Were you named after anyone?: Yess I was named after Burl Ives, but you wouldn't know it because I spell and pronounce my name differently~

When was the last time you cried?: I made the mistake of thinking about The Lion King a few hours ago~

Do you have kids?: I make kids all the time. Like crying over the lion king because I randomly was thinking about how real to life the animation was of Simba pulling on Mufasa's ear and holygodddddd he was trying to wake his dad up whyyyyyyy are animators so supremely great at heartsqueezing~~~ I'm just kidding. That was a kid.

What sports do you play/have you played?: all of them I think~ I live by the fake it until you make it mindset and I'm still figuring out the latter part of that. But I did study pickleball thoroughly under its venerable founder, The Earl of Pickle

Do you use sarcasm?: William Shakesman said that's the lowest form of brevity so I try to avoid it whenever possible, also I'm horrendously bad at it to where I sound completely sincere and this has resulted in one too many punches to the face because, surprisingly if you poorly sarcastically announce you'd really love to be just hit in the face there are a LOT of people who are all too eager to jump in~

What is the first thing you notice about people?: That they're always trying to figure out if I hate them because I had a fairly consistent RBF crossed with an inclination to be mysterious. Through online interactions I first take note of their comma frequency because that says so much about a person's Oxford-related preferences.

What's your eye color?: Blue or green or grey depending which type of light you shove in my face, followed by whatever my eyelid is because moonlight makes me squint

Scary movies or happy endings?: I like the ones where nothing is really resolved and the story just sort of stops because everyone gave up and it was probably lunchtime so f*ck it~

Any talents?: I can do a hair flip like nobody's business, which is to say no one should ever be in the business of doing such hair flips because I've knocked over more cups and hit my head on more things than anyone should do in five lifetimes.

Where were you born?: I'm fairly certain I've always been, because whenever I attempt to find the record of my birth Mr. Tumnus plays an enchanting tune and I wake up in a cold room.

What are your hobbies?: arguing on the Internet and street corners why Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 is better than Brotherhood. I took up the hobby after some guy stole my bicycle which was an outrage, but that was his hobby and he imparted the wisdom which set me on my path which is that a hobby is something that makes you completely miserable and spreads that misery onto anyone unfortunate enough to share your space.

Do you have any pets?: No, no one ever wants to pet me and it's probably because of the below answer

How tall are you?: 6'2

Favorite subject in school?: History. Not so much for the subject matter but because memorizing facts comes obscenely easy to me and I loved writing excessively lengthy essays which went nowhere and were loaded with as many funny words as I could muster like trying to relate an unrelated event to the future of filibustering.

Dream job?: Tending a lighthouse so I could make giant shadowpuppets over the water and make alligator mouths eat the ships.

Hi, @lady-featherquill and @missamyrisa2! I’m honored that two such illustrious writers would think of me.

Were you named after anyone?: Nope! My mom may have gotten the name from a soap opera she was watching, though… but that might just be one of my dad’s lame jokes, lol.

When was the last time you cried?: The ending of Godzilla Minus One. I’m serious.

Do you have kids?: Nada.

What sports do you play/have you played?: I played tennis when I was in junior high and early high school! Was big into it for a while … and then we moved and my new high school didn’t have a team. Had a thriving theatre program, though! I’m ultimately very thankful for that.

Do you use sarcasm?: Me?? Psshhh. Nahhh. 😉

What is the first thing you notice about people?: Tough question. IRL… probably the way they carry themselves? The way they move through space. I also notice how they say things… phrases, reactions. Does that make sense? … Maybe this is too deep. I notice clothing style, too! Not in a critical way, just assessing. As for online, I WILL notice your texting style. Perfect grammar, all lowercase no punctuation, how often you use emojis and how. Just warning y’all.

What's your eye color?: Brown, tending more toward honey/amber than black. (My brother has super dark brown eyes like the latter and I’m only a little envious.)

Scary movies or happy endings?: Happy endings, definitely. I can’t handle scary movies at all, let alone downer endings. … I never did watch that Cyberpunk anime. I should get to that…

Any talents?: Writing. Acting. I’m a fast reader. Projecting my voice. Memorizing lines. ... a lot of these are related to acting, haha.

Where were you born?: Louisiana! And then got moved away before I was even a year old, so I don’t exactly remember it.

What are your hobbies?: Reading, writing, video games, listening to music, TTRPGs (GMing and playing). Typical nerd! I also like walks, casual hikes, and trying new coffeehouses.

Do you have any pets?: Sadly, no… I miss having dogs. And I love cats, but I’m allergic to them… it sucks.

How tall are you?: 5’7”, and a lot more confident about it than I used to be! (I know it’s kind of the stereotypical “bitter guy” height, lol. It’s fine, I probably shouldn’t go into politics anyway. 😆)

Favorite subject in school?: English, hands down. 

Dream job?: I wish I knew. It would be fun to be creative for a living – a writer, or one of those streaming D&D Dungeon Masters – but it might also drain me of the creativity I need for my hobbies. I’d like to do something that actually helps people, charity work or something. I know I sound really driftless for a 30-something… I just care more about my life outside of my job, y'know? And I’d like to get out of finance one day, man.

We're you named after anyone?: yes, my dad has a cousin who lives waaay out in the sticks, I'm not sure why as I've never met them but I'm named after him.

When was the last time you cried?: it's been years... I'll get misty eyed at a lot of corny movies and all that but a real cry was probably a few years ago.

Do you have kids?: nope!

What sports do you play/have you played?: uhhh... I've played tennis and bowling (does bowling count, f it ESPN 8 counts)

Do you use sarcasm?: *looks at the site we're on* that's a trick question right?

What is the first thing you notice about people?: how open they are or are not, wanna tell me the life story? Go ahead! Rather just say today's been okay? That's cool too!

What's your eye color?: it used to he green but I guess they got bluer now

Scary movies or happy endings?: I'm gonna go with happy endings... but only because I like series and movie universes that actually HAVE an ending. Scary movies just... keep... sequelling lol

Any talents?: car singing, procrastination, a natural inclination to sleep days away... I can twirl a stick (don't take that out of context 😉) and can do very quick mental maths (most of the time)

What are your hobbies?: I'm a gamer all the way. YouTube, video games, aforementioned twirling, and DND!

Do you have any pets?: we have turtles! 2 red snappers

Favorite subject in school?: history. I adored learning about the ins and outs of what happened during certain time periods, and debating all the what ifs throughout history. Plus my history teachers were pretty awesome themselves.

Dream job?: ohhh what I wouldn't give to be an author, legitimately the idea that others might be transported to another dimension in their heads based on a story I wrote... I don't know if I'd be famous but if even one person was that pleased I'd be happy

Thank you to everyone who played Featherquill. I'm extremely happy to say our project placed FIRST in the Writing category! I'm in absolute disbelief I managed this for my first successful jam as a director/producer, and I really cannot thank my teammates enough for allowing me to make this project a reality.

I'm not entirely sure where the future of me and these jams rest, since I've learned my anxiety issues kind of get in the way of my ability to manage time sensitive projects, but I hope to be able to least help deliver some great games in the future!
