I want to see people half naked in a gas station at 3am yelling about 5G. I don't want to see the systematic abuse of people who are often minorities and/or vulnerable on a subreddit that's meant to be for things that are like... not that serious. reducing literal police brutality to "public freakout" is so inappropriate because a) there's bigger issues here, buddy and b) this is a public servant who's supposed to me conducting himself in a particularly exemplary fashion, and putting his complete neglect of duty and often outright sadism on the same level as a person throwing a big baby tantrum over an expired coupon is, in my opinion, watering this shit down extremely and desensitising people to the sight. police officers should not be freaking out in public at all, unless they're off duty and throwing a tantrum about the aforementioned expired coupons.
