Imagine the losers club having to do an anti bullying PSA for school. Richie and Bev play the bullies, Eddie is the victim, Stan is the narrator, Bill writes it, Ben directs/edits it, and even though Mike doesn't go to school with them they let him hold the boom mic. Also Georgie begs Bill to let him help out too so he begrudgingly lets him be an extra.

Richie is late to set and nobody can get a hold of him until he saunters onto set in a shitty Henry Bowers cosplay, complete with awful mullet wig that is really just two wigs his mom sewed together for him. Bro walked up to set looking like It the musical Henry.

Everyone's acting is really stitled and bad since they're literal children, Bev is the only one who knows how to emote. It's got all the typical 1980's cheesy video effects and music cues you'd expect. Bill keeps rewriting the ending because he can't decide how to give Richie and Bev's characters comeuppance for picking on Eddie. When they finally do get a good take the camera dies so they gotta do it all over again.

It only gets worse when Henry drops by to be an asshole for no reason and he's so confused by Richie's costume that he just stares at him and abruptly leaves.

I love the contrast of Bill Skarsgård and Tim Curry in how they are behind the scenes while playing Pennywise.

We got Skarsgård, scared he’s going to traumatize Jack Dylan Grazer, and in reality, literally none of the child actors were scared of him, Jackson Robbert Scott, saying he had fun doing the scenes with him.

And then we have Tim Curry.

Who was known to scare the child actors every chance he got, the actors all avoiding him because they found his portrayal so realistic and creepy. During Georgie’s death scene Tomy Dakota said “Tim, You’re scaring me!” To which Tim Curry responded “That’s why I’m here, kid!”

You were Richie's little sister. You are close friends with Georgie. You were only a few years older than Georgie. Your older brother Richie, actually wasn't keen on you being friends with Georgie. But being happy prevented Richie from talking about it. To be honest, Bill was apprehensive at first about you and his brother being friends. However, as time went by, Bill realized that you were not like your brother at all. Bill had begun to see you as a sister. But soon that dark day came. The rainy day you left home to play with Georgie, you never came back. Richie became a worse character after losing you. Bill never gave up searching for both his brother and you. When he finally encountered the ghosts of you and Georgie, Bill was stuck in confusion and other emotions. He swears he will definitely avenge you and Gerogie. Richie is touched emotionally when he encounters your soul. He apologizes for not being able to protect you. Even if you are not alive, he feels a little bit happy because he knows that he can see you once again. He will most likely support Bill and his gang in capturing and destroying the clown.

Watched IT chapter one the other day and all I keep thinking about is this AU idea called “let’s make a deal” where Bill protects Georgie by making a deal with Pennywise telling him that he’ll bring him only the terrible people in Derry to which Pennywise agrees. He enlists the help of his friends and they agree to do this in order to keep the kids of Derry safe (and to get rid of the bullies and Bevs shitty dad). Maybe some bonding occurs between Pennywise and the kids? Maybe he sees them as his kids or little siblings and starts to genuinely want to protect them since no one’s ever given him anything or treated him kindly before?

i’ve been writing losers club / it fics for seven years so i’ve had plenty of time to perfect their middle names so here they are

eddie’s middle name when i write him is always isaiah. it’s biblical, it’s pretty, and i just think eddie’s mom is very much about pretty perfect things and edward isaiah kaspbrak is just a pretty little name

richie

alwaysssss wentworth! always! richard wentworth tozier is so ingrained into my mind that it’s almost canon to me. i just think wentworth and maggie are the type to name their kids after themselves and when richie was born they were like okay cute, little boy, dads name as his middle name.

i think stanley asher is so cute and it’s also a popular name in hebrew and it goes well with his last name so i do love it. truth be told i did do a little digging when i was 14 and needing a middle name for stan and asher was one of the names that kept showing up on popular jewish names websites so it kinda just stuck w me. stanley asher uris ur so famous to me <3

mikes middle name is william bc it’s his dads name , but i also think he could’ve been named “michael leroy hanlon” after his grandfather. i tend to go with william though !
