My partner and I were laying in bed talking and we heard Elliot (our orange cat) making angry little cat noises, so I grabbed my phone and pointed my phone flashlight at him. He was wrapped around Daffodil (our tuxedo cat) and they stayed like this for a solid two minutes. Just on the floor. They looked so stupid I had to draw them

they have a mutual respect for each other but aren’t like, super close. they are both a little too similar to get along- loyal, stubborn, fiercely protective of those they consider family- and tbh theyre both autistic but not the same Font of autistic so it’s hard for them to really connect. at first, finch HATED davey and davey really didn’t like him either, but they eventually come to terms with the fact that they’re always going to be around each (bc davey is around jack, and jack is around race, and race is around finch) so they may as well just accept their differences and tolerate each other! i think they’d eventually get friendly, but theyre not the kind of friends that would just hang out together alone

I've had this sappy idea for a while, and I guess there truly is no better time than sibling day to give your siblings a sibling-themed gift. I made these photo frames for each of you using wood from old fences from around the farm that we've taken down through the years, and included two photos. One is of all of us at Easter this year, and the other is the photo that we took, just the Newman siblings, in front of the house. I wanted something we can each hang in our homes, so that no matter what chapter we're on, we'll always have each other. Love you guys.

It's your special day! And while I'm sure that you're out on a boat trying to catch the biggest fish, just know that I feel like I reeled in the best catch this year. Ha, ha, ha, I know -- I can be funny every now and then. But jokes aside, I wanted to get you some things that I felt like you would get good use out of, since you deserve some of that pampering for your birthday. The apron is is for all of the cooking that you're going to do, since you're on a roll! I'll be sending you recipes to try out and everything. I can maybe be convinced to help a little, too. The watch, simply because. It's a nice one, you can wear it to our next formal event in town. And lastly, the boots -- they're cowboy boots, but I also think that they're nice enough that you could wear them out to dinner or wherever you go! ok so what our beloved elliot is talking about is jack’s pride and joy: cowboy worm. cowboy worm is the product of redbull, 3 am, a sewing needle, and a brother named Charlie.

this, my friends, is cowboy worm. cowboy worm is a stick and poke that charlie gives jack because jack thought it would be a good idea and didnt realize it would hurt so much. he gets this tattoo when he is sixteen. cowboy worm is on jack’s ankle.

for the others:

he has a little ghost wearing a cowboy hat on his calf. this was his first professional one at nineteen; this was still before he knew what he wanted his aesthetic to be, but he felt like it was a good merge between cowboy and not-cowboy.

next was the cowboy on the bucking horse, which is on the right side of his ribs. this is one he got at twenty, and cemented exactly the what his theme is for all of his tattoos.

he has a longhorn skull on his shoulder!

on his thigh, he has a cowgirl with a smoking gun- it’s in pinup style and he thinks it looks badass.

he has a hand of cards with a bullet hole through them on his stomach!

most of his other ones are just scattered all over the place. barbed wire on his wrist, a pair of cowboy boots on his forearm, cacti and desert scenes and skeleton cowboys and bison heads and a coyote and scorpions and snakes- anything western, anything wild, it’s on his body for good.

i like to think when he marries davey later on, he gets a single skyscraper tattooed on his sternum, because davey is his city boy and he loves him a lot.
