This hockey timekeeper was not cleaning up that mess. The Byram Hills equipment littered the ice after the regional championship victory over Saint Lawrence at Brewster 3/2. The goal with 3 1/2 minutes left in regulation propelled the fteam to the state championship round in Buffalo next weekend. Great view of the revelry from the booth next to the rink.

"You get a job offer with some basic information that sounds very interesting, and there is a link where they say that if I click, I'll see a presentation with details of the organisation and the job role," says Jedrzej Pyzik, a recruitment consultant at financial recruitment firm fTeam.
"Then, after clicking through the link, there's usually some kind of landing page where they require you to download something and log in and give personal details - this is the most common one I've come across."
That personal data can then be used to steal the jobseeker's identity, or even to open bank accounts or apply for credit in their name.
Another frequent scam is to ask "successful" job applicants to hand over money upfront, with a promise that they'll be paid back - commonly known as an advance fee scam. They may be told that this will cover training, Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks into their criminal record, travel fees such as visas, or equipment needed for the job. However, if a cheque ever arrives to cover these costs, it bounces."

Top Seed Funky Trunks F-Teamers Are Ready to Race at Upcoming Age Nationals
Tumblr media
Australian Age group swimmers are getting excited to pack their bags and head for the sunny Gold Coast for the 2021 Australian Age Swimming Championships that will run from April 5-12.
Due to the reduced number of meets across the country, Swimming Australia has revised the qualifying times to allow more swimmers the opportunity to qualify for Nationals. The program also looks a bit bigger with the addition of the Age and Open Multi-Class Nationals that will run at the start of the meet. This will be a great chance for our para swimmers to get more quality racing before the Paralympic trials in Adelaide in June.  There was big news this month with the announcement that Australia will not be sending a team to the FINA World Junior Championships in Kazan in August nor the World Universiade Games in Chengdu, China. Instead, the country’s best young swimmers will be racing at these Age Nationals in hopes of being selected for the Australian team that will race together in the green and gold at a team-based event in August.
Our F-Teamers are ready to race. Keep your eyes out for these young guns:

Reblog to this post about fandom racism (the message was really important so I didn’t want to directly reblog with additional comment about specific fandom) about how fandom racism isn’t just about disliking poc but having double standards where you’re able to care, forgive, and sympathize with white characters more than poc. Also, about how characters of colour with visible flaws are hated more.
Kind of like how both Daisy and May were shit on after s5 for wanting to save Coulson, but the fact that white fitzsimmons repeatedly risked the lives of the team and the world for each other and actually are the reason half the bad shit happened to the team since s3, is ignored.
Only when the characters of colour on the show mess up the same way the white characters do (and usually actually not even as bad) are those actions suddenly seen as irredeemable, but when the white characters do it, we have to be understanding every time.
And let’s not stray away from s5. Fitz torturing Daisy and programming for mack to be shot for the greater good is a-okay or you know ‘not okay but understandable’ but daisy locking him up and mack saying his actions are messed up is the actual worst.
Also notice how the white villains on the show tend to be the most popular and liked? And their backgrounds tend to be focused on and sympathized with? (ward, aida, ruby) Despite villains of colour like Jiaying and Kaya and Andrew (who aren’t even true villains) barely ever being talked about?
Or let’s not forget how much shit the character of Trip at the time got from both fitzsimmons fans and ward fans because ‘oh no they’re replacing ward with a black man” and “how dare people ship simmons with a black man who isn’t fitz”
Or what about Mack? He got so much more hate for being part of the real shield then bobbi did.
lmao at ‘Daisy is so mean to Deke’ when...he literally sold her to SLAVERY and  a breeding program.
Daisy is selfish for ‘leaving the team’ to deal with grief and because she’s suffering but let’s ignore when Fitz and Jemma decided to live a life for like 4 years while their fteam all got killed.
Like this fandom has always been lowkey racist and anti-black too

British Swimming Selection Trials 2021
Tumblr media
A huge congratulations to all the F-Teamers who competed at the British Swimming Selection Trials. Despite the challenges they have faced this past year, with the lack of pool time and endless zoom sessions, the competition was filled with countless PBs, medals and qualification times.
Young jet Jacob Whittle was off to a cracking start in the 100m Freestyle. The 16-year-old not only broke his PB in the heats, but he did again in the final. He swam a blistering time of 48.76 making him the fastest 16-year-old in British history and placing him 4th in a hot field. The swimming world was quick to compare his times to those of swimming superstars Caleb Dressel (49.28) and Kyle Chalmers (48.69) when they were the same age. This puts him in strong contention for the Team GB 4x100m men's freestyle relay. A bronze medal followed for Jacob in the 50m Freestyle with another PB in the heats (22.40). He swam a 22.55 in the final, finishing behind Benjamin Proud (21.42) and Yusuke Legard (22.10). Jacob finished the last day of the Trials with a PB in the heats of the 200m Freestyle. Jacob Swam an impressive 1:49.12 only just missing out on making the final, where Duncan Scott set a new British National record with a time of 1:44.47.
Tumblr media
Jakob Goodman was flying from day 1, swimming a PB in the 400m Freestyle, the 200m Butterfly (2:00.86) and the 100m Butterfly. After 3 days of competing, he narrowly missed out, by just 0.1 seconds, on making it four PBs with his swim in the 200m Freestyle on the final day.
Well done to Scott Gibson who got a PB in the 100m Backstroke and to Mark Ford who also competed in the 100m and 200m Backstroke events and set a new PB in the 100m Butterfly.
The athletes that have been nominated for Team GB, the European Championships and the European Junior Championships will be announced on April the 21st so be sure to stay tuned.
