Hermitcraft Fans are on another level

One of the best little things I notice about the Hermitcraft fanbase is when a hermit is like "Oh, how will I be able to do XYZ in Minecraft?", and within 24 hours after the video comes out, there's at least 1 youtube comment or subreddit post who's like

"hi. i figured out how to do XYZ in Minecraft, here are the steps. I even created a website so viewers can do XYZ in their own Minecraft worlds :) "

You know, being in this fanbase has made me seen things I'd never thought I'd see in minecraft. Like, I just saw a reddit post of someone playing tennis with falling 'chickens as a suggestion to Keralis's tennis game. I love how the genius-ness aren't just in the creator-side, but the fan-side too.

Story time

(It’s trafficblr related)

So I was in a lab doing an experiment with someone for uni where we got 2 different beans planted at different heights and measured them blah blah blah

And they were planted in a substrate that wasn’t soil but had bigger chunks of something, I can’t remember the name

When me and my lab partner emptied out the pot to get the beans, they said “this material is cool, it’s like bits of tree bark”

I literally stood there for half a second like:

Then I turned normal again and said “hah, yea”
