somehow this got lost in my inbox weeks ago (as has happened with many things!), but i'm so glad i found it today, something positive and hopeful. <3 the math breakdown ($5.5M!) and choices regarding the food banks and how that financial distribution works across the country is very interesting! such a kind-hearted aspect of tour as well.

I’ll be streaming my favorite game turned meme on December 3rd. I’m very excited that I got my Wii working for stream and very nostalgic that this is THE copy I originally played. I wanted to do something special so I decided to make it a charity stream and have selected Feeding America as my organization.  I believe that everyone should have access to warm food, so I hope through this endeavor I can contribute to the cause. Feeding America is a non-profit organization that works with food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other depots and distributors in hunger-relief efforts. 
Additionally, I am pushing for 1K followers so I can get more eyes on charities, projects, and collaborations that I’m working with! If you have the means or energy to help me by following my Twitch channel, it would mean the world to me!  Thank you!

Strengthening "Feeding America's" Social Media Presence for a Greater Impact
Feeding America is the largest hunger-relief organization in the United States, striving to end hunger in communities nationwide. This mission is resonating with me because hunger is a critical issue affecting millions of Americans and a lot of us are unaware of how problematic this issue is, including in our very own communities. Despite "Feeding America" having a strong social media presence, there’s still room for growth when it comes to interaction and engagement online. In this blog, I’ll go over their current social media metrics and also suggest strategies for improvement.
Feeding America is active on several social platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. After reviewing their metrics, here's what I found:
Facebook: With just a little over 600k followers, Feeding America’s posts received an average of about 144 likes in the last month. Also, the number of shares per post averages around 20 in the last month. This shows me that their reach is limiting beyond their primary followers.
Instagram: Feeding America has over 150,000 followers on Instagram, and recently in their last 12 posts, they averaged about 1,600 likes. Despite this, comments are relatively quieter, with most posts receiving less than 50 comments. This is also a signal that while content is seen and liked, they are lacking an equal level of engagement.
To increase these metrics and boost interaction and engagement, Feeding America can apply these following suggestions:
Increase Video Content: Short videos about the impact of donations, behind-the-scenes content, or day-in-the-life footage from food banks can garner more shares and comments. But more than that, they can gather more views and outreach even outside their followers. Videos often gain more activity and engagement then pictures and images does.
Engage with Comments: By actively responding to comments and also asking follow-up questions, Feeding America can develop a sense of community online. This can encourage more followers to post comments and also engage in discussions.
Include More Interactive Content: They could use polls, quizzes, and Instagram Stories with special features, like swipe-ups and Q&As, to activate more participation.
Show Content Created by Users: Showing stories from volunteers or donors can build a more personal connection. It will also increase likes and shares as people become more invested in the cause.
To measure the effectiveness of these strategies, Feeding America should focus on the following metrics:
Facebook
Advanced Metric: Track the percentage of likes, comments, and shares relative to total post reach to see how engaging the content is.
Channel Metric: Track the number of clicks on donation links to assess how well posts drive traffic to donation or volunteer pages. Donation page here.
Behavioral Metric: Analyze how many users watch videos until the end to help understand which content resonates most with the audience.
Instagram
Advanced Metric: Track the rate of how quick the followers grow over time, especially after specific posts and announcements, to see what attracts new followers.
Channel Metric: Instagram Stories offer real-time insights into how many viewers interact with content. This can show what types of content keep followers engaged.
Behavioral Metric: Analyze the ratio of likes, comments, and shares to total followers to understand engagement levels.
By focusing on these strategies and metrics, "Feeding America" can strengthen it's social media presence and impact. It will help the organization reach more people, receive more donations, and ultimately provide more meals to those in need. With a strategic approach to social media, "Feeding America" could its online platform to make a greater difference!

Feeding America is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to give and feed people who do not have any money to buy food so they will not die. Some people are unlucky to not have food in their stomachs which can make them weak and will end up with them dying, but this organization helps to make sure that this is not the case. This organization is special personally to me because I hate to see people with no food suffer and I would do anything to help them out. They use the sites Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube to promote their goals online and encourage people to help. 
This organization currently has 162k followers on Instagram with only 904 following. They have up to 1,348 posts, which is enough to have people come and help them. They have on their website photos of people and videos of people and their logo to spread the word of what they hope to accomplish. On Facebook, they have 643k followers with 771 following which helps boost the number of people posting to ensure their mission is successful. They have on their website the same things such as photos, videos, and reels about how someone can do their part to ensure they achieve their goal. Twitter does the same as well and YouTube posts videos of the same things the organization wants to accomplish. 
How this organization can improve their metrics is that Instagram could post links to the page on their website where people can go to sign up and donate to help those people in need. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube can do the same thing as well as they have the same exact posts and videos up so they also can post links to where people can go to donate and sign up to help them out. The amount of money earned can increase the number of foods being delivered. All 4 websites can help this brand earn more money online and encourage people to make a difference.  
One advanced metric for both Instagram and Facebook can be using their voices which means they can speak out and get people involved in their goals. A channel metric for both can be viewing videos online as they have posted videos of themselves spreading their word of ending hunger in the world. A behavioral metric for both websites is impact actions which means the difference they make can leave a significant impact on the world. 
This organization has a very great goal to accomplish, and I praise them for doing their part in ending starvation across the globe. Starvation is a problem that needs to be addressed more often, and people can do their part by donating to this charity. The more people make a difference, the safer the world can be. That is why Feeding America is an excellent local nonprofit organization who is helping to make a difference in the world.

We donated 22,817 toys, including 205 bikes, 11,000 Squishmallows, 2520 art sets, 1988 music sets, 500 teddy bears, 1000 baby safe stuffies, nerf toys, Barbie’s, games, science sets, puzzles, books, shoes (including Nike Air Max!!), and more!!! We blessed @toysfortotsofficial, @childhelp @comfortcases and @tulsagirlshomeok in the United States! We blessed all the kiddos at @project_orphans Pearl Village in Uganda, and so many incredible kids and teens in Lima, Peru where @aleboggiano is right now with her fashionable boots on the ground ❤️ we are SO grateful for our community!
