I was going to drop number 19 for the writer ask because it was like a self-eating snake of a question, but instead I’ll ask what’s the dealio with the dolphin propaganda 🤨 you haven’t been swayed to the dark side have you?
Hashtag fake fish.
I saw my reblog as a tactical decision. If people need to believe in this fake fish and its reappearance in a once heavily polluted urban area in order to care about the realms of marine life that actually exists, maybe we have to be willing to lose this battle in order to win the war. Exposing the lie can come later.
(I also did answer that ouroboric question elsewhere, but I'm glad you asked because I'd never considered before whether "ouroboric" was a word that exists, and my life is better now I know it does.)

Barotrauma Feature Trailer
youtube
Barotrauma is a co-op sci-fi-inspired 2D submarine sim. Which also offers survival horror elements that will keep even the most experienced of captains on the edge of their seats. The game takes place in the frozen oceans of Jupiter’s moon Europa. Which will have players exploring the hostile depths of the mysterious Galilean Satellite. All while working and repairing a multi-station submarine. Fending off the many creatures living in the dangerous waters around you. Man a wide range of submarines and deploy solo or with crews of up to 16 players online! Hoist the Sails will be the final major content update ahead of the game’s full release in early 2023. It comes with a wide array of additions and changes. Including performance upgrades and an entirely new transport sub. The removal of the Deep Diver class, re-worked upgrade systems, and the addition of submarine tiers. There are new and better categorization for weapons. Also a ton of quality of life upgrades.
Full Hoist the Sails update breakdown:
New vanilla sub dubbed, The Camel: An early-game transport submarine.
Sleeker submarine upgrades system: fewer upgrades for greater gain at a time. Welcoming some class-specific upgrades to make the submarine classes stand out better.
No more Deep Diver: This class offers little advantage. Due to being able to take you through the last levels of a campaign. Deciding to remove it altogether. Deep Divers become Scouts in Hoist the Sails. You will be able to finish the campaign on any ship that you have upgraded enough.
A new submarine tier system: Besides being of a specific class, subs will now be ranking in tiers (I–III) depending on how advanced they are. Tier is assigned based on a submarine’s price and can be adjusted in the Sub Editor. Tier and class together determine the maximum limit for upgrades for a sub. Also making it more easier to buy new subs as well as upgrade existing ones.
New and bigger guns!
Tutorials Reworked: Hoist the Sails has a new set of tutorials coming to the game. All in an effort to make onboarding a little easier for new players. First off, players will be greeted by a basic tutorial to bring in general mechanics. Useful for all player roles. After that, the player will be free to access more role specific tutorials.
Performance and quality of life updates!
Barotrauma is currently available through Steam Early Access. Priced at $7.49 USD/ £5.37 / 6,24€. Regular price on Humble Store. Due to release its 1.0 version early in 2023. Along with support for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. The Hoist the Sails update, along with the free weekend. The special weekend deal are live right now.

We haven't been able to figure it out yet.
Barotrauma forum full#
We're probably going to take a full arsenal of weapons with us next time, but I'd love to hear from some more experienced players on what to do. Stay alert: danger in Barotrauma doesn’t announce itself.HELP YOUR CREW SUCCEED, OR MAKE SURE NO ONE DOESThere are as many ways to enjoy Barotrauma as there are ways to die in it. Travel through a punishing underwater world and discover what lies in the depths of Europa. The divers dropped their harpoon gun on the first mission, so that was not an option for us. With its irradiated icy surface, life can only be found in the ocean below. One diver reported sounds like two pieces of metal clanging together when he shot his SMG, but nothing seemed to happen.Īre there any weapons that work on the brain? We tried the SMG, shotgun and the knives (not sure about the last one). Most of our team are on holidays until the end of July, but we will get back to reading the forums in earnest in August. The point is: with the weapons my divers had, they simply couldn't make a dent in it. They flat out say if you’re fishing walleyes, perch or bass in water deeper than 25-30 feet, pla. I’m glad to see the information getting more popular. I scoured the wiki, reddit, this steam forum and the barotrauma forum on their host site, but couldn't find a more detailed description than "kill the brain". This week’s issue of Outdoor News has a short but direct piece on barotrauma studies done in North Dakota. The mission itself is not the problem here, but we found a Thalamus inhabiting the ship, but for some reason we could not damage it. We found the wreckage quickly enough, and after after some trial and error got into the wreckage to find the Captain's log. A place to discuss anything related to Barotrauma that doesn't fit into the other specific sections. I started playing the game with a couple of friends tonight, and as our second mission we decided on "Salvage a Wreck". Stay alert: danger in Barotrauma doesnt announce itself.HELP YOUR CREW SUCCEED, OR MAKE SURE NO ONE DOESThere are as many ways to enjoy Barotrauma as there.

Subnautica Fakefish - Enthraller Leviathan
The Enthraller leviathan's origins are unclear, but they seem directly genetically linked to the Mesmer, both sharing similar physical attributes and behaviors. The Enthraller does seem to manipulate a wide area in its environment, sending visual, auditive and biological signals to entice food Some reports say they even sometime generate artificial signals (as HUD markers or radio transmissions) to lure innocE̷̗̰̰̋̈́̓̔̏́̃̏̕̕R̵̡͇̗͎̼̯͚̙̩̒̅̍͌͒R̷̨͙͓̥͂̃̇̒͜Ơ̷̰̮͇̖͙̑̀̈́̄̓͆̈̋̍R̸̢̡̛̲͓͓͈̜̥͕̉̏̏̑͠ ̷̥̺̱̼̖̲̅̑̿̽̾̽͝4̸̛͍͐̄̎̔̊̏͘ͅ0̸͍̫̗̤̿͒̓̊̃͝2̴̝̖̘͍͗͊̄̾̽͝ Please, come sคvє me, I need your hєlp. Barotrauma Overview Trailer | 1.0 (before Blood in the Water)
youtube
You'll find seven new wrecks to explore, and now, dialogues and chat messages appear in speech bubbles over characters' heads. Don't worry, if you find this distracting, you can turn it off in the settings. The Blood in the Water update also improved how things look when your submarine hits a wall or when you're cutting through barriers. While adjusting how characters move based on their conditions. If they’re feeling tipsy or super energetic. Here’s a change many of you will appreciate: no more random quality in stackable items you create. Due to make your crafting experience smoother since everything stacks neatly.
More details for the update:
Fire no longer damages certain items slowly over time. Now in Blood in the Water, things like husk eggs are completely immune to fire.
Improved visuals for lava and hydrothermal vents and made some updates to the creatures you'll encounter. For example, watch out for the Viperling, a venomous critter, and the re-introduced Mantis—keep an eye on the walls in caves!
For those who dive a lot, Blood in the Water also big changes to diving suits. They now match the crush depths of upgraded submarines. While adjusting their protection level to encourage use only when necessary. Blood in the Water update includes balance changes too. For instance, tuning the turret mechanics and making some adjustments to how injuries affect gameplay. Jump in now and experience the thrill of underwater adventure with a twist of horror and a dash of chaos. It’s a blast to see how you make your mark in the deep sea. Available on Steam, priced at $17.49 USD / £14.99 / 17,49€ with the 50% discount. Regular price on Humble Store. Curious about the details? You can find a full list of updates and additions on the official website.
