Hi.It's a short one,a poem,more as song i conceived and i wrote with intuition.
The story begins in the city of Galaxidi(Γαλαξειδι),near Delphi,in modern Greece:
A kind, positive and smart Greek young man,Zephyros Adamantiou, crosses a gate of sculpted lions,so he arrives to a parallel world. There he encounters a mysterious, strong and formidable girl, called "Elysia". Despite her first aloofness and reluctance for any cooperation they team up to save her world, unravel what subtle things connect them. In fact Zephyros begins to suspect that "Elysia" has her ancestry in ancient Greece.

I'm seeking the answers, about the weird artifacts of our family.
Now,since the moment I walked through the Gate of Lions I arrived to a strange and wondrous land.Very soon ,due to a misuderstanding,I got into a peril.Suddenly someone saved me:The Mysterious Girl.I can tell she's a caring one.
Mystery girl ,what is happening? Who are you? Why are you wearing such a scary mask, hiding all of your face? However I keep coming to see you.
✨Mystery Girl, under your guidance I am learning how to awake my power and how to use it.You're teaching me how to fight, how to navigate wisely. It's so nice that the Mystery Girl smiled to me.
⚔️We’ll use weapons up against the evil regime.
Sword, lance, shield, calibre and arrows. And the spellcasting too.⚔️✨
We belong to each other, during this Adventure.
As we're walking through these fields,as we’re entering the haunted, old castle we're sensing their angry, belligerent glares on us.But we’re not afraid to!
We’re coming through ancient ruins seeking for answers.
Not all the creatures around are evil, there are benevolent as well :There are the elves, the demihumen and the lionmen too.The latter ones will gladly tell me what and how happened.
🎭✨Oh great girl, you revealed to me your pretty face, you smiled to me. You shared to me your story, because you have faith on me.And me to you 😄
We have faith to each other. And we’ll make it to find the truth and beat the evil forces.🎭✨
We rolled out slightly earlier this morning as it was a longish day and the weather forecast didn’t look great.
On paper today looked like a tough day however the two major climbs of the day were very manageable and the scenery was stunning. After coffee we traversed beside Lake Munro, definitely not the scenery you would typically think of when you picture Greece.
The second of the two climbs came directly after lunch. Having made sure I didn’t overeat I was quite enjoying the climb and then the big fat drops of rain started 😩 It pretty much rained on Jose and I from there until we rolled into our hotel, about 25km. Thankfully the descent was fairly gentle and the road surfaces not too bad. Coming into town however was a bit interesting, including riding over a bridge that is under repair. We were given an alternate route but we were way over it by then.
After a hot shower we had a couple of ouzos with Charlie before getting ready for the evening.
Nafpaktos is an old Venetian port. It’s a bigger town and being a Sunday it was quite busy down in the harbour, where we had dinner. After dinner a group of us had bubbles on the beach. Our hotel, like most of the venues here, has seating by the beach as well as in the hotel. A very nice ending to a lovely day (discounting the rain).
Why Should You Include Delphi in Your Greek Travel Itinerary?
With its rich history and stunning landscapes, Greece offers numerous travel experiences that captivate the soul and ignite the imagination. Among the myriad historical sites, Delphi is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to delve into the ancient world. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus and overlooking the serene Phocis valley, Delphi was once considered the centre of the world in Greek mythology. Embarking on a Delphi tour itinerary uniquely blends historical exploration, cultural immersion, and natural beauty. This comprehensive guide will outline why a Delphi tour should be a part of your next Greek adventure and how to make the most of your visit.
Discovering the Heart of Delphi: The Temple of Apollo
The centrepiece of any Delphi tour is the Temple of Apollo. With its imposing Doric columns, this magnificent structure is where the Pythia, or high priestess, delivered her enigmatic prophecies. These prophecies guided the fates of kings and commoners alike, making Delphi a crucial site in ancient Greek history. Walking through the remnants of the temple, you can almost hear the whispers of the past and feel the weight of its divine significance.
Experiencing the Cultural Richness: The Theatre and Pythian Games
Just a short walk from the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theatre of Delphi offers a glimpse into the cultural life of ancient Greece. Overlooking the temple, the theatre was a venue for dramatic performances and musical competitions honouring Apollo. The ancient stadium where the Pythian Games were held is higher up the slope. These games, a precursor to the modern Olympics, drew athletes from all over the Hellenic world, competing in events that showcased their strength and skill. Exploring these sites allows you to appreciate ancient Greece's deep cultural roots and celebratory spirit.
Treasuries and Museums: A Glimpse into Ancient Devotions
Walking along the sacred way, you will encounter various treasuries where city-states stored their offerings to Apollo. The Athenian Treasury stands out with its intricate sculptures and detailed reliefs. These treasuries demonstrate the wealth and devotion of the ancient Greeks and their artistic achievements. A visit to the Delphi Archaeological Museum is essential to delve deeper into the artefacts and history. The museum houses a vast collection of artefacts, including the famous Charioteer of Delphi, a stunning bronze statue that exudes grace and poise.
Embracing Nature: Trails and Springs
Beyond its archaeological treasures, Delphi offers breathtaking natural beauty. The surrounding landscapes, dotted with cypress and olive groves, provide excellent trails for hiking and exploration. One notable spot is the Castalian Spring, historically used for purification by pilgrims. Today, it offers a tranquil setting for reflection and relaxation, making it a perfect addition to your Delphi tour itinerary.
