Yeah I'm like 6 months late, idk, blame Zelda, or life itself, idk. Better late than never I guess. This album is about a girl and her cat. Or maybe it's the other way around? For a two-parter though there's really not much story going on in this one it's pretty much all setup for the next one so don't expect an abrupt cliffhanger or anything like that. I actually wasn't impressed at first but now I find myself constantly humming every other track throughout the day, they're all pretty good.

On the production side Rena is once again absent from this album so I'm actually rather worried for her at this point, I really hope she's just happy doing something else and they're saying health issues only as a façade. The new vocalist Ruru is pretty good though, Luna and Risa Yuzuki are also really good as usual. By the way I had the chance to see their last live concert, the one they streamed, they really looked amazing on that, Yuzuki Risa looked very cute and Luna was perfection just as I expected. I don't like tl notes but I guess it's worth adding: 道黒 (doukoku) isn't a real word, it's a compound made from Road (道) and Black (黒), and it's read like 慟哭 (doukoku, lament). Also the song 妖瞳の悪魔, the 悪魔 (demon) shows くろねこ(black cat) as the reading, basically saying that the cat is a demon.

We’re looking at yet another not so well-known UTAU today!

This is Kaylin Futekiou, an overseas female vocal voiced and managed by Keiisnotthattired. In terms of quality, her voice is actually quite solid. The mix isn’t perfect in this sample, but you should be able to hear that she actually has a very nice voice that lands itself somewhere within the midrange! She is a VCV female voicebank. She also has English VCCV capabilities and has her own original song with it!

Finally, I get to write another summary for the next part! Kaylin Futekiou is an ambivert, being a balance of both extroverted and introverted. She is outgoing and energetic, but needs time to herself to recharge at times. She also has Maladaptive Daydreaming.

Sadly, the last we’ve seemed to seen of her was around two years ago. Hopefully her creator’s doing fine out there. The creator actually had a story revolving Kaylin and a few others, which were to be told through original songs.

19. Are they honest to themselves, or do they ignore feeling hurt or sad?

sanagi is very honest with herself, no matter the emotion. futeki’s a bit prideful so she tries to suck it up but often times those emotions end up overwhelming her. 

gakuto is the king of ignoring his feelings. he’s been trying to fix it for years by the time sanagi and futeki are born but he’s internalized a lot of self hate and doesn’t really allow himself to express vulnerable bad feelings like sadness

6. How easily do they cry? Is it different alone vs in public?

futeki is a big ol crybaby, and once she starts she can’t stop. it’s worse in public because she gets embarrassed and it kind of makes her cry harder…. sanagi tries to stay calm and generally holds back tears in public but when she’s alone she lets it happen no problem, even if it’s over something that doesn’t make her sad

gakuto. again. geez. you’d have to get him really really upset to make him cry, and even then, there’s almost no chance of him doing it in public. even when he’s alone, he rarely emotes that much. but when he does cry, it starts subtly and it builds up til he’s a huge sobbing mess……….poor guy
