Eyes Set To Kill - Reach (2008)

this is a pretty solid album imo, especially for it being their first. theyre also one of the only post-hardcore/metalcore/emo bands with female leads i know from that era. the album isnt boring, but it does have a sense of sameness to it, but unique at the same time. i like how raw first albums tend to feel/sound when artists try to find their footing, it just sounds more real and immersive i think. imperfectness gives things a unique feel that just makes them that much better.

8.5/10 on the Lily scale!!

- found a black veil brides cd on a run a was so happy since he hasn't heard them since the apocalypse started.

- he was looking through a record shop when he thought the album cover to the world outside was cool

- now obviously he didn't want to judge a book by its cover but he thought he should check them out

- as soon as they started playing he fell in love with them!

- from then on he was a big fan of them

- Favorite songs: darling, heights, ticking bomb, violent kiss

- one song he enjoys but is a bit suspicious about it
