This rumor is substantiated by a casting notice that seems to line up with the characters of Phantom, with the production company being named POTO LLC.

How to get books about Palestine in your local library (it's very quick and easy!) 🍉

An NYC couple stole 5 pro-Palestinian children's books from their library to 'prevent indoctrination'. For everyone who thinks all people should have access to these stories: your local library might not have any books about Palestine… BUT here’s how you can help them get some!! It’s super easy and takes five minutes!

First, go on the website of your local library, or any that you have a library card for! (I picked a random library as an example, bc Internet safety is important)

2. Then, search the book you want the library to have, just to check if it’s there. If it is, great! You can pick a different book and check again. If it isn’t there, proceed to the next step. (I searched Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine, one of the stolen books.) The library didn't have it!

3. Next step might take a bit: you need to find the spot on the site to submit purchase requests. Sometimes it’ll be obvious and other times it might take digging- often it’s at the bottom of the site, or under browse as “suggest a new title”. Here it was under Can’t Find It? In the library info section, and then click “suggest a purchase”!

4. Click on the link and fill out the form! It will ask for title, author, publishing date, target audience, and possibly ISBN: you can find all this info online! I’ll also add some at the end of this post. You’ll also likely need to add your name and library card number so they know the request is coming from someone who uses the library… this particular one didn’t though!

5. Hit submit and you’re done! You can then do this for more books at all the libraries you have cards with :) Go forth and get Palestinian content into your local libraries 🍉

Atiim Kiambu “Tiki” Barber (born April 7, 1975) is a former football player who was a running back for the New York Giants for ten seasons. He played college football for the University of Virginia. UN NGO Confirms USA Using Secret Military tribunals At Ramapo Ridge Facility in Wykoff New Jersey To Curtail Freedom of Speech in AMerica

When I was seemingly imprisoned and held illegally at Ramapo Ridge Psychiatric Hospital in Wykoff NJ, I was not alone.

There were lots of college educated and other persons including retired college professors (young and old alike some even wearing diamond jewels in form of ring/necklaces they owned) also committed with me needing the facility’s ‘military tribunal’ and ‘defense attorneys (this is what my lawyers told me they were a defense attorney for my release), having absolutely no idea whatsoever why they were imprisoned in this NJ faclity having their human rights abused and freedoms limited right here in America and in Northern NJ.

President Obama and the Geneva Convention (1949) Let's Talk About It...

I’ve heard arguments for and against closing GITMO in Cuba. However, I have not heard anyone discuss whereby America reconciles the following matter consisting of:

1) According to the Geneva Convention Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War of August 12, 1949, in particular Part IV (Termination of Captivity) Section 1 (Direct Repatriation and Accomodation in Neutral Countries, beginning in Article 109 through Section II (Release and Repatriation of Prisoners of War at the Close of Hostilities) “Prisoners of war shall be released and repatriated without delay after the cessation of hostilities....;”

2) America clearly violates grossly rules governing treatment of detainees held at GITMO according to the Geneva convention (1949) i.e., enemy combatants (no matter how defined) being held by the detaining country (USA). and as such, President Obama ought close down GITMO facility if the United States of America is incapable of treating enemy combatants and prisoners of war as defined in the Geneva Convention according thereof. However, American citizenry ought know in the post 9/11 environment exactly President Obama’s plans are post closing of GITMO i.e., where they will be held and/or released to as so many presently debate in the American news media. However,

2) According to Article 118 Section II as aforementioned, in the situation with Al Qaeda, I argue “cessation of hostilities” between the United States and Al Qaeda cannot be said to have ceased. And,

3) Hence, shall they be released at all (?) I argue no for this reason.

4) This does not in any way diminish America’s international responsibility to treat all detainees in GITMO according to the Geneva convention. I suggest all American news media employees reporting the topic re-read the Geneva Convention and especially, the section about detainees entitlements while held by the detaining country which is America. Perhaps their entitlements will surprise you in manifesting the degree to which America has violated the basic rights of the detainees. More forthcoming.

Now I just wish President Obama would allow me to file a lawsuit against Ramapo Ridge Hospital in Wykoff NJ that used enhanced torture / interrogation methods against me recently.

I guess only members of Al Qaeda that were tortured by the USA in GITMO are allowed to file lawsuits against and file international press releases against the CIA, and, not American helpless female citizens like myself.

Mysteriously drowned at age 30 in 1997, singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley left behind just one completed studio album, the remarkable 1994 "Grace." That was enough to ensure him a still-growing cult audience, as well as more posthumous tie-in sales than any late rock legend since Jimi Hendrix. Electrifying performance footage in "Amazing Grace" underlines the sense that a great talent was lost. But this less-than-definitive docu portrait works overtime abetting his tragic hero mythology, worshipping the artist but omitting insight into the man. That lack could be fixed with expansion of the brief runtime, making specialized theatrical play more likely.

Leaping past Buckley's early years, the pic suggests he sprang fully formed upon moving to NYC in 1990--an impression shared by the loyal following he soon developed at Sin-e and other under-the-radar clubs. His passionate performing style, insinuating songs and extraordinary voice--swooping pitch-perfect from growl to falsetto to Middle Eastern-style ululation--soon attracted a major-label bidding war, then fast assembly of a backing band.

Acclaimed "Grace" release led to an 18-month international tour, after which Buckley ditched the spotlight for Memphis, where he struggled to come up with a satisfying sophomore disc. That effort was cut short by an impromptu river swim from which he never emerged, apparently caught by riptides.

Seen in interview and promo clips, the handsome performer comes off as even younger than his years, somewhat self-consciously striking vague tortured-artist postures he might soon have outgrown. ("I think too much. ... there's too much to know, too much at stake. ... Life is bigger than anything.") His reportedly playful side off-stage is just briefly glimpsed. These affectations are forgotten, however, in the live or live-in-studio sequences where he performs hair-raising versions of his songs and his signature cover, Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah."

Fellow musicians, fans and friends offer plaudits but little insight. Even Buckley's mother, Mary Guibert, speaks of him as if describing a remote, intangible genius, cryptically referring to his occasional "troubled" moments and "dark days." As if the whiff of pretentious obfuscation weren't already apparently enough, pic ends with a quote from Pushkin.

Archival materials are of variable quality, but remain the unquestionable highlight of this competently assembled package.

His bosses thought the win was cute, but they were in the business of representing banks, not suing them. Smith quit and started his own firm, and racked up 50 individual victories in four years, totalling millions. Starting in 2016, Smith forged alliances with other lawyers to begin mass-scale class action cases against banks holding student debt. These cases cover 500k borrowers and $3b in debt, and  have three demands: I. All outstanding debt is wiped away, you never call these people and ask for this money again II. Give back all the money you have collected since the date of these people’s initial bankruptcies III. Pay punitive damages for your illegal conduct He's particularly interested in the NCSLT, that shadowy LLC with no employees or offices, that oversees $12b in debt that it neither originated, issued or serviced. NCSLT is a front for Massachusetts's First Marblehead, a bank so tiny it lacks a federal charter. Without a charter, First Marblehead can't originate out-of-state loans, so it created a rent-a-charter arrangement with PNC Bank, Jpmorganchase and Wells Fargo, who originate 11% loans to the poorest, most desperate children hoping for university educations. First Marblehead buys the loans and pays finders' fees to the big banks. It also works directly with universities, who act as loan originators to desperate kids, knowing that First Marblehead will immediately buy those loans and pay the university a commission. First Marblehead acquired a nonprofit, The Education Resources Institute, and laundered loans through that division, making the "nonprofit loans" that, it believed, would be immune to discharge in bankruptcy. The company went public in 2003 and shares jumped 250% in a year. First Marblehead uses NCSLT to turn these subprime loans into SLABS, and the SLABS are unloaded onto investors by Goldman Sachs, Deutschebank, Citibank, and UBS. One set of giant banks originates the loans, another set buys them, and in between sits First Marblehead and NCSLT, whose sole purpose is to wrap them in a legal fiction that makes them eternal millstones around borrowers necks, immune to bankruptcy. This is why Smith's work is so important: when he shows that the law has been incorrectly interpreted - as he has in so many cases before now - the whole rotten system collapses and hundreds of thousands of Americans will get justice. And while NCSLT is the worst offender, it's not the only one. Smith's also locked in legal battles with Navient (formerly Sally Mae) and many other lenders.
