#this was supposed to be a warmup but i got carried away.... i havent drawn in so long that its been hard to focus orz #im testing a new brush for fun. again.. i think i can use this for clean lineart..?? im surprised i went as long as i did with the #narinder brush honestly... but i wanna try something new so here we are again #if i could get my shit together id love to draw a model of his van because i have smth really cool in mind..i was looking at pictures #of old wooden caravans like the horse drawn ones and i wonder if i could combine that with the shape of an RV #i like the ones with a door at the rear bc it kinda lookslike a train caboose.. maybe he'd get someone to weld him a custom ride!!#idk how intricate and detailed i can design it without making it a pain in the ass to draw every time BUT i have a general idea #it would probably have a door on the side but idk if itd flip down to make a stage or upwards to make a roof?? and then theres a #curtain behind it where he would come out and do his show methinks.. ive been looking at pictures of camping vans on pinterest for ideas #i dont think he LIVES in the van since i mentioned his home is an old run down theatre when he isnt on the road. i wanna draw that too #but the RV should have enough for long travels like a bed and cabinets..? maybe a net hanging on the ceiling where all his props go #id like to think of ideas for a hometown.. toronto has a huge entertainment district so it would make sense for him to live there #although id also love to base parts of it from vancouver since id love to go back and visit </3 #..would there be furth names for those places?? nyancouver... clawronto... whinnypeg (like a horse whinny)...#pawson creek.... purrlington... otterwa.. i love coming up with names lol #my art #myart #my oc #oc #sleight #laikas comet oc #fan character #fur #furry art

im so jealous of ppl who want to and can read fics often. i have to jump over like 6 mental walls before i can even open a fic, and then another 4 to actually begin reading

#and if something about the fic throws me off even a little i not only immediately stop reading it #but it sets the whole process back for every other fic in my marked for later pile #predominantly i think my current problem is time constraints? i *have* to sleep for my job or it puts #unnecessary risk on not only me but everyone else i meet on the road. and also im Driving All Day so i can't read then #and then i come home and somehow it takes me 4-5 hours to do shower/dinner/unwind #and then it's like okay great i can either dedicate an hour-ish to my own shit or i can read maybe #MAYBE 1-2k words of what is probably a 5k+ fic #and it's just. frustrating #i think i read probably 40 or more fics in 2022 and since then i've read maybe 5 #anyway this is a cry for help maybe but mostly it's an apology to every fic author i know whose fics i have not and #maybe will not ever read #ily ur great pls keep writing

2 months into 30.

Growing into somebody I can be genuinely, genuinely proud of. At night I rest well 🌛

#Just had this dawn on me tonight. I am not yet arrived at my best life. But I know it is right around the corner! I am hands-on creating it #Consistent work + clear goals. No easy roads but the one cracked and erroneous and totally hiddledy-piddledy #(the one so typical for life. unfortunately sometimes lol. but so we all do grow in the fish bowl. till you gotta swap fish bowls)#With binoculars I can prob see the life that is for me already. Freed from the shoebox I find myself in now at moments #Living in the city. hope abroad. a profession that sets me free and feels limitless and enriching. Laughing more. eating great foods.#a beautiful bed. a clean and eccentric interior that slaps and makes anyone feel straight at home when they are visiting.#stories to tell. to hear. things to see. things to share #yeah I am working towards that every day rn! ass off. With just another little extra patience I'll arrive at it so soon #I gotta believe and I gotta put in the labour. and I will do it smiling reminding myself of all these things I just listed 🙏✍️

sooo glad we live in the universe where twdgs4 was rewritten to be about saving the school instead of the original lis2-esque on the road each-episode-is-a-new-location plot. really dodged a bullet there

dont know if it was due to the cuts and collapsing work environment (no budget for all the assets needed) or what but the school plot is just like the perfect setting for her to end her story. and we really almost got a plot about her.... just trying to make it back to her original house? oof

#my biggest problem with lis2 is that being on the road made a lot of your choices essentially meaningless #like wheres the threat of consequence when you know youll be gone by the next episode anyway?#the kids were originally gonna kick them out permanently.......Nightmare Scenario #the plot of her trying to get back 'home' is so silly honestly like its Just nostalgia/fan bait. convince me otherwise you cant #it makes no sense....she lived right outside a major city... that place is Not safe anymore #it wasnt even safe when she left it 8 years ago girl why would you go back #her finding a place to MAKE a new home and having to fight for it? with a community of her peers who love and respect her? so much better #shes a community leader now :) of a bunch of kids living secretly in the woods just trying to make a safe home for themselves #in a hostile world that wants them dead #love that for her #shes been managing adults since she was 11 and even before that tried to be a voice of reason. at 8 years old. community leader makes sense #s4 is just so narratively sound to me for clems character that i cant believe there was ever any other direction they wanted to go in #every time im thinking about how good s4 is i remember what it almost was......... and i am so grateful we got what we did #not only do we live in the universe where s4 is about the school but we Also live in the universe where s4 was un-cancelled :) yay #shit makes me so happy man. i remember clem is living happily at ericsons and my day is Immediately improved #these little fictional bitches in my head giving me free serotonin on command #it speaks #twdg

i wish i had the words to explain what yoongi and his d-day did for my mental health this year. i really wish i had the power to somehow let him know that i related to every word he said in that album and everything he spoke about in his documentary, and that his wisdom and reassurances really pushed me forward like nothing else all these months. ugh i wish.

its pouring rain and thundering so bad and I can't sleep because all I can think is how terrified and miserable meows probably is right now

driv and I went out in the rain earlier and called and looked for her again, we got soaked and that was hours ago so I can only imagine how drenched she is rn.

we set up trail cameras and another doghouse but still nothing. at this point I kind of hope someone just stole her because at least it would mean she was inside right now

and ofc my ceiling chooses now to spring a second fucking leak and start pouring water into my room

I do think wyll would appreciate hearing about baldur's gate from the other companions. It must be bittersweet- to know that the city continues to go on, day after day, because of your sacrifice. That you can only hear about its soirees and busy streets and its stupid fucking bridge because of your pact and subsequent exile.

Idk, do the companions think about that when they tell him their stories? Maybe shadowheart tells him small little details of parts of the city he wouldn't recognize- how much does she remember of the city? Can one of her few memories be a source of comfort for the both of them? Maybe karlach tries to focus on what they'll do when they do get there- we'll get a pint at your favorite bar! We'll go get food, and see a show, and spend some money on something nice to commemorate your coming back. And astarion reminds him that after 200 years the elfsong is still there, just under new management (and infinitely stickier), so it's still going to be recognizable to wyll, the city is still his. Do they think about how his actions as a 17 yr old boy has altered the course of their lives, even if they didn't realize it at the time?

#i think maybe karlach has a throwaway story to tell over the fire one night #and he get the biggest wettest red eye and is like ohhh i remember that restaurant... i'm so glad it's still there :')#and every baldurian is like ah fuck. we have no choice. we have to tell him stories now #it'd be fun for everyone. gale and lae'zel would probably be interested #mayb it'd jog shadowheart's memories. maybe karlach and astarion can air their grievances out about the city to a captive audience LOL #but that would all be an excuse. the real reason to talk abt the city #is so he can be reminded of his home and remind himself he belongs there :)#idk just thinking *kicks can down the road*

1/11/24

I had great workouts this weekend.

65 min on the stair mill with a weighted vest, 2 days in a row.

And 10 miles on the bike after an hour on the treadmill sunday.Sunday.

The CBD gummies I love do affect my eating, which means I need to cut back on that.

I love the feeling though.

I am surfing thru the work week.

My next weigh in is the 14th.

It is January in the frozen north, I am trying to avoid the normal season depression. The happylight helps. Still taking SamE, and adding in St John's Wort, & happy tea as needed.

I actually feel really good alot. I have had some great days.

It is really hard to believe I am under 200 after so many years of struggle.

I am lighter on my feet, my endurance is better.

And... Idk. Might fuck around and do the Manitou incline for my birthday. I will research Temps & shit.

But I also saw Michael Franti is at Red rocks in May.

I am also trying to save money and get out of debt. So there is that.
