pet your wave! pet your robot! pet your ship! pet your swing! pet all the gamemodes!

this is a big part of being good at GD that gets overlooked actually! if you don't treat your gamemodes with care, that will reflect in finding those gamemodes more difficult to control!

many pro players treat their gamemodes with respect. especially their waves and ships, since they tend to get the hardest work in gameplay. how do you think people get so good at ship control? you think a neglected ship is gonna want to work with their owner?

been meaning to post this guy for a while now, and what better time than when minecraft is relevant again

meet Creative, my personification of creative mode!! he's been existing in my head for maybe 4 years now (rent free too)

the other gamemodes exist too btw, I just gotta get around to drawing them fully that aren't just doodles. Survival, Creative, Hardcore, Adventure, and Spectator have quite the dynamic and ACTUALLY A LOT OF LORE

but some crumbs about Creative below! yeah he may be my favorite out of the bunch

deity guy. one of the bunch. mr inventory. he/they/it/whatever he don't really care abt pronouns. slick, deceptive, charming? acts proper but also has an undeniable fruitiness about him

tidbits abt his design bc i wanna explain

his gray tones are both to match the inventory colors and also represent being a blank slate meant for the player to build upon

I chose a design resembling a biblically accurate angel to portray the power he represents and possesses, something that could even seem godlike to anyone without it

the black hole? The bursting colors represent the possibility of magnificence that a player can create with his powers, but its always teetering on the edge of a void, showing just how easy it would also be to reduce it all to nothing.

and if you squint, you'll notice some small iridescent streaks all around his skin. those are also a small representation of possibility, their color contrasting his otherwise grayscale appearance

idk he means a lot to me, ive developed him and the others so much over the past years

i think my favorite part about hating on overwatch as a game is that they still haven't figured out a solid lore reason as to why talon members and overwatch members are fighting on the same team. like in the case of marvel rivals, they're superheroes from comic books; villains and heroes team up all the time. but in overwatch it's just like ehhh. they're hanging out. none of their interactions r canon btw. why the fuck are we pushing this robot
