No, reed900 would never be canon for so many reasons, most of all being that Connor killed Gavin in the archive room after finding Jericho, but what I like to do is think of funny silly funny ways it could be introduced, accidentally. For example, Connor returns to the DPD in the day after Markus’s winning speech. As Connor arrives, Gavin is just leaving - he quit because he hates androids - and on the way he scoffs at Connor and says some snarky shit like “can’t believe they didn’t replace you too” and Connor says “oh they tried to replace me. Yeah they wanted to send in an Upgraded version of me.” Gavin looks confused, because he’s fucking stupid, but tries to recover with “Bet he still would’ve been ugly though” and Connor says “I knew you would say something like that,” holds up his hand, projecting an image, “which is why I doctored this photo of you two making out” and Gavin obviously gets enraged, but he’s also flipping out so bad he can’t even say anything, and Connor just keeps showing him the image of himself and RK900 making out, until Gavin just storms away. But he cannot stop thinking about it for the rest of his life, meanwhile Connor already forgot Gavin’s name

Nines: *slowing stroking Gavins hair, only pausing when he needs to flip the page*
