A FUNNY IDEA: future trio in a conversation about regret, and then at one point grovyle says smth along the lines of “you can’t change the past” then celebi and dusknoir are looking at him like ❓🤨❓

Second Reality by Future Crew (1993)

Starting off with an (overrated) MS-DOS classic. Achieved 1st place in the Assembly 1993 demo compo.

First demoscene post, since I felt like sharing one of my interests to you all! :D Also, I sort of manage the demo preservation site Demozoo (not a mod here, but pretty active), so I think I could let it slide. :P

When you’re a 29-year-old father to two teenagers, a cat-man, and a murder droid, on the run from the fascist regime controlling the galaxy, and you just said “I love you” to your situationship and all she said was “thanks”.

After making this post, I noticed that there's another moment where Aaravos soothes Leola's dissociation/hand flapping.

It's before the Trial even starts! It was very blink and miss. I even had to watch at half speed her just to see everything he does. The first several times I watched this scene, I wondered why he had to walk around the disk to see her, and then I realized it was because she was dissociating already! She doesn't respond to his arrival, even though she's aware - she's just frozen. (Shout to his very visible shock and worry)

And just like I mentioned in the first post, he gets down to her level and touches her shoulder.

and in this case, runs his hand own her arm, and gently squeezes her hand once with two fingers, and when he knows she's alert, he puts his hand on her shoulder again. (I love his expression in these frames too)

He has this down to an art. He has done this enough that it works even in this one exceptionally frightening situation for her.

Something very, very interesting is that Aaravos doesn't speak to her in this moment (they don't even talk until the execution), because he knows his daughter well enough that not going to be able to answer him in this moment.

In your Spitfire AU, since Zuko is looking after Lu Ten II, what happened to Ursa?

Zuko is slightly older in the Spitfire AU. He was banished at fifteen, his head a little clearer and denial a little weaker than in canon. After his first look through the Air Temples, Zuko decides that if he can't find a myth, he might as well search for the next best thing.

Finding Ursa isn't easy, but in time he makes it to a secluded house in a near-forgotten part of the world. His mom is there, older and stronger and alive.

But she isn't alone.

And Zuko, as it turns out, didn't keep the best company during his search.

When Ursa is discovered and her secrets are laid bare for assassins (for Ozai) to find, she begs Zuko to take his little brother and run. She'll do anything it takes to protect her children, even if that means leaving them behind to keep a target off their back. Ursa diverts attention from them and allows Lu Ten's ancestry to be kept a secret. She orders Zuko not to follow her again, and disappears.

Zuko is left with a little three-year-old brother to raise and a mother he cannot hold onto.

I'm gonna lore dump about it real quick bc I have ideas and if I do not say them I will forget them.

Martin is 9 years older than Chris. Their parents died when Martin was 17 and Chris was 8. Martin got emancipated and was able to take custody of Chris but like all government branches... it's a really long process that basically drags out for Chris' entire childhood. Martin graduates high school early, gets a full-ride scholarship at Duke University while maintaining various jobs and internships. Sounds like a lot? yEAH bro is TIRED. But he's willing to put in the work if it means a better future for his bro.

Of course eventually he becomes apart of the Tortuga crew and things get a lot easier for them both. CPS is still riding his ass about taking Chris with him on these cross-country expeditions but he's been dealing with them for so long at that point it's not as scary.

I can barely begin to express how much the course of my life has been altered because of a 40 minute highlight video done by @jelloapocalypse and friends riffing over a 20 year old sky pirate game.

I made an off-handed comment after watching it together with two of my longtime friends, about how much I wish I had what Vyrsa had, and one of those friends STRAIGHT-UP TELLS ME that her and her wife have been crushing on me for a while.

The feeling was mutual, though I'd been of course hesitant to even hint at it.

Anyway now a few months later, we're a thruple, and we decided to honor the genesis of our relationship by cosplaying as the trio that made it a reality for my 30th birthday!

PinkCatNinja, me (CatComixzStudios), and ArtieStokes as Aika, Vyce Vyrsa, and Fina respectively, from SKIES OF ARCADIA!

Things that would make me completely forgive Her Interactive for every mistake they’ve ever made:

- bringing back Maya Nguyen

- Ned as an in-person character

- Poppy Dada in person and it’s like a modern art museum or gallery game

- adding a mother character who is actually fully fleshed out as a person (I am grateful for Clara and Takae, but we’ve had plenty of deep, complex dads in the drewniverse, it’s time for MOMS, they need to stop killing the moms)

- Romania mystery where we investigate supposed VAMPIRE ATTACKS!! (Please please please, I need Buffy Drew on the case ASAP)

- a game where you have to be a camp counselor and watch children but also protect them from the axe murderer in the woods (I mean, they already referenced Friday the 13th, why not just GO FOR IT) (puzzles included CORRALLING THE CHILDREN)

- more stained glass, we used it get it ALL THE TIME, now I have to beg for it

- bring in Ned’s friends, Burt and Dave!! (His college shenanigans with the chickens were hilarious! Now more plz) (just more Ned, but like, the fun not just a pretty voice Ned)
