When Beast Convoy and Lio Convoy synchronized the power of their energy matrices, they transformed into Burning Convoy and Flash Lio Convoy respectively. Are these types of transformations common among matrix wielders like them? If so, what transformation does Big Convoy possess?

In order to promote cooperation and camaraderie among Convoy-type Transformers, Vector Sigma made a point of outfitting their Energon Matrices with the ability to resonate with each other. However, in one universe, Big Convoy's lingering hate for the Predacons over the death of his father was able to manifest in a sort of phantom resonance with Blue Big Convoy's extinguished Matrix, resulting in the birth of Blizzard Big Convoy.

Wreathed in white fur, Blizzard Big Convoy possessed the ability to supercool the air around him, freezing lesser foes dead in their tracks. In this Absolute Zero Field, only Big Convoy had the strength to still move, leaving him free to devastate his foes with the Blizzard Cannon. This form had none of Big Convoy's traditional bravado, his processors focused only on the elimination of his enemies.

However, as he became lost in his grief, he found himself unable to tell friend from foe, posing great risk to the Gung Ho’s crew of cadets. Only by uniting the warmth of their sparks to resist the cold were they able to embrace their commander and bring him back to the side of justice. It wasn’t until the final battle with Unicron that Big was able to truly master this form, resonating not with his grief, but with the memory of his father, purifying this ability and allowing him to banish the planet eater to the cold of space.

In the haunted au when you talk about Optimus losing cybertron do you mean it’s being ruled by deceptions and isn’t safe for autobots to stay there? Or the more angsty route of cyberton being uninhabitable due to something that happened?

Cause one is very sad and the other means primus is dead and I don’t think I’ll survive those implications T-T

it's a little bit of both!

i think the war was getting so bad that if it had continued any longer it would've led to cybertron's complete and utter ruin. and while the autobots could've lasted a few more decades, perhaps even a century or two, the primes saw the writing in the wall and convinced optimus to retreat before he lost more of his people and helped condemn cybertron to its death.

better to leave their planet alive in the control of the decepticons than kill it in a war that would doom both sides to extinction. they can always return once they find a way to end the war swiftly, but they don't know if there would be a way to bring their world back from death.

neither of them counted with the fact that because the matrix is leaving with optimus, energon would once again stop flowing through cybertron, leaving the decepticons to either return to mining for it or hunting OP down through the galaxy to bring him back. guess which one they choose.

New Optimus for my collection! and the first piece of Transformers One Merch! I found these lil guys at WalMart they are just a lil 4-5 inch figure they don't transform or anything. The main thing that it does is that you can switch its head from Orion Pax to Optimus Prime and back which is kinda neat. but yeah he doesn't do much his arms move up and down and that is pretty much it I just thought he was as cool lil figure so I picked him up

Hi vector prime! I have a question which I’ve been dying to know, how do transformers age? I’m asking this because some transformers look like old men, for example, revenge of the fallen jetfire has a cane and a beard and alpha trion also has a beard and some transformers look like kids too, for example, wheelie and those kids that were shown on the planet that unicron gobbled up. I hope there is an answer to this transformers age thing, thanks vector.

Well, I like to think I've aged gracefully, ha!

In truth, you ask a good question, though I think your lived experience as a human has colored your perspective. We do not age as humans do, but our bodies are still subject to wear and tear. Our fuel lines erode and leak, our gears grind and slip, our belts become brittle, our joints seize. We discolor, our paint scratches off, decals peel free, chrome flakes away. Stress marks line our faces and hinges. We rust. Our minds are prone to different kinds of degeneration, as newer memories overwrite older ones, or as unhealthy feedback loops develop into rampancy. But few of these processes are fatal, and fewer still are irreversible, so long as we take the occasional tune-up to replace parts as they fail.

The physical traits you observe aren't directly tied to the process of aging. With the usual caveat that not all Transformers are the same, even within the a single universe… it tends to be that, once we are protoformed or built, the only time our bodies naturally change is when we take on a new form. Now, you may not realize this, as we still must appear very alien to you—but on Earth, this might involve changing our appearance in robot form, too, mimicking physical traits that we identify with, the better to be understood by your kind; this is sometimes called "humanizer" technology. Don't be too quick to judge based on appearance, though, as sometimes what you perceive as a mustache might simply be a coincidental arrangement of kibble!

Otherwise, our bodies only change in the course of upgrades. After choosing our first alt-form, we may undergo procedures to bring us up to "full size", speaking either culturally or biologically. There are universes where our sparks grow continuously through our lifetimes, demanding periodic upgrades to match, with the bodies of the biggest and oldest Transformers practically being extensions of the planet—but those are extreme cases, and it's usually not a necessity. You mention Wheelie, who had something of an arrested development while marooned on Quintessa, and although there exist divergent timelines where he did get a larger body, he's usually comfortable with his stature; many Transformers take pride in being "Minibots" and may even make the conscious decision to downsize.

In the modern age, there is certainly an association between youth and a diminutive frame, as Micromasters, Mini-Cons and Protoformers join our society. The fact is that Transformers nowadays are smaller than they used to be, because fuel is more scarce. There have been many such paradigm shifts in the construction of Transformers: generations are usually demarcated by broad design trends, major technological advancements, and shared aesthetic sensibilities. When it comes to these fashions, there are some classics that anyone can recognise—facial adornments, oversized chins, and non-visible olfactory sensors are all characteristic of different points in history, and give a clue for how old we might be. You know, the oldest Transformers predate the introduction of the ball-and-socket joints which are so ubiquitous in Earth life; I myself have not one in my body!

The multiverse being as strange and wondrous as it is, there are plenty more esoteric reasons behind these physical changes. Famously, the Matrix of Leadership is known to induce a metamorphosis in its bearers to better accommodate the collective wisdom of Primes past. Exotic kinds of Energon have been known to possess transformative properties. For reasons yet unknown to my Transtech friends, exposure to negative-polarity particles correlates strongly with facial structures resembling human goatees.

Some believe that we once lived mortal lives, aging as most other species throughout the galaxy do, only for that mortality to have been taken from us in our race's infancy—through the interference of Quintessons, or the defeat of Mortilus, spoken of in myth as death incarnate.

TF One Worldbuilding Bits That Make Me Lose My Mind

The constant "Transforming" of the very planet itself, and the Cybertronians' culture somewhat revolving around having to work with their topography constantly changing and moving.

The premise that the energon of Cybertron does not flow if the "true ruler" is not present.

"He who so findeth this Matrix of Leadership is rightwise king, born of Cybertron..." Optimus is literally King Arthur, and Alpha Trion is Merlin

What little we see of the "Organic" aspect of the planet- the "Deer," the grass, the moss, the evidence that not all of Cybertron is just shiny metal.

The evidence of the ruined buildings up on the surface, indicating that life up on the surface and solid, permanent structures were once possible and they're not doomed to live underground.

The fact that the buildings of Iacon seem almost like upside-down skyscrapers hanging from the ceiling, which indicates either they were built this way, like stalactites of a cave, or perhaps were topside at one time and then the planet folded the entire city into its underground to hide it from danger.

Roads and tracks that form in front of the transports and fade out behind them rather than being present all the time so the air is open for flight-capable bots, which seem to be in abundance.

The height difference between the cog-less bots and those with cogs- it's like Sentinel trapped them in prepubescence and wouldn't let them get their high-school growth spurts.

Titan/Cityspeaker au!!! 💙❤️

I have a ton of ideas for this AU that I haven't put into motion yet, so if you have any questions I'll probably have an answer ^^

" Beyond the outskirts of Iacon, there once was a meek Titan and a protective Cityspeaker. While they existed in harmony, the decreasing amount of energon resources slowly wrecked their comfortable life in isolation. Desperate for survival, the Cityspeaker took the Titan for a new start in Kaon, where he would receive work as a medic practicing in the illegal gladitorial pits. While the Cityspeaker was desensitized to the cruel inequality Kaon—and the rest of Cybertron—had to bring, the Titan felt nothing but sorrow, resenting his inability to do anything to help.

Since Titans were an extreme rarity, the Cityspeaker disguised the Titan as an ordinary ship in hopes of his identity never being discovered. While travelling for unknown purposes, Alpha Trion found the Titan through an abnormally large life signal. Confronted by the wise mech, the Cityspeaker caved and allowed him to communicate with the Titan through him. While conversing, Alpha Trion realized the Titan had all the qualities worthy of being a Prime, and so explained his prophecies to the Cityspeaker.

Alpha Trion had managed to convince the duo to protest against the caste system alongside Megatronus, with the Titan communicating through his Cityspeaker. After enough time had passed, the council had favored the Titan over Megatronus, choosing to entrust the Matrix onto him. The Titan was named Prime, and the Cityspeaker was expected to serve, protect, and aid him in his journey.

Thus, everything—yet nothing—had changed. "

In this AU Titans and cityspeakers are practically unheard of. While Ratchet's face markings are permanent/not makeup, I doubt anyone would question them since they wouldn't even know what they mean.

I guess the public would become aware of such when Optimus would be named Prime? "Hey guys, your new leader is a giant fuckin' spaceship incapable of talking to you directly. Have fun!"

I'm thinking of Ratchet being unusually protective of his 'ship' ... "Hey, don't lean against him—I mean, it..."

I had this idea of a native woman who rides a transformer buffalo and wonders the Great Plains after the fall of modern society and works to protect those seeking to return to their rightful land, and sparklings emerging and being taking in and raised by a human family. I decided to combine the two. I am not native myself!! So if there are aspects that need to be changed please tell me! I got inspiration for Dakoda from @off.the.rez on TikTok

Iina and Dakoda emerged after the matrix awakened the energon within the earth, born on a reservation in Wyoming. Seeing that they did come from the earth and were part of it, they were taken in and raised like any other child.

As they grew, their older sister Nanabah took it upon herself to help defend their community from both human and alien threats. Knowing that society had basically collapsed and people were on a free for all, Nanabah wanted to make sure her people were able to flourish like they used to, without the government stepping on their necks.

Nanaba and Iina are dedicated to helping others in need and protecting the wildlife native to the great planes, they hope to use this opportunity to build a better tomorrow for all. Dakoda on the other hand is a lot more lost when it comes to figuring out what he wants to do. He doesn’t want to leave his family behind but he also wants to head to one of the still functioning cities in order to meet other transformers like himself. Even if he prefers to live like a human, he still can’t help but feel different.

PART ONE

Sentinel Prime

When Sentinel Prime first saw you he was disgusted. You were still on surface, running amuck with those dears, trying to survive and hide from Quintessons the best you can. Of course he first though was to just kill you, yet seeing how small, week and fragile you were, decided to use it to his gains. It did not take much of effort to catch you, being huge and you being small, easily catching up to you and wrapping you in his servo, squeezing a bit to hard to intimidate you and to bring you in to submission. Upon his return to Iocon you were presented as a sole survivor of you species when Quintessosn attacked you and "your people" and he, Sentinel Prime, was there just in time to save you from their clutches. Immideatly you were welcomed by every bot with warmth and the productivity increased, so Sentinel kept you for him self as a pet, putting a collar on you, if you tried to run he would punish you - refusing food and squeezing you a bit to hard until he can hear bones crack under the pressure. It did not take to long for you to submit to him, to scared to do anything "stupid". He would totally treat you like a chihuahua - carrying you every where, dressing you up in most expensive attire he can find and would fancy gold on you. Gold jewellery, gold chains and gold collar. and you can not leave his sight at all thanks to the chain and Arachnid. After all, why would you ever want to try to run away from your saviour.

Orion Pax

On one of his runs to the library he would accidently stumble upon you hiding from every one in a vent, something he was using to get in to library, scaring the shit out of you. you almost gave out his location if he didn't grabbed you and shut you up, without hurting of course. he was surprised just how small and week you were, so he had to ask him self just how you managed to survive so long on your own. and he could not just leave you all her by your self. Bringing you back to the mines was simple but taking care of you was a bit harder then he though. humans are completely different to transformers, needing different things to survive, like organic food, shelter and plenty of rest. And it was hard to provide. All the shady places he went to just to get thing the human needed to live comfortably. Of course D-16 was not a big fan of another mouth to feed, especialy with how many shenanigans Orion gets him self with authority, but after some time Orion managed to make D-16 change their mind. So the human has to get used to cuddling and non stop speaches about better future and legends about matrix of leader ship.

D-16

Orion brought the human to their quarters and to be fare that he was not to happy with the idea of taking care of something so week and useless. They could not do any thign to help them, the mines were far to dangerous and they were just to small. Though there were a few perk. Far to soon D-16 found out that being small is useful with getting things from hard to reach places, easily squeeze in and retrieving them, and steal things to. No one watching out for something small to steal a few cubes of energon from elite and bring to him. and something else to. it was good to find another person who would listen to his rant about Megatronus for hours, looking at him with wide eyes of curiosity. So when human started bringing him little Megatronus trinkets he allowed him self to dote on human.

Elita

Lets just say it was not something she expected to happened. She was aiming to be promoted and already had servos full with Orion and D-16 shenanigans, and with Darkwing breathing down her neck - it was clear that taking care of something pathetic as human was out of question. She did ignore you for sometime, trying her best no to squash you as you ran around, hiding in boxes, behind rocks and equipment, avoiding her bosses attention. After some time though she was quite impressed by your survival skills and staying out of way so she decided to try and trap you. Thankfully she had some access to information and manage to improvise. After fighting with shady cellar she managed to obtain something strange that was not made out of metal, just like you, and placed it in a trap she set up. Though you were smart enough to quickly outsmarting Elita's trap and escape with meal, hiding away, which did frustrate Elita quite a lot. She was the best, so how did you managed to outsmart her? She tried again and again, doing her best to hide that it was trap, but nothing work. Until she just gave up and placed another "meal" for you at the entrance of your hidey hole before catching you her self, wrapping her servos around you. Elita was quite shocked to see just how fierce you are, trying to worm and wriggle your way out of her servos, letting out strange noises. and how squishy you are. She took you back to her charging station, a separate room for her due to her rank, how ever small it is, and kept you in a glass box. You had every thing you needed to be in good shape - a ring to run in, place to rest and enough water and meal. Time to time she would swoop you out just to dote on you or spill all the frustration out, telling just how every thing went on her shift, happy to have someone to listen to her. and she found it enjoyable to dress you up, no matter how much you protested, not to fond of bows and cute clothes.

B-127/ Bumblebee

Another cycle of watching trash burn was rudely interrupted with you falling down the chute, screaming and scrambling away, all while B-127 stood there shocked, trying to process what just happened, before scrambling to catch you. There was not much space for you to run, no crack to hide and a big bot trying to catch you - it really did not ended well as you were hurt. Your sides hurt, even if all the trash you fell with managed to slow you down and cushion. As soon as you were in B-127 servos he was on cloud 9 to have someone else for company besides Steve, Ep-508 and A-atron. Not you though. You immideatly got bombarded with his non stop talking, regretting to explore trash chute for something edible with every second, but even you knew if some one was in solitary for so long they would go crazy. So you become his outlet, something to held his crumbling sanity together and so far he kept you safe, helping to salvage something edible to pull though another day and keep him company to insane bot. It did not help that Badasatron also was incredibly touch starved, petting, hugging and snuggling you when ever he could, even in his sleep, so you were basiclay trapped and any attempt to live was met with "puppy" eyes.
