WELCOME HOME TK FIC LETS GOOOOO

~Wally lends a helping hand to Eddie as he prepares his mail for delivery. But a small discovery makes Eddie a little sidetracked~

“Well, I really can’t thank ya enough for stoppin’ by to help me out, Wally! It sure  woulda been real messy if I’d had to sort through this mail all by m’self!”

Wally looked up from where he’d been placing a brightly colored stamp onto a large pink envelope. He smiled brightly at Eddie as he placed a the envelope in a pile with the others.

“It’s my pleasure! A neighbor is always happy to help another!” He said, his voice calm and airy as usual. It was true, too, Wally was more than happy to lend his friend a helping hand. In truth, he had only dropped in to ask if Eddie had any paper he could spare, but upon seeing how much work the poor mailman was practically smothered in, he opted to stick around. Eddie chuckled warmly at Wally’s response. He gave the shorter puppet a clap on the back as he opened a side closet to look for packaging tape. They worked side by side in silence for a stretch, content enough to just enjoy each others company.    Eddie huffed as he picked up another bulky package. As he set it on a scale to weigh it, an irritated huff sounded behind him that made him pause. He turned, and instantly had to choke back a chuckle. Standing up on his tip toes, Wally was trying to reach another stack of envelopes that were stored on a high shelf. He huffed and stomped his foot on the floor. Cute.

"Heh. Need some help there, bud'?" Eddie asked, walking over to stand next to the short painter. Wally looked up at him, his face adorably pouty. He nodded. "That would be very helpful..." He mumbled. Eddie shook his head and chuckled endearingly.

"Alrighty, c'mere, you!" The mailman said, and just out on instinct he reached put to grip Wally's sides in order to lift him up. But before he had even barely had a chance to get him off the ground, Wally made a strange sort of gasp and jolted away. He wrapped his hands around his midriff, his cheeks now cherry red. Eddie raised an eyebrow. "You could've- ah- you can just hand them to me..!" Wally said, trying to sound casual.

Eddie didn't say anything,instead reaching for the envelopes. But when Wally went to grab them, he jerked them out of reach.

"Hey-!"

"What was that noise ya' made, Walls?"

Wally blinked. He slowly looked up at Eddie. The smile on his face made his breath catch in his throat. He crossed his arms, trying his best to look unbothered. "It was nothing. You just caught me off guard. I startle very easily. Now- please give me the letters?" He asked, hoping Eddie would just drop it. But he just shook his head, taking a step towards Wally.

"No can do, Walls. See, I thinks your fibbin'! Cuz that sure didn't sound like nothin.." He said, crossing his arms. He reached out a finger and poked the smaller puppet in the side. "You ticklish or somethin?"

The way Wally squeaked and jumped away was enough of an answer for Eddie. The grin he wore turned into a full on smile. He reached out to start rapid firing pokes all over the poor painters torso. "You are! Well, that's just adorable, ain't it! Why ain't ya ever tell me?!"

Wally let a couple of wheezy giggles slip, pushing at Eddies hand in protest. "Noho! Ahaha-! Eddie! We have to get back to wohohork!" He squealed, squirming as best as he could to try to get away. But Eddie just slipped one of his arms around his waist to keep him in place,now turning his pokes into light pinches at the base of his ribcage. (Or where his ribcage would be, anyway) He laughed a little and shook his head.

"I says we still got plenty of time! B'sides, your laugh is just too cute! I gotta hear more!" He said, his voice so sweet and genuine it make wallys breath catch. He shook his head frantically, his giggles increasing and the tickles got more intense.

"No! Ahahahah! Haha! I'm much to sensitive for this-EHEHEDDIE! Plehehease!"

He said, his words rushed and frantic as he brought his hands up to fan his face, his mouth open wide in his fits of giggles. Eddie hummed and leaned down to nuzzle his nose against Wallys cheek, giggling at the flustered whine it pulled from him. "Aw, no ya ain't! I think your just being dramatic so I'll stop, aren'tcha?" He coo'd, letting his hands flutter downwards to squeeze Wallys hip bones.

Lets just say Wally let out a scream high enough to rival that of Sallys vocal range.

"EEE- AHAH-! EHAHAHHAH- No-No!! Wait, waIT PLEHEASE-! I'MNOTBEINGDRAMATICTHATREALLYTICKLES!"

He said, little hiccups and gasps breaking through his laughter now as he threw his head back. His Knees buckled, and Eddie had to hurry to keep his grip stable so he didn't drop the poor puppet. Eddie let out a surprised chuckled at Wallys desperate exclamation. "I can tell!"

Wally whined again, his body gone completely limp as he laughed his poor little head off. Eddie let his attack continue for a little longer before he did eventually let up, easing Wally up right again, keeping his arms around him while he recovered. "You ok, giggles?"

Wally chuckled a little and looked up at Eddie, wiping a tear from the corner of his eye. "Yes, I'm fine. But, oh, that was mehean!" He said cupping one of his own cheeks and looking away. Eddie chuckled and let Wally go from his hug. "Aw, ya know you enjoyed it!" Then, he retrieved the letters and held them out to Wally. "Now, I believe you was lookin for these?" He said, wiggling them in front of Wally playfully. He snatched them out of his hand, although there was still a big smile on his face.

"Yes,thank you very much! And now that you've gotten all the sillyness out of you, I shall go back to getting them ready, if you wouldn't mind"

He said fixing Eddie with a light hearted glare as he walked back over to the counter. Eddie laughed brightly.

"You feel more than welcome! There's no one better for the job, I suppose!"

And there wasn't, of course.

2AM Thoughts on the Current Ghouls

Hear me out..

Mountain sits behind his drums the entire ritual, majority by himself, and everyone thinks that he wants to escape them. That he would want to walk around and entertain their thousands of fans just like Dew, Rain, and Phantom, but I think it’s the opposite. He enjoys the fact that he’s behind there by himself. This gives him a slight break from all of the chaos, it allows him to take out his frustrations and/or other emotions without causing harm to himself or others. He gets to observe everything as well, which he loves. The fans may go crazy over everyone else during the ritual, but they go insane for him at the end. People reaching out for his drumsticks gives him the only boost of confidence he needs.

The girls actually don’t mind their positions. Yeah, they do want to explore sometimes, but they’re content on where they are. Cumulus isn’t the biggest human fan, meanwhile Cirrus and Aurora are fascinated by them. Cirrus loves teasing and making the humans laugh during her Mummy Dust solo, and Aurora is in her own little world for the majority of the ritual. She has her fun at the end though, don’t worry.

Dew may act all big and tough, and oh so scary on stage, when in reality he’s the biggest cuddle bug you could ever come across. Yes, he loves watching his fans drool over him, but it can be a little much sometimes. As soon as they walk off stage, he’s glued to the person closest to him. He needs to recharge after working so hard to keep up his persona, and everyone is happy to oblige.

Shy little Rain is actually the slyest ghoul you’ll ever meet. His sweet and timid personality on stage is NOTHING compared to what he’s like offstage. He’s constantly found whispering teases into pointed ears. He’s also known to be somewhat petty, but I shall not discuss on that.

Phantom switches from confident and curious ghoul, to a timid demon-shaped puppy who just wants attention. Rituals wear him out quickly, he just wants to curl up into someone’s lap and get all the lovin’ he can take, but he’s just too shy to ask. Thankfully, Swiss completely understands and takes him into his bunk for a nice, long nap full of chin scratches and soft kisses to face. As soon as Swiss has his hands on him, he’s a purring puddle of ghoul.

Saved the best for last obv, Swiss. The horny, energetic, and feral ghoul of the bunch. While there are times he can be all of those things offstage, he’s normally the opposite. On a normal day, he’s laid back and down for anything. He’s one of the ghouls everyone goes to if they need a break from chaos. He doesn’t mind sitting in silence, cuddling, watching movies, reading- He’s there for them with whatever they need. I mean, he’s a multi ghoul, he’s good at everything.

That’s all my brain wants to say :)

spoilers for chapter 429

idk if you guys remember but ochako does have parallels with All Might, specifically as the side who saves. It’s not that he feels the same for them both or something like that, they serve to represent the type of heroism he naturally goes to; his friend is not his love interest, from his perspective she’s out there having a crisis over not being able to save her, and Izuku reminds her that she is a hero bc she is his hero -she saved him multiple times, and she should be able to feel like a proper hero.

This conversation is not about the nature of their relationship, is about heroism; Izuku relates to a conflict between being a hero who saves and failing to save someone, and doesn’t want to see Ochako ending spiraling because she couldn’t also fulfill that role as expected. She’s his hero not because he loves her romantically -he’s a nerd I’m sure he would be way more nervous and blushing if he was confessing anything he thought was romantic- but because she’s able to go and do what All Might does to Izuku, save him physically and emotionally.

He knows she hides her feelings in order to not be a burden, yet he doesn’t talk about his own feelings outside of his guilt in heroics -what does he feel about losing OFA? About his own failures? About the people he personally lost? He can’t talk for others and claim Ochako is everyone’s hero, but he can speak for himself, and that’s his personal perspective -she is a hero to him, she’s his hero. And then the class appears to make sure she’s able to get support and understand she’s not alone, and she’s important to them too.

but Izuku doesn’t get support. Izuku cries a little and talks a little about himself, but he doesn’t get supported. If this was meant to be romantic, I don’t understand why he would hold back what’s inside of him.

the end of the chapter reveals that boy is going to be helped by that woman who regretfully ignored Tenko, and they both witness it and are happy about it while hearing izuku inspired that change, and iida wonders what’s up with them -this is the conclusion to their relationship. In their hearts these two are saviors who struggle to be heroes who save others, and they are happy there are appearing more people who want to be heroes like them. Heroes who save. Save like All Might.

That grandma for example, interpreting the narrative as what I think is intended, would be that boy’s All Might; she’s his hero.

Izuku and Ochako are heroes who save, and Deku is here to remind her at least she did save him many times, that she is still a hero because she is his hero. I don’t believe is meant to be interpreted as romantic, not that Izuku sees that phrase as it neither -after all, he said he does want to be like All Might and feels good to imitate him, but he doesn’t love him.

Ochako’s All Might hair moment, the parallels with Toshinori telling him he can be a hero, the trying to save from black suffocating quirks, the we can do it and do your best…
