really actually kind of enjoy how the big lore moments are sort of quiet on a singular stream (or a small group!) instead of the events solely being the lore; i think there would be this hesitation to develop anything solo if the server reinforced this idea that Big Lore could only happen during scheduled events and days. instead the more narrative-progressing moments (take the baghera hybrid experiments revelation or the philza birdnapping for recent example) are very low-key and almost unhyped up— there’s no expectation for that kind of lore necessarily at the time which makes it more rewarding to experience as a viewer. big fan of how they do the events as player bonding time rather than serious narrative progression because it allows all the players (especially the ones who don’t engage in the rp side that much) to participate and get to know each another more; it’s very neat it’s really smart it’s nicely executed

another number one's fun fact that's literally pissing me off. well no this is a wonderful fact that has emotional resonances but like the ways women contribute to music history is so vast and far reaching and its just never acknowledged. even in supposedly male-dominated scenes and genres its always there and this erasure is only worsened by the fact nobody behind the scenes is given their due, we only view musicians or like. producers (read: auteurs) as the genius and not the village full of people

Bought an aftermarket remote for my Roku TV because I wore down/don’t have/stopped paying for all the shit on the buttons.
These fakes are so good. Best $8 I ever spent.

Wilson's wildlife solutions?? (←wants to know)
ok so i answer this already but tumblr fucking ate it so if this posts twice im gonna be fucking pissed
anyway, wilsons wildlife solutions is an organisation that works under the foundation (they used to be independent but stuff went wrong) to house and adopt out anomalous animals and animal adjacent things
heres the hub, heres the first entry i read from them and heres my fav entry [this ones actually pretty sad dont read it if you find animal death upsetting]
anyway i just find them so fun and light compared to the horrifying occasional black-comedy of the rest of cannon.

Unity can only be established enduringly if it is based on tolerance and collaboration which give happiness and peace to all the parties involved.

it’s pretty obvious that the scp entries themselves aren’t even canon, given how many of them imply or explicitly state that this anomaly is going to cause the end of the world in the very near future or that it already has. So I guess you can just pick and choose which are canon, but I don’t think anyone would say that.
my interpretation is that the foundation database we see is a coagulation of the foundation database of multiple universes. Hell, this is basically a canon explanation, because it means that all 001 entries are true for a different world’s foundation.
