most area of effect specials in feh have a similar attack description being "unit's attack times 1.25 minus foe's def or res"

so why does Legendary Lilina have the special description "unit's attack minus foe's def or res?"

Example: through debuffs Lilina has around lets say 55 attack (level 40 no merges) and she attacks my +10 Julius who has 68 res because of a +6 buff

so 55-68= -13 also Julius has damage reductions on AOE specials about 40% difference in res (no I will not do that math)

Either way Lilina is not hitting shit on Julius

No wonder my brother complains her area of effect never does over 20 damage!

Meanwhile ascended Ced has blazing wind + 15% true damage on AOE in his weapon BUT ALSO WEAPON TRIANGLE DISADVANTAGE which is 20% less damage and VERY LOW RES (Julius is essentially getting the best damage reduction off this hit) and Ced still lands a decent blow of at least 18 damage on Julius through AOE (I mean sure even if Ced does 0 during combat he still did more than Lilina)

Honestly this take is me just wondering why the fuck did IS not improve Lilina's AOE during her remix (and maybe bragging about my +10 Julius)
