Today’s Independence day.

今日はアメリカの独立記念日。

いつもなら基地(ベース)に遊びに行ったり、騒いだり、又は、家でそれ「らしい」物を作ったりするLyraですが、今年は、Covid-19もあってベースの祭りwもないし、大人しく食べ行くくらいにしておこう(って結局、出掛けるや〜ん)。

でも気分だけは、それ「らしく」盛り上げよう、と浮かんだのが、この曲。

Edieの半音ズレてるような歌い方が好き。

時々棚ひっぱり出して来ては、彼女の声を聴きたくて、Edie Brickell & the New Bohemiansのデビューアルバムを聴いてまったりする。

優しく歌うのは、あの人の曲。

Bob Dylanもずれまくる歌い��するが、Edieも負けてない。

自分の世界観で歌っているのだ。

サウンドトラックに使われた曲なのも頷ける。
