The gender parameter in SynthV is formant shifting, but which formants I wonder? F1? F2’? A combination of various formants?

(Technically I have Tsurumaki Maki AI lite (the voicebank, with an anime-style character visual) but I forgot to check the exact name of the product so the first one just said it’s the lite version haha..)

I was trying to draw my interpretation of Maki (on the right) but it’s been a while and I didn’t focus too much on details when I drew the one above. I still like her decoration behind her left ear though

man, you know what would be sick to make? a program that takes speech and outputs IPA. i remember for a class i had to do speech analysis or whatever thats called--the thing where you listen to a conversation by ear and notate all the different nuances of the speech--and like, it was fun, but its definitely an acquired skill. anyway this program would just be IPA (with some spaces for pauses)! i mean youd first have to make sure the program recognizes speech from other noise, but otherwise you just have to figure out how to assign all the formants to IPA. you could have different language profiles, too
