From the people emptying bins to the men and women attending to your needs on airline flights, most adults in the western world have a day job. Whether we like it or not (usually not) we have to go to them if we want to get through life with any degree of comfort or financial security. For most people, their job is something they finish at the end of the day and would like to forget about entirely; certainly not wanting to do it unless they’re going to be paid. How then is it possible that a genre of video games has found a way to make people not only simulate doing a job in their free time, but even encouraged players to pay for the privilege? The answer lies somewhere within this list of Indie Haven’s Top 5 Employment Simulators. These are games so good, you won’t mind going to work when you get home.
