Thomas x Kitty Headcanons #3

When Thomas finally started to realise he was in love with Kitty, he started panicking that he was "cheating" on Alison and wanted to let her know so he could "let her down gently"; alternatively, he's already over Alison by this point and they can be bros. Either way, once Thomas tells her his feelings for Kitty she's on board pretty quickly (it's cute and they'd be good for each other) and wants to help them get together.​

When Thomas tells the other ghosts he plans to Woo Kitty, they're less on board. Captain starts twitching. Cut to him chasing Thomas across a field. Pat helps calm him down but then also starts giving Thomas a shovel talk. He ends up getting about 20 shovel talks (the Plague Ghosts are here? And why is Mike trying to talk to him, he's facing the wrong way). However, once they see how badly he is at actually courting Kitty, they decide it's too painful to watch and all start giving him advice.​

He tries very hard to compose the perfect poem and after a lot of advice from the others manages to condense it down to just three hours! He ends up using a lot of confusing metaphors that Kitty doesn't really get, and she kind of gets distracted halfway through, but she still gives him feedback as always – not quite what he was going for though. ​

Alison suggests, since Kitty loves singing, he sings for her; he ends up choosing a sad song from a musical and she cries the whole way through.  He invites her on a “picnic” to the lake to cloud gaze but she does that with the Captain sometimes so it obviously couldn't be with romantic intentions! He invites her to watch their favourite films – again, chooses a sad chick flick that she cries the whole time through. ​

He tries every time to let her know his feelings but he either freezes, gets tongue-tied or she just doesn’t understand. She’s spent so long thinking she and Thomas would never have a chance that she doesn’t fully realise he’s serious.

The others try giving advice but that's even more confusing.

Thomas finally gives up trying to be romantic and just come out with it -​

Thomas: I've realised I'm in love with someone​

Kitty: really? That’s great, do they know?​

Thomas: Well, I've been dropping them the most insanely obvious hints for nearly a month now. No response.​

Kitty: Wow. They sound stupid.​

Thomas: But they're not! They're really smart actually. Just... dense.​

Kitty: Maybe you need to be more obvious? Like, I don't know... "Hey! I love you!"​

Thomas: I suppose you're right. Hey Kitty, I love you​

Kitty: See! Just say that!​

Thomas: Jesus fucking Christ ​

Kitty: If that flies over their head then, I'm sorry Thomas, but they're too dumb for you​

Thomas wants to smash his head into a wall but seeing as that's physically impossible for him, he decides to just go for it and kisses Kitty instead.​

He starts apologising for not asking her first but she just carries on kissing him. They do get to talk eventually (a while later) and explain their feelings to each other. From then on they're inseparable. ​

Still recovering from your jetlag since your arrival in Tokyo two days ago, you left your hotel room to get a new PCR test since its mandatory to enter restaurants or shops. It was still early in the morning when you walk  to the local covid testing area and hopefully get a negative result. You see some of the Olympic stadiums and you also hope to get a glimpse of the athletes on their way to their training or competition. Despite all the covid restrictions what makes it not allowed for visitors to attend a competition, You still want to see some of the amazing atmosphere it should be here in Tokyo . It’s the main reason you booked this expensive flight but you find it all worth it.

 When you arrived at the testing location and taking place in the waiting room you see two people looking at you in the distance talking with one of the nurses. It seems like they are officials or coaches from the Olympics because of the badge they wear around there neck. From the look on there faces you could see it’s something serious or concerned they talk about. You don’t care about it anymore and pick up your phone to see if there is any news. Your scrolling over the news page and saw another article about some mysteries of people who get missing during the games. Not again this bullshit, it’s just a clickbait you thought.  You scrolling further and see an article about a few athletes tested positive for covid. The names of the athletes where made public but you don’t know any of them. Thomas Kaplan, Ryan Harlow,  Marios Georgiou….etc. it was very sad for them, they worked and prepared years to attend on the games but a small virus destroyed everything.  While sinking away in thoughts your suddenly called by a nurse to come with here for the test. It was the same nurse who talked to the guys of the Olympics you noticed. You walked with here to a separate room and the test was very quick done. After a few minutes she came back to say you’ve got as negative result and because of that there are a some people who wants to give you some benefits because of it. because you have a negative result you have the opportunity to get closer to the Olympic games she tells, think about it there are very limited people who get this chance so if I was you I shouldn’t waste it. you don’t  think twice, it would be amazing to attend a game! You tells here. good, go straight to the exit and outside there will be a transport ready to bring you there she said. You directly took your belongings and walking away.

 Once you are outside you saw a black van with the two guys who talked with the nurse earlier standing in front of it. you must be the guy one of them said. Is this where they talked about earlier? To look for someone with a negative result so they can experience the games from a closer point? You thought. ‘Nice to meet you man’ says the man who looks like a coach. Take a seed In the van and we will bring you straight to the place where its going to happen he says with a small grin on his face what makes you a little bit uncomfortable. In about 15 minutes you arrived and it seems like it’s the location where the gymnastics are held. Follow me the coach said. you enter the building in what seems an entrance for athletes or staff. Do I get a tour through the building you asking the man. ‘Soon you will know’ is the only thing he says, what you makes more uncomfortable. After passing some checkpoints you arrived in something what looks like the place where the gymnastics prepare for there game and the ‘coach’ you’ve followed turns to you. The reason whey you are here is not because you get a tour or to attend a game he says. Its far more important, you see, one of our athletes has tested positive.  He prepared years for this and we don’t want to waste this. So you are going to replace him. The moment when he said this you shivered. You don’t exactly what he means but you don’t want this. You try to run away but find out all the doors are locked. You see the coach walking to you with an ejection needle. Whatever this is its, not good.

 He grasp you by your arm and hold you thigh while he put your shirt aside to inject you. STOP! PLEASE STOP! You scream. But before you can say anything else he puts his hand for your mouth and puts the needle in your shoulder. What did you do to me you scream, he starts to grin. What I put in your shoulder is pure DNA from Marios Georgiou, you are going to become him. You will replace him this games.  You wanted to scream while he said this, but you can’t your almost fainting from panic and you falls on your knees. Its already starting Marios he says whit a evil voice. I’ve prepared this for months and after the games you will be a backup for other times if he  can’t play he said with now some pride in his voice. But all what you can think about now is how to survive. This cant be real, those rumors about missing persons I called bullshit are real. This can’t be happening!

 Suddenly a terrible pain goes trough your body and it feels like everything is swelling. You look at your hands and you see them clearly growing. Veins are spreading over it and extending to your arms. The pain was horrible and in agony you put of your shirt and saw your arms are much more muscular now. Your chest is swelling next and your nipples are turning to a brown tanned color. You look at your hands  again and the tan skin tone is spreading across it and slowly covering your whole body. next was your face, you feel it being reshaped. Your lips getting smaller and your nose gets wider. Your eyes are getting  a deep brown color.

 Almost knock out of the intense pain the coach, your coach, held you a mirror. In shock you see not yourself, but Marios Georgiou.

 You want to cry but suddenly there are strange memories invading you. Memories about how to make a perfect backflip and things ‘you’ve’ learned in years of training. Confidence is overflowing you while your mind setting is changing. You stand up and starts preparing for your competition who is starting in 30 minutes. You still remembering your old life, but to be a ‘clone’ of Marios is not bad after all. You smile and put on your leotard.
