250.818! honestly more than I thught lol

Dream SMP! :] (I used to write for Good Omens on another account a bit ago but have abandoned this lol)

4. What are your top 5 fics? (stats)

I'll go by Kudos! :] Infinitesimal, Home, Treasure, Hiraeth - Part 1 and Chains! :]

5. Do you always respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! Sometimes when I don't know what to comment and it would just be a 'thank you', that i already wrote 3 times to a different person I won't. usually I try to always bring something unique to a comment to show how much I appreciate them!

However, when someone comments on a fanfiction that has long been finished I usually don't reply cause I'm not sure if that would be seen as weird or not. I'm really insecure when it comes to replying comments cause I don't wanna be annoying

6. Angstiest ending for a fic?

Oof... i think it's Home (but it's more on the bittersweet one) or Time. But if you put them next to each other it's deffo Time. Hubert is also kinda angsty but the story is kinda fast paced that it doesn't feel angsty lol

7. First Fic with a Happy Ending?

Golden! My first ever DNB fic and therefore also the first one with a happy ending! :]

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Yeah! That's why I have to agree to comments for them to be public on my fanfictions! It's always anon and usually just people calling me names and slurs, trying to tell me what a horrible person I am lol

9. Do you write smut?

Yes! I really enjoy reading smut and also like writing it! I'm not good in it and I'm always frustrating a bit but I still enjoy it!

10. Do you write crossovers?

Ehhh, not really? But also yes...? I wrote a pokemon crossover, but I don't think that doesn't really count cause it's more an AU and none of the main characters of the anime/games appear except for Team Rocket. I think. I don't remember which villains I took, there are a lot.

I usually don't write crossovers because I'm unsure how good I can represent the other show. I'd love to write a Star Wars one or a Hogwarts one, but I am NOT into those movies and am too scared to write something that doesn't make sense. So usually I try to take apsects of those universes and try to turn it into my own kinda thing.

For example my Dragon Rider-AU that I am working on was supposed to be a Hogwarts AU with magic, but it kinda turned into it's own thing with focus on Dragons but still with magic! :D

11. Ever had a fic stolen?

Don't think so? If anyone ever sees any of my fanfictions somewhere that's not AO3 please tell me! But as far as I'm aware none was stolen! :]

12. Ever had a fic translated?

Yes! I think Infinitesimal was started to translate in two languages, but I'm not sure if that's still happening. I know some chapters were uploaded? And apparently someone wanted to translate Apocylapse into russian!

Nope! Don't really know how that works tbh lol

Dreamnoblade and DNF!

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but probably never will?

OOF. I have sworn to myself to always finish what I start to write so not sure. Some ideas probably will never happen, but usually when I start writing something I will finish it sooner or later, specially when I started posting it somewhere

No clue, I don't know if I have a specific strength. Sometimes I like something I write and then I read it and hate it lol

18. Thoughts on dialog in another language in a fic?

I write in english but think about including german sometimes lol When Attack on titan can do it in their openings I can do it in my fanfiction! Usually I like it as long as the translation is given atp in the fanfiction! :D

I'm not sure. Potentially The Casino's Hound since c!Dream is still trapped and the sequel is pretty much abandoned.

I was busy with an assignment for English, so I was reading like I was eating fast food but also trying to be classy abt it. I failed to be graceful but I made some friends today :D. There’s also 2 big tests on Wednesday so I’m sweating…

Anyways I want to have a cool outfit for my fanart✨. Struggling tho cause I need to balance simplicity with my slap a “ribbon on it” mentality. I’ve reached a middle ground. I get lace-like arm wrappings and maybe a leg band. >>>>:)

how did you get into both dreamnap and dreamnoblade? where is the connect and the appeal, i really want to know.

ive answered a pretty similar question to this before (which you can read here) but since this is asking for both dreamnap and dreamnoblade, ill try to answer as best and as detailed as i can. please note that some parts will be a direct copy of my previous post, but all in all this is pretty much the entirety of my dsmp experience, meaning there's lots of new Ry lore™ to read about lmao

so, without further ado,

here's a real-time recap of my slow decent to madness pt. 2 (aka falling in love with Dreamnap and DNB, then starting a side blog dedicated to these two amazing ships™)

includes reaction memes for funsies and also to provide a visual for all of my recent emotions as i traverse the dsmp fandom firsthand

ok, let's gooooooooo

starting this off with how i got into dsmp in general. so i actually knew about dsmp way back when the fandom was just starting (bc who didn't? this fandom was the talk of the town (derogatory) given the hate most people gave it for being #cringe) ive seen the way other fandoms have clowned dsmp fans (mainly dream stans) and i for one, did not enjoy being clowned at, so yeah i dipped and did not look into the lore too much given the circumstances. at that time, i didn't really know anyone except for c!dream given that he was the one (1) character that piqued my interest, and he stuck to me bc of the smiley face mask and i really liked the fanarts i saw of him back then, even when i had no interest to join the fandom back then.

so flashforward to the year 2022 where nothing is real except for the eraser shavings on my desk and the half finished wips collecting pixelated dust on my laptop for months and boom i was reintroduced to dsmp but this time there was interest bc this time around, i was reintroduced to c!dream via a really nice animation by sadist and since i had no other fandom to hyperfixate on during these trying time, my lizard brain was all like:

but as soon as i consumed every sadist dsmp animation known to man, i realized something very quickly, my love for c!dream is all encompassing, but there's still room in my heart for maybe two (2) more characters, which i why i was led to the simple conclusion of finding more characters to love and cherish along with dream, hence why i found sap and techno, my two other beloved.

so my love for dream, sapnap, and techno is rooted on the fact that i personally love all of their character designs, also i just find it quite fascinating how powerful and dangerous their characters are individually, and at that moment, my brain went decided to ask me a question that would change everything:

my brain 🧠: what would they be like together?

me 🤡: you mean like a team, right? platonically??

my brain 🧠, crackling: no.

[cue alarm bells ringing in my head]

so yeah, the possiblity of shipping c!dream with the two other characters ive come to know and love was now a very big possibility (mainly bc i want my fav boy (c!dream) to be loved and cherished, and who better to love and cherish c!dream than my two other favs???) <- sound logic, me thinks.

so after maybe two hours of looking for fanarts of the characters dubbed as a green teletubby, an arsonist, and the blood god (all in that order) ive found etcetera art's insta and twt account, full of amazing fanarts of all three of them, and i knew i was onto something when i wanted to see all three of them together...

(note that scavenging through twt for a dsmp fanart is a nightmare if you don't really care abt the other characters, bc let me tell you, you will end up finding more fanarts of that character than who you were looking for in the first place)

so a lot more digging around and i found out something very important about sap and techno when it comes to dream:

for sapnap: "And they're childhood friends in the lore. oh man, they're childhood friends in the lore???"

and for techno: "And they're rivals in the lore. oh man, they're rivals in the lore????"

i zoomed in on these two facts immediately and began my quest to look for more animatics, fanarts, and even fanfiction focusing on two things: dream and sap's dynamic AND dream and techno's dynamic. i looked for content regarding their rivalry and friendship and i even found the tags #rivalstwt / #rivalsduo (for dream and techno, which i initially thought was considered both platonic and romantic, so you could imagine the sheer devastation i felt after finding out on the same day that shipping them is not in fact considered "morally acceptable")

and for sap and dream, i found the tag #dreamnap (which, as it turns out is not as popular or as widely accepted as i thought it would be, surprising given that dreamnap oozes childhood friends to lovers so much, i thought everyone loved childhood friends to lovers???)

(me, as soon as i realized i was the only one in the c!technodreamnap agenda, i will not be stopped)

initially i was ok with the whole platonic rivalry (for techno and dream) and the friendship (for sap and dream), but the more i was fed this idea that shipping c!dream and c!techno is wrong, the more i felt compelled to like it. and the lack of fan works for dreamnap was getting to me, i was itching to make my own fics for these two ships the moment my two braincells connected and formed a critical thought.

plus, i already knew i was going to fall in love with BOTH dreamnap and dnb (bc dnf is just so boring and this ship never appealed to me even back then plus karlnapity isn't for me, i dont like q and k lmao) the moment i found out that they're the three strongest characters in the dsmp lore + the other canon events in the story like doomsday and the life debt dnb keep owing each other throughout each important event is enough fuel for me to keep this ship sailing, and the fact that despite how they only consider each other as business partners, c!techno still rescued c!dream from prison knowing the risk and c!dream still remembers the mountain where they first met (how am i not going to romanticize this? how??)

and then there's the fall of dremanap in the canon lore, the heavy implications, the angst, and the fact that no matter what happens, they are each other's downfall as much as they love and care for the other (that's some very fucked up trope that we all need in a childhood friends to enemies to lovers dynamic, imho)

so in conclusion, my love for dreamnap and dnb started from curiosity that led to shock and bitterness that fueled my spite and the burning need to consume and create content for the only two (2) ships that i actually find interesting in this entire fandom.

it's a crime that there's so little content for these two ship, a crime i tell you!

so yes, im BOTH a dreamnap and a dnb shipper and my entire side blog is dedicated to block men: 500k words, slow burn, childhood friends to enemies to lovers as well as rivals to rivals to lovers, pining, angst with a happy ending, doomsday husbands and chaos husbands 😌❤️💚🤍

Dream met Wilbur in college, when George was plotting how to get XD expelled and Sapnap was busy matchmaking Quackity and Karl.

He was sitting under a tree. When a man, with brown hair wearing a blue beanie and a brown cardigan, walks toward him with a razor sharp smile.

Apparently Dream was challenging his position as his 'precious' brother 's older brother. He declared war and walked away.

He didn't even introduce himself or say what his brother's name was. He left with Dream blankly staring at his back.

How can Dream threaten his position when he doesn't even know who his brother is?

Additional notes:

This is part of a light hearted mafia au

They kill people and destroy stuff but it's mostly gloss over

In this au Dream and Techno met because of Wilbur (well Tommy really)

It starts because of How Wilbur keeps annoying Tommy using the reason he is the older brother

Tommy complains to Tubbo and Ranboo about how annoying Wilbur is

Ranboo tells how lucky he was that he has Dream as a brother figure(Dream is related to him thought his father side)

Tubbo who is related to Schlatt because he is his uncle knows Dream because Schlatt is related to Puffy who is related to Dream

Tommy got a bright idea

He takes a photo of Dream from Ranboo and shows to Wilbur saying Dream was a better brother figure than him

It leads to a fight where Wilbur tries to one up Dream only for Dream to win without even knowing

Wilbur approached Dream to official declare war

Hearing about this Ranboo apologize and introduce both Tubbo and Tommy to Dream

With lights turned off, Dream is laying in bed and staring at the ceiling. Cursing the gods he doesn't even believe in for making him fall for his rival and his, which he won't even admit under the pain of death, bestfriend.

Technoblade.

Rustling and tuds, alarming noise coming from outside his window. It sounds like someone is climbing his roof. Okay a burglar trying to break into his house and steal is not the worst to happen.

The slams the window and curtains open, which he forgot to lock. Dream narrows his eyes, trying to adjust to the light coming from the window.

George, wearing his white glasses and favorite blue shirt with a red and white design, jumps in.

"Technoblade asked about you" George said, staring at Dream judgingly as if he didn't try to get XD expelled before he found out he likes him.

Hypocrite. Dream is going to call him out on his bul—

SLAM!

Sapnap kicks the door open when it was not even locked. It slammed loud against the wall.

"DREAM STOP—" Sapnap shouts, not even apologizing for trying to break Dream's door.—"Oh you're already here George"

Sapnap turns back to Dream, glaring at him "Dream stop avoid Technoblade."

"Sapnap, stop trying to break my door. George, you also have a key. Use it." Dream ignores everything they said. He turns his back to them and covers his entire body with his blanket.

"So you're just going to avoid him for the rest of your life"

Dream closes his eyes. He wishes loudly in his head for them to get a clue.

"Dream"

"Dream"

"Dream"

When Dream still didn't move no matter how many times they called his name. George turns on the lights and Sapnap turns off the aircon. They silently stare at Dream and wait until he gets hot enough to take off the blanket.

Dream knows what they are doing. It's a routine. George turns on the lights and Sapnap turns off the aircon.

"FINE! YOU WIN! I'LL TALK"

And Dream takes off the blacket.
