Seeing her also made me think of Spiral-Born Flint, so I redesigned wiz and drew the two of them together. (I'll post his redesign in a separate post lol)

Yesterday (29th) I drew Flint Anvilbreaker's polycule!

Okay... I have thoughts abt a song that I associate w/ the YW...

Specifically it makes me think of the YW immediately post-Dragonspyre. Lines like "I order you to cower and pray" could be Malistaire stuff and "I beg of thee, have mercy on me / I was just a boy you see / I plead of thee have sympathy for me" gives strong YW vibes. (Also I've always mentally connected "Thy genius sates a thirst for trouble" with the Dean of Admissions of Dragonspyre Academy as well.)

I'm actually working on an animatic for it w/ my wizard, Flint Anvilbreaker. I just need to, y'know, animate it.

I was only able to do 2 days of Wiztober, and they're done a day late, but here they are!

Day 1: Obsession/Apathy

Spiral Savior Radio!

The only radio show with hosts who have saved multiple worlds!

Victoria, Flint, Fiona, and Megan run a radio that reaches every corner of the Spiral! They usually do more light-hearted shows, but occasionally take to more serious topics to help people-

They often know their callers, given their nature as saviors of the Spiral. Fiona tends to be the most extroverted of the four, so she's usually the main host.

If somebody specific calls, say Mellori calls in to check on their favorite thaumaturge or Professor Wethersfield sneakily calls in to make sure Flint is taking care of wizself, that particular wizard usually takes the call.

They chatter with each other, sing Earth music, give advice, and just generally kinda vibe.

Might write a one-shot collection or (more likely) work this into some of my fics-

2. Does your wizard practice a secondary school of magic? How do they feel towards that professor?

Flint has a secondary school of Storm! He only knows a few spells, but he uses them to great advantage. Halston is wizzys second-favorite teacher! Flint thinks he's interesting & a good teacher.

25. What are your wizard's family like? How do they influence your wizard?

Leslie Anvilbreaker (Flint's mother) was a kind and helpful woman, but she died when he was roughly eight, shortly after his sister Citrine was born.

Oswald Anvilbreaker was never a shining star of parenthood, but after his wife's death he got worse, and straight up neglected his kids. This resulted in Flint having to grow up too fast. He ended up raising both himself and Citrine until he was taken to the Spiral.

Wiz never blamed Citrine for any of this, but he did end up with a strong, deep-seated desire for a parent figure. Wiz is also somewhat of a parent friend, looking after his friends like he did with Citrine.

Hello and welcome to Victoria joins the "making characters who are storm wizards named Calamity" gang

I don't like the way this one came out as much but uh, it's Calamity's bestie, Caiden!
