Question ...if fairies rely on desire to feed,would Dev be a GOOD food source or a terrible food source? Does desire come from wishing or wanting more, essentially. Because dev like.. Has all he can want except his dad's approval ,so how does that work?

Fairies' food comes from the innate emotion a person has while Wishes are just the only way Fairies can pull the emotions (food) out!!!

The more the desire is out of reach, the more delicious it is, and the longer the fairy can go without needing another meal. It's simply easier to harvest from children because they have big emotions, and weak minds and impulses. A child can say "I wish" more openly than an adult does, making it easier for Fairies to cultivate.

Dev's one of the best food sources there is. In fact, he's able to feed a family of 5 for at least 8 months! However, he's also one of the worse sources to collect from because his desire is noncollectable by magic.

The two more awkward people of the group. Sky, who is not as confident as Mel and not as blunt as Viktor, trying to make a subtle move on Jayce. Jayce, oblivious yet more than happy to indulge whatever Sky wants which makes her flustered but happy. Sky, trying to figure out how to confess her feelings while Jayce is always so freely affectionate in casual seemingly only platonic ways.

(Sky references his behavior with Mel and Viktor as how he'd behave with friends. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to realize that Jayce also likes them too. Boy's just got a big heart. She does too. They all do. Just a whole lot of love going round.)

Both of them dancing around each other's feelings, Sky because she isn't sure how to take it a step further without ruining everything and Jayce because he doesn't have a name for the warm feelings Sky's presence gives him until something happens and he's hit in the face so violently with the realization that he's in love.

Oh and their interactions afterwards with Jayce being super affectionate and Sky being overwhelmed by his love but smiling even as she feels like she's going to explode.

& I think by veilguard kasi and dorian aren't really together any more....if kas had been able to resolve the solas situation, if he hadn't lost his arm, if he'd been able to kill that bald motherfucker, if things in the south hadn't gone so wrong he'd essentially had to give up the hunt - maybe they could've made it. but all that did happen and he's spent the last ten years retreating into this dehumanising position of authority, carefully crushing every emotion out in order to do his work, and it was bad when the inquisition was active but by the time veilguard rolls around I think the only thing keeping him tethered is the vague memory of what he and dorian had. and by this point they haven't seen each other in years and they're both very aware that they're holding onto an Idea of one another and there's some pedestals there that are gonna get in the way if they ever meet again. and then in veilguard they do and they get to spend time together and say goodbye properly before kas dies:)
