guilty pleasure is marked here because I have a few friends that really don't like them together. I wish there was a "basically canon" square on this bingo because they basically feel that way after raison d'etre ... but they also don't even know what's going on because they're constantly miscommunicating but I find it funny in a romantic comedy way. most recent evidence is Shu throwing a clingy girlfriend tantrum at Mika because he's not sure if he wants to move to Paris or not (I really wish we had a prologue for raison d'etre so this event didn't jumpscare me but it's fine)

also sidenote. I'm usually not picky about ship names/name order because i don't think it's a real issue, but I tend to use mikashu over shumika because i think mika better describes my feelings about them...

their relationship evolved from Mika chasing after Shu and her pushing him away because he'd be better off elsewhere, and she was scared of hurting him the way she hurt Nazuna, to Shu unintentionally falling in love with him and desperately wanting him to stay with her... and to choose her but being unable to just say it because she wants him to choose that on her own... and not just because she asked him to...
