery so we can avoid another Villain's Inn situation.”
“Oh, so that was him?” asked Drakken, “I assumed he was just a left over victim... his names Gil?”
“Mmhmm,” Shego's eyes closed as she hummed, “I'll explain it all later.... and Duff?”
“Bortel has a new lab there and I decided to get the files on the Mood Ring... Duff was robbing him and we ran into each other when he was trying to evade Possible,” sighed Drakken, “But agreed... we talk about it later.”
There was a silent moment and Drakken started to drift off.
“You stink,” sighed Shego. Drakken rolled his eyes.
“I think that smell is from you,” retorted Drakken. Shego went to get up but Drakken wrapped his arms around her, “Might be me.”
“Let agree its both and deal with it later,” huffed Shego, but she'd already closed her eyes again and made no more efforts to move.
Both drifted off fairly quickly, putting an end from a very long and exhausting day. Neither aware just how long their guests were going to overstay their welcome or what the day may or may not have set in motion at the lairs that now lay in ruin on an island hours away. For now... they slept.

Post "Mind Games" Season 1, episode 8. I was thinking of doing it in reverse but it fits that very specific episode. Original Meme: Link

My life changed when I realized "I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship" has been my favorite ship trope since I was 10 and idk how to feel about that.

Drakken: And now, you will witness the world-altering power of my latest doomsday creation, the Ankle-Biter! Kim: The what? Drakken: It will be my most effective weapon yet! At the push of a button, millions of blood-sucking mosquitoes will be released! Everyone will be so covered in welts that I'll have no trouble infiltrating key economic infrastructures! Ron: How are they different from normal mosquitos? Drakken: Heh? Ron: Mosquitos already suck blood, so...how are these ones different? Drakken: They're...ngh...it's... Oh, it just sounds more evil to call them blood-sucking, all right! Ron: And you know, I heard this rumor that only the female mosquitoes bite, so I hope you looked into that. Drakken: Henh? Kim: And how will you get them to bite only people's ankles? Drakken: It's just a name! Ngh, I've had enough of this. Shego! Activate the Ankle-Biter! Shego: Wait, Dr. D.-- Drakken: No more buts, Shego! This plan will work, so don't try to stop me! Shego: No no, I just want to know where the camcorder is. So I can have a record of this epic failure to show you later the next time you try using insects for world domination. Drakken: Nnh! Fine I'll do it myself. And now, Kim Possible...prepare to feel the bite! *pushes the button* Drakken: ...WAAAAHH! Ron: Ooooh, ouch. I hope he has enough itch cream for all those bites. Kim: See, I knew they couldn't be trained to bite ankles.
