I'm a bit short on time this week but still wanted to drop in for #ReBootober. Here's a sketch for yesterday's prompt "30 years later" - a lil nod to my earliest Reboot memory which was watching "In the Belly of the Beast".

Been experimenting a bit with chibi style stuff! Here's the main characters from my current WIP novel. Vera and her gf Bianca. And Frisket and the human they are flirting with, Rhys.

My first fandom is very, very obvious; I was into ReBoot before I was into Animorphs or Neopets. And the majority of my recent fandom interests are video games, which are very easy to cross over with ReBoot! Just make Canon B a Game cube and drop it on Mainframe, and as long as you ignore the twenty-year real life time discrepancy between the release dates of the two you can move on to deciding which characters would reboot as which in-game enemies.

Currently it's Lethal Company (I already did this exact exercise for Don't Starve). Matrix 1.0 would obviously be a Nutcracker. One eye, has a gun, it's perfect. If S4 Hexadecimal is there she's the obvious candidate for a Masked. Based mainly on vibes I want to say Dot would be a Bracken and Bob would be a Barber. Frisket is of course an Eyeless Dog. I'm starting to run out of humanoids that aren't fifty feet tall but I feel like adult AndrAIa could pull off being a Coil-Head, although it does deprive her of her signature projectile claw-nails. Depending on the timing the Ghost Girl could be either young AndrAIa or Enzo 2.0 (gender notwithstanding, since there's precedent for gender-blind rebooting in the show). Which leaves... uh... Mouse as the Butler? They have very different silhouettes but I could see her wielding a knife to deadly effect and being filled with furious hornets.

Another obscure ReBoot find on eBay in the UK. These originally came stuck to cereal boxes. Bob's picture is weird and terrifying but the rest are beaut. I'd like to get them mounted properly eventually, I'm sure it's possible. 💙💚 Glad someone kept them all.

Let's just say I wasn't happy with how the first draft was going, it was repetitive and boring and not something I wanted to read. So I'm remaking from, well, not entirely from the ground up but pretty close.

There's still a Gordon Ramsey parody, though it more of the user themselves playing a more sadistic version (100% the user here is 12 lol) rather than it being a random npc. And it still has cooking in it, just in different form.
