yk, sometimes i try to gaslight myself into believing duncan wasn't actually still into courtney in all stars and the whole obsession with whether she still cared or not was just an ego thing. it makes sense since his whole arc was about proving he was still a bad guy and, in his mind, bad guys get attention from girls. but then i remember that it's been at least A WHOLE YEAR since they've broken up and since he's been dating gwen. and their whole relationship seemed pretty sour right off the bat. and the fucking eye twitch when he says he's sure courtney is only using scott to make him jealous. and the fact that if someone fucked with courtney (i.e. harold) he'd go out of his way to torment that person but when gwen was constantly being called a villain, he barely tried to comfort her. he even thought she was actively targeting courtney as well.

i'm sorry, your honor, but he is obsessed.
