I admitted that I hadn't thought that what I had said the day before could've sounded how it did to her because to me T's insistence was a little be offensive to me as I felt like he was just embarrassed by what I had or didn't have since I only have two bags and the bag I use for going out I got for 10 bucks while his friends GF's have brand bags and such but now I think its because T felt like he needed to buy me one since it seems like something they have to do for their wives/ Fiancee's to prove that they're good husbands and can provide, and T felt like he was failing that because we have been married for three years now and I am still to "receive one" and he was probably feeling pressured by his mom as well, I love her and I know she raised him to be a good husband but like....how can a bag determine that? How are they ignoring all the other none material things T does that make him a great husband? Like pushing me to do better, supporting me and encouraging me to go to school instead And even the material ones like always being willing to send money to help my family or buying all the air tickets for my family to come (but they couldn't cause corona) how is a bag more telling than these things??

I come from a family where my grandfather is the ultimate example of a good husband that provides, he was dirt poor sleeping on the floor of his little cafeteria shop before marrying my grandmother and building a house for them with his bare hands, then he worked his ass off after immigrating to u.s despite poor conditions and treatment at a metal factory plus part-time cleaning offices all to provide for his newborn granddaughter, 15 y/o daughter, 8 y/o daughter and his son he had to leave in Colombia. That's what I want, I want a husband that will work hard for us to live well that will fix things that break around the house and will listen to me talk about, IDK, atla or this cool new fact I learned about sharks, not one that can buy my a 5mil bag I'll probably be too burdened to use. My friend also realized she had done something wrong (not to me to her husband) and we got a new perspective of how some things are.

To clarify I am not judging T's friends gf for expecting these things, she was taught to. Also, I can't say for sure if this is a whole ass Korean culture aspect or just T's circle. I do know that it's a tradition for the husbands family to get the future wife expensive jewelry and how in some dramas you see the groom's friends giving the bride gifts sent to her by the husband and how the wife's family has to give each of her father-in-law's siblings a million won only for them to give 500.000 won back on the wedding day (in our case my father in law paid for it because my parents really can't afford over 5mil especially converted to Colombian peso ) so yeah..

I just learned something new about .. courtship???? Culture here

Also that 11 million won bags exist and that a strap alone can cost 1 mil, rich people..

Stiff me on my bonus? That's going to cost you!

Many many moons ago (1999) I started work as a pub manager for a successful independent pub, decent salary and even better profit related bonus scheme.

The owner had just bought an old bank with a large carpark in an ideal location for a large gastropub just on the outskirts of the town centre. It was in the direct foot path between the train & bus stations and the main bar area so it's footfall would be excellent.

Over the course of the next 12 months I worked excessive hours running the 1 pub whilst helping him design and set up the new pub. It was fun and rewarding both financially and emotionally.

The design of the gastropub was excellent, it was Oriental themed with an open plan kitchen so the customers could see the chefs working and as the owner had an Oriental GF all the chefs were from her extended family (this point is key to the revenge).

We opened with a bang and the place was a roaring success, far busier than we had dared to hope and the initial new opening buzz just never died, we just kept getting busier and busier and I was working 7 days / 80+ hours a week between the 2 pubs, we had to employ a 2nd manager to run the 1st pub and ship even more of her extended family over to work in the kitchen. By the end of the 1st year my bonus was close to double my salary! In fairness to the owner, he worked more than I did and I got on really well with him.

Then he screwed me over...

He married his GF and she and I had never really got on very well but she left me to do my job whilst she mainly looked after the kitchen side of things.

The owner bought a brand new top spec Porsche and the wife got a new top spec Merc ( I bought my self a Suzuki motorbike)

All was going well until it came to my yearly bonus time, I was expecting it to be a lot less than the last year, what with the additional manager and that we were no longer running so short staffed... but it was drastically worse! by my calculations it was almost £15,000 short ( just checked, that's about £25k nowadays).

I of course queried this with the owner, it turned out that the company had bought the Porsche & Merc as company vehicles and that was above the line for my bonus calculation on the pnl, they'd also fudged some major capital investment expenses into the repairs line, also above the profit line...

I was not happy to say the least but since we worked so well together I thought he'd be open to "sorting" it out somehow but his wife stepped in and even went as far as to say if they could have lowered my bonus even more they would have as wasn't worth it!!

My personal life was in tatters and I'd been thinking about moving on anyway, all the money in the world isn't worth it if you work so much you ruin relationships, so I handed in my notice on the spot. This suited the wife perfectly, she made me hand over my keys and said I'd get my pay in lieu of notice, owed holiday pay etc but I wasn't to ever set foot in either of their pubs ever again I was barred for life!

Cue the revenge!!

The problem with treating someone who knows the exact ins and outs of your business with such disregard is that they know all the ways you have been breaking the law!

Those chefs you brought over to work but never bothered to get visas for because it's too much trouble and too expensive? Be a crying shame if someone called immigration to let them know...

Those company vehicles that were never used for company business? Be a crying shame if someone called the tax office to let them know...

That fudging of the pnl to reduce the pre-tax profit? be a crying shame if someone called the tax office with details of what to look for...

Those cash in hand staff you employed so you didn't have to pay NICS? Be a crying shame if someone called the tax office to let them know...

For good measure I also rang the local EHO, I wasn't sure as I didn't deal with the kitchen but I was pretty sure they were breaking some of the hygiene laws ( I knew for a fact COSHH was broken as it was always the cheapest cleaning chemicals she could find so we never had data sheets).

The fall out was epic, it hit the local press and the pub was closed for almost 4 months.

I have no idea how much they got fined but it had to be far more than my bonus would have been!

Hello, and thank you very much for reading and enjoying this interesting blog of mine! :) And my Twitter, too! And thank you for giving me this opportunity to #dommesplain a few things to my kind followers and readers… 

But back to your question, out of the many requests for dating that I get, how do I know which one is sincere with me and worthy?

Well, it is a good question, but I would expand the categories in it further. How do I know those requests are 

sincere, 

realistic, 

acceptable, and 

worthy. 

For better understanding of the selection process, let’s take a closer look at each category individually, and examine them in detail, shall we?

1. Sincerity 

I have this saying, “no one is more sincere than a man firm in his delusions.” This is ever-so-applicable to each and every stranger from the Internet who has ever written to me with an inquiry to date me… And even to some guys making such inquiries after meeting me a few times, here and there. What can I say, I believe that all of them are most sincere in their desires to date me, or someone like me, or the “me” they imagine – and even more sincere in using their offer to date me as a means to avoid paying my session or social fees. Sincerity is not a problem here, Delusion – or lack of realism – is! 

2. Realism

So how do I know when somebody is being realistic? I suppose in the same way you, or anyone else would know. It just requires some common sense. For example, no realistic message has ever started with, or included, the following:

“Hello, Mistress, I am a real no-limits slave. I will do anything you want [except booking a session and actually paying me for my time] but I think pro dommes only do things for money, but I am looking for someone to dominate me for free as part of a FemaleLed relationship” To this particular kind of drivel you can also add things like “…but I am still a virgin”, “…but I am still married” “…but I have never seen a Mistress before” and a plethora of similar verbal identifiers. 

“… I have an excellent life, career and social circle here in the [insert any US city] and am able to provide you with a life in which you wouldn’t have to work.” This particular statement is more common than you think, and is ALWAYS US-based. Somehow they seem to believe that we, here in Europe, suffer greatly from our free health care, non-GM, locally grown wholesome food, the quaint culture and history of our countries, the public transport and rights to privacy protection. And it implies that because the author of it is so “overwhelmingly generous” – with his words – I am going to drop everything: my job, my family, my life, my friends, sell my cats to the Circus, and move to the US, to be his…mail-order pet-bride??? Someone with no job, no independence, no voting rights and with a precarious immigration status. To be bored to injuries, until death do us part? NO THANKS!   

“…I am not rich and do not have a fancy car, a palace for a house and travelling for me more often includes a backpack and a tent – I appreciate simple things in life…” Say no more, bro! I, myself, appreciate finer things in life, the finer the better, and the only way you would see me with a backpack in a national park is if some psycho has killed me, stuffed me into that backpack and is carrying me to bury me in a shallow grave there. I like fancy cars, I like rare timepieces, I enjoy luxury travel, fine dining, fine wine, fine arts… As a matter of fact, I unapologetically love all things fanciful and complicated, and am not looking to change that any time soon.

“…and I probably do not make enough to have you as a GF, but I thought I’d try anyway.” Mate, I wish you didn’t. I hear your pain, I myself do not have enough to buy me a Lamborghini Aventador S. Not even a stinky Murcielago… And every morning I wake up, and I come to terms with this harsh, cruel, unfair reality. But never once have I written to a dealership to try to get one anyway! Luckily, you can still book a session to enjoy me for a limited amount of time, and I can still go to the dealership and stare to my heart’s delight…

“…I do not believe in having to pay to date…” What are you doing writing to me, then??? You might as well try and tell me that you believe Jesus loves me, and that Earth is flat… Keep your beliefs to yourself, mate, no one here has asked to hear them – or I swear to Jesus that loves me I will bring out my pie chart again!

These are some of the most common examples of my dating wannabes, but that list is truly endless and ever-growing. But what would, then, a realistic approach entail? I would say a situational self-evaluation study: what you do, where you live, how much free time and disposable income you have, how much of it are you willing to spend on dating, if we live in different cities how often can you travel, and how often you’d need me to travel, what you’d ideally like to achieve with this relationship, when you’d like it to start, and whether you prefer it as a permanent or a fixed term contract. There, no rocket science, is it?

3. Acceptability

But what, then, would be the acceptable terms for me to favorably consider an offer? I think the main factors would have to be:

geographical compatibility, 

time strain, and 

relationship goals. 

It is not a secret that I am in my mid-30es, so I am old, lazy, and by now I have visited most places I had an interest in. I no longer get excited about having to take a trans-Atlantic flight to see someone for a date because “we are going to see DisneyWorld!!!!!”. I stopped being excited about it some…20 years ago. 

There are only two places in the US I am interested in, one is New England – in autumn or in winter, and another is Portland, OR in spring/summer. Part of my education took place in New England (I do not specify where for privacy reasons, so do not ask), and I have spent some time in Oregon in later years, too, both those are two places very dear to my heart. The rest of the US: seen, done, not much interest to revisit. And very little interest to return to live in the US at this point in my life. 

Same goes for SE Asia and Middle East. Would consider visiting, would not consider moving. Would not consider having to take 4 connecting flights to reach the final destination. Would not consider getting stoned to death for being your house guest. 

If frequent travel is required on my part, then it will have to be somewhere within a 3hr flight radius from Paris. I do have my pet peeve places, i.e. London. If you are someone who has tried to get me to come to London for a tour before, you’d be familiar with my “not enough money in the world to make me suffer through that indignity!” rant. I have lived there for too long, as one can tell, and I only visit when I absolutely must, as in, for legal obligations, deaths or weddings. I am somewhat more ok with Edinburgh.

I do have my “preferred” list, too! This year it features Stockholm (love that northern gem and the Swedish boys!), Zurich, Frankfurt, Vienna, Salzburg, Paris and most of France (once the strikes are over!), and I would love to discover Tunisia, Morocco and Israel (as I have heard very good things), but I am open to suggestions as long as there are direct flights. 

As for time restraints, then really anything above cumulative 2 weeks per month is unreasonable. I want my space, and I want my time. You should want yours! If you want to have an overly-attached live-in GF – look elsewhere. I am all for fun and intense time together inter-twinned with time dedicated solely to work. A “weekend relationship” would work very well for me, for example.

And when it comes to relationship goals, I understand that these change with time. And I think a relationship with me would be good for someone single, successful and busy with his own professional life, who wants to enjoy some time with kinky stimulating company without having to buy into societal pre-sets. However, if the end goal is to get married and have 3 kids – once again, I am not the Droid you are looking for.

I would say I am an ideal life companion for a social renegade and adventurer whose end goal is the same as his intermediate aspirations – joy, stimulating fun and absolution from boredom and trivia. I will be wasted on others… 

4. Worthiness of the Offer. 

And how, then, do I decide if the offer is worth it? Well, this subject is reminiscent of my earlier post, 15. Let Me Draw You A Pie Chart, and the arising Mathematical solutions. As with any relationship, I expect to be better off with it than without it. The offer will have to consider the amount of travel necessary, the cost of it, and the cost of my time. But overall, I would say, for a successful candidate with an interesting offer, the cost of weekend-dating me, per month, for 3 weekends, one of them long, would more or less be the cost of booking a long weekend Private Tour with me at my work rate. Which may seem like a steal and it is certainly a bargain in relative terms, but it is an eye-watering amount of money, for most people, and it is definitely not available to just anyone. 

As the matters stand, tomorrow will be the first time in a year that I have agreed to hear out an offer from an existing client, and I do not know whether or not we will be able to reach a consensus on terms. Alas, such is #DommeLife

of the Fellowship of Friends, Inc.
and Giova.ni Bu.co Re: No Further Legal Representation Dear Board Members and Giova.ni I am not sending this letter because I like writing of these matters or because I want to repeat what has already been stated repeatedly by both Abraham and me. This letter is written because of my professional obligations and my personal obligations to the School. My professional responsibilities require me to send this letter to confirm again that I will provide no further legal services to the Fellowship of Friends, and have stopped working on all ongoing legal matters that I was involved with. This letter also advises you to immediately work with Abraham Goldman and/or other legal counsel to handle the legal work I was involved in and to address other ongoing and/or upcoming legal matters that I will outline in this letter. The recent board activities have been covered in a number of letters and emails by Abraham and me. None of the communications were ever acknowledged or responded to by any board member. As you know, Abraham and I were instructed to stop all legal work. First, a directive was issued on November 3, 2007, via email, on behalf of Et..n Har..s, Chairman of the Board, through R.se Ke.n.dy S.afer Vice Chairman of the Board, without explanation, question, or discussion. My emails and letter of November 6, 2007, about this heavy-handed and improper directive were ignored by all board members. Next, I wrote to Li.da T.li.so who ignored my question about what to do about the ongoing legal work but was ignored. After learning about the secret board meeting and illegal vote that took place on or about November 10, 2007, I talked with Li.da T.li.so the President in person at her office on November 13, 2007. Linda confirmed the secret vote of the Board (although both W.yne Mo.t and Al.n Sc.wa.tzbe.g lied that no other “crisis team” members voted at the secret Board meeting) and Linda instructed me to suspend all my legal work. I confirmed this in a letter dated November 13, 2007 that has also been copied to all of you. There was no response to this letter from anyone. On November 18, 2007, I was voted off the Board of Directors. Now, no longer working as attorney, nor being able to act as a member of the Board, I will be unable to assist the Fellowship with any legal work or offer any oversight. All of this occurred after one week of false and contradictory statements by W.yne Mo.t, Al.n Sc.wa.tzbe.g, Et.an Ha.ris and others about the secret board meeting where this was already decided in advance. Only G.eg Hol.an acknowledged yesterday that the secret Board meeting was improper and that he wished that matters would have been done openly and correctly. The failure by almost all of the Board members to even have the decency or honesty to acknowledge a secret Board meeting was held and a secret vote taken (to vote the lawyers off the Board), without any opportunity to address the issues by the persons involved is below the level of school work for any student, let alone a board member with responsibility for our church. Al.n Sc.warzbe.g refusal to show the minutes of the secret Board meeting, and subsequent refusal to return my many calls and emails, is conduct that is highly irregular for the Secretary of the Corporation and the Board of Directors. To date, I still have not obtained a copy of the “RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS” that I personally saw when both Alan and Wayne in heavy-handed fashion informed Abe and myself, on November 12, 2007, we were voted off the Board. It is my feeling that what occurred over the last three weeks is a combination of crime, gross carelessness and ignorance of almost all Board members. In my opinion, serious crimes have likely been committed and are possibly continuing to be committed by current members on the Board. This should be addressed immediately. As I wrote about in my letter of November 6, 2007, the requirement of legal compliance and checks and balances within our organization needs urgent attention. The Board has been for some time but a passive “rubber-stamp” board without active or meaningful oversight. This almost complete inaction may create the impression of the Fellowship as a criminal organization that is functioning as the later ego of Robert Burton, involved in a conspiracy to engage in financial, tax and immigration fraud, and perhaps other illegal activities and/or tortuous conduct. Responding to a call from Mr.Margalli? this morning. I gave him my impressions of yesterday’s Board meeting. Mr. Margalli? suggested I write a confirming letter and cover the ongoing legal work that you must all appreciate should be addressed immediately. This list does not purport to cover all of the areas that need immediate and significant work, and you should immediately consult with Abraham and all other lawyers for the Fellowship. The legal work I have been involved in covers the following areas: 1. Immigration. Ongoing assessment and evaluations of the needs and requirements of our religious programs/individual’s status and possible need to go back to their country of origin. I will notify Mr. Shusterman of the fact I will be no longer working with him on behalf of the Fellowship. I was also working with a number of individual students who would call with questions in the last months. 2. Financial Compliance. This is critical and should be a top priority. You have knowingly allowed having a system in place where the CFO is made responsible but essentially helpless and without authority. The CFO is not being consulted in important decisions. The Fellowship’s financial activities, in my opinion, could be seen as criminal conspiracy to commit tax fraud and private inurement benefiting Robert and a number of other individuals (including possibly some Board members) and could be considered a fraud on the government. The status as a non profit corporation could well be in serious danger. 3. Investigation/Monitoring of Blog?GF/PR, etc. Several times this year I have written to Youtube or other websites to have offending material taken off line. This has been largely successful. I also have conducted an investigation into aspects of the Blog and some individuals with the aim to allow us to file suit for defamation and/or invasion of privacy if and when appropriate. I have worked on obtaining PR consultations for which then no funding was purportedly available. (Nic.ol.s Spa.ldi.g who was helping in this area, was threatened by Et.an Har.is to stop working with Abraham and myself) This area should be a major concern for the Board which has been almost totally unresponsive. 4. It was our diligent monitoring of the blog that put us on notice that A.af Brave.man’s arranged (by Fellowship officers and/or agents) fraudulent marriage to Elisa.et.a da Ros was being exposed to the world. This finally stimulated action in this area but more is needed. I will no longer monitor the Blogs or any other sites, in any language, and will no longer assist with analysis and efforts to bring these matters into compliance. A lot more needs to be done in this area for many involved. 5. Insurance. We were working on a review of all materials from the Internet and other sources that could constitute a claim (including foreign websites). I wrote about this before as well. Insurance could possibly pay for some of the costs incurred, including legal costs. I will stop all my work on this claim process, including any work on the research into the bad faith claim aspect of the insurance which I wrote about before. TIme may be on the utmost essence. Se my letter of November 6, 2007. 6. Other matters: There are outstanding million dollar judgments from the Ming litigation era that will need to be renewed in the next years, if the Fellowship wants to collect on them. I had this calendared for a review in January 2008, 10 years after the first settlements and judgments were obtained. Given the success we have had collecting from various parties, I would consider this an important item to follow up on. I will no longer take any action in this area either. In short, the overall picture is in my opinion that the Fellowship itself, Robert, and a number of our friends, including several board members and officers, continue to be in potential legal jeopardy and liability. With the information, according to what I gathered from my investigation, shared by certain former members to various agencies, I cannot envision that there will not be an government investigation and/or lawsuit in the planning/preparation stages with possibly serious consequences for the Fellowship, the Board of Directors, Robert and possibly a number of individual students, including possibly individual Board members. A fully professional and active compliance team to put matters straight must be created. This team would need to be working daily, hands on, with the supervision and input from professionals. The existing irregularities cannot be hidden from the people that need to help bring us into compliance. Again, I am no longer acting as the Fellowship’s attorney. Immediate attention is required to the numerous outstanding legal issues facing the Fellowship. You are advised to consult with legal counsel immediately. Thank you for your time and consideration to these important matters. Do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.

my bf’s sister’s boyfriend is one of those guys that seem incredibly likable when you first meet him -- easygoing, quick to laugh, honest and hardworking -- but there’s something about him that rubs me the wrong way. he’s nowhere near as douchey as his and his gf’s other guy friends, and yet, he made a comment about immigrants coming here illegally (that they’re breaking the law and should be punished for it) and i’m SO glad i wasn’t there when he made that comment lmao. but even if he ends up having an open mind and people like my bf and his parents convince him to see things differently, there’s still something about his personality. perhaps it’s just the white privilege. he’s kind of mansplain-y. or maybe it’s just that i know, based on a comment he made, that he thinks people that react to racist/homophobic/etc. comments are being sensitive and have no reason to be offended. i can tell he finds himself to be kind and good despite whatever hardships he came from, but i can also tell that he has not acknowledged his white privilege. so, in short: yikes.
