What interactive fiction would you recommend (besides this one)?
oh anon i follow over 150 if blogs let me get you some of my favorites😊 This is very long so all of them are under the cut🫶
some of these you'll probably already have heard of bc of how popular they are, but trust me, they're popular for a reason, lmao
these ones all have demos (if i messed up and some dont uh ignore that)
@infamous-if - "You're going to be a superstar, no matter what it takes." genuinely one of my favorites ifs (seven lawless my beloved please come back home the kids are asking whats taking so long)
@coeluvr - "You play as the only remaining member of the royal family of Vesphire; living in the home of the man who took away everything from you." another ive been obsessed with recently. i will forever love revenge stories (and my pookie helios)
@merrycrisis-if - "As a late 20-something year-old fresh from a recent break-up and struggling to pay rent in New York, life throws up more questions than answers."
@ramonag-if - "When your village is razed to the ground, you're left fleeing with an exiled prince. You can trust no one but each other. Your father's dying wish was to protect the prince, but can you really trust a man who was exiled from his kingdom?"
@nyehilismwriting / Project Hadea - "Set in a distant future, you play the role of an elite operative of Scytha Industries, a private contracting firm. ‘Contracting’, in this case, refers to anything from political assassinations, to private security, to bodyguard services."
@vapolis - "You’re a mercenary, gun for hire, assassin, information extractor, delivery person – call it what you want, because the people that hire you for your services don’t give much of a shit what you call yourself as long as you actually get them what they want."
@godsandvillains-if - "As the only metahuman with the ability to wield the powerful Chaos Magic, your very blood holds the answers to unlocking the secrets behind the control of time and space, but it has the drawback of being almost completely volatile."
@hvllowheart - "LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER is a spy game where you take on the role of an agent under the codename Wraith, who up until two years ago was one of the best agents TERRA has ever made. now the agency returns into your life and pulls you back into the field as agents go missing by the dozens."
@eyesofshan-if - "Years ago, you were uprooted from the only home you had ever known and captured to be sold as a slave. Now, war is at your doorstep once more while you are left in a delicate position — as a commander of the country that invaded your homeland. While investigating a case of illegal human trafficking, you come across a plot that threatens to rip this tentative peace apart."
@apt502-if - "Moving from your small home to New York City was supposed to be a dream. You were supposed to start your new life with your long-distance partner and dive headfirst into full-on adulthood. Everything was supposed to be perfect. How can you not love being in your mid-twenties in the Big Apple? That is until your put-together, white collar partner dumps you the same day you arrive. Fun."
@acourtofserpents - "As the only human in the Kingdom of Faerie, you're no stranger to shining eyes that hold looks filled with hatred, lips painted in the color of forest fruits whispering your name, heads with pointed ears turning at your every step. Though you long for their approval, for a place amongst the wicked immortals, they remind you with every breath you take that as you came from dirt, to dirt you will return."
@softlyopulent-if - "All of King Adder’s children are a mystery to the common folk, but you—you are nothing but a ghost. A ghost, that spends eighteen years locked away in the deepest part of the palace, so that no eyes may lay upon you.And those that do—they do not treat you kindly. And when you are finally of age, at last, you are betrothed to the child of the King of a far away kingdom, to secure an alliance that your father has been seeking for years. And you are swept away to a place even more foreign than your own land, to be wed to a stranger that looks at you with contempt. To live in a kingdom of citizens that despise you. And perhaps, just perhaps, fight a war."
@heromaker-if - "Stories of heroes, legends and chosen ones are commonplace. But you'd never thought it was your child who would have to save the world from the Demon Lord's clutches."
@theabyssal - "In The Abyssal, you assume the control of a powerful deity that was betrayed by their fellow gods. Imprisoned against your will for all eternity, you had a long time to plan your revenge."
@milaswriting - "By birth, and association, you are one of the most famous people in the big city of Lehsa. Your father's the mayor, and you're from a bright, vibrant, bustling city... and yet, until recently, you didn't realise all the secrets yourself and the city held."
@zico-if - "You were supposed to be a sacrifice in order to bring an eldritch god to your realm, a sacrifice that was never supposed to live. Instead of dying and summoning the god intended, you find yourself face to face with an ancient being that was chained and locked away for the horrors they once committed."
@collegetennisoriginstory - "Experience the ups-and-downs of life as a freshman on the Cargill University varsity tennis team amongst a colorful cast of characters."
@disenchantedif - "You used to be a beacon of hope. Now they only know you as the failure, the Unchosen. Will you rise above them? Will you become better or far worse than they could ever imagine?"
@bouncyballcitadel - "Play as a first-year surgery intern at Citadel Health. Will you become the star intern and curry the favor of the chief? Or will you uncover Citadel Health’s secrets and break a story or two? This will be the best and worst year of your life. Don’t forget to save lives and break some hearts along the way."
@leoneliterary - "You play as a thief pressed into the employ of a mysterious nobleman. With the your life, the fate of your guild, and your honor on the line, you'll have to navigate the perils of the royal court and combat a more mystical threat. The story is set in Cusmo, the naturally fortified, desert capital of Hashind, and will showcase the much praised Upper Cusmo, the crime ridden Lower Cusmo, and much more."
@doriana-gray-games - "Play as your version of Sherlock Holmes in this romance detective game!"
@fallenlightsif - "You are the half-sibling of High General Ezrah Rhys and have lived the past twelve years of your life in Kesdon, the capital of Ebia. You've spent most of your time training and honing your skills for the future that awaits you. A future that is entirely your own."
@shai-manahan - "They call you Ripper. It’s a horrendous name to give to a detective like you, and definitely not one you chose for yourself, but you suppose it’s to be expected given your reputation for putting powerful people behind bars. Businesses feared you. The other cops hated you. Local gangs despised your entire existence. Yet, despite all of that, you remained untouched. Until that day, when all the lies and the deception and the foolish mistakes turned your life upside down."
@larkingame - "someone is after you. for over a decade and a half now, you’ve traveled up, down and across the country--running schemes and hunting fiends with your mentor, con-man-by-day, vampire-hunter-by-night, Wyatt Abrams--the prolific vampire slayer and the living descendant of Gregory Abrams, founder and prophet of the Abrams Family, the nomadic vampire-hunting cult that raised you--and was wiped out years ago. carrying the abrams name means also means carrying on it's enemies--but that isn't to say you haven't forged a couple of your own along the way. now, it seems someone is trying to make good on old threats and promises. they've placed a bounty on your head. so you and wyatt do what you do best: you run away. to some little town, out nevada ways, where the title of town preacher is unexpectedly thrust upon you--bringing back years of trauma you thought long tucked away."
@evertidings - "you are a bounty hunter. responsible for taking in rogue supernaturals, you work for IAOS—the international agency of supernaturals—where, alongside your best friend and partner, you two have quickly become the best hunting duo of the branch. after a particularly tricky hunt, you brief your boss, Caine Atheron, and come back to work the next day to find that he has mysteriously disappeared overnight, the company is now in the hands of his best friend, Sebastian Mai. and though no one else seems to question it, something tells you that there's more to the story."
@rotten-games - Regrets Of The Traitor: "You are the Ruler of Hadaria after killing the previous Queens and betraying all who once trusted you. Sat upon the throne with all the power available to you, one would be forgiven for believing you finished with your quest. With a strange figure in your dreams speaking vague prophecies of magical artifacts, a mysterious cult moving into the city, and a group intent on unseating you from your place, perhaps you’re way in over your head for a farmer’s kid. City of Immortals: "You follow a pair of siblings worlds apart as they get accustomed to their new realities in two very different worlds. One trapped in an unnatural desert wasteland where every resource has a scarcity, not knowing if they’ll be the only one left when everything turns to dust, the other working as a private investigator in a sprawling underground metropolis of the undying. Each not knowing the other is alive, will they unravel the mysteries that somehow connect their two new homes?"
@shepherds-of-haven - "Shepherds of Haven is a dark fantasy interactive fiction game. In it, you play as a Mage living in a world where magic is outlawed and your people—those possessing supernatural powers—are oppressed and reviled. The world is ruled by humans who believe in science, technology, and industry: at best, you and your kind are nothing more than a fairytale, and at worst you are the state’s greatest threat."
@someoneverypretty-world - "As a child, growing up in the slums of Hvinir without any guardians, you believed you would not live to see 30. Until Haven, a thief guild, took you in and taught you how to survive. Facing hardships, the guild leader tasks you to sneak into the castle with the mission to take."
@northern-passage - "The Northern Passage is an 18+ horror fantasy CYOA, where you play as a hunter sent up north to investigate a series of missing people along the border of your home country and in the port cities of the Blackwater. Working with your handler, Lea, you will travel north and discover that things are far worse than you ever could have imagined, and that there is something powerful lurking out in the deep, dark sea…"
@thedecoy-if - "♔ The Decoy is a dark fantasy that follows you, a 21st century normal human, kidnapped to an alternate magical universe to play the part of the missing heir to a powerful throne...who also happens to be your doppelgänger. ♔"
@ripperplague - "You are a doctor, a prodigy in hiding. Deep in the underbelly of Valeris, you hide among the shadows. You work hard to wring the blood stains off your palms, your face...your soul. Redemption and revenge are parallel goals, the flames of rage and disgust mingling. How could anyone ever love you?"
These ones dont have a demo yet, but im still absolutely obsessed
@pavedinashes-if - "You're only 20 when suddenly your life goes bam! Throwing you into a whole new city, a different country even. Wasn't part of the plan, but you know how life loves to mess with plans. People happened, stuff happened, and suddenly you're on the move. The new chapter ahead? Buckle up, 'cause it's not gonna be all sunshine and rainbows. And guess what? Your step-mom? Yeah, she's right there in the same city. She's always had this knack for trying to steer your ship, like every decision's a GPS checkpoint. But hey, there's this one thing that's never let you down—your skateboard. It's like the buddy that's been with you through thick and thin, the one that never bails. Among all this craziness it's like your anchor. So, the big question is—can you break out of the loop you got in? Find your place in the world and restart or lose yourself in temptation? Time to find out."
@riptide-if - "Your dad has always said you swim as if your were born to be in the water; the rest of your family has always said that he is the whole reason you turned out like that. So, it's not really a surprise when you had used all the money you got for your 7th birthday to buy a surfboard. And even less of a surprise when you started joining small surf competitions by the time you were 10, later followed by bigger competitions. It seems you are the only one surprised when it turns out you're able to compete in the World Surfer's League's Ultimate Tournament Tour*. Thrown into a mix of fellow surfing prodigies, rookies, and pros, do you really have what it takes to win?"
@weepinwriter - "You are inmate No. 1441, incarcerated in Tartarus, the most notorious prison on the continent. You find yourself imprisoned for a crime that you do not remember committing, leaving you in a state of uncertainty about your own identity and purpose. The first memory you have is awakening to the sensation of a gun being shoved into your mouth."
@whatawaitsus - "Despite being one of the most expensive schools in the nation, nothing particularly interesting has happened at the school in the nine years you've been here— aside from the occasional accidental possession caused by a ghost or the common room getting flooded after a nixie gets too frustrated over their homework. That is until students start to go missing."
@evermount - "Blue-suited guards stand in every corner, but they're no threat—you're under threat. And this is how you keep safe. It's necessary; the council said so themselves. Under no circumstances shall Evermount be left, ever. So, no one has, and no one intends to. Why would you? It's peaceful—you're at peace. You have your spouse, and you have your house; everyone's happy. This is all you've ever known."
@forsakensword-if - "When the Deathless, an Ancient Evil that hasn’t been seen in over two million years, returns to Earth, it threatens the extremely precarious peace that has settled between the warring factions of Heaven and Hell. God, in an effort to protect Humanity from the consequences of a war between the Angels and Demons, sends Heaven’s best warriors to banish the Deathless once more. When that ultimately fails, it is declared that God’s Sworn Sword and Heaven’s Chief Angel will be charged with finding a way to destroy the Deathless once and for all. That Angel is you. The Archangel Michael."
@velena-if - "You wake up in a dark, cold place with no memories of yourself, save for one: the memory of your death. It becomes clear soon enough that you are in the Nav, the domain of the goddess of death, Morana, and the sanctuary of all the evil spirits and monsters. For you, Nav will be the place where your life changes forever."
@countdown-if - "Three months ago, life took a sharp turn. Your mother found herself entangled in a situation so bad, she couldn't dig her way out of it, like usual. This time, the hole was way too deep. She needed help, and the only people capable of aiding her were the same ones she had vowed never to allow back into her life, let alone introduce to you and your younger sibling. Who were they? Your grandparents—a powerful and well-established duo. In short, they did manage to help your mother back on her feet, but not without strings attached—never without strings. Now, you're facing a senior year in a private school, fully funded by none other than grandma and grandpa, dearest. The only task at hand: do what your mother couldn't—graduate."
@dropout-if - "This is your first summer home since you began studying in Stanford. That is what everyone thinks. This is your first summer home since you dropped out of college, thus becoming the biggest disappointment in your neighborhood. That is what only you know. "
@stonewall-if - "Stonewall Military Academy: the most brutal, merciless, and unforgiving boarding school in the country. Most recruits either desert or die by the end of their first year. It is where the fiercest and deadliest killers are trained and molded to be the military's steel fist. And it is not for the faint of heart."
@viperdove-if - "You are the Dove, the heir to one of the most powerful crime families in your country. The grip your family--your father--has on their side of the land is tight, and now that you've reached adulthood it's time for you to be fully absorbed into the machinations of gang warfare. That means opium, mercenaries, assassinations. In this ancient world, blood moves people just as much as money does."
@fallen-if - "You are an individual that has been known by many aliases over the years. Child of the dawn, the original sinner, star of the morning. But no matter the name, your identity remains the same. You are the one that defied the heavens, the one that cast aside the shackles of tradition and broke free from the constraints of the divine. You are Lucifer Morningstar - The Fallen Angel. "
@maboroshi-if - "Maboroshi is an Interactive Fiction Game based in the world of Naruto, however, all events within the story span during the end of the First Shinobi War and the beginning of the Second Shinobi War."
@greatprotector-if - "Forced out of your family's farm against your will, you are now an ocean away from home, and you have somehow been chosen to be the main protector of the heir to some kingdom you’ve hardly even heard of. The spot's only open because the former protector died of old age, so that's probably a good indicator that it won't be as strenuous as it sounds. But despite that, you pour yourself into your work. You can't help it. You feel safer decked out in armour, and you like having something you're trusted to look after. Protect some royalty, cover all your blind spots, and try not to worry about all you've left behind."
@retribution-if - "Retribution, He Cries is a revenge story set in the Dark Ages of the fictional world of [REDACTED] and other realms."
@thescarsilivewith-if - "You were a kind monarch once. After your mother’s brutal reign, you thought your people needed respite. Evidently, they didn’t think the same since their bloodthirst only increased. Three years after your coronation, your mother’s favourite consort dethroned you with the army and the clergy’s support. As you fled from the palace together with your spouse, from an arranged marriage celebrated only three months earlier, you were found by slavers. You managed to save your spouse but not yourself. Four years later, your spouse finds you, though you’re not the same person they knew. You are not changed in spirit alone, however, for your magic grew in your captivity and now you’re unbound. When the crown chose you as its owner, you wanted peace for your kingdom. Now the only thing you crave is revenge."
#thanks anon!#this took me way too long lmao#i was gonna add more but u can only @ 50 blogs in one post🙁#anyways! enjoy🫶#rec list#other ifs.

Trolls worldbuilding questions
Forgive me for this but I am thinking way too hard about the logic of this kid’s movie
How big is their world? The pop trolls live in a whole village and were ignorant of trolls from other genres, but all of the trolls seem to live within the same general area??
Where are the bergens native to? The first movie implies (maybe?) that they weren't around when Branch's brothers left him, so where *did* they come from?
Are there any rules to define sentient and non-sentient species? We see a lot of plant/bug creatures that are treated like animals, but there doesn't seem to be a fine line when we consider that Mr. Dinkles talks, maybe they can be taught to do so by civilization?
Are there any other significant species beside Trolls, Bergens, Muppets, and Mount Rageons?
What is up with food in this universe?? Based on the first two movies, it would have been a fair assumption to say that Trolls only eat sugar and candy... the Bergens have a whole bunch of troll recipes but minus the trolls they look pretty normal. When Crimp is demonstrating her "smoothie extractor" all of the fruits she uses are candy. Similarly, the nachos seen on Vacay island look like glass, and the drinks are made of orbeez. The Putt-Putt trolls have normal looking fries, but that checks out since they are bergen fries and not troll fries. Branch also goes into detail about his breakfast which sounds very... normal?? Either he eats differently than the other trolls and prefers less sweet foods, or he had some candy-esque 'troll' version of them. This is the same universe in whice Cooper shit out presumably edible cupcakes, so I really don't know what to say to that
Speaking of which, do the trolls even need to eat?? Floyd was presumably stuck in that perfume bottle for two months, and I doubt Velvet or Veneer would have cared about feeding him. Maybe trolls that are derived of color like Branch need to supplement their diet with nutrients, while other trolls subsist off of happiness and only eat sugar for fun?
#it’s that time of day. im going a little insan3#forgive my loyal followers as i overthink this#trolls#trolls dreamworks#dreamworks trolls#trolls band together#trolls world tour#broppy#trolls fandom#dw trolls#trolls floyd#trolls branch#trolls poppy

Winter cleanup!
Need one more barn, coop, silo, and mill down in the south. That shed is the animal shed, got all the animal artisan makers in there. The fruit plants are under them, the fruit trees are above the ranch area, and the middle part will be for some flowers.
I have the recycling machine, compost, extractor, klin, and furnace below the beehives - but idk if I like that area or if I'll shove them all into another shed and expand the beehive area. If I shove them in another shed it'll probably be in the animal one. Shove the dehydrators in there too if there's room.
Probably gonna put the mushroom logs in those little decorative cutouts in the pathways.
Another shed for kegs and jam makers.
Idk I'll figure it out. Playing around with it all to find something I like.

Sleep, Kill, Eat, Repeat. (Ultros)

Ultros is a game released in 2024, It's a sidescroller metroidvania type, in which you play as… someone, and your main objective is to kill a bunch of sleeping monks and release the Ultros Demon.
I don’t think I played many metroidvanias, I did play some castlevania games and did played some of the metroid games, outside of that, I don’t think that Dark Souls count as a metroidvania, but Blasphemous does, and this one Ultros, some I think are calling it a masterpiece, I think it’s a rough diamond.
It begins with your character face planted in the ground, asleep, upon waking up and exploring you come across with a body impaled with a sword, that where you get your weapon, then the ghost of the corpse appears and tell you to go into this point mark on your map, so you do, in the way you meet the Gardener he show you how to plant seeds, you take a seed and planted on the visually glowing place in the floor, from there a plant will emerge and drop a fruit, onwards you meet Qualia and get a thingy that allows you to double jump, a Thought Extractor, you fight an boss and then you reach the point where the ghost tell to go, there is a monk sleeping a pod there, so you kill him and receives and Upgrade for the extractor, it’s something that doesn’t not work, yet, forward you find the Ultros Demon, you pulled inside of it and then something happens and you are back where you started face planted in the ground, asleep.
There are more of these monks spread around this place, the ghost tells you that this place is a spaceship, the Sarcophagus, and these monks are keeping the ship frozen in time with their sleep mantra so if you wanna escape you have to kill then all, but first you need to get your Extractor back, going all the way back to where the demon is, the way now is blocked by a thorny plant, doubling back you find that the plant Gardener plant early now is fully grow, creating a platform at its top so you can use to explore the area above.
That’s pretty much how the game goes, you explore a new area, kill the monk of the area and get an upgrade of the extractor that allows to explore the next area, such things as Cutting saw to cut those thorny plants and others as well, a digger to pulled up seed of the ground, a jetpack that allow a little bit flight when absorbs energy from sad mushroom or mostly the water that is in the ship. Then you end up back at the Ultros demon and send back to the start. That’s the gameplay cycle of Ultros.

The main gameplay element here are the plants and seed that you find around the ship, each one of these have a different utility and a different fruit of course, mostly you will use the seed that you found in the specific area to solve the puzzles throw at you, but of course you need to use it in other places to reach secrets and such and such, as mention the plants also grow, that happens after each cycle, mostly they just extend themself, which is not incredibly useful in most cases outside being able to reach a new place, their usefulness comes in place later through the game, mostly in the post game.
The fruit that you get from these plants not only provide health, but also nutrients, and what are does, these is what you spend to get new abilities, you have an ability tree that is available in these sleeping pods you use to save the game, you have four types of nutrients and each fruit does provide more to some than other naturally, enemies also provide a source of nutrient, what is left of then, that’s when combat come is place, depending on the execution of the fight you will receive a piece of meat of good quality or inferior, to get good quality meat you need to kill a enemy without using the same move twice, so getting more abilities will improve in that.

Each cycle removes all the abilities that you gain and also the seed and meat that you got in the previous cycle, nothing can be done to regain does items, but abilities have a different mechanic, trough the ship you find these items that allow to lock in place a ability unlocked from the tree, so when next cycle come that ability will still there, but that does that not make liberating other even if you don’t have said item, upon liberation an ability in one cycle the next one it will require less the nutrients need to be unlocked again.
Most of the abilities that you can unlock have a superfluous influence in the gameplay really, you can get a wall jump that is barely functional and need it in the game, there is a higher jump that you can unlock that is very good to get to some platforms that are just really badly placed actually. Another Flaw is the charge attack, which is badly utilized to the point of forgetting it exists, in the early game there are some enemies with a shield that can be broken with the charge attack, but later on that machinic is just gone, poorly implemented.
Another flaw of the game it is story, that is just, confusing, Ultros takes the same approach of the ludonarrative of the souls games, letting scenery and items descriptions tell flints of it’s story and them you can figure it out later, or just watch a youtube video !! The problem is that much like Blaphemous, I didn’t get it ! I have a faint idea of the overall story, but really the whole escapes me.

It’s major draw of course is the visual, which are nothing to sneeze at, having every area look unique in it’s own, the first place you explore of the ship it almost look like a temple, well it's a called a temple as well, the scenery and music mesh to other form given place to awe looking vistas.
Having completed the game, the major challenge is to get the secret ending, which involves getting all the monk pods connected into the Living Network, a gameplay mechanic that comes places in the middle of the game, that you can use to unlock the terminal statues that are around the ship. Getting all of those pods connected is no easy task, you can take the network though the ship using the flowers that sprout from the plants you planted around the ship, but you need to be creative with that, or just watch a youtube video like I did !!! Even so, extending those and finding all the other collectibles is no easy feat.
I could ramble much more about it, like that there is a way to peacefully deal with each boss in the game, but this rambling is going on for too long. Ultros is great even if it’s a little flaw in some aspects.

Thess vs The Shopping
Things I picked up today:
Antihistamines (still waiting for it to kick in)
Mallet-meds (fucking fibro)
Regular pain meds (see above)
Antacid tablets (symptomatic hiatus hernia that it's easier to just medicate than repair)
Feather duster (for getting the cobwebs out of the upper corners and the dust off the extractor fan in the bathroom)
Carpet and upholstery freshener (mostly for the bathroom because WHO THE FUCK CARPETS A BATHROOM?!? plus the cold tap on the bath leaks if I turn the cold up too high so there's a damp carpet smell and things need freshening)
Fruit (apples and grapes, 2 for £3 - I remember when those used to be 3 for 2 at that grocery store, and it wasn't that long ago. Brexit has fucked us)
Meat (well, prawns and salmon, plus some pork loin steaks, 3 for £10, a bit of a splurge but a good bargain because pork's another thing that got waaaaaaay more expensive post Brexit)
Rice (microwaveable, for a treat, and also because there was a bit of an overflow issue with my homemade sticky rice yesterday and it involved having to scrub starchy water with additional hard water issue off my stupid glass-topped induction stove and I don't feel like doing that again)
Gluten-free chicken nuggets (because I tried making my own chicken katsu for a late dinner last night and noooooope can't be having with that today but I do have leftover Japanese curry and I want katsu-equivalent to eat it with before it goes bad)
Treats (500ml bottle cola + peanut butter cups)
I also took out the trash on my way out, and dusted the ceiling corners and bathroom extractor fan when I got home and had put everything away.
Then I freed myself from the tyranny of clothes, snuggled into my new nightshirt, and am now just sitting and waiting for both the regular analgesics and the antihistamine to kick in so I can play video games that require some actual precision.
I devoured the peanut butter cups immediately but my cookie tin is full of fancy fudge I ordered on the recommendation of a Facebook friend, so I'm good for treats.
That's the thing about being a motherfucking adult - everything in moderation. Even being a motherfucking adult needs to happen in moderation, and occasionally offset by "FUN TIME NOW". Or at least "rest time now".

I love your c.ai boys. So I tried the Oppenheimer/student one and bless him he got me in his office and proceeded to persuade me to help me with his *research* while breathing heavily and staring intensely at me to the point I was vaguely considering offering him and inhaler or a paper bag or something.
Now I’m trying to save Robert Fischer from extractors but he’s run off and left me in limbo and now I’m in a room in a psychiatric ward with fucking Miles telling me that Robert’s secret is the murder of his father . . . And maybe his mother. But he didn’t do it. And he keeps holding my hand. Awesome.
What I’m trying to say is I’m having such a good time with these and it’s saved my miserable fucking week. You absolute angel. Also, your writing is dope even if it makes me cry sometimes.
Brooo why did the bot do the exact same thing for me. Like yesss let me help you with your research, but why is the same plot every time?? 🤨 and yeah, he needs an inhaler, looks like he’s gonna pass out from existentialism
Robert left you in limbo, that’s low key funny. That storyline is so interesting, keep me updated—like murder?? You have a whole mystery going on.
Currently, I’m making Robert some pasta in our safe house and he was like “I can show you how much I appreciate what you’re doing for me 😏 I want you to know how much you mean to me 😩” fucking slut honestly, but I had to keep it professional for slow burn
He also did the dishes. You see, I’m training him. It’s a slow but fruitful process from rich brat to househusband.
Also thank you for your compliments. I’m glad you like my writing so much 💕 I hope the rest of your week goes wonderful!!

SHADOWS OF SORCERY | Part 16 | “Shadow of Threats” | 1,731 words
Content Warning: Violence, blood
Caution tape covered the vending machine under the school's dark stairwell. Bright films of purple light closed off that section of the building, sealed by dreamer magic that only the teachers could unlock.
The teachers tried to reopen the portal, but nothing happened. The seal was gone. They held the dagger to the right side of the vending machine like Imogene instructed, but it was too late. The portal had probably been destroyed.
Within the next hour, Imogene sat in Dean Mora's office running through what had happened. All the while her attacker's dagger sat on the dean's desk. Sealed inside of a box of purple light. The silver weapon glowed bright around the edges, mesmerizing Imogene as she went on; fascinated at how long the dagger was keeping its form.
"I had to use one of the magic cores to escape…” Imogene said, “because my casting magic was too weak to break the cuffs.”
“So you have two magic cores right now?”
Imogene nodded. It was generally illegal to keep two sorcerer cores.
“I’ll schedule an appointment for the regional extractor to come and take the other one.” Dean Mora said. “But in the meantime, just get some rest and let me know if you remember anything else.”
She let Imogene go and Imogene left the room with her friends—Elora, Charlotte, and Jaelin. Once they were a few steps away from the door, Jaelin piped up first:
“Why did you get so nervous when she said she’d make an appointment for you?” he asked.
Imogene’s heart stopped at the question. She wasn’t good at this on-the-spot stuff.
“Because!” Imogene’s face heated. “It’s a phasing ability, so what if his hand gets stuck in my body?”
“Eugh.” Jaelin shuddered at the thought.
“I’m pretty sure it’s never happened…” Charlotte said, not realizing how her uncertainty sounded.
“Pretty sure?!” Imogene said.
“I’ll go with you.” Elora said quietly. Knowing that this was her fault that Imogene ended up like this. No one would have known about Imogene’s ability if she hadn’t followed her here to the academy.
The rest of the exams had been canceled for the day while the teachers looked for the student who attacked Imogene. They figured out his name was Devin Sage. But he was nowhere to be found. So they modified the school's seal system to lock him out.
Imogene sat on her bed now, telling Elora the full story—the bits she had left out at the dean’s office.
"He knew all about you, Elora. He talked about Kaden not remembering anything about you… and having an extractor. He said he might just extract my magic."
Elora crossed her arms as she took in the information. This only confirmed that she couldn't trust any extractors right now.
"Maybe Kaden remembers something about him." Elora pushed herself up from the chair at Imogene's desk. "I'll make him tell me."
"Wait!" Imogene shot up from her seat and took Elora's arm. "Don't use your ability. I can just read him. We can scope him out tomorrow. Right now would be too suspicious."
Elora glanced back at her and exhaled.
"Okay."
The next morning, Imogene and Elora scoped out the different dining halls on campus and walked past the entrances—peeking in. Elora and Imogene stopped and leaned on opposite sides of the archway at one place, just standing around. There weren't many people there. Most of the tables were empty.
I don't think he's here, Elora thought.
Imogene heard her and they almost went to leave when Elora caught Kaden passing by them. He shot Elora a weird look, seeing the swarm of firelights taking up all that space around her. Elora froze, wondering if he suddenly remembered her, but he simply kept walking.
Damn, what a freak, he thought.
Imogene made a slight offended face (for both Elora and the firelights) and then signaled for Elora to follow her. They went to one of the buffet server counters and got in line. They scooped eggs onto their plates, grabbed some toast, and picked at different fruits while they waited for Kaden to sit down somewhere.
He sat down at one of the regular tables in the middle of the dining area. So Elora and Imogene sat down at one of the booths off to the side and glanced over discreetly.
He had set his keys down on the table, his student card and charm linked to it, and he started to eat while staring at it. Seeming to expect a message.
Why isn't he responding? Kaden thought to himself. Where is he?
Imogene could sense exactly who he meant too: Devin Sage. The student who had disappeared as soon as the teachers went looking for him.
"Hmm." Kaden voiced his impatience low in his throat.
You were supposed to give back my magic core. My exam is coming up today… What the hell am I supposed to do now?
Imogene's pupils shrank at the revelation. Then she glanced out carefully, making sure he wasn't looking, and scanned his body for a magic core. Her magic core sight vision focused into clarity—showing everyone else's purple light emanating from the center of their chest, all except for his.
Imogene made a teeth-gritting face, feeling a little sorry for him. He had no magic at all. She sensed that they had taken it from him to keep him in line. They were using it to blackmail him.
Kaden glanced around the dining hall, scanning around—suddenly paranoid. If they had cut off contact with him, maybe he was next one on their kill list. But anyone in the room could have been the extractor.
Imogene got a sense of a face from the depths of his thoughts. It was Dean Mora. Except… it wasn't Dean Mora.
Imogene looked back at Elora uneasily, unable to say anything just yet. She waited until they were back at the dorms to talk. Imogene went right to her room's bright white and yellow sunflower curtains (that she had swapped out with the school's generic blinds) and glanced outside before wringing them closed.
"They're a shapeshifter…" Imogene whispered. "The extractor has been taking the form of the teachers and staff to get around campus without getting caught."
"A shapeshifter…" Elora let her thoughts wander at the implications. It would be very hard to pin down their true identity, let alone link them to their crimes.
"He took Kaden's magic too. He didn't remember you… but he remembers agreeing to help the extractor in exchange for a different magic core."
"What did he want?"
"I don't know, but his match is today. And he doesn't have any magic."
"Serves him right for trying to kill me…" Elora said.
Imogene didn't say anything at first.
"Should we go watch it?"
They were required to watch at least three exams a day, so Jaelin and Charlotte didn't think anything of it when they invited them to check out the matches after lunchtime. They tagged along to watch with them.
Jaelin sat there, getting a headache and wrinkling his forehead as he watched Kaden entering the ring.
"God, he's really nervous. I can feel it all the way up here. I don't understand why he's so nervous… he's really good at developer magic." Jaelin said.
Elora and Imogene both kept their lips sealed. They just watched as the teachers announced Kaden Brush's name. Soon, the buzzer sounded and it had begun.
Kaden only made half a step back before his opponent shot him down. The dagger shot through him like an arrow at bullet speed, flying out behind him as he fell backwards in shock. It was a serious hit.
Eliciting the loudest collective gasp from the audience.
Kaden hit the floor and his opponent dropped their defense shield, dropping their jaw at the effect their weapon had on him. It had cut straight through him like butter. Developer magic was made of pure energy—and sorcerers emanated pure energy from their magic cores; so they usually absorbed some of the force of impact.
But Kaden didn't have any core magic.
The teachers ran out to the ring and went to his aid immediately. He'd been shot straight through the stomach. Their healing power had little effect though, so one of the professors went across the arena to open the healing room. The teacher put his hand to the purple seal and then froze at the sight of the empty pedestal inside.
"The luminess core is gone!"
A twinge of horror flashed through Elora's heart. The school’s healing core was missing? There was no way that this hadn't been planned. It was intentional.
They wanted Kaden dead.
And while Elora thought that Kaden might have deserved it, she felt her head turning slowly toward Charlotte—the best healer in the whole school. If he died, she wouldn't have any more leads to go off of.
Charlotte traded looks with her. She understood. She gulped and rushed out of her seat and ran to the stairs, getting down to the ground floor as fast as she could. She was breathing hard as she got to the film of purple light and then she yelled out to the teachers to convince them to let her through.
"I can heal him!"
They agreed and let her into the arena. Once Charlotte set her hand on Kaden's shoulder, he gasped at the sudden rush of vitality flooding his chest. Kaden breathed hysterically as he lay there, coming to grips with the traumatic injury as his wound closed slowly but surely in Charlotte's care.
Exams were, again, canceled for the rest of the day. The school went on high alert—investigating the incident. Kaden told the Dean that he didn't know his magic core had even been taken.
Elora stared at the sunflower curtains in Imogene's room as she recollected the day's events, along with yesterday's: Imogene lying in a pool of blood in a dark hallway by the vending machine. The imagery of that deep red puddle still haunted her.
"I have to use my ability on him."
Imogene's glasses rolled down her nose a little as she rolled out a sunflower patterned sleeping bag. Hearing Elora's comment, she looked up and pushed her glasses back up her nose. She knew how Elora felt about using her mind control ability.
Except this time, Imogene didn't try to sway her.

Melonade Seeds: A Flavorful Fusion of Citrus and Power
Melonade seeds have gained significant popularity among cannabis enthusiasts for their vibrant terpene profile, high THC potential, and energizing effects. As demand for fruity strains continues to rise, growers and consumers alike are turning their attention to this unique cultivar. Whether you're a home grower looking for standout genetics or a connoisseur searching for flavorful highs, melonade seeds are worth exploring.

What Are Melonade Seeds?
Melonade seeds produce a sativa-dominant hybrid strain that is widely celebrated for its delicious blend of citrus and melon flavors. A cross between Watermelon Zkittlez and Lemon Tree, this strain showcases some of the most sought-after traits in modern cannabis genetics—bold flavors, resin-heavy buds, and powerful psychoactive effects.
When grown correctly, melonade seeds yield frosty, colorful nugs with a complex aroma reminiscent of fresh lemons, cantaloupe, and sugary candy. With THC levels often exceeding 25%, Melonade is not just flavorful but also potent, making it ideal for experienced users looking for an uplifting and euphoric experience.
Genetics and Lineage
The unique terpene and cannabinoid profile of melonade seeds is no accident. The parental strains—Watermelon Zkittlez and Lemon Tree—are known for their intense fruit-forward notes and balanced effects. Watermelon Zkittlez contributes sweetness and body relaxation, while Lemon Tree provides a zesty citrus punch and a cerebral high.
This pairing makes melonade seeds highly desirable among breeders and cultivators aiming for boutique-level strains with mass appeal. Whether you're cultivating indoors or outdoors, this hybrid displays vigorous growth and dense trichome production, making it a favorite for hash makers and extractors.
Growing Melonade Seeds: What to Expect
Cultivating melonade seeds is relatively straightforward for those with basic growing experience. The plants tend to stretch moderately during the flowering stage, so adequate space and training methods like SCROG (Screen of Green) or LST (Low Stress Training) are recommended to maximize yields.
Ideal Growing Conditions:
Flowering Time: 8–10 weeks
Indoor Yield: Up to 500g/m²
Outdoor Yield: 600–700g per plant
Climate: Best suited for Mediterranean and temperate zones
Plant Size: Medium to tall
Preferred Lighting: Full-spectrum LED or natural sunlight
Melonade seeds produce plants that are resilient against common pests and molds, but proper airflow and humidity control are essential. The dense buds can be susceptible to mold in high-humidity environments, so keeping conditions dry during late flowering is crucial.
Terpene Profile and Aroma
One of the standout features of melonade seeds is the intense aroma and flavor that the strain develops. Dominant terpenes include:
Limonene: Known for its uplifting citrus scent and mood-boosting properties.
Myrcene: Adds an earthy undertone and promotes relaxation.
Caryophyllene: Offers spicy notes and anti-inflammatory benefits.
Together, these terpenes create a symphony of flavor and aroma that hits you with sweet melon upfront, followed by tangy lemon zest and a subtle herbal finish.
Effects and Medical Benefits
Consumers of melonade often describe the high as euphoric, uplifting, and energizing, making it an excellent choice for daytime use. The initial cerebral buzz transitions into a light body relaxation, perfect for social events, creative pursuits, or outdoor adventures.
Reported Effects:
Uplifted mood
Increased focus
Light body relaxation
Creative stimulation
Motivation boost
Potential Medical Uses:
Depression
Fatigue
Anxiety
Mild pain relief
ADHD
Because of its high THC levels and energizing effects, melonade seeds are not typically recommended for individuals with low tolerance or those prone to anxiety.
Melonade Seeds vs. Other Fruity Strains
Compared to other fruit-forward strains like Mimosa, Tangie, or Strawberry Cough, melonade stands out for its unique blend of melon and lemon flavors. While Mimosa and Tangie lean heavily into the citrus spectrum, melonade seeds offer a more balanced and complex profile with layered sweetness and zesty tang.
Additionally, the high resin production of melonade seeds makes them more suitable for concentrates and extractions compared to some lighter-yielding fruity strains.
Where to Buy Melonade Seeds
Due to increasing demand, melonade seeds are now available through several reputable seed banks and dispensaries. Look for breeders offering feminized melonade seeds to ensure a consistent crop of bud-producing plants. Trusted online retailers also provide detailed growing guides, customer reviews, and shipping to most legal regions.
Before purchasing, verify the breeder’s reputation and check the seed’s genetic stability. High-quality melonade seeds should display uniform growth, terpene consistency, and strong vigor during the vegetative and flowering stages.
Tips for Maximizing Flavor and Potency
To bring out the best in your melonade seeds, follow these cultivation and harvesting tips:
Use organic nutrients to enhance terpene expression.
Flush the plants two weeks before harvest for a cleaner taste.
Harvest at peak trichome ripeness—look for milky white heads with some amber.
Dry and cure properly, maintaining a 60-65% humidity environment during the curing phase to preserve aroma and potency.
Proper post-harvest handling can make or break the flavor profile of melonade, so don't skip these essential steps.
Final Thoughts
Melonade seeds are a top-tier option for growers and users seeking a flavorful, high-potency strain with a dynamic terpene profile. From its impressive lineage to its vibrant effects and growth characteristics, melonade offers a premium cannabis experience that stands out in today's market.
Whether you’re cultivating for personal use, commercial growth, or extraction purposes, melonade seeds provide a rewarding journey from seed to harvest. With proper care and attention, this fruity hybrid will deliver buds bursting with flavor, potency, and aesthetic appeal.

Juicer Market: Global Industry Analysis and Forecast (2025-2032)
A juicer, also known as a juice extractor, is a tool used to extract juice from fruits, herbs, leafy greens, and other types of vegetables in a process called juicing. It crushes, grinds, and/or squeezes the juice out of the pulp. A juicer clarifies the juice through a screening mesh to remove the pulp, unlike a blender where the output contains both the liquids and solids of the processed fruit or vegetable.
