Mr American Pie -A Mafia 3 Fanfiction (Donovan X Reader) (Part 8)
Warnings: Language, Violence,
Note: I decided to do this sudden fast forward to actually make the 70's vibe
Times Square New York 1978, Its been a long time since Donovan and I had been in a relationship and we are going for the people who were involved in assassination of JFK for the last 6 years whenever we had time to go out of town and there were no rackets to do. And this is the last one of them. It was the 4th of July so a huge parade was happening on the streets. And its time to give him a taste of his own medicine. Despite what happened in 1963, he still had the guts to ride in a Convertible.
"(M/n), I have a clear shot! Over"
"Go ahead! Donovan, over"
The gunshot echoes throughout Broadway and the target's head gets blown up.
Donovan gets down from the roof and I told him to meet up with me at an alleyway.
I tried to make my way through the heavy traffic but the Hundreds of cars and yellow taxis making their way through the city especially during a Holliday made things worse.
"Come on!!!" I said before honking at the taxi in front of me.
I decided I would drive the wrong eay to get there faster. I weaved through the opposite direction of traffic while "Hold The Line" by Toto played on my radio.
"hey! What took you?!" He asked in a slightly annoyed tone.
"well were in New York" I said as I shrugged.
"They saw me!" He said before opening the door and getting in.
He got into my new (but stolen and bland looking) Ford Fairmont Station wagon.
I immediately floored it and the NYPD was right behind us in their cruisers. We tried to drive to New Jersey so we can get to Empire Bay but cops were already there, so we had to go to Brooklyn instead then lose the cops there before we make our way to Empire Bay.
"Damn! Since when did these cops become so good?" I was so frustrated. I made a quick turn to the Brooklyn Bridge and Donovan started to prepare a bomb so we could get rid of the cops. He shoved it out the window and it blew up taking out the officers. The cops and the surrounding vehicles go up in flames. And Donovan and I, as unhinged as usual. Don't give a shit. We rode around the borough avoiding all checkpoints and abandoned the car somewhere. We went to a nearby parking lot and looked for a car we could take. We scanned cars by their locks and saw if anyone left their keys. Until we came across a 71' AMC Rambler left unlocked and keys in the visor. We got in and we were bound for Empire Bay.
We stopped at a motel at Empire Bay before continuing our road trip.
"We alert our citizens about two suspects we believe are involved at killing a certain group of people for a reason we are yet to discover."
Donovan took a sip of his coffee while I stayed focused on the road as the news played.
"The descriptions of the first suspect is an Asian Male, Below average height, slightly muscular, tan skin, possibly Vietnamese. The second suspect, Caucasian male, Blonde hair, Green eyes, sometimes wearing aviators, average height, slightly chubby, usually wearing a light brown suit."
"Meh, they ain't finding us, we're already at Alabama!"
I scoffed and just as I thought we were safe. A patrol car pulled us over.
"Pretend we don't speak English!"
"I speak Vietnamese but I don't look Vietnamese!"
Donovan complained.
"Russian then!"
I suggested before stopping the car and stepping out. The officer slowly walked towards us. The sound of gravel crunching under his shoes. Lights from the patrol car are still flashing, illuminating the evening.
"Licence please." The patrolman ordered us.
I started speaking mixed Vietnamese and broken accented English.
"Harro! You want ticke? Hele! ticket flom Wriglar Stadium at Rost Haben!"
I said trying to annoy the officer showing him a ticket which we used for an assassination at a Lost Haven Stadium during a game of the "Pups" and the "Triplets". Meanwhile Donovan started saying random stuff in fluent Russian.
"OK!!! Both of you! Just go!" The officer angrily blurted.
We finally got to drive back. To New Bordeaux. We were excited to see Lincoln again after a week of travelling.
We got to the newly renovated Sam's Bar. It was back up and running.
"Donovan! (M/n)!!!" Lincoln yelled as we entered and he embraced both of us in his huge arms. The new bar seemed like it wasn't wrecked just a month ago.
"Sam Would've loved this!" Donovan commented.
"does this jukebox work?" I asked examining the Jukebox.
"go ahead!" Lincoln encouraged me while pointing at a bunch of cassette tapes.
I started to play "Dont Stop Me Now" by Queen.
We started to party with the Underbosses as a celebration of the opening of the bar. The party was real hip. Well that's until tomorrow when we finally get a Hangover.
Soon the oarty ended and only me, Donovan, and Lincoln was left with the Jukebox still playing. The song "Yesterday Once More" then started playing.
Out of nowhere Donovan just took my hand and started to lead the dance.
"Donnie! Were still cleani-"
"I'll help you with that later!"
He cut me off and I turned red when Lincoln let out a soft chuckle as we danced in the center of the empty dance floor. It seemed to have triggered Donovan's memories of when we first danced together back in my old house.

1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION DRIVER
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION SERIES
There were new convenience options, such as a new air-conditioner system, a new heater, and a nine-tube signal-seeking radio. The Parklane, a Fairlane trimmed Tudor station wagon, was added to compete with the Chevrolet Nomad. A new addition at midyear was the "Town Victoria" 4-door hardtop model which, along with the new Customline Victoria 2-door hardtop, were meant to compete with the Chevrolet Bel Air and Plymouth Belvedere. The Crown Victoria Skyliner's sales were plummeting with just 603 made, and it would be replaced by a convertible the next year.
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION SERIES
The eggcrate grille featured on the 1955 cars was widened into a series of rectangles for 1956, but this subtle exterior change was nothing compared to Ford's adoption of a 12-volt electrical system, with a six volt system optional. : pp 394–395 A sedan delivery variant was marketed as the Ford Courier. : p 395 The Ranch Wagon and Custom Ranch Wagon were 2 door wagons while the Country Sedan and Country Squire models were 4 door wagons, the latter featuring wooden appliqué side mouldings. Station wagons were offered as a separate series for the first time for 1955. The 1955 Fords were marketed under separate names for each of the three trim levels: Ford Mainline, Ford Customline and Ford Fairlane. The condenser was mounted in front of the radiator as in later cars. The "Select Aire" design was carried over to the 1956 models with slightly different cold air vents in the same location as on the 1955 models. This “Select Aire” option featured an integrated heater core and evaporator coil unit within the dash and cold air discharge vents located on top of the dash on either side of the radio speaker. Also new for 1955 was Ford's first factory installed air conditioner.
1955 FORD ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER LOCATION DRIVER
This gives the driver more panoramic visibility.įor the first time, Ford offered seat belts as a dealer option (not factory installed, with instructions provided by a Service Bulletin). With this panoramic windshield the A-pillars have a vertical angle. The Fords introduced for 1955 also featured the panoramic windshields found on Oldsmobiles, Buicks and Cadillacs the previous year. Also, Fords had a new frame, but still with five cross members. New brakes were used 11-inch (280 mm) drums. The Fairlane Crown Victoria was also offered with a transparent "skylighted" top. The company now marketed three different rooflines on its two-door models the tall two-pillar Mainline, Customline, and Fairlane sedans, pillarless hardtop Fairlane Victoria and the chrome-pillar Fairlane Crown Victoria. This use of a styling feature to visually separate the front of the passenger compartment from the rear reappeared on the 1977-1979 Ford Thunderbird, the Ford LTD Crown Victoria, the Ford Fairmont Futura and Mercury Zephyr Z-7 coupes. The Mileage Maker I6 was bumped up to 223 CID (3.7 L) for 120 hp (89 kW) and the new-for-1954 Y-block V8 was now offered in two sizes: Standard Fords used a 272 CID (4.5 L) version with 162 hp (121 kW) with 2-barrel carburetor and single exhaust or 182 hp with 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust, but the large 292 CID (4.8 L) unit from the Thunderbird was also offered, boasting 193 hp (144 kW).Īpart from the engine changes, customers were sure to notice the new Fairlane, which replaced the Crestline as the top trim level, while a new Crown Victoria-style featured a chrome "basket handle" across the familiar (and continued) " Victoria" hardtop roof, which originally appeared on the Mercury XM-800 concept car. The American Ford line of cars gained a new body for 1955 to keep up with surging Chevrolet and Plymouth (automobile), although it remained similar to the 1952 Ford underneath. The 1955 Ford is an automobile which was produced by Ford in the United States for the 1955 model year and, in revised form, for the 1956 model year. The Missing Paper Boys
On Sunday, September 5, 1982, in the suburb of West Des Moines, Johnny Gosch left home before dawn to begin his paper route. Although it was customary for Johnny to awaken his father to help with the route, the boy took only the family's miniature dachshund, Gretchen, with him that morning. Other paper carriers for The Des Moines Register would later report having seen Gosch at the paper drop, picking up his newspapers. It was the last sighting of Gosch that can be corroborated by multiple witnesses.
A neighbor named Mike reported that he observed Gosch talking to a stocky man in a blue two-toned Ford Fairmont with Nebraska plates; Mike did not know what was discussed because he was observing from his bedroom window. As Gosch headed home, Mike noticed another man following Gosch. Another witness, John Rossi, saw a man in a blue car talking to Gosch and "thought something was strange". He looked at the license plate, but could not recall the plate number. He said, "I keep hoping I'll wake up in the middle of the night and see that number on the license plate as distinctly as night and day, but that hasn't happened." Rossi underwent hypnosis and told police some of the numbers and that the plate was from Warren County, Iowa
John and Noreen Gosch, Johnny's parents, began receiving phone calls from customers along their son's route, complaining of undelivered papers. John performed a cursory search of the neighbourhood around 6 a.m. He immediately found Johnny's wagon full of newspapers two blocks from their home. The Gosches immediately contacted the West Des Moines police department, and reported Johnny's disappearance. Noreen, in her public statements and her book Why Johnny Can't Come Home, has been critical of what she perceives as a slow reaction time from authorities, and of the policy at the time that Gosch could not be classified as a missing person until 72 hours had passed. By her estimation, the police did not arrive to take her report for a full 45 minutes.
Initially, the police came to believe that Gosch was a runaway, but later they changed their statement and suggested that Gosch was kidnapped, but they were unable to establish a viable motive. They turned up little evidence and arrested no suspects in connection with the case.
A few months after his September 1982 disappearance, Noreen Gosch has said her son was spotted in Oklahoma, when a boy yelled to a woman for help before being dragged off by two men.
In 1984, Gosch's photograph appeared alongside that of Juanita Rafaela Estevez on milk cartons across America; they were the second and third abducted children to have their plights publicized in this way. The first was Etan Patz.
Another missing paperboy
On August 12, 1984, Eugene Martin, another Des Moines-area paperboy, disappeared under similar circumstances. He disappeared while delivering newspapers on the south side of Des Moines.
Authorities were unable to prove a connection between the three cases, yet Noreen Gosch claims that she was personally informed of the abduction a few months in advance by a private investigator who was searching for her son. She was told the kidnapping "would take place the second weekend in August 1984 and it would be a paperboy from the southside of Des Moines

Tour the mountains by rail in the 1956 Pontiac Fairmont Hy-Rail #18 replica – Thomas A. DeMauro @Hemmings
Though we aspire to make lasting memories with our own vintage cars, we don’t always require them to embark on awe-inspiring journeys. One such opportunity is offered by the Nevada Northern Railway Museum in the town of Ely. It has recreated the Fairmont A34 Hy-Rail Inspection Motor Car Pontiac station wagon that the railway had ordered new in 1956, and you can ride the rails in it when visiting…

In 1982 Johnny Gosch was 12 years old.
He was making his usual rounds as the local paper boy in Des Moines, Iowa when on the morning of September 5th he disappeared.
Once his parents (John and Noreen) started getting calls from customers about not receiving their papers, they set off looking for Johnny. John found Johnny's wagon full of papers about two blocks from their home.
They immediately contacted police to report him missing. However at the time, a person couldn't be classified as missing until after 72 hours.
Johnny was seen with his miniature dachshund at the paper drop by other Des Moines Register delivery persons around 6am.
He was also seen by a neighbor talking to a man in a blue Ford Fairmont with a Nebraska licence plate.
John Rossi, another neighbor, saw Gosch speaking with the man in the blue car. He commented he "thought something was strange" After undergoing hypnosis later Rossi was able to recall a few of the letters from the license plate which belonged to a vehicle in Warren County, Iowa.
At the start it was suggested Johnny was a runaway, which his parents adamantly denied. Over the next months those statements were changed to suspect Johnny was kidnapped.
Through the years there have been many claims of sightings of Johnny Gosch. Noreen Gosch reports in 1997 Johnny, now 27, was accompanied by an unidentifed man and knocked on her door. The three of them talked for several hours, though Noreen couldn't get any kind of information out of Johnny.
After the encounter Noreen contacted the FBI to make a sketch of Johnny who now had medium length dyed black hair.
In 2006 Noreen Gosch received a package on her doorstep full of photos. The photos showed different boys bound and gagged, a man possibly dead, and one of Johnny who was also bound and gagged with a brand of some sort burned on to his shoulder. It was later found that these photos were sent to her in some sort of prank. The photos originated years earlier from the boys in them who were trying an escape challenge. There was no crime involved.
Noreen Gosch has always stood firm in her belief that Johnny was kidnapped as a part of a pedophile ring. She has testifed in Senate hearings involving "organized paedophilia" and went before the U.S. Department of Justice resulting in the funding to be given to start the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Johnny Gosch remains a missing person.
