Drako Dragon, 2026. The second model from the Californian electric car maker has been revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The hyper SUV has been designed by Lowie Vermeersch and his GranStudio team in Italy based on a based on a carbon-fibre structure that is lighter and stronger than conventional SUVs. The quad motor powertrain produces a massive 2,000hp providing 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration in 1.9 seconds, a 9-second quarter mile, and a top speed of over 200 mph (322 km/h). The Drako Dragon has a list price of $290,000 with reservations open and first deliveries scheduled for 2026

Personality: An energetic and aggressive drakaiju that jumps at a chance for battle. In her element while in the water but don't make the mistake of underestimating her speed on land. She favors overwhelming force over strategy when fighting. Rainbowface spews torrents of ice and slush to freeze opponents before skewering them with her sharp nose.

Summary:

Kai Sparklemuffin finally managed to get accepted to the local university and can finally start working their way towards getting an Ecologist license and fulfilling their dream of studying feral robots in the wild. Unfortunately for them fate has other plans. Alien dragons invade and Kai finds themself bonded to a living weapon. Now saddled with the responsibility to represent the Earth in an intergalactic contest Kai has to rally the rest of their fellow Coordinators to work together to win. If only it weren’t like herding cats…

…Well. Nothing to do but to do it. The sooner Kai saves the world the sooner they can get back to their textbooks.

sorry it’s late

if I haven’t explained Lord Drako before, he’s Max’s dad. the spots all over his body are mold; he has a cordyceps-like disease and has to be quarantined for it. Queen Bakrakra and the rest of her bloodline are pretty long-lived (almost ridiculously so) but Drako ages normally, so despite being younger than Bakrakra, he’s very frail and affected by old age. As you might imagine, it was pretty devastating for Bakrakra to learn this.

Orololi don’t consider their tadpoles to be people (their tadpoles lack the reverse scale found on adults that is considered to be the seat of the soul in their culture) and thus their tadpoles are fair game as game. Tadpole fritters are a lovely treat generally enjoyed in most regions. 

But due to this, orololi tend to take land conservation and wildlife management very seriously. B/c if they overfish their babies then there won’t be any new orololi in the next generation.
