have you ever noticed that a lot of Russell’s main outfits tend to contain orange in some form(both his bomber tactical jackets have orange lining, His ranger skin has a orange scarf, his brown leather jacket has a kinda orange tint to it as well as his aviators, his ninja suit in black ops 6 has orange highlights) when it’s not Blue( both his navy polo shirts, the primary color of his Cold War final mission jacket, his office button up) ?

Ohhhh I’m just noticing this and you’re right! Maybe is a color they identify him with? Could have a meaning behind it 🤔 or maybe is a color that suits him well!

I thought fist about black or blue, but he does have orange on most of his outfits as well 🤔

It’s going to be interesting seeing what kind of colors he will get on the MP skins, that hopefully we can get soon! 😭❤️

I imagined Vasili, who had now a Pantheon associate gets captured by the Rogue Black Ops after Koa's encounter with him in Vorkuta, Vasili would be like, "Do you think you could save someone like me, Commander? Knowing what you had done to your own wife? And your own daughter?"

This man would go entirely emotional damage mode on Koa, but how would he react to it? When in reality, Vasili would never do that..

O.M.G! KHUSHI! YOU ANGSTY GENIUS!

Ok ok ok! I’ll go ahead and answer this for ya! UUUUGH! This is too good!

Koa would be standing there in silence when Vasili mentioned about what he had done in the past. Even hearing him mention about his dead DAUGHTER. I could imagined that the team in the same room could feel the intention. Even for Frank and Adler. Knowing about Koa’s past and his relationship with Vasili.

At first, they thought that Koa would go all threatening on Vasili when he mention it. But…he didn’t. He just stood there, looking down to the ground a bit. Koa has been training his WHOLE life of controlling his anger. His own emotion. His own judgment. And since he is now the Commander. Since he is now back with his family. Being the loving husband to his wife and a loving father to his sons and a loving grandfather to his grandchildren.

He knows of what he was doing. And he also knows that’s not Vasili. He knows he would never say those words to him. To weaken him. He knows Vasili is a good man despite of his past mistakes. He knows his friend…his old friend…is still in there. This Vasili that he is facing is NOT him. He could sense that dark spirit from him.

So instead of approaching him with anger. He walked up to Vasili as everyone watched.

Frank was about to stop him but Adler signaled him to wait. As they continue to watch Koa stood in front of him and knelt down a bit to face him.

I know for sure Vasili would still either grin or just giving him that dull look. Expecting this Māori man to say something upsetting but instead. The only thing he could see through Koa’s eyes are…soft, kind and tender. Not a single anger or frustration in those brown eyes of his.

After the two of them stare at each other. Kia started to speak. And this is what he says to him.

“Vasili…I know you’re in there. I know those words you said wasn’t on purpose. I know you would never said those things to me when I told you about my past. And I…I had a feeling that you don’t want to show yourself in front of me. Because of how I react. Of how EVERYONE going to react. But I just want you to know…if you would listen to me. Please.”

Koa slowly placed his hand behind Vasili’s head and still kept his eyes on him.

“I FORGIVE you.”

Those three words is all he could say to his old friend. Everyone in the room will be confused at this but I know Frank knows. And he’s kind of impressed.

I don’t know if the OLD Vasili could hear Koa saying those words. But he MEAN it. He forgives Vasili after everything he had done. And after that, Koa would slowly placed his forehead against Vasili. Just like we talked about the greetings and blessings. Like that!

So yeah, Koa has been learning so much from the Safe House and had been dealing so many things that will anger him easily. But after a few years of experiencing. He has become a better man than he ever was before.

Thank you, Khushi for sending this to me! It’s really nice to see how that OTHER Vasili interact with the Commander. But he forgets that no one will know the REAL Vasili better than his friends that he made back in the Safe House. And Koa is one of those friends. So try harder next time OTHER Vasili.
