Platform Trolley: The Most Useful Warehouse Equipment
A warehouse is a place where you have to work harder to manage products efficiently, if you don’t arrange them correctly they will occupy more space. In a warehouse you have to shift several items regularly, this can be difficult if done manually and also consumes a lot of energy that will reduce your productivity. The best solution for reducing your efforts and saving your energy isthe Platform trolley, which is also known as a hand truck trolley.
How to Choose the Right Platform Trolley for You
Most of the time the main purpose of using a platform trolley remains the same which is shifting items from one place to another. There may be various needs of a business that should be considered. This is the reason why platform trolleys have a wide set of uses and functionality that increases their importance in business. Several factors influence it, i.e. nature, weight, shape, size of the product, etc.
A warehouse platform trolley is considered high quality if is constructed with sturdy material that has no sharp edges. Platform trolley comes in various weight segment ranges from 25 kg to 2000 kg. So, you can choose according to your business need. The base of the trolley can be constructed with metal, wood, or abs plastic. Platform trolleys with ABS Plastic base are the customer’s first choice as they are cheap, easy to use, and clean. Long-lasting and strong as compared to other materials. If you want to carry a material that has long lengths, you can choose to add racks to ensure product safety. The size and shape of the wheel depending on the type of surface where the trolley is supposed to be used. If you need to weigh a heavy load, go for a trolley that has wheels constructed with polyurethane material. If your trolley is going to be used on an uneven surface, you should go for a trolley that comes with air-filled pneumatic casters.
There are various types of trolleys, have a look
Platform Trolley 150 kg
Platform Trolley 300 kg
Platform Trolley 500 kg
Reputed sellers may offer you a quality product that can enhance your operating experience, helping you to capitalize on your investment.
Benefits of Platform Trolley
Transporting heavy or uneven material by hand seems to be a difficult task but this can be converted into an easy one by using a platform trolley. Most of the trolleys use ABS sheets as their surface which is strong and reliable to keep any type of load on it, no matter how heavy they are. Some of the trolleys have a rubber sheet on their surface which provides extra grip to the material. This is highly beneficial in case you have to carry a slippery material.
The quality platform trolleys are usually made of abs frame, during the process this makes them strong and reliable t use. This means they can lift any type of material regardless of their weight.
Due to the lock system, you can transport materials on slop with extreme ease. Platform trolleys are designed in such a way that they can meet different business requirements. To make transportation easy for large items, you can add a cage or coat to it. You can buy a good quality platform trolley online at a budget price at EQUAL. If you have questions let us know.

Hi Ked! Having chickens when I finally get my own place has been something I've wanted for a while (am currently putting it on hold despite in the near future acquiring said own place due to H5N1). However, I have become a little enamored of quail recently in comparison. My goal would be to have eggs and fluffy yard buddies, do you recommend either one over the other?
If you want birds that can free roam your yard, it can't be quail. They are game birds, like pheasants, and will just leave (or get immediately eaten by.... everything, but especially hawks and domestic cats.
If you don't mind having them contained, then 100% quail are a better option right now.
Quail don't take up nearly the same space; an average sized quail tower takes up approximately a 2x3 foot space, and depending on how many levels you have and how densely you populate them can hold anywhere from 15-40 quail. That amount of space cannot even house 1 chicken long term.
Quail are not NEARLY the same initial investment; on average people end up investing around $200-500 in quail equipment/caging/birds depending on how into it you want to get, and $2k+ in appropriate chicken equipment/caging/birds. These costs can vary greatly depending on how handy you are and what connections you have to acquire scrap materials, or how fancy you want to get.
Since quail are not kept on raw ground, they have MUCH fewer health problems on average- they rarely get parasites, they rarely pick up bacterial infections, they rarely pick up anything viral (and if their caging is kept in a more enclosed/covered space there is almost no chance of them picking up HPAI). Since they're contained, there's not very much chance for them to injure themselves (although like any bird, if there's a way they have the will to find it).
Their eggs are more nutritionally dense than chickens. You can compare nutrition per gram anywhere online.
They're (in my experience) more consistent layers than chickens; give them light and feed, and they will lay daily year round, only taking a break to molt in the fall.
Quail's full lifespan is shorter than chickens. This may seem like a downside, but the productive years for a chicken are generally 2-5 years, with a lifespan that should be 7-12 years. Quail have the same 2 years of production, but on average only live 3-5 years, so even if you don't want to butcher the spent hens (which most people do), you aren't caring for nonproductive birds for many years.
Quail are easy to butcher at home with almost no equipment- all you need is a hefty, sharp pair of kitchen shears, a 5g bucket (with or without a liner), and some ice water in a big bowl. No plucking, no scalding, no killing cones, nothing special for cleaning. They can be packed for freezing whole in vacuum sealed sleeves.
If you get or build rollout cages, the eggs gently roll to the front of the cage and "out" into the tray, where they can be picked up clean!
If you get or build wire-bottom cages, you don't technically have to buy bedding. Cost efficient! You can provide resting boards or have solid-bottom portions of the cage, and giving them a sand bath bin will be REALLY exciting for them.
Coturnix quail come in such a huge variety of color and patterns that you can surely find some type you like.
Both species can come with aggression issues- it takes FAR less time to breed it out of quail because they hit breeding age in a matter of weeks, not months.
The downside to quail is that most coturnix quail are not terribly cuddly. you might be able to imprint one (I did once, because my pigeons hatched him and then didn't like that, so I took Robert in), but the majority will just be cute look-don't-touch birds. They are FASCINATING to watch though, so it works out imo.
the downside to both species is. the roosters crow. terrible noises in both cases. I couldn't handle chicken roosters.
Anyway, I think that in all honesty, when MOST people are considering getting into chickens, what they ACTUALLY want is the experience of having quail. Small, cute, easy to handle/raise, genetic manipulation through generations of selective breeding easy to hatch, cute eggies. There's a LOT of people getting into chickens right now because they think it will be a solution to the expensive eggs in the supermarket, but it won't be. They'll end up spending more on the chickens than they ever would have on just getting eggs, and throw a stone in a chicken group on fb and you'll hit 17 people who have had horrific health issues related to parasites, illness, injury, predation, etc.
Meanwhile.... quail groups are largely chill and questions are usually about colors and feed/housing (since most of the problems are bad feeding habits or caging, or genetic issues).
#asks#chickens#quail#I kept chickens for like a decade#and I finally had to admit it just was not for me#Quail for me had a rough start with the quality of the birds I got#but once I corrected that.... I am having so much fun#the birds are SO cute#and they grow up so fast I don't have to deal with babies forever#they are SO much nicer#not that chickens are not great but I think you gotta REALLY be into it to do it well#and a lot of people get into it on a whim because chicks are cute#and then they turn into 3-8lb velociraptors and people are in over their heads#with waayyyyy too much invested to just give up so they spend a LOT of time and money trying to keep their heads above water

Finally committing to sharing this massive metal man, still not 100% happy with the design but i'm not gonna mess with it anymore, he gets the job done. Feel free to hit me up with design suggestions, lore questions, thoughts, etc! All of this is still a major WIP and i love getting outside input! -- This is my AU's take on Megatron, though currently he IDs as: DSM-16
The short of it: DSM-16 is a custom designed weapon build (specifically a shoulder mounted machine gun), commissioned by Convoy Solus within Tarn (Cybertron's primary military manufacturing district) to kickstart a line of specialty combat equipment mechs meant to withstand the harsher conditions of Cybertron's wilds. The DSM-16 model was crafted with a symbiotic host system in place, allowing the weapon to be synced with an assigned wielder, allowing for more efficiency/accuracy out in the field. The long of it:
DSM-16 has had 3 wielders/hosts prior to being assigned/bonded to Ironhide. The most recent of which, Commander Cyclonus, was offlinedmurdered while on mission. DSM-16 survived the ordeal and was brought back to Tarn to receive repairs and a new host. He is far too valuable and useful to be kept on the sidelines for long.
DSM-16's superiors/creators/owners assume he has no memory/archived storage of the events that led to the loss of his previous host due to the extent of the damage he received. They are wrong. DSM-16 is unconscious and still in the early stages of self-repair when he is reassigned to a young, almost fresh off the line Ironhide. Ironhide, despite having a fairly common vehicle alt mode amongst his peers, was manufactured to have a spark that could withstand a host/symbiotic bond. He has no field experience at the time of the bonding and is eons away from being DSM's equal in experience or skill. However, Ironhide is a soldier while DSM is a weapon. As such, Ironhide holds the authority, much to DSM's chagrin.
Through centuries of ruthless, lethal, and consistent work DSM has earned himself a solid reputation within Tarn (despite what he is). He is a revered and respected piece of equipment and as this new bond with Ironhide settles he will make use of what little leeway this reputation gives him.
DSM-16 is leashed to his creators and their whims, but with a fresh naive host and a new bitter sense of resentment, he will not be leashed for long.
Some additional fun facts:
DSM's visor is required to be lowered at all times when not within Ironhide's private quarters. He is also rarely ever seen in root mode outside of Ironhide's private quarters, as is expected of equipment.
DSM was built without a mouth, instead the area on his helm is fitted with additional vents to help with temperature control and filtration. He does have a voice box, but its rarely used (he only ever talks to Ironhide, and that can be done through the bond)
DSM has his own built in smelter, forge, and fuel refinery. He is capable of processing raw energon and creating his own ammo from raw materials/metals. This means he runs very hot and needs a larger portion of fuel to keep his systems running smoothly.
DSM-16's ID is a small part of a literal identification/serial number that is attached to his spark/bio-code. His creators have redefined this portion to stand for: Defensive Shoulder Mount - 16gauge
The name Megatron will eventually come from a series of inside jokes shared between him and Ironhide, when the pair make their eventual escape DSM will choose the new name as his first step towards reshaping his identity.
Megatron is not out to fix Cybertron. He has little to no attachment or regard for any mechs outside of Tarn's boundaries. His only wish is to put the means of production into his own kin's hands, meaning other weapon/host pairs within Tarn. He wants to overthrow the manufacturers who made him, he could care less about how the other cities handle their affairs. As such, the Decepticon cause will not exist within this AU as it typically does, if at all.

about your disability pride month post: is there anything important/significant you think people should take notes on when writing a character with an upper arm prosthetic? (like starting from the elbow if i phrased correctly)?
Yeah! I think the biggest is that you ought to consider first, esp if its an OC, your reasoning for making the character disabled- you wanna make sure you're not fetishizing or exploiting their disability to prop up abled characters. I've got a list of questions for authors to ask themselves along those lines that I can post or dm
Secondly, you have to consider what level of realism you wanna go with. If you have a character where, in universe, the prosthesis functions in exactly the way an arm does, you could just go with that if you want - it's the path of least resistance, right? BUT you ought to consider that most prostheses in media exist in that way AT THE EXPENSE of good representation of disability. Erasing disability or "curing" it with magical prostheses IS a form of ableism that is so pervasive it just goes unnoticed by most. I believe personally that disabled bodies are worth portraying well even when the creators of the source material did not do that. SO if you want to go with real well thought our representation, here are some common things I think authors and artists often miss (specifically as it pertains to upper limb prostheses):
1) I already said this, but seriously, I cannot emphasize enough that upper limb prosthetics ain't cheap and are usually uncomfortable. Your character, if they are poor, or even like middle class, won't have access to multiple high tech popular mechanics cover story type robo arms. Even if they did ...
2) Not all limb different folks use prosthetics! I personally have used multiple and I disliked them. I tried very hard to learn, but there are multiple requirements to be able to use each model and sometimes, a lot of times actually, limb different people - especially people without a hand or an arm function Better without prosthetics. Be aware in your art that limb different people are Whole. How you ask can somebody without an arm, say, do all that stuff?
3) Consider the idea of adaptation in your writing and art instead of relying only on magicking disability away with prosthetics. Disabled People live in a world full of barriers and tend to be Very creative about navigating it, adapting to our environment through just being a little clever about how we do things is the biggest way i see other people with upper limb differences interact with the world. There are three main ways that we go about this without prosthetics: Using adaptive equipment, Finding an alternate method, or as a last resort, asking for help.
Example 1: I have like 1.5 arms ok so obviously only 1 hand, and I need to clip my fingernails every once in a while. The obvious solution to me, while it may seem gross, is just to bite them off. Bad habit, but efficient. I could use those horrible little nail clippers, with my remaining stump and a little finagling but it takes forever. I could also get some adaptive nail clippers - they make great big handled ones for ppl that can't grab the little ones. Or, I could ask my partner to trim them, but I'm usually too proud to do that. Let disabled people have their flaws too lol!
Example 2: I love to rock climb. This is where adaptive equipment comes in. I could slip off a rock climbing wall pretty easily right? So bouldering (rock climbing without harnesses) is totally inaccessible to me. But if I go to a gym that has harnesses, then that's fine - they catch me if I fall and that's adaptive for me.
Adaptive equipment comes in many shapes and sizes and can be regular items repurposed.
3. If after all that you Must create art or write about an OC or preexisting character that uses upper limb prosthetics, consider that in general, limb different people's prosthetics are not equivalent to having two arms. Prosthetics are only practical for limb different people if they enhance your life or are useful in some way, however, getting one high tech enough to do that is unlikely because they are expensive. There are different groups, clinics, and charities that make lower cost options but they tend to be much lower tech than is depicted (and often are clunky). My first prosthetic was a long flat piece of metal, similar to a doctors tongue depressor, attached to a plaster cuff velcroed around my stump. The idea was that since I had a little bit of stump poking out, I could pin objects against the metal and it would work like a crab's pincers. It was okay, but I did accidentally smack many. Many. Things with it, including my own face and since it was metal, that was unpleasant. Obviously hindered more than helped. Also it did not look even remotely like a hand.
4. Which prosthetics you can get generally depend on what you got on you. Literally. Bodily. With upper limb prostheses, If you don't have an elbow or wrist, your options are almost exclusively limited to the pricier electric options that are both super futuristic, unavailable to many, and also like new car priced. Many of the manual, non-electric models depend on the ability to flex a wrist or elbow, so if you have those things are a little more accessible overall. It also matters whether you are born limb different like me, or if you are an amputee. Amputees are more likely to be candidates for prostheses than people like me because they have all those preexisting muscles and nerves for prosthetics that are higher tech and require surgical attachment Also prosthetics might be an easier learning curve, and more useful for somebody who has been abled bodied than it would be for somebody who never had that limb in the first place.
5. This is a little thing and ... Not to get too medical with it ( and neither should yall) but limb different people often have physical changes associated with lack of or loss of limb. If you do not have a limb, you are not going to be developing the muscles that are surrounding it in the way an a nondisabled person would. Again for example I have 1.5ish arms which means I've got plenty of stump on my "affected" limb. Even when I did Varsity sports and everything, I was never able to get beefy on that side. It is a pet peeve of mine that many people do not seem to get this - Most art I see of vash the stampede has him with two super beefy shoulders and like yeah i get it that's hot, but if hes got roughly the same amount of stump as me, he probably shouldn'tlook like that. Another thing in this vein is chronic pain is associated with limb loss and limb difference- I have it and its reasonable that any prosthetic user or nonprosthetic using limb different person is more likely to have it. Again these are little things but if you're looking to do good representation you need to consider that limb difference is not just a cool little stylistic choice to make a character look tough or what have you - limb loss and limb difference mean that that character will not only think differently than abled bodied people, but move differently, pose differently, have different routines and preferences than are ever represented in most media. Disability is not a style, and it's not a diagnosis, it's an identity. It's important above all to be respectful of that by letting go of centering able-bodied expectations and aesthetic in your art and writing. Hard to do but i believe in y'all!
Hope that helps! I've also got a bunch of links to go along with these points, if you want them lmk! I'm always happy to take asks about this stuff!
Tl;dr please consider making characters that don't use prosthetics, or don't use them excessively because it's more realistic, better representation, and makes me, a disabled dyke on the internet, really happy.
Lastly if y'all liked my advice and appreciate my time you are always welcome to tip me for it - my c*sh*pp is $neptunedrive

Cost vs. Quality: What to Consider When Investing in Switchgear
In today’s energy-intensive world, switchgear plays a critical role in managing power distribution safely and efficiently. Whether you’re upgrading your industrial facility, building a commercial plant, or powering a large infrastructure project, choosing the right switchgear is not just a technical decision — it’s a strategic investment. One of the most common dilemmas buyers face is balancing cost vs. quality. So, how do you decide?
Understanding Switchgear: The Heart of Electrical Safety
Switchgear is a combination of electrical disconnect switches, fuses, or circuit breakers used to control, protect, and isolate electrical equipment. Its primary role is to ensure the reliability and safety of your power system.
Types of switchgear include:
· Low-voltage switchgear (for commercial and residential use)
· Medium-voltage switchgear (typically for industrial applications)
· High-voltage switchgear (used in power transmission)
Investing in the right switchgear directly impacts operational continuity, personnel safety, and overall infrastructure reliability.
The True Cost of Cheap Switchgear:
While it’s tempting to opt for budget-friendly solutions, low-cost switchgear often comes with hidden risks and long-term expenses.
Inferior Material Quality
Cheaper models often use substandard materials that degrade faster, leading to frequent maintenance or early replacement.
Safety Hazards
Low-quality switchgear can result in arc faults, insulation failure, or overheating — putting workers and equipment at risk.
Increased Lifecycle Costs
Although the initial price may be low, the total cost of ownership (including downtime, repair, and energy inefficiency) is usually higher.
Limited Scalability and Customization
Budget systems are often rigid and harder to scale as your facility grows or needs change.
Why Quality Switchgear Pays Off
When you invest in premium switchgear, you’re not just buying a product — you’re buying peace of mind.
Enhanced Reliability
High-quality switchgear is engineered to perform in extreme conditions and handle high fault levels without compromising performance.
Superior Safety Standards
Reputable brands comply with international standards such as IEC, ANSI, or UL, reducing liability and improving workplace safety.
Ease of Maintenance
Well-built switchgear is modular and user-friendly, simplifying diagnostics and minimizing downtime during maintenance.
Energy Efficiency & Smart Capabilities
Modern switchgear includes IoT sensors, real-time monitoring, and predictive maintenance features, ensuring optimal energy use and proactive problem resolution.
Key Factors to Consider When Choosing Switchgear
When evaluating switchgear options, balance cost and quality by focusing on the following:
1. Application Requirements
Understand your voltage class, load types, and fault current ratings. Quality should match your operational demands.
2. Brand Reputation & Certification
Look for trusted brands with certifications like ISO 9001, CE, or IEC 62271. Positive reviews and case studies add credibility.
3. Lifecycle Costs
Don’t just compare sticker prices — consider maintenance, service availability, spare part costs, and expected lifespan.
4. Customization & Flexibility
Choose systems that can evolve with your operation. Modular designs support upgrades and expansions more efficiently.
5. Support and Service
Ensure the manufacturer provides robust after-sales support, technical training, and warranty services.
Cost vs. Quality: The Bottom Line
When it comes to switchgear, cheap is rarely cheerful. Cutting corners today can lead to outages, hazards, and hefty repair bills tomorrow. On the other hand, investing in high-quality switchgear ensures operational resilience, safety, and long-term savings.
The smartest strategy? Aim for value, not just price. Evaluate switchgear as a long-term asset, not just a one-time purchase.
Trending Tip: Think Smart and Sustainable
With rising energy demands and climate-conscious regulations, smart and sustainable switchgear is trending. Look for:
· Eco-friendly insulation (like SF₆-free switchgear)
· Energy management features
· Digital monitoring systems
Investing in such features not only future-proofs your infrastructure but can also help you qualify for green certifications and incentives.
Final Thoughts
Balancing cost and quality in switchgear selection is about understanding your long-term operational goals. By focusing on durability, safety, and lifecycle value, you can make a decision that protects both your budget and your business.

Hi Krue! I’ll answer these for Zandik <3
1. What animal does your F/O remind you of?
A raven - for its intelligence, eerie presence and ability to pick apart mysteries with a sharp mind. And a shark - for the predatory nature, sharp teeth and the way he never truly stops moving forward, always hunting for knowledge.
3. What is your favorite hobby to think about doing with your F/O?
Experimenting together, though not always in a traditional, clinical way. He’s lost in his work, scribbling calculations at an alarming pace, muttering theories under his breath, and I, his most valued assistant, creation, and his wife, stand beside him - sometimes helping, sometimes teasing him for overworking himself. Maybe I’m lying on the operating table, allowing him to study me more, unafraid of his scalpel.
Philosophical debates over dinner are another hobby, an intellectual sparring that only strengthens the bond between us. And on rare, quieter evenings? Stargazing in the desert, lying on the cool sand, speaking of the fake sky, eternity, and how insignificant yet fascinating human life is. He'd scoff at sentimentality, but his gloved fingers would linger against mine just a second longer than necessary.
4. What chores would your F/O do around the house? Are there any they REALLY dislike?
Chores he would do around the lab:
organizing research notes and materials - Everything must be in its proper place for maximum efficiency. If a single document is misplaced, we can expect a dramatic reaction.
calibrating and maintaining equipment - If anyone else touches his machines, they’ll never do it right. Best to handle it himself.
overseeing test subjects (including myself) - Whether it’s monitoring data or making precise adjustments, he takes personal satisfaction in his work.
Chores he’d avoid like the plague:
cleaning up after experiments – Bloodstains? Shattered glass? That’s what assistants (like me) are for. He’s too busy refining theories to deal with the aftermath.
cooking and meal prep - If it isn’t something he can eat or drink quickly while working, it’s an inconvenience. He might forget to eat for hours, if not days, so cooking is my job.
laundry - He wears the same coat until it’s absolutely necessary to change it. One of his segments might handle laundry, but he certainly won’t.
Bonus: Chores he’d delegate to his segments:
“lesser” administrative work - One of his segments can handle mundane tasks like lab supply inventory, since he considers it beneath his time.
dealing with unimportant visitors - If someone dares to interrupt his work for trivial reasons, he has other versions of himself to shoo them away.
6. What kind of ringtone or notification sound would you have for your F/O?
Since I’m part of his hivemind, I don’t really need one, as we talk through telepathy a lot. Still, if my self-insert would have a phone, his voice saying “Ah… Did you think you could ignore me?” or something like that whenever he called would be funny (and make me a blushing mess).
12. What color do you associate with your F/O?
Light blue, like his hair!
15. What would your F/O get you for Valentine's day, if anything?
1) Zandik is all about his work and my relationship with him is no different - a gift that benefits us both is the perfect option. He might craft something personally tailored for me, like a specialized Geo-focused enhancement tool or a new experimental device that maximizes my powers (especially considering my sand abilities).
2) For him, the greatest gift he could offer would likely be knowledge. A private “lesson” on a forbidden or rare piece of research he’s been working on, something that could be either dangerous or highly advanced would be something he thinks would show me how much he cares. I’d learn more about his deepest interests this way.
3) He might also see the day as the perfect opportunity to “celebrate” by involving me in one of his most advanced and personal experiments yet - something that could challenge both of us, test the limits of my powers and deepen our bond in a scientific way. The experiment would be a way to bring us closer and prove the connection between us, perhaps by enhancing my abilities even further. “Gift” or not, it’s a test of love and intellect.
20. What're your F/O’s favorite personality traits of yours?
My intellectual curiosity, seeing that I’m equally interested in experimenting and expanding my limits, just like him. My ambition and determination to constantly improve and my dedication to furthering my abilities, especially considering how far I've come under his guidance, would be something he’s especially proud of. My independence, I don't simply exist as his assistant or test subject - I stand on my own and make my own decisions. I complement his need for control and precision. My ability to adapt and learn, as I’m the type who can absorb information, challenge him, and still stand firm in my ideas, which he’d view as a sign of strength. The fact that I've grown both emotionally and intellectually thanks to him makes him proud. My determination to challenge him - he’d find it incredibly stimulating when I challenge his views, question his methods or test the limits of his ideas. It shows that I’m not just a passive participant but someone who brings a unique perspective. It also means that deep down, I’m on his level, capable of thinking critically and independently. This appeals to his sense of superiority in a way that’s paradoxically flattering to him. He likes that I keep him on his toes.
The way I’ve survived his experiments and the resilience I show despite the pain and challenges I’ve faced also stand out to him.
21. If your F/O drew you, how would you describe the art piece?
If Zandik drew me, the art piece would likely reflect his meticulous nature and sharp attention to detail, with an almost clinical precision. I would be depicted with an air of otherworldly grace, perhaps standing amidst his laboratory's cool backdrop, with sand swirling at my feet or entwined around my form as a reminder of my powers. The lines would be clean and sharp, much like the precision with which he conducts his experiments. Every curve, angle and shadow would be deliberate, as though he’s trying to capture not just my physical form but the very essence of who I am - my power, my resilience and my complex bond with him. The color palette would be muted - greys, deep blues and maybe hints of warm sand tones.
23. What color would your F/O associate you with?
He’d likely associate me with a rich, deep shade of sand, a warm, earthy tone reflecting my Eremite desert heritage and connection to the sands. The sand, in his eyes, is a metaphor for my ever-shifting nature, how I can adapt, heal and even reform, much like the grains of sand that move and change shape yet remain a constant force in nature. He might see dark reds or crimson intertwined with that, representing my passion and the power he’s helped unlock!

PIGLIN
Racial abilities:
Type Medium Monstrous Humanoids(Orc subtype)
Speed 30ft
Senses Darkvision 60ft
Ability Score Modifiers +2STR -2INT
Gold scent: Piglin can detect any golden material and sense their status within 60ft. This effect functions like the spell Detect Metal but only on gold.
Greed: +2 bonus on Appraise checks to determine the price of nonmagical goods that contain precious metals or gemstones. This bonus increases of a +2 if they are made of Gold.
Piglin skills: Craft (Gold), Handle animal, Perception, Survival are always class skills for Piglins.
Orc Ferocity: Once per day, when a member of this race is reduced to fewer than 0 hit points but is not killed, it can fight on for 1 more round as if disabled. At the end of its next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, it immediately falls unconscious and begins to die.
Frenzy: Once per day, whenever a member of this race takes damage, it flies into a frenzy for 1 minute, gaining a +2 racial bonus to Constitution and Strength, but a –2 penalty to AC.
Weapon Familiarity: Piglins are proficient with Battleaxe, Heavy Crossbow, Longsword, Pickaxe.
Limited telephaty: Piglins possess a crude but efficient form of telephaty. While they cannot use it to perform conversations, they can sense the general emotions of their kin(only of other Piglins) and understand them reacting as a single unit in front of danger. This effect is constant as long as the Piglin is conscious and links any Piglins within 50ft with each other.
Unnatural Fear: Piglins are automatically afraid of all forms of undead Piglin, undead Hoglin and Soul Fire sources(magical and not) and they will never come close to these.(treat this effect as a Fear spell)
Overworld curse: Any Piglin that leaves the Nether will turn into a zombie version of itself within 3 turns with no saves. This effect can be halted only with a Wish or Miracle spell for 1 round. These spells can also be used to return transformed Piglins into their normal forms.
Languages: Piglins begin to speak Orc. Those with higher score in Intelligence can choose from the following languages: Common, Ignan, Abyssal, Giant, Alko, Undercommon and Necril.
Background: Piglins are brutish, greedy, primitive, yet united, inhabitants of the Nether. They live in various locations of the crimson landscape but never in a Soul valley. The Piglins live a nomadic-hunter-gatherer tribe life-style, never still for too long but from time to time setting in a ruined Bastion or a Nether fortress which they consider a monument of their glorious days of the past. They are very superstitious and afraid and keep a distance from Soul fire which traps the very souls of the victim(or so they think). They also run away from any version of themselves that has been turned into a zombie. It is said that in the past there were many wars and at the peak of their civilization, the Piglins invaded the Overworld causing havoc and plundering the land: resources were taken, inhabitants were enslaved, cities turned into rubble, obsidian portals opened everywhere in the land. Mighty fortresses of gold, quartz and blackstone towered in the Nether as testament to their might… however, one day it all crumbled to dust as the very gods cast a curse upon the Piglins: If they ever dared to return, the very land would sunder their being and strip them of any form of life for they greedily stole too much in the past. And so they walk, sometimes equipped with gold equipments and barely remembering the days of old, yet obsessed with gold and willing to do anything to get more…
Half-Breeds: Since in the past they did breed with some of the inhabitants of the Overworld, it can happen that a half-breed(half-orc) is born: more intelligent, devoid of the curse of undeath and free to walk any obsidian portal(s) it might find. However, these half-breed are rare and usually removed or offered in tribute to their god in order to keep their purity and/or removing pretenders for the seat of chieftain. These Piglins loses the racial trait curse, their limited telephaty, and their unnatural fear. Their weapon familiarity changes as they are proficient only with battleaxes and longswords.
Physical appearance and personality: Piglins are muscular powerful humanoids with tusks, pig-like faces and features. They wear simple, rugged leather clothes but they seek to get gold as soon as possible to build their weapons and armors. Piglins, are obsessed with gold as it is the only thing to show their status: The more gold one has, the more his status is considered higher, until someone steals it, or worst. Wearing gold armor and giving gold items to Piglins is the only known way to stop their territorial rampage and they will give you something in return(that is not gold). To survive the harsh Nether they learned a few tricks: like how to squeeze water out of mushrooms or Nether wart. No matter what, they are always ready to barter as they are to steal, kill, betray or hunt. Sometimes, they manage to gather into a fortress of old like a Bastion, where they organize and gather their loot. However, these organized groups are short lived as their hierarchy is as fragmented as their long lost empire. One always tries to topple the other and while they try to grow their children they also engage in hunting/training Hoglins or seeking resources while at it. Be forewarned, for they will consider even the gold in a wall theirs as a sort of a “secret stash” only to have another Piglin yell that it was his causing a massive rampage. They worship various spirits of fire, strength, war, riches and death that are all the same God, their creator. However, even these cults disappear as they appear… like a flame flickering in the dark. Overall, they are greedy, warlike, superstitious, survivalist pig-like humanoids that still will protect their clans with a ferocity that cannot be measured with words.

Unveiling The Intricacies Of Excavation: Delving Deeper During Construction
Excavation: the simple term encapsulates a myriad of skills, procedures, and safety measures that contribute significantly to every construction project. Most construction work begins with the careful removal of earth, making a hole or channelling the ground to prepare for the erection of buildings or laying of pipelines. As commonplace as it might seem, excavation is a crucial part of construction that requires extensive planning, expertise and precision.
To begin with, what exactly is excavation? Technically, it’s the process of moving earth, rock or other materials from a site with tools, equipment, or explosives. It includes earthwork, trenching, wall shafts, tunnelling and underground. Yet, in the context of construction, excavation extends beyond mere digging. It modulates the terrain to suit the structural requirement, ensuring the safety and stability of the ensuing structure.
At the heart of every excavation project is the objective to create a stable, safe, and efficient worksite. Basic excavation work typically follows the same series of steps. First, a site assessment is undertaken to determine the composition and stability of the soil, presence of water or rock layers, and any potential hazards. The comprehensive analysis garnered from this assessment then directs the excavation strategy.
Next comes site preparation, which involves clearing the area of any vegetation, debris, or existing structures. This process ensures a clean slate for construction work while minimising the risk of accidents and disturbances during excavation. Benching or sloping techniques could also be implemented on the site to prevent collapse or landslide from happening, thus achieving safety protocol adherence.
The actual excavation work is executed in a carefully measured and precise manner. Whether it’s done manually with shovels and wheelbarrows or mechanically with bulldozers, excavators and backhoes, the work is always carried out meticulously. Technology has indeed become an integral part of excavation, with engineers using software to model excavations prior to deployment, minimising surprises or miscalculations.
Trench excavation is another common practice where a narrow excavation is crafted that is deeper than it is wide. Used mostly for laying pipes, cables and service lines, trench excavation greatly increases the safety of workers by preventing cave-ins and providing easy access to the worksite.
Wet Weather excavation is a challenging scenario frequently encountered on work sites. Here, strategic measures are taken to handle water accumulation. Pumps can be used to remove water, and dewatering methods may be deployed to minimize the water table level.
Post excavation work, structures are erected, pipes are laid, and soil is replaced around the new structure or channel. Again, this is done with extreme care to ensure the stability of the structure and prevent unnecessary exertion of pressure.
In every construction project, the importance of excavation can’t be overstated. It lays the foundation for a safe and successful build. Despite it being a process often overlooked or simplified by laymen, and sometimes perceived as the mundane act of digging, it is, in fact, a scientific procedure replete with precision and tactical stratagems, rivalling the complexity of the structure it prepares ground for.
From the analysis of soil composition to the final touch of replacing the removed dirt, excavation attests to the power of human intervention over nature, moulding the earth to suit the burgeoning demands of urban structures and infrastructures. Understanding its finer details, we may appreciate more deeply the caveats of the construction world and marvel at the impressive structures made possible by these complex and elemental earth movements.

Your Guide to the Most In-Demand Underhook Lifting Devices on the Market
The construction industry is evolving fast, and so are the tools that keep it moving. When it comes to crane operations, efficiency and safety go hand in hand. And right at the heart of that sweet spot? Underhook lifting devices.
These aren’t just metal attachments. They’re the unsung heroes that allow cranes to handle all kinds of materials with precision, balance, and speed. If you’re managing a construction site, rigging loads, or coordinating logistics on a tower crane, you know that the right lifting device can save time, prevent injuries, and help you meet tight deadlines.
But with so many options on the market in 2025, which devices are making the biggest impact?
Let’s walk through the most in-demand underhook lifting devices that are showing up on job sites across North America—and why they’re worth the investment.
What Makes a Lifting Device “In-Demand”?
Not every tool that hooks to a crane makes it to the top of the industry’s go-to list. The devices we’re featuring today share three major qualities:
Versatility: They can be used across different load types and job conditions.
Safety Features: Built-in mechanisms to prevent tipping, swaying, or failed releases.
Proven Performance: Field-tested with consistent reliability and great operator feedback.
Whether you're lifting construction materials on a high-rise, moving loose debris, or transferring fuel tanks, these are the tools everyone’s asking for.

Self-Dumping Bins: Hands-Free Load Management
Let’s kick it off with one of the most practical and popular tools out there—self-dumping bins. Designed to simplify and speed up debris handling, these bins are perfect for clearing waste, transporting heavy loose material, or moving around demolition debris without manual unloading.
Why it’s in demand:

Adjustable settings allow operators to switch load types with ease.
This tool offers unbeatable flexibility, making it one of the most used crane lifting devices in both commercial and industrial construction.
Propane Bottle Carriers: Lifting with Confidence
Working with propane on-site? Safety takes center stage. That’s why propane bottle carriers have become a must-have lifting device, especially on job sites that rely on gas-powered heaters, forklifts, or equipment.
Why it’s in demand:
Secure containment for multiple bottles in vertical or horizontal orientation.
Prevents tanks from shifting or falling during lifts.
Speeds up fuel delivery to upper floors or remote zones.
Their rugged, purpose-built design takes the worry out of transporting compressed gas cylinders across unpredictable terrain or through multi-level sites.
Spreader Bars: Load Distribution, Done Right
When lifting large, flexible, or awkward loads, spreader bars (also called lifting beams) distribute weight more evenly across multiple pick points. This reduces stress on both the load and the rigging hardware.
Why it’s in demand:
Minimizes bending and load damage.
Ensures a level lift, even for off-center loads.
Crucial for wide panels, structural steel, and prefab components.
This category of crane lifting devices is often customized to meet specific load configurations and weight distribution needs, especially on engineered lift plans.
Underhook Attachments with Built-in Tech
