Favorite post-canon trope: two (presumably cis) characters of the same gender in a scifi/fantasy setting have a biological child together.

Of course they can do that. Why wouldn't they be able to do that? Why would we even need to explain why they can do that?

Happens both in fanworks and unofficial stuff by the original creators, and I eat it up every time.
