Dawn is the protagonist of Plantinum. By the time he becomes the protagonist of Legends Arceus he's started his female to male transition and is going by Rei.

Rei's ace in Sinnoh is a bibarel, the first pokemon he ever caught. Barry told Rei that bidoof are kind of lame and Rei became dead set on proving them wrong. Rei's ace in Hisui is the alpha kricketune that was bothering Lord Wyrdeer, who Rei began training to prove that pokemon aren't so scary.

Barry is nonbinary and uses she/they/fae pronouns.

Rei has clinical depression but unlike some people he never tried to destroy the world over it.

Lord Avalugg was the original hero's companion and is still alive in modern Sinnoh, slumbering under Snowpoint City.

Rei died in 1942 at 85 years old of natural causes.

Cynthia is a direct descendant of Rei via an orphaned Celestic child he adopted.

Cynthia's spiritomb is Vessa, who has stayed close to the family since Rei helped her. The Azure Flute is also a family heirloom.

Cynthia lost her eye to an infection after her garchomp scratched it as a gible. She has a prosthetic eye under her bangs and likes to tell people her garchomp once clawed a person's eye out.

After Rei dissappeared, Cynthia was reinstated as Sinnoh champion and hasn't been beaten since.

Giratina thinks they can fix Cyrus let's see how that goes for them.

Giratina was Rei's pokemon (he called them Tina), and since his dissappearence has been a companion of Cynthia.

Cyrus is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.

Cyrus had an interest in pokemon contests until a bad experience led them to dropping them.

Mars studied history once but it led to her to have a very pessimistic view of the world.

Lucas is dyslexic.

Professor Rowan has a pretty severe allergy to feline pokemon.

Professor Rowan wants to strangle Professor Oak with a coat hanger, a sentiment he is completely oblivious to.

Barry eventually starts working at the Battle Tower with his dad.

Maylene, Candice, and Cyrus are no contact with their families.

Candice and Maylene like to hike together.

Fantina's father is from Kalos but she has never actually been there herself.

Crasher Wake is Fantina's pokemon contest rival.

Some time after Rei disappears, Johanna goes back to doing pokemon contests full time. She's close with Fantina and Crasher Wake.

It's tradition for Roark and Byron to spend the day together in the Sinnoh underground on Roark's birthday.

Gardenia is a secret base master.

Roark and Gardenia have made a game of hunting down each others' secret bases and setting up traps for each other.

Bertha and Aaron are actually really good friends, which everybody is surprised to learn. They often walk along Victory Road together and talk.

Lucian is schizophrenic.

Of the elite four, Lucian was the closest with Rei.

Ingo is Flint's great-something grandmother.

Shortly post-Plantinum Volkner and Flint got engaged.

Barry and Rei were dating before he disappeared.

Barry and Nate are exes.

Cynthia and Cyrus are both aroace and completely uninterested in romantic or sexual relationships of any kind.

Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina all have at least some resentment over Arceus they've been stewing over for at least a couple thousand years. These eldritch dragons have daddy issues. Giratina especially has not forgiven Arceus for what it did to Rei, but has given up on revenge.

After Cogita was released from her curse and eventually died, Enamorus went to Galar with Professor Laventon where she cycles through human disguises. She's currently living as Opal.

Uxie periodically erases Darkrai's memories at their request, despite Cresselia's protests.

Yeah idk what to say Darkrai and Cresselia are kind of doomed yuri coded.... 🤔

Regigigas' true form is a lot bigger than their pokedex entry states, the body they appear in is something they crafted to better work on new creations.

When phione and manphy migrate by Sinnoh waters, they create a beautiful lightshow underwater that people travel from all over to watch.

Shaymin migration is also an incredible spectacle. Sinnoh is one of the only regions where so many mythical pokemon can be so freely observed.

The lake trio are carnivorous and love eating fish. Their fangs are razor sharp.

Heatran is there. I guess.

In Unova, they were prepared.

"Where is Iris?" the mob chanted. They said they would stop as long as they handed her over. Alder found that difficult to believe. He heard that some trainers were at the league castle looking to find Caitlin. His elites - including his protege, Marshal - were trying to calm her down and stop her from doing anything rash. But Alder thought the trainers wouldn't stop until they saw blood. A league member's blood, the highest of quality. The most valuable to the mob. Alder was wrong. They wouldn't stop until a league member was dead in the water. "She isn't here," Drayden spat, right before ordering his Druddigon to use flamethrower on a few trainers looking to disarm Alder and Drayden. In all Alder's years of being a champion, he had never heard Drayden sound so protective, so venomous. The look in his eyes was that of a father's. "You aren't getting your hands on her." "Are you willing to die for that little brat?" one of them scorned. Alder looked over at the dragon-type specialist. He looked years older than he was. But his tone was confident, so confident, that it frightened Alder as Drayden said: "Yes."

The rioting trainers were coming. Chili, Cress, and Cilan Roncone were ready. They had preparations. It all blew up faster than microwaved popcorn.

The buildings remained untouched, but lives were lost. She was still identifying her people that didn't make it, moving through the flooded streets. Bodies were scattered, some face down in the murky puddles, others slumped up against the buildings perfectly in place. Her home. Her people. Oh Elesa, Skyla thought. I am in hell.

But Elesa wondered what this would mean for her fellow Unovians. She wondered if this would lead to groups coming up calling for the abolition of trainers and their Pokemon. After what was going on between all five regions, it seemed certainly possible. Drayden had his suspicions, but Elesa was one of the few that would outright say it. At this rate, Unova was more likely than ever to have a crime organization pop up, after what happened with Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, and in such short amount of time too.

"Leader Clay!" one of his miners shouted, "Over here! Look!" It happened after dozens of trainers were dead. Some of Unova's ACEs, too. It was after the troublemaking trainers that had lived were smart enough to run. It happened after so much blood had been shed that had been imprinted in Clay's mind. More than once he thought of that Pidove. More than once he thought of the boy, Jeremy, one of his miners that he still loved like a son that had almost died in the mines. After so much had happened, it was only the beginning. Because what Clay saw next after following one of the miners, he first thought he was hallucinating.

The trainers realized that the elite four - well, elite three - were here. Some were smart to flee. Others stayed to question them about a noticeably absent person. "Where is she? Where is Caitlin?" Grimsley came to a conclusion. He figured that it wasn't just because she was a young and scared little girl that Grimsley would fight the trainers from taking Caitlin, that he would fight hard like he did against his own inner demons of addiction. If Grimsley didn't fight hard which would result in Caitlin dying, then Lucian was going to be a total bitch about it.

For now, Brycen had locked himself in his house. Cigarette between his fingers. Phone unplugged. The television was on. Unable to tear his eyes away from the screen. An R-rated film due to it's violent nature. Brycen had starred in it, an anti-war film that was almost banned in regions outside of Unova. People didn't want to be reminded of their own history, but banning it altogether would've only reinforced that and during those years it was the start of caring about a region's image. Clearly now it didn't matter anymore.

Burgh Fletcher was prepared for the phone call he would receive after Sinnoh had gone up in flames. His boyfriend was next to him, as he was, after dealing with the hellraisers at the Unova league. He had fought the trainers from taking Caitlin, the main source of anger that Sinnohnian trainers had. Caitlin was fine. Grimsley had ended up with a bruised arm. None of those trainers stood a chance against the spider web traps that Burgh had concocted in his gym, something he had installed right before Iris decided to shock the nations. Burgh ushered Grimsley away, he didn't need him chiming in with 'I told you so' remarks, but something told Burgh that Grimsley didn't have it in him anymore. Still, he wanted to keep Grimsley away, just in case based on who this caller was. It was going to be a long, long night. Burgh answered the call. "Hello?" It was Aaron Needleman.

Things were fine. So why was Lenora so antsy? In all of Lenora's life, she had never experienced this feeling before. Not even when she had stopped the burglary in the museum. When she and Hawes returned to their home that made it out unscathed, her heart was pounding so fast she could hear it in her ears and her hands were sweaty. The walls were closing in and the room tilted and Arceus was this what a heart attack felt like? No matter how hard she tried to breathe, the air wouldn't come. She unbuttoned the top part of her shit thinking it would help. It didn't.

Oh she fucked up. Suicide rates spiked. Lines were overflowing with callers. A mental health crisis. Shit hit the fan. Everything was just awful all around, and it was all her fault.

Hi (again). So, I was a bit worried how others would react to my head cannon, but it wasn’t. So, here are my head cannons about Lance’s other relationships with champions and League members:

Lance and Lorelei were rivals. They met at Professor Oak’s lab, getting a Charizard and Blastoise. Lorelei used to be a water specialist, but got ice just to spite Lance. They both argue like a married couple. Bruno is the mediator.

Lance met Wallace at a coordinator event in Johto. Both of them bonded over capes and other stuff.

Lance and Steven’s relationship head cannon was just from a fic I read called Weaknesses. I forgot the author’s name, but it’s a dianthaxlance and darksteelshipping fic.

Cynthia and Lance met in the SinJoh ruins. He was training there while Cynthia was studying the ruins. She admired his strength and care for his Pokemon. They were both surprised that they both knew Steven. Cynthia wanted Lance to meet Steven because she thought they would be good friends. Lance thought Cynthia would like Steven for archeology and geology stuff.

Iris is Lance’s biggest fan. She’s like a golden retriever puppy wanting their owner’s praise and attention, which he gives. He starts treating her like his own daughter.

Diantha and Lance fought for custody over Iris until they found out Drayden already adopted Iris. They were kind of bitter toward each other before the Hearts and Dragons Event in Pasio (i have no idea what the actual name is). Diantha started to fall for him. They started to get closer as bf/gf (got this from the Iris event and the anime).

As for the Johto Elite Four, Lance is respectful toward Karen. He knows she’s related to Clair (based off of the one ancestor in PLA). He got Karen on the Elite Four because Clair forced him to. Will was recommended by Cynthia because Lucian knew Will wanted to be a part of the Sinnoh Elite Four. Lance let him be a part of the Elite Four when Lorelei left. Lance held Koga in high regards when he was in Kanto during his time in the Gym Challenge.

Sorry this is so long. I wanted to share these in one thing because I knew my ADHD and procrastination would never let me put all of these head cannons in multiple asks. Once again, sorry.

I said this once and I'll say it again, but Lance interacting with literally anyone from the Pokémon universe is always such a treat and I love hearing people's different interpretations of how they think he and other characters would get along. This is no exception. 🤧♥️

Welp, there it is. Nuzlocke of Platinum, finished! And only one death against the elite 4 / champion! It was a very fun set of battles. Chip was able to set up two nasty plots on Aaron and sweep him, I had Giga Drain and Surf and Avalanche for Bertha, I had three ground types for Flint, and Gibby and Hundoor were able to trade off for Lucian. All that left was Cynthia.

Hundoor was able to take out Spiritomb with two flamethrowers. Against Milotic I sent out Chip and anticipated a Mirror Coat by setting up a substitute (which is probably the smartest I have ever felt playing a pokemon game). Then I was able to blast away with Thunderbolt, allowing the substitute to absorb the second Mirror Coat. And after Milotic fell came the Garchomp, to which I sent out Roach. An earthquake from the dragon brought Roach below half, but thanks to shell bell, an Ice Beam brought Garchomp low and would let Roach survive another earthquake! Except, they ended up getting a crit with Giga Impact. Giving me my final death of the nuzlocke.` Luckily, Nubin was able to finish the Garchomp with Ice Shard. They were also able to survive an aura sphere from Togekiss to take them out with Avalanche. Gibby killed Lucario with a Dig, and that just left Roserade. So of course, I had to send out my MVP, my longest-lived teammate: Zobot. One Fly later, and the run was completed!

This was a lot of fun. I've never finished a gen 4 game before, and I'm happy I was able to do it with probably the best entry, and a physical copy of it no less.

Hunter’s Pokémon journey part 20.

We arrived at the distortion world and I had to get through some tough obstacles. I was almost there, but I had to battle Cyrus and beat him for the last time. After I won, I took on Giratina in its Origin Forme. I battled it, weakened it and managed to catch it. After that, we left the distortion world and I caught Mesprit, Uxie & Azelf. Then, we went to Sunyshore City, where we battled the last gym leader, Volkner and his electric types. I managed to beat him and I got the beacon badge. After that, we set off to the Pokémon league. We went through victory road and it was breathtaking. We eventually made it to the Pokémon league and I battled the Sinnoh elite four. First, I batted Aaron and his bug types. After I beat him, I battled Bertha and her ground types. After I beat her, I battled Flint and his fire types. After I beat him, I battled Lucian and his psychic types. After I beat him, I was ready to face the champion. And that was none other than Cynthia herself. The battle was very tough. But I refused to give up. And right when I thought I was done for, Giratina managed to use Dragon Claw and knock out Garchomp! I had won the battle against Cynthia and I became the new champion of Sinnoh! It was a truly crowning achievement.

Personnel File 4: Titus Drautos

While technically if we continue to go alphabetically by first name, Drautos should appear later, he is referred to more often as Drautos and so we're doing him next. :P Sorry for the late posting; there were too many rabbit holes that caught us up, especially regarding his name. *grumble grumble* As always, pictures are courtesy of @capsource, who is a blessing.

Titus Drautos

From the Facebook blurb:

Name: Titus - Latin: the name of the co-ruler of Rome with Romulus, the Sabine (native tribe) king Titus Tatius, thereafter a common Roman name: an Emperor known for his martial skill (including the destruction of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem); Titus Andronicus, a fictional Shakespearean character who commits terrible acts of revenge; a fictional tyrant with good intentions; and many others. WARNING: this is a tvtropes-level time suck. Drautos - ??? - This one is harder. Google translate tells us it means insurance in Lithuanian, though I think we can probably disregard that one. It could be many words that have been Latinized into a name by adding "-os" to the end, including English sources like draught or drought, or Greek ones like dragon, drao - a verb for action that also gives us the term drama, or drax - a handful. Using the Japanese spelling, it could also be Doratos, meaning “of a spear or shaft of wood”. Germanic/Norse sources have a similar word draugr that can mean both the undead creature we’re most familiar with through games and stories but also a trunk of a tree or a fighting man. Following that back to older roots, we get the reconstructed words dreugana which means to deceive or a retainer (which is appropriate) and druhtiz which means a band of retainers, a troupe. Derived from those, and somehow even more on topic, is the Old Norse drótt which means a household, a people, or the group of bodyguards of a king and all sorts of other fun ideas for sources. Do I think Square thought this hard? Probably not. Is it fun anyway? Yes.

Equipment: Drautos is one of the most colorful people we see in Insomnia, with his red leather jacket and panels. (As Drautos he uses black and red with purple and silver highlights, and as Glauca silver and purple with black and silver highlights). In some ways, his look is reminiscent of Genesis from FFVII, albeit played much more seriously.

His uniform seems to be a combination of the Kingsglaive uniforms - the cuffs around the wrists and upper thigh, identical boots, what looks to be the base of a hood in his wide inner collar, the symbol down the front (though whether he wears it in honor of his glaives or they of him is a bit of a chicken and egg debate, and we don’t see that long version on the Royal Guards or the Kingsglaive after the fall, as best I can tell) - and the common markers of status among Insomnian/Lucian elites - the high collar (though very exaggerated in his case), the asymmetric longer left sleeves, the hint at longer robes via the skirt panels – and his own personal style - the overlapping jacket front (and the requisite Square fashion zipper, which is how you know he’s a main character), the mail and reinforced leather piece over his shoulders, and the braids connecting his shoulders and mail sleeves.

His necklaces and medals have the feeling of formal awards, though we see literally no one else wearing them. In the field, he wears the symbol of the Kingsglaive on his many necklaces, though this is replaced by some sort of cross-like medal when he dresses up; this, with the addition of the other medals somehow attached to his jacket, is the only difference between his field and formal uniforms. (He wears the field uniform again during the fall of Insomnia; I guess he had time to remove the medals and change the necklace when he was missing during the panic over Luna)

The only comparison with Drautos’s medals are the ones won for Chocobo racing, though the medallion portion of those appears flatter and simpler. The chains and braids might have a parallel in the pair that cross Nyx’s chest, though his is worn much differently that Drautos’.

The leather shoulder piece almost resembles the leather and reinforced collar of Nyx’s field uniform, but is still much larger and differently shaped. The pattern inside the high collar almost appears to match the dickies from the Luche-style uniforms.

When he is driving in Noctis's car with Nyx, he appears to have ditched both the high collar (which seems smart, just for the peripheral vision) and the shoulder piece, mail, oversleeves, shoulder braids, and medals. I wonder if this is why he can tell Nyx to drop the formalities – he’s “out of uniform”. [[NB: unlike the bros, Drautos enforces seatbelts in the car]]

He has a classical western straight-edged sword belted at his side, just as his glaives carry theirs sheathed on their persons rather than in magical storage as Clarus and Cor do. Unfortunately, he never uses this sword in the movie.

ETA: Drautos also wears his sword on his right hip, implying he is left-handed, while Glauca wields his sword in his right hand or with both. As we never see Drautos as Drautos use his sword, which hand is actually dominant or if he is ambidextrous is unknown.

He also, unlike most of the glaives, has an actual cell phone rather than ear pieces.

Background: Drautos is from Cavaugh, the island where Insomnia sits, but not actually from Insomnia. His village is destroyed about 30 years ago during the war, and then he is taken in by Regis. Despite this closeness, Cor and Noctis both refer to him as Drautos rather than Titus in the audio drama and opening scene respectively, which implies a sort of distance, but he is trusted implicitly by them all. He clearly resents the wall being withdrawn by Mors and how Regis is running the fight (“For the honor of my home, I fought and killed under a king I loathed. And still, he betrayed me. He betrayed us all.” - the betrayal is presumably the treaty and Insomnia being sacrificed for Noctis, because it comes after the loathing and fighting, plus Regis didn’t pull back the wall himself, he inherited that position and didn’t change it).

After that, he rises to be one of the top three swordsmen in Lucis, along with Cor [[and presumably Clarus?]] and takes over the Kingsglaive at some point in the fifteen years between its founding and the present. He was probably the founding leader, but it’s never outright stated. Sometime in there he became Glauca. He could be the original Glauca, who is presumably the one who killed Queen Sylvia, or there could have been many over the years. It’s hard to tell under the armor. Clearly he’s been doing this long enough to recruit fellow traitors and put this plan in motion, but that could be anywhere from a year to a decade to two. What assurance does he have that Niflheim would keep its word, and how did he get the armor?

The man is running two armies, one from quite the distance. If he’s done so for long, it is both a sign of competence – that’s a huge amount of work, even if one is small and the other is mostly automated, and on top of that he has managed to do so undetected – and possibly of incompetence – when he holds all the cards, he still hasn’t been able to bring Lucis down yet. [[How did this man have any time to sleep?]]

Rank: The shoulder tabs he wears are slightly fancier than the rest of the glaives’, and appear to have a wide/narrow/narrow pattern that matches, if anything, the common sleeve insignia for vice admirals across many navies. Though he is called "Captain" throughout the movie, he appears to be of higher ranking for practical purposes, based on his status in Lucis.

Death: There is debate over whether the psychomancer who has Nyx’s kukris is Nyx or Drautos, who had Nyx’s kukri in his chest while Nyx had none. I tend to think the streaks and reddish eyes (though it could be the light of dawn) as Drautos dies indicates demonification, as is the fact his eyes crack open as we last see him.

Personality: Drautos clearly cares about his past and his responsibilities very much. He is a harsh leader, but has the respect and loyalty of his soldiers, and is capable of moments of relative softness in private. He has a tricky mind capable of assessing those around him and taking their actions into account in his plans, and is capable of projecting an image and living a double life for years. He is unbelievably determined and dedicated to his idea of right.

Relationships: The facebook blurb says he is a hard man to please, but he clearly has some relationships with his soldiers and superiors.

-Nyx Ulric: Drautos is Nyx’s mentor, and seems to care for him as well, though less than his cause. The car ride seems a last minute attempt at feeling out Nyx’s loyalties, and minutes after he orders Nyx’s death and Nyx is shot on those orders, he holds his hand and seems to have some reason to still want Nyx’s good will - either as a way to ease his death, or perhaps merely as a key to the ring and the princess. He has multiple opportunities to kill Nyx from the signing room onward that he just doesn't take.

-Regis Lucis Caelum: Drautos’s issues with Regis seem to be personal as much as political, but he seems to respect him as well. Regis is unsurprisingly shocked by the reveal of Glauca’s identity moments before his death, but though he contemptuously shoves Regis’s body to the ground, Drautos does no further damage, nor does he draw out that death. And while the bow before might be mocking, the salute after seems sincere. Otoh, he misses several chances to kill Regis without him knowing that Glauca was the one who killed him, including right after removing the ring from his hand.

-Luche Lazarus: Drautos trusts Luche with everything from running battlefields to what his true intentions are, but due to the time constraints of the movie, we don’t get to see moments like Nyx’s where they actually talk. Is it a commander-loyal subordinate relationship, one of true trust, or is Luche yet another tool?

Britt's shiny team headcanons!

So... nobody asked for this, but I wanted to do it anyway since I'm happy to have completed my first shiny team for Sword and Shield.

Since I love my virtual monsters a lot, I wanted to give them some personalities and share them with you.

My team includes some pokémon that I've hatched in SwSh and shinies from previous games.

I'm currently working on making a shiny team for everyone of my favourite types, so a shiny fairy team, a shiny dragon team and a shiny poison team.

Anyways... meet my sparkly squad!

♡ Lucian

• You're never sure whether you want to pet him or punch him.

• Lucian has attitude, and he's not afraid to use it.

• He's the kind of pokémon who enjoys the company of a very small elite group of individuals, and the rest of the world is absolute garbage to him.

• On one hand, he can be extremely loyal to those he loves and will fight with all of his pretty boy might.

• On the other hand, if he finds someone to be unworthy of his time, he can be downright aggressive and rude to them.

• His facial expressions don't lie. If he finds someone disgusting, it'll show. A lot.

• Britt had a hard time fitting him in a team. She had to figure out a group of pokémon where Lucian tolerated at least 50% of them, all the while making sure that the selected group could handle him and his marvellous attitude.

• Lucian is kind of a player.

• He loves hanging out with female pokémon and is very smooth with them, but he doesn't care for hanging with the male pokémon.

• He steers clear of Red Death as Lucian has had to deal with a few Waterfalls to the face for being an annoyance.

• He doesn't mind Snuggles as the little ball of fluff is very oblivious to his surroundings.

• Lucian is mostly seen hanging out with Nully. Since Nully is genderless, Lucian doesn't see them as a potential mate or rival.

• Although, whether they're friends or not is up for debate.

• Even when he was a small Eevee, he had a superiority complex, but that doubled when he evolved into a Sylveon.

• He's, thankfully, very supportive of his trainer and will always try to hang on even in the toughest of fights. He's constantly shaking off statuses and damage as to not worry Britt.

• He loves having Britt's attention and will demand head pats at all times.

• He's difficult to get through, but with a bit of patience, he's a good boy once you know the proper approach to his odd personality.

• The rest of the team respects him, but they know how to (and will) deal with his shit when things get too hectic.

♡ Shortcake

• Big girl, gentle girl.

• She looks threatening, but she's the softest dragon you'll ever meet.

• She's very shy and has a hard time mingling with other groups of pokémon, always being on the sidelines and watching others play.

• She wants to play too, but she's so timid, so she mostly stays by pokémon she knows or Britt.

• She likes playing with smaller pokémon better because she finds larger pokémon to be frightening.

• The exception is Red Death. He's big, but Shortcake seems to like him because he's pretty calm for a Gyarados.

• She plays ball with Snuggles the Wooloo quite often. Sometimes, Snuggles is the ball.

• Unlike most dragons, Shortcake loves sweet fruity dishes over spicy meat dishes.

• Very good girl. Will lay her head in Britt's lap to nap.

• Pat that head. She loves pats.

• She lacks elegance and is very clumsy. She trips over her own feet quite often.

• She's self-conscious, so please tell her she's adorable. We need to boost that confidence.

• She's very powerful in battle, packing moves like Outrage, Swords Dance, Earthquake and Poison Jab, but she's usually the last resort pokémon. She's aware of her strength, and she doesn't want to harm others.

• When she was an Axew, she had the habit of hiding behind Britt whenever strangers approached. She's a bit too big to do that anymore, but she still does it, even if you can plainly see the huge Haxorous behind Britt.

• It's cute, really.

♡ Nully

• Nully is very wary of others and still has a hard time trusting others.

• Unless another pokémon of the team comes up to them, they don't really talk to other pokémon.

• It's not because they don't like the others! They just prefer to keep to themself. They really do respect every other pokémon on the team and will absolutely defend them with their life.

• All other pokémon of the team treat them with respect and they have become the team leader, which is a title that Nully is rather fond of.

• Nully actually likes having a cutesy nickname over having a threatening name as they want to be seen as more than just a freaky fighting machine.

• They mainly run the Poison Disk. They know how much Britt loves Poison-types, and they wanted to make her happy. They ended up really liking the Poison Disk, however, due to how many resistances they have because of it.

• When Britt is running with her shiny team, Nully likes to stay out of their Poké Ball. They always want to be by her side and make sure that she is safe.

• Nully is extremely close to Britt. After all, she saved them and gave them a better life. They have a lot of respect, love and admiration for what she did for them.

• As a Type: Null, they were very difficult. They were always cowering in a corner in a very defensive posture and wouldn't hesitate to attack if Britt got to close.

• It took a lot of patience and empathy to reach out to them, but Nully is glad that she did.

• Nully genuinely gets upset when other trainers call them a freak. It's not their fault that they were created that way.

• It's okay. Britt will fistfight anyone who insults her baby.

• Britt doesn't want to play favourites, buuuuuut... Nully ♡

♡ Dumpling

• Dumpling is more elegant than you will ever be. Deal with it.

• Seriously, she never misses a beat in whatever she's doing. She's the complete opposite of her trainer where she's absolutely not clumsy and Britt is, well... Britt.

• She acts like she's too sophisticated to battle, but no one is fooled by that. Everyone knows that she enjoys a good ass-whoopin'.

• Dumpling enjoys high-quality food and is a very picky eater. She won't accept anything lower than a Copperajah Class dish.

• Dumpling has good taste in fashion and has a very strong opinion on Britt's fashion choices. She's often out of her Poké Ball whenever Britt is shopping for some help on choosing an outfit.

• Since Britt's fashion sense is... fairly lacking, Dumpling often blows a bit of snow/ice in her trainer's face to voice her disapproval whenever she judges that the chosen outfit is ugly and/or unfit for the occasion.

• However, Dumpling and Britt are very close and share a strong girl's bond. Their bond can rival the one that Britt and Nully have.

• After all, Britt raised Dumpling from an egg, so she's practically a mother to Dumpling.

• Speaking of which, she gets along very well with Nully. She's one of the few pokémon that Nully will voluntarily speak to.

• She's often seen perched on Britt's head or on Nully's back.

• When she was a baby Snom, she used to tuck herself in Britt's pockets, but she's obviously too big for that anymore. That's why she goes for Britt's head instead, which is fine as she weighs nothing.

• She's a night owl and will often wander about at night when everyone is sleeping.

• If Britt is travelling at night, she'll follow along outside of her Poké Ball to enjoy the nighttime with her trainer.

• She's very fond of music, especially soft piano tunes.

• It doesn't come as much of a surprise that she loves a good singing voice, her cry is very melodic.

• If she was human, she'd most likely sing like an angel.

♡ Red Death

• Don't let his name fool you, he's very calm and very difficult to annoy. It really takes a lot to phase him.

• Well, unless you're battling against him, of course.

• Unlike Britt's other Gyarados (Wrath), he's very obedient and easy to control.

• Red Death and Wrath do not get along. At all. Their personalities are much too different.

• Wrath sees Red Death as a rival that he needs to dethrone, while Red Death sees Wrath as a childish brute.

• He's much more mature and wiser than a good portion of Britt's pokémon.

• He's often meditating or practicing his Dragon Dances in a lake.

• 100% has a crush on Shortcake.

• He's extremely protective of the shy dragon. He's constantly staring at her or playing with her.

• They always look so happy to be in each other's company.

• They're probably secretly together.

• He doesn't hate Lucian, but RD's patience is always on thin ice when it comes to the arrogant Sylveon.

• He's usually the one to put Lucian back in his place. A few Waterfalls never hurt anyone, right?

• Right?

• Since Gyarados are notorious for being violent, people are usually very wary around him.

• He doesn't understand why. He's calm and clearly not displaying any form of anger, so what's the issue?

• He doesn't notice that his face is naturally contorted into an expression of pure fury.

• It's okay, those who are close to him know better.

• He's a good boy who will give you piggyback rides along bodies of water and genuinely enjoys playing in the water with his trainer.

• Sometimes, he'll use his tail to splash Britt, forgetting that he's 6.5 meters long and absolutely sends her flying across the water.

• It's all in good fun though. No offence taken or harm done.

♡ Snuggles

• The baby of the group.

• Everyone loves Snuggles.

• It's impossible to dislike Snuggles.

• It's illegal to dislike him.

• Even Lucian likes him.

• Snuggles is very oblivious to his surroundings and will bump into everything whenever he's rolling around.

• He only has one brain cell that pings around his head like a windows screen saver.

• He's cute, so it's forgivable.

• He's pure and untainted by the ugliness of the world. The team wants to keep him innocent.

• He has never shown interest in evolving, so he's an overpowered level 100 ball of fluffy destruction.

• He actually loves to battle and thinks that they are very fun!

• Britt loves to use him in battle to add salt to the stinging wound of defeat.

• Not many people can keep their pride intact after being yeeted to the next century by a dopey-looking Wooloo.

• Leon still has nightmares about Snuggles.

• Loves to cuddle his trainer at night to keep her warm.

• He really is the best blanket.

• He needs to be brushed at least twice a day. Gotta keep that wool nice and shiny!

• He wears a soothe bell around his neck outside of battle but has an eviolite during battles. Bulky and friendly ball of floof!

• Don't you dare insult him!

• It's not that you'll hurt his feelings, insults fly way over his head.

• But you'll personally offend an angry short stack of a trainer, a sea serpent, a dragon, a frozen moth, a man-made fighting machine and a pretty boy.

• Snuggles is loved. Very much.

Now that you got the Gym Leaders and such out of the way, how about one for the Elite Four members (Champions will not count since only, like, 3 of them have a specialized type)? Since only 8 out of the 14 types used have more than one E4 member, this means that Koga, Aaron, Bertha, Siebold, Olivia, and Kahili literally have no competition. :P (Also, I do know that you're not really fond of either Fire-type Elite Four, so for favorite, I guess you gotta choose the one you dislike less)

LETS GO. For types with only one elite four representative, I’m gonna talk about why I like or dislike them.

Normal Type- There isn’t one. MOVING ON.

Fighting Type- Least Favorite: Bruno is terrifying. In Generations he’s just muscles on muscles on muscles. And I saw an image of him from Lets Go games and good lord that man has demon eyes.

Fighting Type- Most Favorite: Marshal. Sure he’s the only other one but I do genuinely like his design. Even if his eyebrows are out there. He wears a mouth guard to protect his teeth! Man’s smart.

Flying Type- I like Kahili. Her design is cute. And I absolutely love how the flying type fits her as a golfer! I just wish she hadn’t come out of nowhere.

Poison Type- It’s just Koga and I’ve talked about him already. :P

Ground Type- Bertha’s the only one. I really love this sweet looking old lady. She’s totally Agatha’s twin sister or cousin and no one can convince me otherwise.

Rock Type- There’s only Olivia. While I love the idea of a strong rock type leader woman, I hate the character on a design and character basis. Sexy, barely anything wearing single woman. Not to mention all the robotic stufful in her house being popular among single women. Because IF A HOT CHICK IS SINGLE WE MUST MAKE SURE ITS KNOWN. Women are distinctly tied to a man in their life, don’t you know. And stop pointing her ass at us in the game, Game Freak. Its freaking gross. Especially considering its not just her butt pointed at us and they’ve arched her back in such a way for it to bring to mind.. things. Doesn’t help that she’s another female character who’s wearing ‘pants’ that are about as useful as boxer style panties and might as well just be that.

Bug Type- Shout out to Aaron for being unexpected on my part. Of all the types I could see in the elite four, Bug Type is not one of them. Precious bug boy.

Ghost Type- Least Favorite: (ITS ACEROLA. SHE COUNTS!) Okay fine I’ll pic someone else. We’ll go with Shauntal. For whatever reason her color scheme just does not work for me. Its too bland. I feel like a long dress would have looked nicer on her. Also that freaking.. whatever around her neck. Its supposed to look like a cat but.. why? Why though? Why not just give her a weird ass poofy neck thing with a clasp that looks like a duskull’s head or something since she’s a ghost type trainer? I mean I know the answer. They want her to be totes kawaii ghosty spooky girl. That’s why she’s got a short girlish dress instead of a cool long dress. Her being a writer’s cute though.

Ghost Type- Most Favorite: Sassy attitude grandma Agatha is best ghost trainer. I want to see her in a game again. That ISN’T a remake. YOU BETTER NOT HAVE KILLED HER OFF, GAMEFREAK. If freaking Oak gets to keep kicking, his rival better freaking get to as well. She’s in pokemon masters and that’s cool. But she looks like they have her a youth lift so she’s not TOO OLD LOOKING.

Steel Type- Least Favorite: Twig Legs Molayne. I was happy so see him in there though.

Steel Type- Most Favorite: Wikstrom is a knight. That is funny. His face reminds me of Steiner from Final Fantasy IX.

Fire Type- Least Favorite: Ronald McDonald I mean Flint. Yeah. Flint McDonald. Because I hate clowns.

Fire Type- Most Favorite: I might dislike Malva for being a member of the evil team and not getting removed from her position but I do like her design much more than basically anyone else in Team Flare.

Water Type- I love Siebold. He looks like a grumpy chef and I can picture him as the Gordon Ramsay of the pokemon world. He’s also cute.

Grass Type- There isn’t one~

Electric Type- There isn’t one here either~

Psychic Type- Least Favorite: CAITLIN. Sleepy spoiled little rich girl who went from having her butler do all her battles for her because she couldn’t control her emotions and psychic powers and then somehow becomes an ELITE FOUR MEMBER? Shit I’d accept her as a gym leader first but not basically one of the five most powerful trainers in a region. At least she seems like less of a sleepy rich bitch in Black2White2. Wouldn’t be surprised if she’s a sleepy brat in Masters again though. Also I want to cut her hair because god damn is that unnatural.

Psychic Type- Most Favorite: Lucian and Will are basically the same person in my eyes and neither of them are Caitlin, so props to both of them.

Ice Type- Least Favorite: Lorelei. Because she’s an ice queen in personality and the booby character in design. Also in Fire Red/Leaf Green she collects pokedolls because we gotta make sure to have something kawaii girly for our titty character. But it has to be a SECRET because people knowing her dark dark secret of collecting cute dolls as a smart adult calculated ice queen would probably leave her embarrassed and venerable and ugh sometimes I hate Japanese characters. ALSO, SHE GOT TIDDIES MAKE SURE YOU NOTICE HOW MASSIVE THEM THINGS ARE. Anime sure won’t let you forget it. Also put on some clothes suited to the cold. Jeez.

Ice Type- Most Favorite: I love Glacia’s design. Especially since it doesn’t look like she’s be too cold in an ice filled battle room. She has that older dignified woman thing going for her. My brain wants to give her more of a southern belle accent.

Dragon Type- Least Favorite: I’m putting Lance here only because I have to have a least favorite. I love Lance.

Dragon Type- Most Favorite: Drake looks like a crazy old man who spent years at sea hunting down that giant Dragonite Bill saw in the anime as his white whale. Hot Grandpa Energy. This is a man you respect. Those eyes are scary intimidating.

Dark Type- Least Favorite: Karen, because I have to pick someone as least favorite. I love Karen.

Dark Type- Most Favorite: Sidney is cute and has a very friendly personality that I like a lot. He totally feels like the type who’d see a little girl crying because she didn’t win the cute prize at a carnival and would win it for her. Also, unlike Grimsley, SIDNEY KNOWS HOW TO WEAR SOCKS WITH DRESS SHOES. God damnit, Grimsley what is wrong with you.

Fairy Type- There isn’t one. I hope next gen has one!

My god, this was a hard battle.

My team consisted of:

Infernape- Flame wheel, Fire blast, Rock climb, Close combat

Lopunny- Jump kick, Rock smash, (yeah I know), Return, Bounce

Leafeon- Toxic, Solarbeam, Giga Drain, secret power

Gengar- Sludge bomb, Shadow ball, Mean look, (That’s for later), Dark pulse

Luxray- Discharge, Thunder, Crunch, Strength

And finally, Floatzel- Surf, Waterfall, Ice beam, Crunch

I started the elite four with all of my Pokemon at lvl 55. Good start, right? WRONG.

It went downhill as soon as I got to Lucian. Aaron, Bertha and Flint were a walk in the park. But Lucian?? MY GOD.

I eventually defeated Lucian with critical hit luck and quick thinking. Cynthia? SHE’S AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT BEAST. I love her, BUT SHES A BEAST IN BATTLE.

I one shot her Spiritomb with my Infernape’s Fire blast, which was a critical hit. Next was her Milotic... GOD. I switched to Luxray and used thunder. 1-hit KO. Things were looking good so far. And then came Garchomp. This thing. Was the death of at LEAST half my team. Its most dangerous attack is definitely dragon rush. I switched to Floatzel and used ice beam, it was also holding the nevermeltice. It activated Garchomp’s sitrus berry. 1-hit KO from dragon rush so there went Floatzel.

I went to Gengar next, using shadow ball, but it barely worked and Cynthia healed. Then another 1hit KO FROM DRAGON RUSH. Things were looking bad so I went to Leafeon to poison it. Didn’t work, it was too fast and 1 shot Leafeon too. So, I went back to Luxray, used a revive on Floatzel, then healed it up. I was Praying that it wouldn’t used earthquake on Luxray and thank god it didn’t. Then it sent Luxray down so I went back to Floatzel. GOT A CRITICAL HIT with ice beam. There ended my nightmare. Or so I thought.

Next was her Lucario, I healed Infernape and took it down easy with Fire blast and flame wheel. Then it was her Togekiss’ turn. AAAGH. I knew I was going to need Infernape to deal with roserade so I switched to Lopunny, healed Infernape and Luxray, while sacrificing Lopunny. (I love my team I swear)

I sent Luxray to thunder one shot Togekiss. Then all was left was her Roserade.... who knows extrasensory.. FUCK. I stalled I little bit with Luxray until it went down. Now her and I both had only one Pokemon left. I was hoping I could just one shot Fire blast her BUT I MISSED. And as expected, she used extrasensory. I thought it was over. But Infernape had a measly 10hp left. And I was faster. So I prayed to god that my Fire blast would hit. AND IT DID.

And that got me in the champion’s seat. Thank god.. I laid my 2ds down and had a heart attack 😂😂😂 Cynthia. By far. Is the hardest champion in all of Pokemon this far. Not kidding!
