Chapter 9: Devilish Woman / The Evil Girl (魔性の女) 22 September 1997 (Volume 2)
The Cover features Luffy and Zoro in an unknown location, though it's very similar to Windmill Village (Foosha Village), Luffy's hometown.
Luffy plays in the background, hanging from a tree, while Zoro uses a cow/bull as a seat while taking care of his swords.
In this Chapter, Nami starts by praising Luffy and asking him to join forces to steal from Pirates. Luffy refuses.
They go back and forth for a while, Luffy gaining interest in Nami when she explains her objective and her plans to go to Grand Line... and Nami losing her interest completely when he tells her that he is a pirate.
Nami betrays Luffy and offers him to Buggy, with the objective of infiltrating Buggy's crew and stealing his treasure and the Grand Line Map.
Zoro (with the help of other Buggy Pirates) arrives to Orange Town and intends to ask Buggy information about Luffy's whereabouts.

Why do Africans not get cancer as much as other races?
You know…. I was taking with somebody about a very similar issue this week. When I saw this question, I instantly remembered what the friend has said to me:
``An Ethiopian rich is an American poor, an American rich is an Ethiopian poor``.
Hoping that you know of Ethiopia (an African country), here is why he said this: most people in the Africa do not have access to the chemicals that enhance agricultural production. Thus, many Africans consume what in the Western world is considered to be an organic food i.e. food that is not altered by synthetic chemicals. Though I am not a nutritionist, I believe the chemicals they use in Western agriculture have a feature of enhancing production, but can not imporve the quality of the food i.e. the nutrients in it. The usage of synthetic chemicals in the processing of food is also thought to be among the principal causes of cancer. People in Western countries do not produce their own food; they consume what is provided to them by large-scale agricultural enterprises who enhance their production in the aforementioned manner. Thus many people are obese (due to lack of genuine nutrients in the food they consume) and are more prone to diseases like cancer.
I believe that in Africa, in general, we do not have money to buy these chemicals. Most people consume what they themselves produced. Food is often meager, but satisfactory; many people do not eat to the point of gluttony (which is acutally very taboo). It also makes you much less prone to the cancerous substances they contaminate Western food with. The rich people in the West appreciate the merit of this, and they have access to organic food that the poorer sections of their society lack. In contrast, the richer, more urbanized sections of African society actually consume a comparatively Western diet compared to the general public, and they tend to be fatter.
In some African countries, food isn`t very abundant, and the main thing that rich people do is eating a lot of food. Thus, a bulkier, obese person you may see in the streets is always thought to be someone who has a lot of money. In Western countries, they stress themselves out to distance themselves from food in order to have a leaner body shape. This parody is well known and many people in Ethiopia laugh about it.

things I have mentally accumulated on this road trip so far that’s resume worthy:
- professional pothole avoider
- crying from laughing as siri reads the most unhinged texts from friends out loud (ex. siri reading a text from grace saying that josh had on his build-a-bear shoes)
- making friends by taking turns passing each other for literally 100 miles??? literally me and this one guy passed each other so many times to the point of laughing when we would do it like. I have a new best friend actually
- sobbing in a bad way over how big this fucking country is
- befriending every single cow telepathically and telling them I love them

i think western au kyle would be more affiliated with his Mexican roots and his heritage from his dads side. Los Angeles and California used to be under Mexican territory in the early 1800s and the the vaqueros traveled north and brought their lifestyle with them (which later influenced the more widely recognized usa cowboy culture). Growing up in a cattle ranch where he learned to ride horses from a young age and heard cattle with his dad or under someone else's pay

Team Of The Week
Grass roots football is poles apart from the pampered world of the elite game. The almost endless rain that we have endured over the last couple of months has meant that many non league teams are faced with a backlog of fixtures, a situation exacerbated by the refusal of the FA and their associated league committees to extend the season. So much for a duty of care to players. The situation…
