I put many hours into this oil painting. I learned to use this medium a few months ago and fell in love with using color and light in this way. Of course, I have much more mobility with paint than with colored pencils. I'm honored to participate in my first Art Fest on Fairy ABC.

Cringetober Day 19 - Dolls/Puppets/etc.

Hi sorry I completely forgot about cringetober for a week. I don't have anything for objecthead or fake anime screenshot, and I never got around to redrawing some art. Also I'm skipping Hananaki Disease, because I didn't know what that was til I looked it up a week ago.

With that being said, here's a Spectra doll I made clothes for last year. Which-- you know what, doesn't even count. This isn't cringe. This is cool. What else do I have?

So I found out that there's a remake of Pixie Hollow Online.

And of course the first thing I did was make my character look like ♥♥♥Leo♥♥♥

FairyABC (Pixie Hollow Rewritten) Clothes Design 2017.

So some kids decided to rewrite the game Pixie Hollow.

The community on here is growing and the devs decided to make it more unique by adding meadows, wings and hair not included on the OG game and fan designs!

These are all designs that I have created for the rewritten game. The bottom two are now accessible as clothes and the large one is still under moderation since I finished it just now.

FairyABC is a fan-made revival of Disney's virtual online world, Pixie Hollow. It was created publicly using downloads and information available to the general public. It also has a forum feature that was not part of the original Pixie Hollow, allowing users to post and create their own profiles. It currently has over 58,000 users. We The Pixies is a rewrite-in-progress of Pixie Hollow Online (aka Pixie Hollow), Disney’s classic MMORPG that ran from 2008 to 2013. Our demo currently includes a faithful recreation of the original Create A Fairy, a clothing store, and the Bubble Bounce talent game, as well as Dewdrop Vale and even basic fairy homes and decorating!

Since I’ve been drawing portraits of my friends, I finally got around to drawing myself! It is me, Jimin the sparrowman. Always draw while looking at references, everybody! By far, this has been the easiest one. Well, I’ve had a lot of practice.

Our collection of games like Pixie Hollow offers other online virtual places where you can socialise with others, customise a character and play games. Aimed at young girls Pixie Hollow offered a 2D browser based experience that allowed players to create their own unique fairy and explore the game.

Fly with you, pixie pals! Have you already heard about the Pixie Hollow Online remake, We the Pixies? Perhaps from Marigold or Phoebe? Well, I’ve just read some exciting news! There’s a live demo up now where you can create a fairy and fly around Dewdrop Vale, shop at Brook’s Basics, and play Bubble Bounce! Here are a few gifs I made. Pixie Hollow Online Game 2019 Err, wellit used to be, anyway. As it happens, Disney shut down the Pixie Hollow online world in September 2013, just two months after I raved about the Disney Fairies Fashion Boutique app (which I came THISCLOSE to spending real $$$ playing).

Pixie Hollow was a massive multiplayer online role-playing game addition to the Disney Fairies franchise that ran from 2008 to 2013. It was produced by DisneyToon Studios and developed by Schell Games. The game was released to coincide with the 2008 film, Tinker Bell and revolved around Tinker Bell, a fairy character created by J. M. Barrie in his play Peter Pan and incorporating her fairy friends from the Disney Fairies animated works by the Walt Disney Company.

GameZone gave the game 6/10.(3) The game received the Parents' Choice Award, Silver Honor.(4) The game also received the Parents' Choice Approved award.(5)

A 2008 article from the magazine Variety about the site voiced concerns from parents that introducing children to online games at a young age may could 'one day make them a “World of Warcraft” addict.'(6) A New York Times article from 2007 voiced much of the same in its discussion about young children on the Internet,(7) and gave a short description of Pixie Hollow: 'The site will ultimately allow users to play games (“help create the seasons”) and interact with other “fairies.” When avatars move across the screen, they leave a sparkling trail of pixie dust, a carefully designed part of the experience.'

Pixie Hollow closed on September 19, 2013.(8) Its closure was poorly received by users, especially bloggers in the community, many of whom created petitions to 'save Pixie Hollow'.(9) Such efforts seem to have been in vain; the game closed as planned and has not reopened.

Rewrite and Revival(edit)

Fans remained active on blog sites such as WordPress, and have been able to form communities dedicated to memorializing the game. One such fan community, FairyABC, has created a 'rewrite' of the game, as of 2016. Users there can join a virtual world similar to Pixie Hollow, but without many features of the original games.

Of course, the traditional way of selecting an executable also works. This approach avoids popups, but still keeps the firewall very easy to use. Most importantly, with the no-popup approach, the user will only notice that a program has been denied internet access when he can't use it any more. View little snitch capture log.

Do we change? To what? When? What will we be rated? We'd like to announce that we know the answers to those questions now. Wednesday October 16th the ToontownCentral.com site will be taken offline. Don't panic! We will reopen Friday October 18th as MMOCentralForums.com. The current URL will continue to redirect for some time. We'll warn you before it stops. Additionally, MMOCentralForums.com will condense most of our current sites into one. All DisneysOnlineWorlds sites except PixieHollowForums.com will be archived. MMOCentralForums? What will that do?

MMOCentralForums won't be built around a single game. We will be offering forums for a wide variety of games along with the off topic and creative areas our members enjoy. I have an account on fairyabc! Pretty amazing what they’re doing.

Are you able to find any Pixie Hollow games?

Sorry, but we can’t find them on archive.org as it doesn’t keep games from MMORPGs. 

The only Pixie Hollow game that was released on the Disney website is Harvest Hustle, which you can play here.

The good news is, there’s this Facebook page called We The Pixies that are working on remaking Pixie Hollow, with its games and all. You can find their page here. They have also released a teaser for Bubble Bounce! 

Fairyabc has also remade a much simpler version of Pixie Hollow, though it doesn’t have the mini games.

Does Pixie Hollow still exist?

the original site doesn’t, but luckily there’s a remake!

on fairyabc you can link an account to an email; it’s an incredible remake! unfortunately there’s no games and I don’t know if there are plans to add/program them in but the forums there are very active so I wouldn’t be surprised if the remake is still in progress. the clothing selection, dye selection, and house decoration is all there, though, and everything is free thanks to the talented fairy folk over there :)
