Midoriya's Delusion
This is post that builds upon my previous one, I've copied many of the points I made there to here. Albiet with some corrections and tweaks.
To summarize, I have a bit of a crack theory that chapter 430 isn't as real as we've been led to believe. (As for when this actually takes place, that's up to you but I like to imagine the start of his third year marks the beginning of his mental decline.)
(As an update, I find it dubious whether 8 years have actually passed or if that's also a part of the fantasy. I can see Midoriya becoming so attached to the lie that his reference of time begins to warp)
This theory mostly comes from some inconsistencies in regards to the hero rankings and some other things I've found.
Corrections:
It's left ambiguous whether Best Jeanist and Endeavor are still active. However the fact that people view these two in a postive light (especially after Dabi and the war) still seems absurd.
2. Midoriya wasn't outright abandoned, rather their busy schedules make it hard for their days off to coincide. This falls apart when you look at this panel
Tumblr media
"The rate of new villains keep decreasing and the number of heroes have stabilized"
Besides Ochaco who's funding a quirk counseling project, the rest of the class should be able to make time. Again it's stated that they aren't actually fighting.
There's no real threat to face. Besides PR and Community Service there's bot a whole lot else (besides the occasional natural disaster)
Tumblr media
One could argue it's because the scope of what heroes do is increasing, thus keeping them busy. But again, we see heroes doing exactly what they did before, PR, Advertising and (implied) Showboating.
This leads me to believe that the lack of contact is based in reality, to some extent.
Whether it was by choice or forced by their (1A's) respective PR teams to preserve their images (can't be seen around the "freaks" for too long, now can we?).
The lie comes in the form of busy schedules.
Now whether that's what Midoriya tells himself or what he's been told, I cannot say for certain.
Disturbia:
For those of you who didn't read my last post, you may be wondering, so what's going on?.
Simply put:
Midoriya's having a breakdown fantasy to cope with the fact that he won't be becoming a hero due to the loss of his quirk.
Im aware it sounds crazy but consider the following:
1. Midoriya subconsciously knows the way he's been treated was wrong.
This manifests within the escapists fantasy in Bakugo's drop in the rankings + the attitude surrounding him (as well as his damaged hand never fully healing)
Tumblr media
He meets a kid who just so happens to be in a near exact same position as he once* was (and still is to an extent). One could take this as his mind's way of trying to cope and heal itself, by having Midoriya do what he does best and help others, henceforth working though his trauma by using the kid as a stand in.
Tumblr media
*Even the kid's "bully" seems to be a warped version of Bakugo (perhaps this is how Midoriya tries to fool himself into believing how it was)
Tumblr media
2. We see Kota.
I believe that here, Kota serves as what Midoriya thinks he could have been had he not failed. Kota is the idealized version of Midoriya here, the unobtainable.
Tumblr media
3. A lesson ignored
Apparently people forgot the connection between Endeavor and Shoto. You'd think this would be a good thing as Shoto would be able to become his own person.
This falls flat when you remember that also includes people forgetting the reason and happenings behind Shoto's existence, it feels like Midoriya is trying to have his cake and eat it too
To elaborate, this is a major copout, it allows Shouto to be unaffected by his family's past bith career wise and emotionally. While also feeding into Midoriya's rather toxic belief that forgiveness is required to be a good person.
Tumblr media
(The fact that killing Tomura violated this only adds to my theory that this whole thing is an escapist coping mechanism.)
(You can also add the idea that Tomura didn't forgive society for what they did to him and his friends. That likely broke all the "rules" that Midoriya knew.)
4. The Mech Suit is a massive cope, it's the dying whimper of Midoriya's childish hope that All Might will save the day.
Tumblr media
This time there's no magic quirk, no garrish mech suit, no plot twist.
No. There's only Midoriya and the consequences of his, his classmates and hero societies actions. It doesn't matter how shiny and seamless the illusion, how sweet the lie.
You can't hide the blood.
Concerning Aspects:
That was mostly the revised stuff, let me introduce you to some new points
1. A Frozen Lake
Something I noticed was certain characters seem to be almost frozen in time, as if someone tried to continue a story using scraps of the original text.
The curious case of Rei Himura:
Tumblr media
This scene seems almost stagnant, what was most noticeable was Enji's bandages still being on and Rei still being there.
It's as if Midoriya hasn't seen them in years (or perhaps doesn't want to acknowledge what happened). So his mind uses what he last saw/heard of them, creating a sterile, static scenario. Little better than props.
Those surrounding her (with the exception of Hawks) also seem to be stuck in the past.
It's definitely strange.
2. See No Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak No Evil
Tumblr media
Shigaraki is a representation of Midoriya's repressed guilt and his fears. I believe deep down Midoriya knows that, inevitably the cycle will repeat, so long as the system is allowed fester and wallow in it's complancy.
I find the fact that he's behind Midoriya to be ironic, as if to say: don't look back, don't think about what you've done.
A Symbol of Stagnation:
I should warn you that it does get lengthy from here, however I think it's important to get the full picture. Even if I tend to ramble here.
Tumblr media
It's implied here that Lemillion's the top hero. This is awful for a variety of reasons. Mirio is a horrible symbol.
All Might was flawed for a variety of reasons, but a majority of these were byproducts rather than directly being his own doing.
Mirio on the other hand, has such a cancerous philosophy that it actively harms all who interact with it.
Mirio is a follower, he follows orders first and asks questions never.
Eri is the best example of this. Even after Nighteye's death, Mirio never truly reflects on the damage his actions could have caused ( only saved by the narrative, seriously it's a miracle Eri trusts anyone besides Midoriya after being abandoned like that)
You see, the difference between Toshinori and Mirio lies in their actions and principles.
Mirio left Eri to die, all for the sake of the "mission".
For all the heroes knew, Eri could have been a trafficking victim and either have been killed or relocated. But no, appearances and "gotta catch em all" take priority even after knowing Eri is in the Yakuza's clutches.
Lemillion made the worst decisions possible. He followed a known murder into a secluded, restricted area (with a hostage mind you) bringing his pupil with him.
Willingly ignored blatant signs of abuse (just look at the girl) and played hooky with thre leader of a criminal organization, who is known for his short fuse and willingness to kill.
He did all of that, when he could have easily detained Overhaul at any point (his quirk being a direct counter)
Toroshinori would fight tooth and nail in that situation. Consequences be damned if it meant saving Eri.
Part of the reason Toroshinori was so effective as a hero was 1. His sense of justice and 2. His compassion.
Mirio is a symbol that can be controlled, a weapon if you will.
The fact that Mirio is at the top shows that things haven't changed and are even beginning to decline. So this brings me to my next point
You may be asking, if Midoriya's losing it in his own mind, what's the outside world look really like?.
Allow me to set the stage.
4. Speculation
Within Midoriya's muddled mind, Lemillion represents both his toxic optimism and a subconscious understanding that nothing has changed. It represents denial and acceptance, a dysfunctional middle ground that's easy enough for Midoriya to stomach.
Tumblr media
The truth of the matter is, delusion or not, the reality is soon to sink in.
Something that I don't see discussed is the lack of reactions from other nations or really any insight into how they were affected by everything that happend.
Here's the idea: Most likely they are foaming at the mouth.
Particularly it's the countries who suffered under Imperial Japan in the past (Korea, China, Singapore etc), however this also applies to every nation Nedzu brow beat into aiding with the rebuilding efforts, albiet their reaction would be latent.
Not not only is the attitude painfully reminiscent of how Japan handles it's past atrocities, Japan has had them clean up their messes. seen below:
Tumblr media
(you cannot tell me Big Red Dot over here is having a good time)
From an outside pov. The Commission never told anyone about AFO, rather they suppressed any information, locked him up in Tartarus and then sat on the whole situation until it blew up in their (read: everyones) faces.
He then proceeded to: kill over 8000 people (+ those killed during the Blackout period), kill the top hero of one of the world's most powerful nations and incite mass panic. Destroyed massive amounts of infrastructure and transport nationwide, broke thousands of criminals out of prison, destroying those prisons in the process.
Meanwhile the heroes:
Abandoned civilians in mass by quitting in the middle of a war.
Tumblr media
Left the public in the dark for months and allowing crime and paranoia to grow rampant, even (forcibly) bringing someone they knew was being targeted by AFO and his forces to the one place they could find shelter.
Mutilated a seven year old girl. Who has a history of being mutilated for the gain of others and patted themselves on the back. (Also having no holdup on how that may effect her physically via her quirk or mentally via her trauma)
Mic: tried to kill a docile prisoner who could be considered in comatose, based off of his emotional attachment to a dead man + viewing it as justified if it meant Spinner couldn't get to him.
Used hospital staff and patients as meatshields (Central Hospital) during a riot.
Most had no qualms supporting a child beating eugenicist and implied marital rapist, even with his one of his victims exposed him and citing it as his main reason for turning to villainy.
Held an illegal questioning* with said abuser while ignoring his main victim (Rei, who is probably the most reliable source of information there)
(*which effectively is like conducting an investigation on yourself and declaring you are not guilty)
And so much more! (But this post is getting too long)
My point is by the time everything was said and done, it seemed everyone but Japan was paying for it.
It's outright stated that the US president risked national security by sending every hero they had to help Japan. (Impeachment worthy if you ask me)
Endeavor's little plan to kill himself and Dabi in a blaze of death ended up disrupting the weather. Very likely it'll end up resembling an El Niño phenomenon, only vastly off schedule and even more destructive than normal.
For Reference [https://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/ninonina.html]
Very likely it'll lead to an agricultural drought in the northern America's and mass flooding in southern America's, likely starting at the west coast and bleeding inland. Leading to a domino effect where cost of living surges due to the sudden displacement of people and the rapid loss of products.
Worse still, because the US had no heroes (likely for months on end), crime has likely surged in the America's, which will further impact the rest of the world.
The rebuilding efforts likely emptied the wallets of most participating countries, leaving them unable to help anyone, including themselves.
Also keep in mind that Japan incriminated themselves with the Business Course footage. I don't think the general public (outside of Japan) is going to take too kindly to a known murder and abuse apologist being in charge of a system already known for it's corruption.
The end result is likely be a world that detests Japan, either from a moral perspective (Rei's treatment + the treatment of those society abandoned), a financial perspective (we can't afford shit and you contributed to that) or historical perspective (you do this everytime and ignore the consequences).
A world divided by struggle and united by an immense loathing for the Commission's Japan and the culture surrounding it.
Oh, don't forget there's no finding left for quirk research. Meaning that it's very likely no one will be prepared for quirk singularity to start manifesting in the upcoming generations (Thanks Nedzu).

Update: Can I just say that Aizawa's lack of ownership infuriates me even though this is likely a fantasy and not grounded in reality.
Like what the fuck do you mean "with the way he talks, it was pointless" Fantasy Aizawa.
Because "Hey Asshole", You deliberately ignored his attitude and offenses!. And what? Now your just gonna shrug it off like it wasn't your fault. To hell with that you had two years, most teacher are said to only get one. As you so graciously mentioned at the start of this shit show of an epilouge.
Heres the moment I'm referring to btw:
Tumblr media
While we're at it. Are you telling me it was too hard to get Momo some proper attire all three fucking years she was at UA for.
Not to mention Toru is still naked, how the fuck hasn't she died yet, she is literally exposed to the elements (and lord help her of she gets a cut)
Kirishima's costume is still his biggest liability considering it exposes his chest and back (also seeing as even when hardened he can't repell bullets)
Does Denki still fry himself with his quirk?
Before we move on Aizawa. How's that daughter you neglected, her horn still broken?.
Speaking of which let's look at the rescue team:
Tumblr media
What the hell is this!?
Let's see, we got a guy who can only do damage (and his sweat detonates on contact, destroying whatever it touches.)
A brainwasher who only got into the hero course via nepotism and who can only brainwash people who directly respond to him!. A person trapped underneath rubble either frantic or groaning in pain isn't going to be able to respond or even just give consent.
(On a side note what are the laws regarding mind control quirks, does some sort of waiver have to be signed, can a person sue for being controlled against their consent?)
Oh, but wait there's more.
Midoriya running headlong with experimental tech that has, very likely never seen the light of day. Let alone preform in an actual high stakes situation before.
You're trying to carry someone and oops! Something malfunctioned or was miscalculated, now there's an even bigger mess (hooray!)
Who could forget Mezo "they'll come for your kids" Soji. Who climbed the ladder and pulled it all the way up.
Yeah forget that Heteromorph's were getting hate crimed long before the war, ignore the fact that you yourself were maimed by an angry mob after doing one of the most heroic things a person can do. Dismiss Spinner's comment about being sprayed with Pesticide for walking in public.
Nah screw it, let's all sing Kumbaya while the Creation Rejection Clan runs wild outside the reach of the cities, then ignore that the discrimination still is prevalent in the countryside and it's only a matter of time before somone gets fed up and takes matters into their own hands. (talons, claws, you get the picture)
But your a hero now Soji, you got your's. So fuck the rest of 'em
And don't even get me started on Hawks. Congratulations you ignorant bastard, way to kill time and by that I mean for everyone but the heroes.
"Yeah life is great!, everyone hates us, we're rapidly falling into debt from all that rebuilding 8 years back."
"Speaking of which some of those buildings are staring to fall apart due to being rushed to meet deadlines set within the month they were started."
"Social darwinism is on the rise and people are becoming more complacent that ever before due to heroes applying bandaid solutions on decade long, deeply ingrained problems."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"All so the average person doesn't have to think about what's festering beneath society's floorboards, so thank you Safety Commission. Here's your star of positivity ⭐️." - Some random anti-hero civilian
So much for greatest heroes, huh.

UPDATE 2:
A dark thought I just had, is that the main reason Izuku killed Tomura was because Tomura broke the rule of "Forgiving Your Abusers makes you Good".
When Tomura refused to relinquish his hatred, when he stood his ground, that is when Midoriya decided he had to die. If not to "stop" him, then to preserve Midoriya's perception of the world .
Shigaraki + The LOV by their very ideals went against everything Midoriya has had beat into him by Bakugo and Aldera over the years.
Makes me wonder how'd he react to a person refusing to forgive their abuser. If he interacted with Natsuo or Rei, I could see that delving into a complete mess.
Now that I think about it, The Midoriya we know now, he would have never tried to hold onto Eri back when they first met.
Ironically, he became what he named himself after, a Deku. A puppet attached to thorns of liquid gold, glistening and burning hot.
A slave to his own biases and belief system, now trapped in a stage of his minds own making.
First bound by his past, then by legacy and finally, now by his own hand.

[warning: while f!reader is not described with any specific physical characteristics, the child in this fic is described as having inherited all of Megumi’s attributes and none from reader! please read with that in mind, or pass over this fic if not <3]
"Did you tell her my name?"
Megumi lives in a flat above the clinic, and has since he was 23. The old vet he'd studied under had lived there for years, right around when he was his age, but as he and his wife got older and their family grew, they needed more space than the little two bedroom provided them.
It's the perfect size for Megumi, though. Well-suited in every way to his lifestyle: large enough that he doesn't feel cramped but still small enough that he can easily keep it tidy, and close to work so he can always quickly pop downstairs to check on any animals boarding overnight—though he does still sleep sometimes on that lumpy couch in the staff room if he's just too exhausted after a long day to climb up the stairs.
The apartment has served him well over the past decade, and he's happy with his little home, a perfect space just for him.
Well, him and Yuuji at present.
"That was soooo crazy."
Yuuji has made this remark roughly forty-seven times in the past two hours since the two of them came upstairs following Nanami, Kota, and your departure from the little clinic. He's downed two thirds of the beers he brought with him, though—and a healthy pour of the whiskey Megumi keeps in his cupboard—so that might be as much a cause as any for the repetition.
Megumi sighs, taking another little swig from his own drink.
It's not like he's completely wrong, either.
Megumi is still reeling from the excitement earlier in the evening, and unsettled by feeling that he can't quite seem to shake in the aftermath. He keeps thinking of the little boy who has his eyes, and of the mother who couldn't meet them.
Why does he feel like he should know you? Like he does know you? Or did, maybe, once.
But try as he might he just can't bring back any memories of you, or where the two of you may have once met. Megumi prides himself on his memory, and his ability to remember names and faces, so why is this the moment that it's failing him? Deceiving him into believing something he knows just can't be true?
Is it because he wants to know you? To know Kota?
No. That's ridiculous. He'd felt dread when Kota had first appeared on the clinic doorstep, convinced it was some kind of haunting or a cruel hallucination.
Yuuji couldn't recall with any certainty that he'd told you Megumi's name, but Nanami could have easily mentioned it at the police station or on the drive to the clinic. Hell, you might have seen his name on the wall when you came in. But none of that explains why you behaved so strangely towards him, so evasive in his presence. He was sure that you were tired after the frightening ordeal of losing your son, but it still didn't necessarily make sense why he was the only one whose gaze you had such a hard time meeting.
"What restaurant does she work at?" Megumi suddenly asks Yuuji, and his friend peers at him over the table they're seated at on the floor of his living room.
Yuuji shrugs. "Nanami didn't say, and when I texted him he said that he's not allowed to give out personal info like that."
"But it was nearby, right?" Megumi asks again. "It would have to be if Kota made it here all on his own."
Yuuji shrugs again, watching his friend's face.
"What's up with you?" he asks him bluntly. "You're being weird."
"No I'm not," Megumi argues, his lips pursing.
"Yeah you are," Yuuji counters. "Weirder than normal, anyway."
Megumi shoots him a weak glare, pushing himself up from the table. He's a little unsteady on his feet, and he looks down at the place where he was sitting once he's risen. He had more to drink than he'd planned on, and it's hitting him now that he's upright.
"I'm gonna wash up and go to bed," Megumi mutters.
"Mind if I crash on the couch?" Yuuji asks, as though his friend has ever once denied him. Megumi waves his hand dismissively, shuffling past his friend in the direction of his bedroom.
After getting ready for bed, Megumi finds himself staring up at the ceiling of his bedroom listlessly. In the other room he can hear Yuuji laughing along to some late night variety show, but that's not what's keeping him awake—having long grown used to it. He sighs, squeezing his eyes shut as though he might be able to will sleep to come to him by force.
He can hear the sound of his heartbeat.
Ba-dump.
Yer still a young fella, Megumi, but ya won't be ferever.
Ba-dump.
Gotta start thinkin' about yer future 'ventually.
Ba-dump.
Settlin' down, findin' yourself a pretty girl, babies.
The old man's cheeks were so red that night that Megumi started to genuinely worry for his health. He remembers trying to sneak a glass of water into his hand in place of his sake, but it never quite worked.
"I don't want any babies."
The old man snorted when Megumi said that.
"No bachelor as handsome as you ever wants babies," the old man replied. "But one day yer gonna wake up next to the girl ya love and realize there's somethin' missin'. Then you'll know whatcha want."
Megumi hadn't bothered correcting him, still too busy processing the opportunity—the enormous, terrifying opportunity—that had fallen into his lap that night. Didn't bother telling him that no girl would change the way his brain is wired, or sway his fire-forged conviction.
"Can I get you two anything else to drink?"
"'nother round of sake!" The old man requested jovially. "We're celebratin'!"
"And what exactly as you gentlemen celebrating?"
Megumi looked up from his hands then, towards the server with the smile in her voice.
You.
An apron tied tight around your waist, and a youthful glow in your cheeks. You were probably a few years younger than Megumi, if he was judging right. Maybe 23 to his 28, or somewhere thereabouts.
"Fushiguro-kun here's takin' over the business!" the old man exclaimed, even though nothing of the sort had been agreed upon yet.
You looked over at Megumi, your eyes meeting for the first time, and he watched as your smile grew.
"Well," you said, a cheerful, easy warmth lilting in your voice, "congratulations."
Megumi couldn't bring himself to say anything in reply.
You laughed a little as his eyes skirted away.
"Your next drink's on me, gentlemen."
Megumi sits straight up in his bed, soaked through in a cold sweat. On the other side of the wall, the variety show is still playing, but instead of laughter he hears Yuuji's rumbling snore.
He clutches at his heart, his fingers shaking as he twists them into the sweat-dampened cotton of his t-shirt.
All he can think about when he closes his eyes is the phantom memory of your smile from that night in the early spring five years ago, and how it looks just like Kota's.

MHA CH 421 rambles
Ok so this was a chapter ok. Iam personally not a fan of what happend here but you do you.
I hated AFO's little monologue. introspection thingy and to be honest sukuna does it better. Look Iam critical of both jjk and MHA as they fail in their own aspects on certain things but dam I couldn't care less for AFO and his monologue I seriously couldn't. Yoichi as already dead and if AFO's goal was to be a supervillain from a comic and to reunite with yoichi then why not just idk get the doctor to do it for him or just die to reunite with AFO 🤷‍♀️. His whole thing about tragedy making people stronger or him not feeling anything didn't even hit well because his development sucks and him coming back feels repetitive anyway
Tumblr media
Sero getting to respond to the things about tragedy felt so underwhelming I didn't like it. Sero throughout the whole and entire series lacked any screentime and development for him to be getting a big moment that should be given to another character feels like a horrible move. We seriously don't know of anything that has affected sero aka hurt him directly in the manga (aka something just him) so it all feels underwhelming and disappointing. Unironically, I feel like sero should of been one of those characters who left the story or just stayed as a minor character because hori is trying to develop and give him importance way too late into the story.
Tumblr media
Where is inko?!?!?! So we see everyone heck we see the civilians, gran Torino, Kota and Eri all comment and hope for izuku to do something but inko his own mother isn't present. Now this probably means something bad is happening or will happen to inko but if nothing happens and she isn't present then dam classic neglectful inko strikes again ig or if they make it a gag that she fainted out of stress i will just hate it even more
Tumblr media
I hate that this is something out of the endgame and if hori was trying to be like gege by making everyone join it felt rubbish. Iam not a fan and I mean it I HATE the whole everyone joining in to fight AFO together type thing and I just do. To me it's Izuku's time to shine and people take down villains and do their jobs in other areas at this point everyone is doing more damage to AFO than Izuku who hasn't even landed a hit on izuku. Also why is it that character like Todorokis who have had their big moments here?!?!? It seems like this is a fight where hori is trying to make everyone have a moment before Izuku lands the final hit which doesn't sit right with me. Like there are characters here who have already had their moments like jirou, camie, yuuga, asui, mina and way more but they're here to ... Assist in the fight have another big moment and make AFO more of a potato character then a proper scary villain
Tumblr media
present mic is back which I love. One of the good things is that present mic is alive, it's good to have confirmation of that
Tumblr media
Even though I think erasers writing is heavily flawed at least someone is holding Izuku. At least izuku is getting something , some comfort out here at least someone is holding him but dam this seems like a disservice all of this seems like a disservice to izuku. Like I wonder do the civilians feel guilty does anyone feel sad or guilty for having this 16 year old child fight something way bigger than him in the name of peace and other peoples safety?
Tumblr media
I think the whole thing with Izuku getting that guy's shirt is rubbish and underwhelming. It just doesn't sit right with me, that guy's shirt would of probably been dirty as hell considering it's the only thing we have seen him wearing. Like @mikeellee told me it would of been more impactful if the shirt was given to izuku and that guy had a healing quirk or helped izuku more directly. Now I get that this is supposed to make the guy more likable and show that he ahs developed which we can see and dam hori can actually give some decent development when he wants to but it all falls flat and doesn't do much for me. Also I have seen someone say that izuku wearing this shirt and it covering his upper half is showing how he is losing his ability to be a hero and dam that breaks me.
Tumblr media
I can't with the Izuku running to the battlefield and the parallels kill me (we haven't really developed/moved on from chapter one considering the story just loops around itself). Izuku running towards danger quirkless thinking that it's his job because people who were supposed to help and protect him failed. Izuku now quirkless with only the tiny and fading embers of OFA thinning trying to defeat OFA with the damage of kudos quirk still effecting him. All of this to protect others to help them something he never got during the past. This fight will probably parallel all might but all of this happening and I feel nothing all of it falls flat and I feel bad for izuku that's it.
Tumblr media
It was a chapter and considering how I hated previous writing decisions I was also gonna hate on the developed/expanded writing decisions either way

PT. 2 OF WEIRDLY SPECIFIC PRIME DEFENDERS HEADCANONS I HAVE!!! ENJOY!!!!!
-William trans guy real!!!
He went on T during the timeskip after season one and totally forgot to tell Dakota about it when he came back. Then, upon realizing kota didn’t know, he tried to gaslight him into believing he always had a deep voice before eventually telling him
Dakota also just like,,, refuses to believe pre-transition William is the same person. Will showed him a picture of him when he was little one time and Dakota just said nuh uh that’s not you repeatedly (this one I’m absolutely projecting my friends do this to me all the time)
-Fuck it enby Vyncent canon too
Maybe gender works a little different in Vyncent’s world so there isn’t really a binary established like in prime. So he like,,, wouldn’t really be considered trans in his homeworld but is considered trans in prime. It’s all very confusing and dudes a superhero so he has bigger things to worry about. Bro is not about to unpack all that
-The gang all cuddle pile for sure. William always in the middle cause he’s cold. Dakota just kind of lays out flat and expects someone to crush him. Ashe isn’t really a fan of it but he’s joined in a couple times. They did it once while Mark was around and he was,, Deeply confused
-Dakota is flexible in an athlete way. William is flexible in a hypermobile way. Vyncent can’t even touch his toes
-Ashe maladaptive daydreamer real not fake they literally stay in the house all day listening to music what else is she gonna do?? NOT daydream uncontrollably???? I’m not fucking projecting shut up shut up shut up
-I could see Vyncent liking boxing
Dakota considered getting into it with him until he realized it’s all arms
-Ashe can’t swim
-Vyncent is pretty boring style-wise but all the other boys are some genre of alt and sometimes they just randomly force him to have drip
-William chronic pain truther also he floats a lot instead of walking cause it’s not as hard on his legs, probably used some genre of mobility aids during his powerless arc but I’m not smart enough to know which ones
-William definitely did all his piercings himself (maybe except the industrial I give him I literally don’t know how he’d do that one) and all of them are fucking crooked and wrong somehow. His gauges are also probably fucked up and blown out. His septum isn’t even close to the right spot but somehow healed anyway.
He probably pierced Vyncent’s ears for him too because imagine going into a tattoo parlor with those fucking ears dude. Big ass motherfuckers. Also Vyncent probably has so many fucking ear piercings he has so much room he’s gotta dude
-I think Vyncent would use origami’s powers to just,,,,, literally make origami. He’s made so many pretty little things out of paper I’m sure of it
-I need one of the prime defenders to be into photography. Idk which one it suits but I just,,,, I need it. I want to give it to Dakota because I don’t really have any hcs with him and artsy hobbies but also William would so be the type to infodump endlessly about vintage cameras
I’d like to imagine one of the boys has a Polaroid of the whole gang and Ashe in their phone case (if they even have phone cases??? I know everything’s like high tech futuristic but let me live)

The Curious Case of Moonfish
When it comes to League of Villains, for the most part you could say that the group was 'usually' handled decently. Sure, not everyone got their due time to super shine, but they at least had a moment to leave a good impact on the story...
All except for, debatably one:
Tumblr media
Here's Moonfish - arguably the most 'irrevelent' Villain of the League.
Hold it!
Now when I say that, I mean in a 'least impact' sort of way. Even Moonfish still had his due...kind of. He was the one that allowed us to see Dark Shadow when on a rampage. He got us to learn more of Shoji's quirk mechanics. More lore on how the law system works in MHA - namely death row does exist. So he does have some purpose.
But, the issue lies in if It's truly enough?
Think about the two other members of the defeated 3M trio and their impact on the story.
Muscular is connected to Kota because he orphaned the kid and his defeat signalled the fact that there are people out there that will be his Hero. Muscular, even in defeat, beat Deku to the point that not only could he not help save Bakugo, he had to change up his fighting style to be more leg based. He has a long lasting impact on the trajectory of the manga, and what doors could be opened by Deku now. He was also used to show that, yes, while a good chunkf of Villains are redeemable - Goto is not one of them. (Well, one can argue Deku didn't quite try, but that's another debate down the road).
Mustard also had significant purpose to. His fight showed that, even if it wasn't often, Class B's members would have significant time devoted to them and hold key roles in the plot. He also held a very major role of knocking out the majority of Class B and ensuring the Villains would have reduced numbers to fight overall, alongside his gas being the narratives way of preventing the Villains exit from being readily discovered. So while not on the same scale as Muscular, he's a vital part of the Forest Invasion.
Moonfish...um...he's...not quite the same level as the other two. Sure, we got to know more on Shoji's quirk, but, well, that doesn't really require Moonfish to be the only one to get that info (heck, you could even have Toga be the one to steathily slice Shoji's arms to get his blood to get the same effect).
While Moonfish allowed us to know death row exists, again, it doesn't mean he specifically needed to exist to provide that info either, especially with some focus on Tartarus coming up past Kamino.
But what of his contributions to the Forest arc. Which that is to say...um. Well, Moonfish probably contributed the least to the Vanguard's operations. Even Muscular, who got beat first, went down gravely wounding someone on their kill list. But Moonfish's track record well...
He cut off Shoji's arm...but he could regenerate it so it didn't matter.
He caused Dark Shadow to go berserk, but it only served to get himself taken down next...and again, Moonfish himself didn't need to be the one to cause Dark Shadow to go AWOL in the first place.
He fought Bakugo and Todoroki - but not only stalemated and couldn't really harm them, he was trying to eat Bakugo...you know. The person he was tasked to capture XD Something that would have outright ruined their mission since it was not on the game plan.
It also doesn't help that Moonfish's personality is...really flat as well. He's dedicated to his job, sure, but its constantly overshadowed by his love of flesh and insane nature. He's not a smug loudmouth jerk like Muscular who you just wanna see punched or someone that brings up intrigue like Mustard with his resentment of those with 'one note' Quirks. He's a crazy guy, but its not an interesting crazy that keeps you hooked beyond thinking 'ooh, this guys creepy' for a moment before moving on. As such, it's hard to see Moonfish as human like rest and not unlike a Nomu, which makes it harder for people to really get invested.
So you can see the issue here, Moonfish's contributions either didn't quite need him to really succeed or gain knowledge from, were undermined by the story itself, or were just a detriment to his team overall. He lacks the connection to past characters to really get people to root for his defeat, and he lacks being the opportunity for underused cast to get their time in the sun. He also just doesn't have the personality needed to really get people to think of him beyond just being the brief crazy guy for the League either.
Tumblr media
It's a recipe for being the odd one out in a trio that's already underused in the story.
And believe me does his role in the Second War not do him any favors.
Muscular at least had a spotlight as being the one to break other people out of jail and, even if flawed, showed that some Villains don't want to be redeemed or find peace - they just want chaos.
But Moonfish?
Tumblr media
All he got was a brief cameo as apart of the Okuto Island Villains, not even mentioned as a League member but 'Jailbreaker'. The disrespect XD! He's been demoted!!! The indignity!!! But, yeah, aside from this cameo in his new spiffy outfit, the story does nothing with him.
He doesn't really reunite or talk with the League of Villains that remain. He doesn't spout anything new or anything that recontexualizes what he already know. He doesn't even get his real name revealed like Goto. He doesn't go down meaningfully, isn't even acknowledged by Toga or Kurogiri. He just...kinda exists? And that's kinda the weird thing about Moonfish that sums him up in story:
He's a Villain that's creepy and kinda exists...that's it. His allies don't care about him (heck Compress REALLY does not give a fuck about him since he left him behind), the Heroes think he's troublesome but not on the same level as the High Ends or Toga, ooc he's not really someone that is given the same level of importance, he's just...kinda the filler villain meant to pad out the story? It's sad but sums him up pretty well.
...And it also doesn't help that in the Yakuza Arc, Horikoshi went about making two characters to 'replace' Moonfish in both Quirk and attitude, respectively XD
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Blade Villain's power under Trigger is essentially a better version of Moonfish attached to a person with a more sympathetic figure (even if he's kind of a dick still XD).
As for the raving lunatic with hunger issues that's also an experience powerhouse, Tabe's also more interesting and likable than Moonfish in that department. He's notable a social outcast due to his Quirk to the point that he legit doesn't care if he dies it it means he can help the one person who accepted him, and has made friends with the Trash Trio to the point that, even in his hungry state, he doesn't want to eat them. Which nets him far better than Moon being showing as uncaring to eating both Villains or Heroes alike.
So ontop of not really being liked or respected in and out of story, the narrative promptly had him replaced twice with one-shot characters who are essentially more positive takes on his power and archetype...
Yeaaaah, its hard being Moonfish. Honestly, had Horikoshi gave him Tabe's whole tribulations, where his Quirk affects him on a dietary, level he could have been received well more...but that also likely steps on Toga's arc. I did suggest back during my League Nemesis post for Moonfish that he could have been abused by his community, likely a cult in this case, to the point it warped his diet and sanity that eating 'meat'/people was his only way out and enhance his love for his job a bit more. It would give him something to stand out on his own two feet instead of just being 'the crazy one'.
But, as of now, Moonfish is pretty much stuck with the most 'irrelevent' League member for a reason

What kind of woman the Uchiwas brothers like (example: long hair, small size, strong?)
I think for all of them, given their time and position (sons of the head of the clan), strength and sharpness would be of the greatest value/highest appeal to them.
They wouldn’t have someone who can’t even defend themselves a little bit or some foolish person that doesn’t stay alert as a spouse.
Appearance is secondary
Madara - Doesn’t matter if they’re tall or short, but he definitely likes a nice figure.
Inari - he thinks chubbier women are so cute he would mindlessly touch his girls belly like it’s his if she has one 😭. Plus they’re so soft! But he’s really attracted to good girls. if she’s a good girl but skinny, buff, fat, or average; he’s perfectly content with that.
Kota - taller women. Out of all of them, he’s the one most likely to turn someone down based on height alone 💀 he also likes wavy-curly hair and gentle eyes.
Tenko - his ideal woman can crush a melon with her thighs, has a bitable butt, does pretty hair styles, nice lips, sharp eyes, and wide set hips (plus points for hip dips).
Izuna - petite and pretty. Can’t have a ridiculous amount of hair nor too short of hair. Nice toned legs are preferable. Not overly busty or flat as a board.

A Thought, A Theory
I'll probably make a more indepth post or may just update this one once the offical translations get dumped (which means pictures!), but I have a bit of a crack theory that chapter 430 isn't as real as we've been led to believe.
(As for when this actually takes place, that's up to you but I like to imagine the start of his third year marks the beginning of his mental decline)
This mostly comes from some inconsistencies in regards to the hero rankings and some other stuff
Its stated that Best Jeanist and Endeavor are still active. With the exception of Jeanist, this should not be possible for obvious reasons.
2. Something feels off visually and narrative-wise, I don't know how to describe this other than everything looks too ideallic. Like it feels too sanitized and sterile, this probably because Hori ripped the last bits of life this story had away. But hush. Also Aoyama is there didn't he leave UA? (and Japan)
3. Apparently people forgot the connection between Endeavor and Shoto. Normally this would be a good thing as Shoto would be able to become his own person.
This falls flat when you remember that also includes people forgetting the reason and happenings behind Shoto's existence, it just feels to good to be true. Everyone overlooks the bad and gets tunnel vision over any semblance of good.
Now you may be wondering, so what's going on.
Well, Midoriya's having a breakdown fantasy to cope with the fact that he won't be becoming a hero due to the loss of his quirk.
It sounds crazy but consider the following.
Midoriya subconsciously knows the way he's been treated was wrong. This manifests within the escapists fantasy in Bakugo's drop in the rankings + the attitude surrounding him (as well as his damaged hand never fully healing)
He meets a kid who just so happens to be in a near exact same position as he once* was (and still is to an extent). One could take this as his mind's way of trying to cope and heal itself, by having Midoriya do what he does best and help others, henceforth working though his trauma by using the kid as a stand in.
*Even the kid's "bully" seems to be a warped version of Bakugo (perhaps this is how Midoriya tries to fool himself into believing how it was)
We see Kota. I believe that here, Kota serves as what Midoriya thinks he could have been had he not failed. Kota is the idealized version of Midoriya here, the unobtainable.
I believe the abandonment/limited contact from his classmates to be based in reality, unfortunately. Whether it was by choice or forced by their PR to preserve their images (can't be seen around the "freaks" for too long, now can we?). The lie may come in the form of busy schedules.
(either it's what Midoriya tells himself or he's been told, you can't tell me they can't just make a group chat or video call. At least a High School Reunion)
The Mech Suit is a massive cope, it's the dying whimper of Midoriya's childish hope that All Might will save the day. This time there's no magic quirk, no garrish mech suit, no plot twist.
No. There's only Midoriya and the consequences of his, his classmates and hero societies actions. It doesn't matter how shiny and seamless the illusion, how sweet the lie.
You can't hide the blood.

[warning: while f!reader is not described with any specific physical characteristics, the child in this fic is described as having inherited all of Megumi’s attributes and none from reader! please read with that in mind, or pass over this fic if not <3]
Who the hell are you?
Megumi can't shake the unsettled feeling in the pit of his stomach as he stares down at you. He watches as you quickly compose yourself, pulling your expression into something a little less shocked, a strained smile appearing on your face instead. You can't quite meet his eyes.
You're shaking a little bit, with a windbreaker wrapped around you that's much too big for your frame—the logos and insignia on the coat belong to the police precinct Nanami works at, and he suspects he must have loaned it to you. You're soaked through beneath it, just like Kota was when he showed up earlier, and Megumi wonders how long you were out in the rain looking for him.
"Thank you for taking care of him," you say quietly, your hand still on Kota's back. He watches as your eyes trail across Kota's sleeping face, a glimmer of something distinctly sad behind your eyes. You move to take him from Megumi's arms, and without thinking his grip tightens on the little boy's frame. You look up at him curiously. "I can take him now."
Megumi swallows and nods, handing the child over with a quiet, unnecessary "Careful."
Kota looks completely at peace in your arms, nuzzling his little face into your neck the moment you take hold of him. He doesn't wake at all. Doesn't even stir.
It makes Megumi sad for a moment, that he won't get to say a proper goodbye.
He shakes that sudden, unwarranted thought from his mind as quickly as it appears. But there's something else lingering in the back of his mind, more distantly, that begs for him to pay it attention. To acknowledge it.
You turn your back to Megumi.
"I'll take you two home," Nanami says, nodding down towards you. He's still in his uniform, still on duty as far as Megumi knows, having come from the police station when Yuuji called him. This seems a fairly low-priority task given Nanami's rank as an Inspector with the prefectural police, but given that Yuuji was the one who contacted him it doesn't altogether surprise Megumi that the man took it upon himself to see the job through.
Yuuji fetches Kota's rain jacket from the coat rack, laying it over the sleeping boy's shoulders to keep him dry in the quick walk from the clinic to the police cruiser. Then Megumi watches as he carefully slips his little yellow rain boots back onto his feet. You face him once he's done, bowing as deeply as you can with your son in your arms.
"Thank you so much for all your help, I'm so grateful to you," you say to him, still bowing. You stand, glancing over to Megumi next, though you don't let your eyes linger for long before looking away again. "To both of you."
"He's a really sweet kid," Yuuji assures you. "Don't get too mad at him for taking off like that, he was just trying to do what he thought was right."
You smile a little, looking down at Kota's sleeping face. You brush a tendril of his dark, unruly hair away from his eyes.
"I know," you murmur. "I'm just happy to have him in my arms again."
"You should keep a closer eye on him."
Everyone freezes when Megumi speaks, his tone fairly flat.
You don't meet his eyes. You nod. "Sorry, Fushiguro-san."
"We should go," Nanami says, cutting into the conversation and shooting Megumi a look that makes him feel like a misbehaving child.
You nod towards Nanami, and allow him to lead you out through the sliding front door of the veterinary clinic.
It's still raining outside, though not quite as heavily as it had been earlier in the evening. Yuuji and Megumi stand in the doorway watching as you leave, Yuuji waving one hand up over his head when Nanami casts one last look back before slipping into the driver's seat.
It's only once the car finally pulls away, that feeling of molten lead still churning in the pit of his stomach, that Megumi comes to a realization.
He turns to Yuuji, and his friend looks at him a little bit strangely at the abrupt movement. His brow furrows when he sees the bewildered look on Megumi's face.
"Did you tell her my name?"

going anon bc i don’t wanna get doxed for this take. but i need to get this shit off my chest before i go insane.
i don’t really care about eri. NOW DON’T JUMP ME LET ME EXPLAIN PLEASE!!
my first thoughts when seeing her were “oh, this child is getting killed and brought back to life hundreds of times on the daily, i’d like that to stop.” and then when she gets saved i no longer had any feelings towards her. (it is absolutely adorable that she calls everyone their hero names i must admit)
she’s not really a character. she’s a plot device. her quirk is a plot device and she is the vessel for that quirk. she’s there as a landing pad for hori so that he can do crazy shit like have deku lose his arms and then he can just have eri magic it away.
she’s not rly compelling. i care more about the LOV and class 1-B than i do abt eri. she’s just so boring and i don’t really care about her thoughts or feelings. bc im too busy re-watching my villain academia to soak up any and every bit of LOV content i can.
anyway pls don’t kidnap my family
It's okay anon no one is going to jump you here!
I guess my main problem with Eri is just how one dimensional and flat she is as a character. Like I find Kota way moreee interesting than Eri even though it's eri that we get more of in general.
You are right Eri is a plot device and nothing more. One thing about her is that she is an overpowered plot device that can literally fix the narrative if hori let her do so. This is one of the reasons why he made it so that she literally mutilated herself for the sake of izukus arms and there is so much wrong with that.
It's a shame because my own feeling for Eri started to slowly drift away after she got rescued. I personally think that MHA should of focused much more on her learning about normal life and slowly entering society and the difficulties she experiences. I wouldn't be surprised if she had PTSD from overhaul and what he did to her and if she did that should be explored. Does this PTSD trigger her quirk? How does it effect her and so much more.
Eri is also (like izuku) a character that shares parallels with so many other characters these being:
Nedzu
Shigaraki
Shoto todoroki
Izuku
These few similarities that she has can be developed and if these characters were to interact especially if we get Eri and nedzu I feel like it would be beneficial for both of their characters. Also developing Eri and her goal of her being a singer should of been something introduced way earlier to make her more interesting.
Eri wanting to be a singer is actually completely incredible as it separates her from her quirk completely and actually a singer or songs are an abstract way of expression which is something that Eri used to struggle with due to overhauls abuse.
At the moment 1B, lov and almost any character is much more interesting than the one dimensional version we have of Eri. Heck even Kota is more interesting and likable.

Everything Has Changed--Ch. 27
Tumblr media
Chapter 27
Shaye
Good God, it felt like my heart had turned inside out and clawed its way into my throat. For a moment—from the instant that he spoke—I couldn’t breathe. I was suddenly right back in that train station in Tokyo. On the steep-sloped trail along the side of Mount Tsukuba. Standing at the wide windows looking out over the sprawling Katsushida ward below. In the Bullet Club locker room in Osaka. In Central Park along the side of a pond.
In Winnipeg, standing shivering in the dirt driveway of that house. Watching Kota Ibushi appear out of nowhere, knowing that I had just been kidding myself that Kenny and I would ever have worked out.
And yet here I was… with him on the phone. The moment that I felt most alone, I’d turned back to the person who had broken me so thoroughly.
“You’re still there, Shaytan,” Kenny’s voice said in my ear. It had an undercurrent of something that I couldn’t quite place. It made my skin crawl just as much as it made me wonder what might have been. “I can hear you.”
It was like my whole body crumpled in on itself. I slipped from the edge of Damon’s bed to the floor. The force of the landing rocketed through my spine as I landed, knocking the breath out of my lungs. It rushed out of me in a gasp that caught in my throat.
There was a sound like a soft hum that came down the line. I could see his face in my mind. A gentle smile on his lips as he leaned forward to put his elbows on his knees. It was past midnight in New York. In Tokyo it was early afternoon. Kenny would have been just coming back to his flat from his workout and lunch at the little hole-in-the-wall spot down the street from the gym. The image ran through me with a shiver up my spine.
“What’s the matter, Shaytan?” he asked softly.
Before I could stop them, the tears came. They came in a torrent that rushed down my cheeks, stealing what little breath I had left. An ache settled behind my ribs like a hook in my heart that yanked and tore and pulled.
His voice lilted up and down with that sweet concern that he had. “Iki o sutte kudasai, koibito. Watashi wa koko ni imasu.” It had been so long since I’d heard or spoken Japanese. It took a moment for my brain to make sense of what it was hearing.
Take a breath, sweetheart. I am right here. That hook in my chest twisted and yanked, feeling as if it were tearing my heart from behind my ribs. I sank forward, curling in on myself. Wrapping my free arm around my stomach as if I were trying to hold my guts inside me.
“Damon…” My brother’s name caught in my throat. I thought of where he might have gone. What trouble he might be getting himself into. “I can’t… he’s gone… he ran off.”
I heard a faint rustle on the other end of the line. I tried to imagine what he was doing. Was he walking through the quiet streets back to his flat? Was he still in the little restaurant in his favorite booth? Had he slipped a little and gotten another deep-fried Mars bar?
“What do you want from me?” Kenny went quiet for a moment as if to let me think. “What do you need?”
My lungs ached as I sucked in a breath. I knew the answer almost before he’d finished asking the question. But I hated myself for it.
           “You.”
Nick
“Oh my God, Nick. Stop it,” Sam said from across the table. There was a whine in her voice that was part annoyance and part frustration. She kicked my shin underneath the table. She, Matt, and I were at our favorite table at Black Bear Diner with our usual spread between us.
My phone sat face up by my plate. Every few minutes, I’d tap the screen, look forlornly at the glowing glass, and then heaving a sigh when there was nothing. All three of us knew what I was doing—checking for messages from Shaye. There was no denying it.
It had been weeks since I’d heard from her. Every single day, I wanted to call her. I wanted to text her. Just to know that she was still there. It was hard to explain, and I knew that it was going to tear me up inside the longer I lingered on the thought. I could feel the ache starting deep in my chest, just behind my ribs. It sucked the breath out of my lungs and I nearly choked.
“That’s it,” she said, reaching across the table and snatching my phone before I could get my hands on it. She hit the button on the side, holding it down until it turned off completely. Then she tucked it underneath her thigh.
“Give me my phone,” I said, holding out my hand.
Sam shook her head and went back to her food. She took a bite of her turkey sandwich and turned her attention to Matt. “When do you have to go to Reseda again?”
“Sam, give me my phone,” I demanded. Frustration boiled just below the surface of my voice.
She ignored me. “I have to do a showing this weekend for one of my classes.”
Matt dug his phone from his pocket and opened up his calendar. He swiped through it before putting it away. “Next PWG show is Friday night. I guess you’re going to miss it, then.”
“Well, it depends on where you are on the card. I might be able to swing it if you’re near the end of the show.”
The two of them carried on their conversation as if they were alone at the table. My guts churned with jealousy and envy. Seeing them together made me miss Shaye even more. It didn’t matter that there had never really been anything between the two of us. I’d fallen in love with her in Osaka the first time I’d met her. That hadn’t changed just because she’d cut me out of her life.
My patience snapped. “Samantha, give me my damn phone!”
“Watch your tone,” Matt said, his voice sharp. “Calm down.”
I rubbed my eyes hard with my fingers, trying to push back the tears that were threatening to rush to the surface. “Please, just give me my phone. I’m going home.”
           “Nick—”
Sam put my phone on the table. I snatched it up and threw a twenty on the table. Sam drove us all to the diner. I called an Uber.
Shaye
Despite myself, Kenny’s voice made me weak in the knees. All I could envision was the way he’d looked that first day in the Tokyo train station. How kind his eyes had been. How soft his voice echoed in my memory. I squeezed my eyes shut, fighting nausea at the idea of calling him.
“It’s good to hear from you, Shaytan,” he said confidently. The timbre of his voice conjured images of nights overlooking the streets of the ward with Kenny’s hands on me. “I’ve missed you.”
My body ached with want and sadness and loneliness. “Don’t call me that,” I said softly. “You don’t get to call me that anymore.”
It didn’t matter that I’d called him. That I’d told him that I needed him.
I could hear his smile when he spoke again. “You will always be my unmei no akai ito.” For a moment, I thought I sensed sadness in his voice. “It isn’t right without you. I’m not right without you.”
Something burned in my throat. Bile and tears and self-loathing. “Stop. Just stop,” I gasped, trying to stop myself from breaking down into pieces. What had I done? How had I been so stupid as to call him? “You don’t get to say those things. You don’t get to be sad and upset and lonely. Because you did this. All of this is your fault. Everything that’s happened is because you did it. You and Kota fucking Ibushi ruined everything. Absolutely everything.”
It went quiet on the other end of the line. When he spoke again, his voice was soft. Almost contrite. “It wasn’t what you think, Shaye. If you’d given me five minutes to explain, I would have told you everything.”
“And what was that, Kenny?” Anger and hurt and hatred burned through my veins. “That you were fucking Kota behind my back? That you were going dark on me because you wanted to sneak away? Because that’s exactly what it looked like to me.”
“Did it bother you at all that Nick came with you? That he was so willing to fly from California to Winnipeg just like that? Without a moment’s notice?” There was something bordering on fury in his voice. “It didn’t occur to you at all that he was a little too helpful?”
It was the same thing he’d tried to convince me about when he’d called when I was in California. “Stop. Just stop. I don’t believe you. Don’t you dare lie about Nick that way! He was there when you completely broke me!”
Kenny chuckled darkly. “You never asked him, did you?”
I wanted to scream. My stomach churned. “Fuck you,” I said, my voice far less sure than I wanted. “I hate you!”
His voice dropped into a whisper that I’d heard a thousand times before. “You called me, Shaytan. When you needed someone, you didn’t call Nick Jackson. You called me.”

When most people are all warm and snug in their homes, and out of the frigid elements that mother nature has inflicted upon the world, one man is out in the middle of it all. Preferring the dead of night to take his strolls when everyone and everything is asleep, the stillness of a world frozen over with a blanket of sparkling white, settles his tortured mind after a less than enjoyable day at the Time Patrol. He finds delight in the sharp bite of the frosty air nipping at his skin, as he sits himself on an old stone bench.
Though most people tend to avoid being out in this kind of weather, Kota thoroughly adores the wintertime and all it has to offer and rather be out and about in the snow, than cooped up.
And as fresh snow begins to fall from the heaven's and drape Kota’s shoulders in a chilling embrace, one almost feels like they are the only person left in this big blue sphere we call Earth.

After 573 layers and my computer refusing to load the file/stop working completely while I was drawing on it, its done!! I had two other frames lined with flat colors for this, but I removed them because I felt like they took away from…well, this :D Those will be uploaded as independent pictures, whenever I’m done coloring them~
First time drawing snow! I really like drawing backgrounds and can work on them for hours on end without getting bored... Unlike with lining and sometimes coloring the characters themselves XD I am very proud of this piece, but I never want to draw another tree again-!!
*Looks at my next couple projects lined up*
